Trish Fauvrelle Had a wonderful afternoon visiting the homestead and gardens. Very knowledgeable volunteers who highlighted great historical facts about the place and its items. Devonshire tea was delicious and we couldn’t help ourselves and also had their hummingbird cake, sitting outside in the garden. The day was delightful and the weather was being kind. Great day out.

Tia When my partner and I arrived, we were greeted with a warm smile by all the staff and were sent on the tour immediately. Our friendly tour guide had so much knowledge and we were just so fascinated about the history behind it all. Every little detail about each rooms in the house was so interesting and impressive. Towards the end of the tour, we were sent to the museum part and did a self wonder. The homestead also has this cute cafe if you wanted to have a little break for some scones and coffee. Definitely would recommend for those who love history.

Visitors often praise the lookout for its scenic beauty, making it a popular spot for photography and romantic outings. The surrounding area features walking paths and picnic spots, enhancing the experience for families and couples alike. Many reviews highlight the peaceful atmosphere and the well-maintained facilities, such as benches and informational signs about the local flora and fauna. Yongkang He Nice view, it is worthwhile to stop for a while, you can see the city far away and thr nearby Frankston pier.
5 /5
John Locke Some reviews say it’s a great spot because you can watch the beautiful scenery of the sunset, beach, bay, suburbs, rocks from a hill. However, not very worth walking up a long rising way to the hill just for watching the long distant horizon. Take a bus if you have leisure time to wait under the hot sun because there is only 1 bus every hour on a weekday. No problem if you have or rent a car because the traffic is smooth on Nepean Highway. The

jessica beckman Fabulous park. So much to do with kids of all ages. Multiple swings and slides. A great water play area and skate park for older kids. Only down side, the park is not full fenced

Deepu A Mani Huge place with plenty of things to do for kids. Kids can explore a lot. Suitable for kids of all ages. There are two separate parts. 2 Zip lines, plenty of swings, see saw, slides, climbing places, cycle and skating park, basket ball court. Public toilets. Plenty of parking around the park. Barbecue area. Sand pits and many more.
5 /5
Kerbray Quite an expansive park with a few playground areas, off leash dog parks and pleasant walking tracks. It wasnt totally clear where the off leash dog areas were, but there were few people present when we visited. Unfortunately a few dog owners didnt clear-up after their dog, but it was a nice place to let them roam nonetheless. Parking was plentiful and there were both toilet facilities and picnic areas.

MK 612 Very attractive pier, ideal for strolling, fishing or just enjoying the chilled beachy vibe. The surrounding boardwalk and walking trails are tidy, modern and well maintained. Super pretty place with excellent views.

John Locke There are kids, families, couples and other people fishing, swimming and taking photos of wedding in Frankston Pier on a weekday. You can picnic on the land. There are a restaurant and an ice cream bar. Enjoy fish and chips, cool to cold winds, sunset and seagulls. Simply walking is relaxing. The parking space is limited and has to be paid.

S sou During the day it was very nice. There are some bbq area, bridge, lots of kids in playground. However, No lights at all along the pier, very dark and scary. A few fishing people along the pier who had to use their own lights. There are toilet on the beach which is ok. But I’m just Feeling not safe around this area at night.

Pinar Kirmizi It is a clean and fun beach where families and young people can go. The only thing missing is the lack of life guards in case of emergency. It is very sad that the authorities should take precautions about this

Betty Damianidis Attended the magic by moonlight event here last night. Was a delight to see all the children exited with the colouful and interactive displays. Is wheelchair accessible but just know that it is not paved even ground.
5 /5
Heiko Griessbach Very nice. A jewel in the city, worth to visit.
5 /5
Anita Harris Its okay. A mid-sized park with some parking available (Id suggest Williams Street). There are trails, a small man-made pond, amenities, a BBQ/picnic area and a playground. There are a couple of interesting pockets, carvings and so on, which is good if youre having a wander, but Its not a place where you could walk for hours. Of course the gorgeous Frankston foreshore is only a couple of KM away (I waked through Beauty Park from these gardens to get to the trails along the beach, which was an easy enough walk) so you could easily lobby a visit to the GP Botanic Gardens into a larger exploration of the area.
3 /5
Paul Pavlinovich Great gardens bringing some peace to inner Frankston. At the Foot Street end there are picnic tables and BBQ available. There is a big adventure playground with some unusual equipment like a log swing. Further in is the duck pond. There are lots of walking paths and lots of grass spaces to just sit and chill. There are accessible gender free toilets.

