jerry Was not at all happy waiting 30 minutes past my check-in time. However the young lady Vanessa more than made up for it. She was great. Fantastic job on my haircut and beard. Very pleasant, professional and a nice personality.

David Candelaria Chantal is always so kind and polite. She always takes her time to make sure she gives me the perfect haircut. She keep the conversation going and that brings such comfort and make the time fly by.

Amanda Chavez Vanessa did an absolute wonderful job on cutting my curls! I was nervous but she did wonderful! My hair looks fuller, and she kept length! She also cut my teen’s hair with a cute trim and layers! She loves her cut!

LLB purch I recently went to Great Clips for the first time. I needed not only to shorten my hair but also to improve the shape of the haircut. My previous haircut elsewhere left my hair looking unbalanced. Imelda did my haircut. First, she told me what she proposed to do during the cut and asked me if I would be okay with that. Each step of the cut, Imelda told me what she was doing and asked if I was okay with it. The finished product was great! I will definitely ask for Imelda the next time I get my haircut!

Chelsea Henson The stylist Heidi messed up my bangs she cut them too short even though she said she would do them below my eyebrows and then she cut them really crooked and messed up the sided my last banges were face framing and she cut too far to the side and left random long pieces. It was cheap but it was a horrible experience I didnt say anything there because I didnt realize how bad it was till I tried styling them.

Shawn Miller My wife took her son in for his 1st haircut ever. The lady, I cant remember her name, was very patient with him & accommodating to my wife. She made sure he was comfortable & she talked him through everything she was doing. She cut a lock for my wife to keep & the other hair stylist put in a bag for her. Was a great experience,professional, clean, polite & outright pleasant.

Alvaro Martin Sorry but this is sort of a complaint. In my opinion your best hairstylist is Corina. She used to work weekends or at least Sundays and recently with all the changes and I guess new manager.. her schedule is different. Please give her weekends please! Im particular with my haircuts but she always gives the perfect cut.

Laura Pineda Krystal did an amazing job, she was patient and kind. She cut my 7 year olds hair and did an amazing job, 10/10 recommend her!

Steven was amazing and patient with my son and not to mention he had a great set of super quiet clippers. I had not been able to get him to sit for a barber in the past 4years but today we were successful. We will definitely be coming back to see you regularly Steven, thank you!

#WWG1WGA #Epsteindidntkillhimself Theyve got 7 barbers, 2 walk ins ahead of me, its been 1.5 hours, and still havent been helped. One barber did a simple fade for a childs head and it took him an hour. Straight faded? Maybe. Straight Turtle. Definitely.

Vivi Ima keep it real, I scheduled my husbands appointment because I read on the reviews that it would be much easier and more convenient, it wasn’t. My husband was not called to the barber’s chair until 30 minutes later, why have someone schedule an appointment if they will still have to wait. My husband didn’t say nothing because he’s nicer than I am. Not just that he took so long on his haircut my husband ended up leaving the barber shop almost 2 hours after his scheduled appointment. My husband and I had plans but had to be rearranged because the barber couldn’t keep his 1 hour appointment accordingly. I also assumed that he would walk out with a rocking haircut at least, nope he didn’t even line him up or nothing. We definitely ain’t going back.

Cesar Lopez Im not from the area so I wasn’t too sure where to get a haircut so I came here to Straight Faded after google recommended it. I made an appointment first about a couple hours before since I was driving up here from L.A. Amazing haircut! Ivan was my guy and he did a fantastic job. He took his time and really paid attention to detail. One of the cleanest fades I have received. Plus the barbershop is really clean and well maintained. Would highly recommend coming over here for a haircut if you’re in the area.

Rick Grobart Just got out of the chair...and should probably set the stage a bit. I travel nearly constantly and try to get a straight razor shave whenever I can on the road. It relaxes me and I get to pickup a little local chatter. And so I found myself at Straight Faded today. Called at 11 and they were booked until 1:20. I was a few minutes early and when I came through the door a barber looks up at me, says "You Rick?". I nod that I was, and he tells me hes Eddy and hell be ready on time. And he was. But he wasnt just ready on time, he was ready to give me a proper shave - head, face, neck. This kid wasnt just an ordinary barber... He was the Mexican Michelangelo, the Picaso of Lapinta, the TaLousse La-Trec of Tullare.... He spent over an hour working on me, making sure he didnt miss a spot. Went over the same spot a few times "just to be sure". And he prepped me with some sort of steam gadget Ive never seen before, and probably ruined me for all other shaves. The kid was top shelf, the Straight Fade staff was friendly, and the environment was really laid back. Ill be back for more the next time Im in town. (and get your girl in some more classes Eddy! Itll pay off for her in the long term, I promise)

Kevin Hennessee We are in town from South Lake Tahoe for a baseball tournament. We got two hair cuts Luis took care of our 7 yr old and keno took care of our 14 yr old. They were both AMAZING. Both boys came out looking sharp. The owner is on site and is very personable. If we lived here we definitely would be regulars. What a great place with welcoming people .

I chose a fade high and tight, training my hair for a pompador style. I recommend him. He was very knowledgeable. The shop was nice and clean. Ill be going back soon!

