YASSER JOURABCHIYAN A peaceful slice of paradise by the sea.
Today, I had the pleasure of visiting Sorrento Park and it turned out to be one of the most refreshing and soul-soothing experiences I’ve had in Melbourne. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt calm and welcoming, with the sound of birds chirping and a light sea breeze brushing through the tall, beautiful trees.
The view overlooking the ocean is absolutely breathtaking — a perfect blend of sky, sea, and nature. We walked along the garden paths surrounded by seasonal blooms, vibrant colors, and thoughtfully maintained greenery. There are plenty of benches to sit and take in the serenity, and I could see families enjoying picnics, couples taking photos, and kids running freely on the open grass.
The park is not only scenic but also very clean and well-kept. You can truly feel that this place is loved by the community. If youre into photography, this place offers some fantastic golden hour shots, especially from the elevated points looking towards the coastline.
We even caught a glimpse of the ferry crossing the water — it added a magical touch to the whole setting. Whether youre looking for a peaceful solo walk, a romantic outing, or a family-friendly escape, Sorrento Park delivers all of it and more.
I highly recommend stopping by if you’re anywhere near the Mornington Peninsula. It’s a hidden gem that deserves more attention. I’ll definitely be coming back again.