6.Olivers Hill Beach

Address: 531 Nepean Hwy, Frankston VIC 3199

Imges Olivers Hill Beach

(501) Reviews Olivers Hill Beach:

John Locke I prefer Olivers Hill Beach to Frankston Beach because there are fewer people, more beautiful rocks and cleaner sea water than Frankston Beach. Go swimming, sunbathing, fishing, jogging along the broad walk, watch the sunset, seagulls, boats and waves and do other activities with your kids, friends and family in this attractive place. The water and winds are cold under the hot sun. You can buy coffee, fish and chips from a van. The pier and ramp are close.
5 /5
Ali Al Alawi Awesome beachside walkway! Ideal for walking or cycling. The combination of the road, tracks, rocks, and sea creates a stunning view.
4 /5
Sobhy Fouad Its an amazing beach with clean sand and clean water. The beach is surrounded by a big playground for kids, restaurants, car parking and lots of trees.
5 /5
Russel Smith Lovely sandy beach just a short stroll away, or walk the short pier. Boat launching ramp and a walk track. Also a lookout at the top of the hill if youre heading towards Frankston.

Stan Lim Its good beach. Some nice rock formations and the boat ramp for photography. More quiet than Frankston Beach. Also a decent spot for sunsets. IG: tensaislim

Amy Burnett We spotted this market whilst out on our morning walk and it didnt disappoint. Petite treats was there and also Giant Springs rolls....I tried lining up for a giant spring 2 weeks ago at Emerald market and the line was huge....
5 /5
Annette R Dutton I go to Beauty Park regularly to enjoy the lake, fountain, ducks, green grass and gardens. it is also close to visit the war memorial. Bbqs, undercover picnic tables and toilets. plenty of parking
5 /5
Anita Harris I walked through here while heading from the mid-sized botanical gardens to the very appealing Frankston foreshore, and its not a bad space. Certainly its been thoughtfully used. There is parking, there are amenities, a small lake adds some interest at one end, theres some exercise equipment at the other end, and there are walking paths that basically do a circuit and cut across at a couple of spots. Quite a nice, local, green space.

Brad Warrior Fabulous place to walk the pooch when youre in Frankston. Monthly markets are held here, the Spring rolls, marvelous. The South Side Festival, we will see you again next year.

(300) Reviews Frankston Regional Foreshore Playground:

John Locke Children love playing in the playground. Parents chat, watch smartphones and have lunch on the chairs. Family friendly. There are swings, slides, BBQ equipment, public toilets and other facilities. Bring your kids to the beach, Frankston Pier, broad walk or a cafe after playing.
5 /5
Marcus Williams Well kept playground, the area is open and visible so you can easily keep an eye on your children (if you feel the need too). There are shaded areas with seating and BBQ area. Public toilet / changing facilities are less then a stone throw from the playground. Great place to stop by if the conditions are not good on Frankston beach front.
5 /5
Rintaro This park is great because it has so much playground equipment. It is especially fun to play on the large wooden deck with lots of equipment. I find the long mesh walkway very interesting. Also, the wooden rides are very stylish. I havent seen them in other parks, but they are very nice playground equipment. This park has BBQ facilities, restrooms, parking lots, and benches. There is also a pathway leading to the beach. It is a very beautiful and fun park.

Krispyn Brad (bRad) Great place to take the family, we love to come here at night to eat dinner and walk and play, and there are lots of lights around. The playground is humungous and lots of fun. And theres plenty of facilities around like BBQs and exercise equipment and its disability friendly. Go Frankston!

Pravin Charles Vaz Great playground for kids of all ages, has climbing activities , slides , swings and right next to the beach. Plenty of parking alongside the highway (paid). Toilets available.

Jade Green Great place for a quick run, nature walk, toddler wander etc. A few hills but nothing too steep, good views, no steep drop offs or sketchy bits. My toddler was able to do the whole loop on his own.
5 /5
Neil lovett One of the few absolute untouched native indigenous scrub and bush lands in frankston, the view from the lookout is magnificent :)
5 /5
Cain Smaller than some of the other reserves around, but still worth a visit. Has a great view from a lookout tower in the middle.
5 /5
Jim Bo Small reserve with some remnant coastal heathland vegetation and eucalyptus woodland. Platform in the middle provides a great view over Frankston and looking further West across the Bay to the You Yangs. A great time to visit is in early spring when the Wedding Bush is in bloom along Wedding Bush Way trail on the South side of reserve. Other than the viewing platform theres a few benches dotted throughout the reserve. Definitely no BBQs here, nearby Ballam Park has those.

Sahin Cinar Beautiful indigenous land only wish it was a bit better looked after please do not bring your pets through here as wildlife live here, Frankston council needs to cake more care and pride of this piece of land.
