Janice Ostrow This is the 2nd time in a month that a scheduled appt at a Marshall Clinic got canceled 2 weeks out and then I have to wait another month. Marshall clinic unreliable! I have to keep postponing foot surgery. Good grief! Update: Cardiology got me in on 6/11 and the doctor was very nice. He cleared me for my surgery and I was able to get back on the surgery schedule for July 2nd. I updated this from 1 to 5 stars. Thank you for getting me in.

I very much appreciate Dr. Henjum for his kind assurance from the beginning and extraordinary way he has fulfilled the task and for kind words while discharging me. I very much agree with all those who reviewed and showered grateful thanks for his extraordinary consciousness and patience in performing their duties. Regarding the assistance from the nurses on duty, I very much remember their sweet smiles and patiently discharging their duties even during night. I pray God to give greater strength to all of them. Nick Brown This doctor over prescribes pain meds! Three members of my family were his patients, two are dead and one is addicted and a current patient of his. He gets around the new laws by prescribing higher doses instead of giving over the amount allowed. Something needs to be done! Everyone in ED County knows to go to this dr if they want their opiates. I will be following up with a complaint to the Medical Board.

Pamela J. Palmer Dr. Galang is one of the best doctors I have ever had. He is very smart and up to date on medical solutions. Additionally he is kind and caring. I highly recommend him. He has been my doctor since 2011.

Lar Man Ive never known a physician that listened so intently to what I was saying as this MD listened. I moved 260 miles away, but I will go back to El Dorado County and rent a motel room just to get an appointment and be seen by this incredible MD the next day. Have never found a DR who was so involved in my medical care as Dr Galang. Im considering moving back to the Placerville area just so I can have him as my PCP.

karen dapello El Dorado Community Health Center has provided excellent care for my husband and me for seven years. Their new offices on Missouri Flat Road provides one stop shopping for medical, dental, mental health, pharmacy and lab work. It is a state of the art facility with top-notch staff. They provide professional, prompt and courteous service and we are very pleased to have found them. We recommend them highly.

Dave M Thank god in not terminally I’ll or I’d be dead. I couldn’t make an appointment so I try to schedule a phone appointment, and Of course they won’t allow that. Then they tell me that my appointment for October 26 is not available and the closest they have is December 26. Again likely I don’t need this doctors appointment or I would probably be dead by then. Thanks for nothing as usual EDCHC. You guys are terrible still. I will be Looking for a new doctor again.

Lilia Jimenez Simply the best dentist I have taken my daughter to. She’s six and was so comfortable. The entire staff in the dental office was so welcoming and very nice. They are so amazing with their little patients. My daughter absolutely loved this dental office. I don’t mind the hour and a half drive not one bit! Josh Run and dont look back. Been dealing with these guys for years with a handful of different practitioners and it has been a dread. These arent doctors these are referal assistants at best and have a hard time doing that. Its been the same story but as of late been the worst with ashley witherspoon who cuts you off is irritated if you want to describe exactly your symptoms. Her method is get out in 2 min or less . She spends most that time looking at the computer and dully pretending to listen while giving random mhm before cutting you off and making random guesses before sending you to a actual doctor which would be great if they would get your referals over but plan on months of waiting and them blaming insurance even though every other area provider gets referals out usually in a day or 2. The scheduling staff is untrained and will argue insane things with you. I was in a not at fault wreck 2 weeks ago and told to follow up with my primary for further treatment. These guys argued with me that i need to call the at fault persons insurance and go to the doctor of there choice which is completely false. It has been weeks of false info accusations lies and miss information ultimately denying and delaying patient care. I have been advised by advocates and other providers that have tried reasoning with them to get out of there so i can get help Im on 2 weeks post accident with zero help after a major wreck . They have added so much unessicary attitude stress confusion and false info to this horrible situation and provided no medical assistance its insane. Its abundantly clear where there intentions are and they are not the team patients deserve to feel they have with there medical providers It has been years of this navigating major back problems trying to get physical therapy or any medical help and it has always been a absolute horror. There is a reason they cant keep employees or providers for the life of them and the ones they have make it clear they arent there because of passion for helping or anything and that its about the only job available for them so they use as a hold over spot. If they do get a good one they are gone fast and i have been told why by one of them and its very clear . This place is simply a referal ageancy and a check box clinic and knowbody seems to care to actually figure out issues with patients and take pride in the fact they figured it out correctly and found a fix like a real doc does.. they are tight knit with eachother though and will blame everything and everyone but themselves even when its abundantly clear they screwed up. If you like being denied basic medical care or enjoy long slow to no treatment for injurys where you can be treated like your just a problem if you advocate for yourself then sign up they are amazing at that. They are the bottom of the barrel of health care in el dorado county but hey they do have a fancy new building so if you are in to that maybe they are for you .

iain wilson You have to wait a minimum of 15 minutes to talk to anyone. They cancelled my appointment because I was sick now I have any ear infection from being sick and cant get through to anyone. Appointments are months out. Its like the dmv. It wears you down. If its not life and death its not worth it.

