sharron me This was a most awesome experience. The itinerary was great, there was so much to see and do. Both the tour guide and driver were with us all the way. The tour guide was very kind, considerate and caring and the driver drove wonderfully - I would love to sit in a BMW or a Porsche with him driving it - zoooo....mmmm !!!

ipek coşkun This is a great tour agency. Each group is no more than 10 and hence we get a smaller bus and can interact with the guide more. The guides are very friendly and really know a lot about the places we visit. Well-planned itinerary. We were kept occupied throughout the tour with attractions, decent meals, as well as songs and facts, rattled off by the guides. The small group also allows guides to get to know you and also allows you to not be so overwhelmed by large groups of people crowding around one area. Highly recommended, if you go for tours, please sign up to Chiallax Tours, you will love it.

Harriet Darby Had a great time on the Philip Island Chillax Tour! Even though the weather was horrendous, our tour guides went above and beyond to make the whole experience memorable through booking us on to extra indoor activities that werent on the original itinerary, providing umbrellas and snacks, and dropping us closer to our hostel so we didnt have to walk back in the rain! The guides also made for a really relaxed atmosphere making it easy to bond with the rest of our group. Highlight of the trip was definitely seeing the Little Penguins but if the weather looks like it may be cold then bring loads of layers because it does get freezing!! Overall, I would highly highly recommend especially because the price is so much better than many other Philip Island tours.

njan y We took a day tour to Great Ocean Road and it was a great tour altogether. A huge thanks to our tour guide sweet Ahmet for keeping us entertained and providing us all the information about the tour, history of places along, and all the fun facts. A great day spent in Victoria. Thanks again!

Berat I did the Phillip Island day tour. I am about to book my second trip! Such a great way to see Victoria. The small groups make all the difference and Ive met some really cool and interesting like-minded people on the trips. The little extras like coffee, snacks, fizzy drinks, and water and awesome tour company with friendly guides.

Imges Backwoods Gallery

(70) Reviews Backwoods Gallery:

Bonsai I love Backwards Gallery! I generally avoid going on opening nights of exhibitions due to sensory processing issues. When I do go, whoever is there is friendly, attentive, happy to answer questions and share information. I’ve been following Backwards Gallery for many years now, and the artists they show tend to be artists I already know and adore or ones I am genuinely excited to have been introduced to!

Valentina Gonzalez-Arnao A lovely space but they do not block off areas they don’t want you to go. To say “you should know” is fine for employees but not for members of the public looking around the area

Rickie Swain Wonderfully presented gallery space, exhibitions are of a high standard. Have been fortunate to purchase a couple of pieces over the years. The team are great to deal with.

Robin Rose I have been following Backwards Gallery for a couple of years due to an ROA exhibition I noticed online, however I only made the trip to Melbourne and the gallery for the first time last week. I was greeted warmly by Emerson at the desk and was blown away by the two shows they were exhibiting and just the high level of curation and friendliness by the team. I had a great chat about art with Emerson and I love that physical brick and mortar galleries like this still exist in an age where so much is just online. Would recommend visiting this gallery and supporting this particular local gallery to anyone.

David Price Awesome. An amazing pub/music venue next door - the Tote.

dean sunshine For decades this has been my favourite mural in Melbourne, some say this work by Keith Haring was the beginnings of our now globally famous street art scene. It was the first post on my blog Land Of Sunshine back in 2010 and features in my book Street Art Now self published in 2014. Keith was an absolute master and Melbourne is very fortunate to have this here. The mural now restored still brings a smile on my face whenever I pass by, as well as the many fans that also visit from here and also abroad. I highly recommend any lovers of street art to go check it out.

Betty Bird Went to the Photobook exhibition. A nice little community run space with lots of enthusiastic art community members. Interesting show but perhaps a little lost in Melbourne. Love the area and Saturday nights nearby are fabulous for a feed of any type of food!!

