Im talking about the older medical assistant thats it upfront.the younger one the seats in the back she is nice. Never had an issue with her.

Amanda Iniquez I never have to wait long, to see the DR. Txt reminders are sent to my phone for appointments and confirmation. That’s a big help for me. The woman at the front desk are always nice, even if I’m a little late.

Even after I moved to Fresno I still come back to the Madera office to see my doctor he is so great. The whole staff is very kind, understanding and concerned with your health and well-being, I am so glad we have Camarena health in our area!

Isaiah Deleon This review is specific to Dr. Lurlay. In all honesty, I have never met a doctor as dismissive and completely uninterested in my health as Dr. Lurlay. She repeatedly interrupts me as Im in the middle of explaining my symptoms, and for every single symptom I bring to her attention, she explains that I need to see another doctor because she "doesnt treat that". If you are a member of the LGBTQ community, be prepared to feel unheard and completely dismissed by this doctor. She has no idea what PREP/Truvada is, and she showed absolutely no interest in learning.

Guitar Strings This company hired my sister as an xray tech and shes been excited about it ever since. She unfortunately has a very serious medical condition that most doctors ignored, now that has resulted in her needing a very invasive surgery. She spoke with HR and let them know the situation and they have been more than happy to work with her. Shes still in the process of recovering, and has been to the ER multiple times since then. I had to leave a review because any company that puts the needs of their employees health before the company is one I would be proud to work for. I cannot wait for her to be healthy enough to start working for this company. Thank you for being patient with my sister, it means a lot to me and my family!

Gina Ortiz Dr Laura is a great doctor if theres any doctor worth seeing in this facility is Dr Laura because the " Bhavyata Vaddavalli "young lady that I saw today had to call in her Useless """supervisor ""to tell her to do her job and believe me I walked out even worse than how I came in but I went ahead until that supervisor she was fired because they did not treat my condition they just made me feel like I was lying about my pain and about my discomfort I was there for uterus pain and they were talking about infertility and my bladder and it made me just feel like what the heck is going on here who is the doctor cuz I feel like Im just talking to a regular day person that has no skills on how to use the tools they have been given I went in there asking for an ultrasound but of course how she said only do ultrasounds Im pregnant people well guess what keep your one star because if I could I would give you zero but shout out to Dr Laura and the supervisor here camarena sucks. Do not go here do yourself and FAVOR SAVE YOUR TIME AND ENERGY. I FELT SO UNIMPORTANT AND A DOC IS SUPPOSED TO CARE NOT TELL YOU WHAT U ARE FEELING IS NOT TRUE

Cierra M I went to a dental appointment for my child and received horrible customer service by the front desk. I arrived early to the appointment and the front desk stated that they would need to verify my insurance through my employer. The front desk employees stated they couldn’t verify my insurance even though I called the insurance company and a representative from the front desk spoke to the representative over the phone and verified that my son does have insurance. The representatives at the front desk were very rude and disrespectful. We waited over 30 minutes to not be seen at all once we were told that he didn’t have insurance even though proof was provided. My son and I were both discriminated against. I would not recommend the dental office on A Street at all.

Lauren V Im super happy to never go back here. Ive never had so many denied claims from my insurance from office filing issues. The dental office has a policy for once a year cleanings for adults which doesnt match most insurance coverage. I also had to get a filing re-done at another location after have a dental student complete work on me. I was recommended to go to Dr. Qianmin Wang, DDS instead by my orthodontist. I wouldnt recommend Camarena to my worst enemy.

Amanda Walker I was referred out through the VA. I accepted Camarena because I wanted Dr. Young specifically to deliver my baby. I explained to the scheduler that because of the VA process I’m already in my second trimester she got me an appointment next day. Day of appointment they canceled it because the Dr wouldn’t be there. Couldn’t get me in for another month. I did not cancel you did the day off and now I won’t be seen for another month. I have had no maternity care and they really just didn’t give a crap. I am calling the VA to see if I can be seen at Dr. Young’s Fresno office. Yesterday there were multiple slots open now the day of my appointment there aren’t any for a month?