Tina I really wanted to like this place and I would love to be giving it a better review but I can’t. I purchased a Father’s Day gift certificate about a week or so before and I went in and talked to the owner who informed me that my dad would receive a hot towel shave service which is what was requested by me. It is also advertised on their website as a hot towel shave. Fast forward to the day of his appointment. He didn’t get in the chair on time and was at least 15 mins before he was seated. He did NOT receive any hot towel or shave. Hair clippers were used to trim his beard, and they said they “were out of hot towels” it was 1:30 on a Friday. Also he said his hair was way too short and it all just felt very rushed. My dad was really looking forward to his Father’s Day pampering and hot towel shave. His experience was not a good one and he was told next time he could have a hot towel. I tried calling and no one answered so I left a voicemail asking them to call me back to discuss it. Never received a phone call back. Sadly we will never be back and I honestly wouldn’t recommend it to any of my friends or family.

Valdez Greg (Method) Had me and my son get haircuts here for awhile since my girl knew about her from years back. She would cut my hair alright never great. I’ve called and made appointments and still have to wait a hour for the appointment. Now to the bigger issue my son is autistic she’s been cutting his hair for years and he’s gotten worse each time we go crying and screaming. She wants us to hold him down and just go over his hair one time with one size clip. I asked can you try to at least even it up make it look better this time and she said no he moves. No patience or confidence in this lady. We went to another salon now the lady said she can tell he’s traumatized from his experiences with the other lady. That you have to show the kids especially autistic kids that it won’t hurt, never hold them down just be patient and get them use to it. She cut his hair alittle not much but told us she will cut his hair free until it is cut right and will work with him to get him use to haircuts the right way and show him it’s not scary. She had a beautiful personality working with my child and was very patient.

Noemi Quezada Beat the rush and schedule your appointment or call ahead to beat the rush. I’ve had my hair done by amelia’s sister in law and so has my sister. Super efficient and full of experience. Definitely someone you can trust your look to when it comes to you hair!

Ashley Burrola i went in with an ombré in my hair asking for burgundy all the same color and she told me she would need to put toner in my hair to lighten the top just a little bit. She didn’t lighten my brown hair to match my blonde tips whatsoever she just went straight to dying it all red. When she was finished my roots came out orange the middle of my hair was STILL dark brown and the very bottom was bright red. She told me she wouldn’t be able to fix it til the following Monday. Whatever she used in my hair irritated my skin. I had the worst experience!

Chris Hellproof Reslly disappointed after reading a few good reviews of what belong to a small group of family and friends. I went in asking for red in the top of my head it a tip dye job. I didnt have a problem with the fact it was hard to communicate with the lady doing the job because the owner took over and her English was much better. 1. I ask for tips or just the top of my head to be done. -They put dye over my whole head. 2. I asked for a reddish brown color and for it be close to my natural hair color. -I wish I could attach photos to show you my head is now orange. 3. I asked for my hair to be cut a certain way she did it another. - I will never be back. I have an apt meeting Monday that is out of town, so there is no time nor chance to fix this. So since they messed up my entire head they can deal with this review. 4. I believe everyone despite color, gender, race or whatever should have an opportunity here in America. However, you should be able to properly communicate with your patrons. Your mistakes have caused me a lot of stress to where I am doing my best to be positive however I am beyond upset. And I will never come back, I have no faith you can fix this after 2.5 hrs of nothing but stress.

Jaimie Richmond We booked an appointment online for pedicures. On the website it lists multiple manicure and pedicure services and lets you book appointments for these. When we showed for our appointment, the person working said they do not even have a manicurist on location and that the owner has been notified of what the website offers but refuses to do anything about it. I am really disappointed in this business. I am 8 months pregnant and made a point to get up early and get to this appointment with my daughter. It is a shame that this business cannot extend the same value for professionalism (and for a persons time) to its clients simply because the owner does not want to update a website.

Cassidy Stedman I came in for a trim. The clothing cover he put on me was covered in lint and stuck all over my work clothes. He poked me in the eye twice and scraped my nose with the comb. I had previously had an undercut and now that he’s trimmed my hair you can see my undercut peaking under. My trim is choppy and he tried to blame it on my under cut. He also had me stand up the last couple minutes of my haircut. He told me so he can make sure it’s straight. Which it isn’t. Layers under neath should always be shorter than the top layer to prevent random hairs from sticking out. Very dissatisfied.

Made an appointment online scheduled me at 5pm but when I showed up place was closed (even though they close at 6)with a sign on the door stating to make an appointment (which I had already done) had numbers to call so I called and I got no response from either. Go somewhere else where your time is valued.

Rachel Williams I walked in and was asked how they could help me. I told them I was looking at what service they had since it was my first time there. The man rudely responded: "Well, this is a spa." I hesitated because of his tone and response but still was pleasant with the rude man. 1) He needs to know that not all places offer the same services... 2) I then asked about their nails services and he told me they couldnt do that yet because of covid. Umm... do you not realize the irony? Why the rude response when you dont offer full services right now? The man was not wanting to help at all. I then asked about a haircut and he said he was booked for awhile. He did not bother to see if anyone else was available and did not even offer to say how far out awhile meant. I had to ask him about how long that was. I was unfortunate enough to be there when another person walked in that does haircuts. I made an appointment with her for 4:30 and was told that I would get a call to come back in. I never got a call. I waited 30 minutes after my appointment time before calling because I know covid regulations makes salons sanitize between customers and I didnt want to bug them if they were busy. It was around 5 that I called and left a message. I knew my appointment was at 4:30, so I was already in the area and had been for the past hour. Instead of waiting for a call back, I drove by the store to find it empty! I couldnt believe my eyes so I tried to go up to the door and open it. Sure enough they had closed early and didnt bother to even call me. This place is very unprofessional and the good reviews are misleading...

Jim has come to our work to give back massages to support staff! Vicky has tattooed my eyeliner perfectly!! Eyelashes are amazing everytime I leave! Been a faithful client for years!!! Love this place!