Dani Watson I recently visited the Centre for Contemporary Photography (CCP) gallery and was amazed by the three exhibitions currently on display. From traditional black-and-white pieces to contemporary color photography, each show offered something unique and captivating. The CCP is a real haven for photographers and art lovers alike - it truly offers something special. The atmosphere of the space is inviting and inspiring, with plenty of room to explore and appreciate each piece of artwork. The staff are also incredibly knowledgeable about all of the works, so if you have any questions theyre always happy to help.

Karam Devnani This is my favourite burger in Melbourne. Best one Ive had without a doubt. They put train carts on top of a building and put a restaurant in it. Its just so cool. The burgers were amazing. The oklahoma fried onion cheeseburger. 2 smashed patties, fried onions, cheese. Simple, but done so well. The patties had a strong beefy taste and quite lean. The fried onions gave it that nice sweetness and the cheese was your typical american cheese. This burger just satisfies my cravings every time. The sweet potato chips with gravy and cheese was a great side. The chili cheese fries were as good as you would get them in America, and the onion rings were perfect. Cant fault anything Ive had in this place.

Rayana Oeyshi Tried Easey’s Burger Joint recently—mixed experience overall. Food: Oklahoma Fried Onion Cheeseburger – Not a fan. The beef itself was tasty, but the onions were overwhelming—chewy, undercooked, and too crunchy for what I expected. Mac & Cheese Loaded Fries – Loved these! Great portion size and full of flavor. Chicken Bow Wow – Really enjoyed this one. Tasty and felt like a lighter, healthier option with the cabbage slaw. Ambience: The decor is definitely cool and trendy—strong "young crowd" vibe. We reserved the train lounge for dinner, which added a fun twist to the experience. Service: Disappointed here. We mentioned in our online booking that we were celebrating our honeymoon, but the staff didn’t acknowledge it at all. Most places would offer a small gesture or even just a “congratulations,” but nothing here. It made the experience feel a bit impersonal and inattentive. Would come back for the fries and chicken, but probably wouldn’t go out of my way again.

AJ Martinelli-Walsh AWPTV Went there yesterday with two of my siblings, Great food, I especially liked the chips, plenty of great options for all kinds of budgets. Was super cool eating inside an old Hitachi Carriage. Also really appreciative of the service and the communication from them and Im super grateful to the restaurant for accommodating our needs, especially when we arrived 15 minutes late after our train from Albury/Wodonga got delayed in the outskirts of Melbourne and required a change to the Metro train at Broadmeadows. Highly recommend checking this restaurant out.

Nina Lin Easeys is one of Melbournes most distinctive dining destinations, featuring train carriages on the roof for a truly one-of-a-kind experience! It’s a trendy spot (a must-visit for influencers) and perfect for capturing photos of both the food and the quirky setting. We ordered the Rowdy Double Cheeseburger, Oklahoma Fried Onion Cheeseburger, and Chili Cheese Sweet Potato Chips. The Oklahoma Fried Onion Cheeseburger was my favorite. The first bite was decent, but with each bite, the flavors became more satisfying, and I ended up loving it. The Rowdy Double Cheeseburger felt like a high-quality take on a McDonald’s Double Cheeseburger — tasty, and I enjoyed it as well. Unfortunately, the Chili Cheese Sweet Potato Chips were disappointing. They weren’t hot when served and had turned soft and slightly soggy, which took away from the experience. Overall, Easey’s is a fun and unique place to visit, ideal for capturing great photos and soaking in the atmosphere — even if not every dish hits the mark.

Drew Incredible projection space just off Smith Street. When we visited, there was a haunting display by local artist Elizaveta Maltseva. Remarkable use of public space (and just across the road from Laser Pig!). Dog friendly too.

Thomas Liontis It is a rather basic park, getting here is not particularly difficult by any means of travel, but it is rather bland and the park itself has little amenities around it, only some benches and some block seat objects.

Grace Lee Just a small park but nice to sit down and eat lunch
5 /5
S C Not bad, lacking a bit of imagination. Nice if you want to sit down and eat, grabbed a banh mi on Smith St and came here to enjoy it. There’s so park benches, 3-4 trees, some bins and that’s about it.
