John Locke Surprisingly, there are few people in this tourist attraction. Local cyclists and families are seen. Therefore, this place is good for you to watch the appealing sunset and the stars at night and study the emu, sunbathe or play sports in the grass.

Michael Cooke Great to see traditional stories and indigenous history being shared here
5 /5
J.G. Lee Great sunset view!
5 /5
Sean Nairn Spiritual map of the constellations visible from this location, in the form of an emu. There are some interpretative signs that explain the stars and how they come together to represent the emu. Easy to view as you walk along the Bay Walk between Brighton and St Kilda.
5 /5
Jak Grimm Lovely place to sit and watch the sea and enjoy the views of the city.

Ritchie William Iconic foreshore trail offering bother bike and scooter paths and a seperate pedestrian paths, to enjoy the beautiful Melbourne coast line, with cafes and cool look outs and rest rooms along the way, Most flat for a easy enjoy walk, run or ride, Great spot to catch the sunrise or sunset over the Melbourne coast line and city line, Would recommend

Tony John Great views of the city and Brighton bathing boxes. The trail extends from Mordialloc to Port Melbourne, some of the bike path is shared with pedestrians so care needs to be taken particularly on weekends with fine weather as many people dont look as they enter the path. I ride on different parts of the path 4 - 5 times a week.

Assaf Stiven M Growing up means to get to know yourself better, be more honest with yourself and in most occasions, familiar with the things that make you feel good. I love this trail. First-line to the water, many magical spots in the way. You can grab a coffee, walk, run, enjoy the view, meditate or just be. As always in amazing Melbourne, it is well maintained and free.
5 /5
Maria Ngo A beautiful picturesque trail with well made walking and cycling tracks. On a calm weather day with a bit of sun, this area is absolutely perfect. Melbourne has some of the prettiest beaches with great patches of sand between sunbaking groups. But ssshhh... We should keep this our secret for as long as we can. There are drinking fountains, public toilets as well as bin stations along here. It is very well equipped for the perfect days outing.
5 /5
Carmen Leong A great trail by the Bay. There’s a walking track and a cycling track. Great views of the city. Lots of places to stop and explore.

Juan Diego Arcuri Amazing views from this point, and beautiful place to relax in the grass under the sun. You are very close to Lifesavers houses by foot and you can park straight there in the parking spot paying meter.
5 /5
Lochy Bradley First time driving to Brighton and discovered this awesome little spot by the beach. Carpark with metre parking. Icecream truck. Plenty of paths along the esplanade above and along closer to the water and sand. Would have loved a path closer to the beach that goes along to the beach huts. But still a very cool spot full of shade spots and seats and benches for relaxing and socialising.
5 /5
Jill Wat Beautiful little beach. Attended a sound healing and ecstatic dance event here and it was really fun! Just a beautiful little setting! Clean and cute! Good view of the city and coast line.
5 /5
Priscilla Jacob We had picnic on the cliff edge and it was so lovely. The views are gorgeous and you can see the city skyline from there in the distance. It can get pretty windy and cold so take a jacket. It seems like a great spot for wind surfing as there were plenty of people doing that. Theres lots of parking and a few benches for seating.
5 /5
Haohan Liu Great area with wonderful views. Parking nearby can be a bit pricy so its generally a good idea to park at the train station and walk over. The park is well maintained and the beachside has good views of both the Melbourne skyline and all the ships in the bay. Good spot for a picnic or relaxing walk.

My Hobby Nest Beautiful place to visit in Melbourne. These Bathing boxes were so colorful. It wasn’t so busy when we came. It was in the middle of the week. We stayed until sunset.
5 /5
Laura Riehl The boxes are nice but most likely it will be very crowded of you come on the weekend. It’s hard to take photos without other people in the picture. I recommend to come in the morning or during the week when it’s less busy. There is a restaurant and surf club with public toilets at the north end.
3 /5
michael jiang Beautiful and calm, we got lucky with very warm weather in mid April. Crystal clear waters!
5 /5
AALIYAH and SOFINA VENGLY H Beautiful view nice breeze . There a park along the street and also in the place .
4 /5
Shiel Tagaro super love the place and cute design of Brighton’s bathing boxes but due to public holiday there were so many people when we got there! must bring also water and food, and also a blanket if you are planning to stay for a long time coz no nearest store in the area. recommended place! also no tickets were bought that time.

(1141) Reviews Elsternwick Park:

Love Cats This park is fantastic! It offers something for everyone: a large playground for kids, a shaded BBQ area, and a spacious field perfect for family touch football or group gatherings. There are walking paths for strolling with your pet and plenty of benches scattered throughout the park for relaxing. A beautiful lake and abundant wildlife add to the natural charm, and the atmosphere is welcoming with friendly people passing by. The park is also filled with trees, providing clean, fresh air. The only downside is that one of the restrooms is currently blocked and in very poor condition.
4 /5
Kylie Palmer Great size off lead dog park. The dog owners are responsible and care about your space. You can let your dog GO to run through both big ovals or just walk the tracks around the premises. Great pond with lots of ducks and new enclosed playground area for children.
5 /5
Lucy McGown This is the absolute best park if you have dogs, especially energetic dogs! So much space for them to run around and usually plenty of other dogs around to play with. Theres also two playgrounds, toilets, undercover BBQ area, skatepark and pond!
5 /5
Sam Keir There today for 10k charity walk. Bizarrely dont think Id ever really walked around this park, just driven past it multiple times. Anyway lots of beautiful greenery like all Melbourne parks have and the obligatory public art.