IANA RAI Dont waste your time! The three-hour wait at urgent care wasnt even the main issue. The real problem was that your "top RN" showed a complete lack of concern for her patients. After waiting for three hours, we were finally put in a room, only to wait another hour. The so-called doctor came in and spent no more than ten minutes with my dad, dismissing his condition as just a stomach ache. Today, we were admitted to a hospital and learned that if we had waited even one more day, the situation could have been dire. Its astonishing that you prescribed my dad medication for "strep throat" when that wasnt even the issue. If she truly cared for her patients, she would have listened to them instead of rushing and neglecting proper care. I believe her name was Gagan or something of the sort. PS: GET BETTER CAMERENA!!!!

Shea Holloway The wait time . Getting an appointment is not easy due to the doctor or physicians assistant not regularly being avaliable and ones appointment being canceled and rescheduled fairly often. Its a 50:50 hit or miss in the competancy and care regarding the staff and nurses. The doctor and PA seem compitant and compassionate, but unable to handle paperwork and anything beyond a basic prescription. If you need a prior authorization, need documents signed regarding your health, etc. Good luck! Its like pulling teeth. Its not a lack of care, but competancy regarding legal, documentation, and insurance issues. I would rate this office at 3.5 stars out of five. The receptionist needs the most improvement, followed by some of the nurses, and the doctor/PA only need improvement in legal. The doctor/PA truly seem to do their job well (healing the sick). And I thank them for it! UPDATE 4.5 real stars! Great improvement from appointments to far less wait time. In and out in 45min. Nurses, great! Helpful, kind, professional. PA, great, patient, discusses options, but cares about patients overall health.

Jo Wolfe He is a very caring Dr. He takes time with you he listens to what you have to say and he explains everything so you can understand. He answers any questions and concerns you may have. Since I was first referred to him for removal of my gaul bladder in 2003 I have continued to see for other issues. The next one being I no longer had to return to the gastroenterologist who referrede to him. Because while he was going to do the gaul bladder surgery he asked if I was going to have the surgery to get rid ofy acid reflex. I didnt know there was such a thing And when I brought in the pictures from an endoscopy he showed the the.hiedal jernia

Natasha G Dont recommend taking any kids or babies here. You are better off getting a doctor at Valley Childrens, the wait for this office is terrible. My child had an appointment at 1:30, and we were moved out of two clinic rooms still waiting to see the doctor and saw the doctor at 6 p.m. we were the last people to leave and all the lights to the building were off, had to exit out of an emergency door. Had to beg the doctor for a referral to have my child be seen for emergency care. The nurses are awful, they gave my child another TB test when he just had his done and was there for the flu shot only and they didnt bother asking what he was there for or even looking at his chart. Most unprofessional doctors and staff.

Luis Garcia This office is completely awful and unprofessional starting from the lack of education, resources, awful nurses, bad receptionists, and especially doctors. The wait time is absolutely ridiculously long for no reason and the appointments are less than 15 minutes and most of it is waiting for the doctors to arrive to check your children. This place was my personal pediatrician when I was younger but now having my own child years later nothing has changed in this business please take your children somewhere deserving. This place exploits low income Latino families... AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Abe This place needs to do better. Appointments are 3 hours long. Or more. Wrong eta is given. People out to lunch and nobody to assist even after being admitted to a room. You ask roughly how much longer? She is clueless. Who’s managing schedules? Staffing? If your reading this, DO better. People have jobs to be at and other things to do. Also, these “medical assistance” need to work on their compassion and patient service skills. Because it stinks.

Rosalinda Garcia Came in on Xmas eve and got in so quick Nurses and staff where so nice, fast and very informative.. We just moved here from Arizona and I am not use to the fog/mist. So it was nice to be able to take the back roads to this hospital. I would have definitely not made it to Fresno! I just found out during our visit this hospital is closing. What a great loss for this community that I am now apart of. Thank you to Tyler and all the staff working tonight. You guys are amazing.

Maria Carrion If I could give 10 stars I would .the staff was great, from the kitchen to the nursing staff, and the Dr made my moms hospital stay very easy and safe. Its a small hospital ,that provides that small town at home environment. I know my mom is well cared for at this hospital. I wouldnt trust anyone else with my moms care but MCH.

Lisa Newman So on Halloween, which they admit is one of their busiest nights of the year, they have one doctor. With my blood pressure raging at 194/106 when I arrived, I waited 7 hours to be told I wasnt important enough to be seen by the doctor and to wait an additional 3 hours for an appointment with the clinic. Great service no wonder Madera community hospital ranks worst in the entire valley!!!