Dee Dourte 1st experience about a yr ago was life saving & very caring . Literally saved my life as I had gone septic from staff infection turned worse. Not so good today. Went in early morning due to new infections that needed help . Not only were they uncaring but didn’t hear a word I tried to explain with about my condition or the help I truly needed . The ER Dr seemed to be offended by my explanation why I had to refuse their method of treating my problem instead hearing me & taking me seriously they simply released me .. no blood work no tests etc.. prescribed me useless medication as well as stuff I couldn’t take . Didn’t discuss any of the meds before prescribed & pointed me out the door. Only asked what I was allergic to & didn’t give the time of day for any discussion. I left without any real proper care & to deal with my own infections. Beyond frustrating,discouraging & left to my own defenses . Hope I make it

Juan Hernandez My whole family have been struggling with my 83 year old mother has been hospitalized for 25 days and the doctors cant find where she is bleeding, they dont know if its from the colon or the stomach on the 21st day they say they dont have the modern tools or equipment where they can see where my mother is bleeding and they have already done around 5 transfusions and we demand that they send her to another hospital where they do have specialist and the technology tools and they dont want to do it, they say that first they have to check in local hospitals and if they refuse they will expand their search to other hospitals, we researched in our part and checked with other hospitals in the Bay area and they told us that Marshall Hospital managed their transfer, but we dont understand what they are waiting for, my mother has already left the ICU area, and now they want to send her to a Nursing Home and they are saying that when she bleeds again they will take her back to the same hospital, my question is, do you think we are ignorant or that we dont realize their intentions ??? The negligence is evident and Why not say abuse!!!! We are already on the 25th and no transfer to another hospital has has been resolved ! The case manager is not doing anything.

Bonnie Smith I was taken there by ambulance. I was in excruciating pain in my abdominal area and right lower back. So much I was crying out in pain. After 3 hours of this pain, I was dry heaving. No one came to check in on me until I yelled out my door if I could get something for the pain. Finally a half hour later I was given some pain relief. The doctor on duty didnt even come in the room and talk to me. In passing, he popped his head in and told me I had a kidney stone. That they are releasing me, and I have prescriptions at my pharmacy to pick up. I did not feel well cared for and there wasnt any empathy at all. Im still upset about the whole situation and being in constant excruciating pain for that long has traumatized me.

White E Almost 2 years ago my wife found out she was pregnant. She was at the beginning stages of pregnancy and had extreme stomach pain. When we first went to the er so she could get checked out she told them she was pregnant and the nurse said if she wanted to get a abortion they make a pill for it. Which was odd and extremely out of nowhere as my wife made no suggestion about it or brought that up, we were just there for stomach pain and to make sure the fetus was okay. Then the doctor came in and told my wife and I that the stomach pain was probably a miscaraige and we wouldn’t have a kid and all this negative stuff and sent us home. Happy to say 2 years later we have a beautiful healthy little girl. But what a nightmare/ insulting for 2 first time parents just going to check out stomach pain.

Rick Sandell Had a MRI schedule , I live in Cameron Park, they called to confirm. I showed up in the CP imagining department on time and was told I was to be in Placerville. Not one time did theyre scheduling personal inform me that detail. Needless to say I missed my scan and was told I could reschedule in late January. This scan would of been free for me since it was in December. Now since the new year with insurance it will cost me $500.00 Marshall get your act together.

Stan Hill Had the chance to meet the new FNP* – David Santellan. While it will take a while for us to get over Tracy Harris’ retirement … David was Great to interact with. Listened intently; asked clear to understand follow-up’s questions: Explained options & gave Clear instructions for our selected course of treatment. Highly recommend. Also, Monica at check-in (& volunteered to check me out when there was a back-up) was welcoming, friendly & helpful. * FNP = Family Nurse Practitioner.

I’ve talked to every person in the billing department , gave them medical info over and over and over and they keep sending me the bill and not billing the insurance.