Yolanda A super cute and colourful place! Each bathing box has its own unique style and artwork. Perfect for photos. The best part was catching a stunning sunset over the beach. Such a relaxing and charming spot. Highly recommended for a walk and some great shots!
5 /5
Juan Diego Arcuri Iconic place to spend the day, not only taking pictures but also staying having picnic or a coffee. The beach is more beautiful than St Kilda or other beaches around in Melbourne. In my case I went with my own car but you can also come by bus or train, is not necessary to buy tickets!!
5 /5
S KC Pretty colourful old beach huts (82 of them) on display, which were apparently built in 90s for women to get changed into their swimmers. Not sure if that still serves the same purpose apart from being a very popular tourist destination. The huts stretch along the beach, and you could enjoy a view of the Melbourne high rises. There are limited and ticketed car parking spots available as well as toilet and a good cafe.
4 /5
Hiromi I explored the iconic and colorful wooden beach huts of Brighton (There are 96 of them!) . Surprisingly, these historic gems have been standing strong since the early 1900s! Each one is like a little piece of art and cute. The ocean was  beautiful, and the sound of the waves was soothing. I have visited several times. Worth visiting. Highly recommended.
5 /5
Clairen Cook Fun colors! The beach is nice to walk along. Good for a casual Saturday afternoon out. If its possible to book a bathing house, I think that would have been more fun than just looking at them.

George Krabs Been coming here for fishing since I was a kid Brought my 10 year old son 25 years ago who landed a probable record of over 130 flathead in one night with most released of course Have also caught squid, Whiting, Snapper, Elephant fish, Gars, Leather jackets Its an awesome place with parking a kiosk and fish n chips shop nearby
5 /5
Sam Keir Nice to take walk along pier, admiring boats in marina, city views, dogs running on the beach and more.
4 /5
Hamish John Appleby Some people wait so long for their ship to come in, their pier collapses - Thankfully, this is not the case today - as the vital repairs to help extend the life of Middle Brighton Pier and preserve its heritage values are now complete. - It is now possible to stroll out to the end. The pier is part of the Middle Brighton Harbour Precinct - with the historic Brighton Sea baths and cafe adjoining on left. - A great place to breathe some salty fresh air, clear the mind or sit and read some Camus or Hemingway in the warm sun. The kind of place Anthony Bourdain would have fondly spoken of... Hamish John Appleby // APPLEBY PHOTOGRAPHY

Michelle Sandy Our happy place. Lots of space for off lead dog walking. Lots of waste stations with doggy bags. Plenty of shade in summer. Just wonderful.
5 /5
Sam Keir Fantastic place to take kids. Has 3 kids playgrounds (the main large Dendy Play area, toddler area and one piece equipment on Cummins Road side) and really really popular. Dont forgot to take cash for the ice-cream van (like I did). Also dotted throughout park fitness equipment, painted bright orange so you cant miss. Dendy Park is an off leash park but pity of the 99% of dog owners who do the right thing always the odd one who doesnt (even with the bins and bags Dendy Park provides). Path for joggers and walkers to follow, or not, of course! 5.2 so lovely on a sunny Saturday afternoon and place packed with dogs and their owners, such a great off-leash park. This really is a great park for families and thank goodness they now have bathrooms! 12.12 fireworks! Last year cancelled, thankfully weather OK for tonight.
5 /5
Daniel Bronsema Great park for running. Some gentle slopes and a perfect 2km loop. Dogs are often off lead so watch out for wandering paws.
5 /5
Kerbray Pleasant area to take your dog for a walk or run. Huge off leash and on leash areas, and plenty of other dogs to socialise with. Amenities includes toilet facilities, BBQ areas and several car parks with ample space for the most part. Theres also a childrens play area thats quite large and sports facilities. Grass and park is well maintained and theres a dedicated circular path around some of the park. Can get busy on the weekends or when theres organised events, but a pleasant place for the dogs nonetheless!
5 /5
Hormesis Dendy park is a large park with a large grassy area, dog off leash, children playgrounds. There are also exercise machines all around dendy park. Great park to enjoy for chilling out, with your children or practising sports.

John Love this park. The white picketed cricket/footy oval turns into the best dog park in Brighton ... lots and lots of friendly dogs and even friendlier owners, beautiful surface and lots of parking. Kids can play on small basketball court or on the slides etc. This is the best place to bring your 4 legged friend for a run and a catch up with the other canine characters in the area. Highly recommended!!
5 /5
Jamie Christensen Great park with a lot of space, there’s a gated area for dogs and a playground
5 /5
Nick Price Omve they have completed the regen of the oval, it should be back to its best. Have doubts on the contractor undertaking the correct drainage works required to stop the Nth are becoming a quagmire in Winter, and the Southern area Tree root protection works.
