2.Websters lookout

Address: Sorrento VIC 3943

(2) Reviews Websters lookout:

Chris Bray Great little walk off the main track down to Coppins Lookout, and even though Websters Lookout basically consists of a single park bench, it is worthwhile going there simply for the spectacular views across the peninsula. Very peaceful and you can sit and watch the ships in the bay on a clear day as well. Very easy sandy walk, suitable for everyone. And of course you simply have to get a good photo of the property at 231-237 Ocean Beach Road!!!

Andrew Penovic Websters lookout is a short 150 meter diversion from the upper trail to Coppins lookout. It provides great views over the township of Sorrento all the way accross from Port Phillip bay to the back beach.

Lea Comullo Hidden gem! Cant believe Ive never been here. Limited parking for seeing breath taking views. Today was sunny up to 30 degrees and beach was crowded, sea weeds visible. Beach is short walk from parking, alternate walking path takes longer and offers view of the beach from far and some rock formations.

Tahliya Pennicuik Gorgeous lookout and beach, parking is a bit small so if it’s busy it’s hard to park. I parked on the side of a random street and walked up but the views were beautiful.

Karthick Narayanan Kannan Unplanned trip, but worth it. I loved this place. Pleasant nature strip spread across the shore. View from Coppins is simply awesome.

Chris Bray Coppins Lookout is a short walk outside of Sorrento and well worth it. Many people visit Sorrento for its shops and restaurants, but the ocean side of the small town is spectacular and Coppins Lookout is a fantastic place to appreciate it from. Its an easy walk along a sandy track and has a pagoda style lookout which is quite a sight in its own right. Well worth the visit even if you are only there for a few minutes.
5 /5

YASSER JOURABCHIYAN A peaceful slice of paradise by the sea. Today, I had the pleasure of visiting Sorrento Park and it turned out to be one of the most refreshing and soul-soothing experiences I’ve had in Melbourne. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt calm and welcoming, with the sound of birds chirping and a light sea breeze brushing through the tall, beautiful trees. The view overlooking the ocean is absolutely breathtaking — a perfect blend of sky, sea, and nature. We walked along the garden paths surrounded by seasonal blooms, vibrant colors, and thoughtfully maintained greenery. There are plenty of benches to sit and take in the serenity, and I could see families enjoying picnics, couples taking photos, and kids running freely on the open grass. The park is not only scenic but also very clean and well-kept. You can truly feel that this place is loved by the community. If youre into photography, this place offers some fantastic golden hour shots, especially from the elevated points looking towards the coastline. We even caught a glimpse of the ferry crossing the water — it added a magical touch to the whole setting. Whether youre looking for a peaceful solo walk, a romantic outing, or a family-friendly escape, Sorrento Park delivers all of it and more. I highly recommend stopping by if you’re anywhere near the Mornington Peninsula. It’s a hidden gem that deserves more attention. I’ll definitely be coming back again.

David Spanola while energising crystals out off the rocks with the sobo abalone free diving club annual retreat - it was mentioned that space can be crumpled like a piece of paper into an infinitesimal dot, that time can be extinguished like a blown-out flame, and that the laws of physics that we regard as ‘sacred,’ as immutable, are anything but. so a pretty decent day out. makes you think

sarah rawsthnorne Yes, the car park is small, but its a very special place, great for kids or just to relax in the sun. we did see a tiger snake, but keep away from it, and it will stay away from you.

9.Coppins Track

Address: 82 Hughes Rd, Sorrento VIC 3943

Imges Coppins Track

(45) Reviews Coppins Track:

Mei Yew I find the 9.7km Coppins Track from Koonya Beach to the London Bridge lookout especially inviting!! Not only the track takes us ‘round the world’ through Bay of Islands, the Sphinx, Great Wall of China and London Bridge lookouts, the rugged landscape, the squeaky clean seaweeds and relatively shell free sand beach walk on some, and the height on other parts of the route allows one to enjoy the clarity of the water even more!! What an exquisite part of the world we live in? Covid pandemic restrictions really gave me opportunity to appreciate our our own backyards even more - safe and clean! How would like to end the day with a glass of bubbling beer on tap from our iconic St Andrew’s Beach Brewery on 160 Sandy Bay Rd, Fingal?

Icclisiastes KingSton Probably 1 of the best spots for a lazy surf always decent waves here, good spot for muscles when in season good spots to stand on rocks and fish off, and a decent spot to take the family. Mehdi Taheri Certainly a highlight and a must-see in Sorrento, on par with its beaches and cafes. The museum offers a concise yet insightful history of the area, with facilities and resources available for further research. The staff are passionate about Sorrento’s heritage—friendly, knowledgeable, and with a good sense of humour. While you’re there, don’t miss Watts’ Cottage, an original 1800s building that was relocated to this site for preservation.

Titch Moynihan Finally managed to visit this museum after many attempts and never finding it open. Its a fascinating place and the volunteer staff are super friendly and knowledgable. We particularly liked the video about the old tram, as we never knew before that it ran all the way to the back beach. Can definitely reccomend this for a visit and hope to come back again one day. Its also only $5 per adult, so well worth the money.
5 /5

12.Millionaires Walk

Address: Lentell Ave, Sorrento VIC 3943

() Reviews Millionaires Walk:

Gary Rowe Interesting, short walk on the clifftops of Portsea. Most millionaire’s homes can’t be seen due to high fences. Would have preferred a longer, more varied walk. Views to the bay are nice.
4 /5
Karen Rosauer A lovely & interesting walk, with beautiful cliff top views across the bay, some through trees, and walking close to large grand houses and properties - also very interesting. I gave a rating of 4 stars not 5, partly because the start of the walk at Lentell Avenue was tricky to find, with a high gate making it look like private property and no sign, other than to pick up your dog poop! The walk is easy - but a short section is sloped across grass & dirt without an exact track - so may not be suitable for some people with difficulties walking. At the Point King end, there is access to a lovely quiet beach area. It was also interesting looking at the artists train paintings along the way.
4 /5
Helen Stephens Easy and very scenic walk along the magnificent cliff tops, looking over the southern end of Port Phillip Bay.

Nook Nook Quick stop for photo spot at Point King. Water is super clear and you could spot little fish from the bridge.
