Liliana Dominguez Im in the national guard and really needed to get my nails shortened. My sister scheduled an appointment over the phone for us. We drive out from Los Baños (1 hr drive) and were so excited. Space is so beautiful and we sit down, the girl looks at my nails and looks at me. Says they dont do acrylic, I say thats fine just remove the fill and Ill be fine with gel. She says she cant because theres not enough time? Its 70 mins before they close. She said removing the fill counts as 1 service and the actual manicure is separate. Bare in mind, I have to guide the conversation. She isnt freely explaining anything to me. I had to ask all the right questions to get answers from the worker or else I wouldve sat in more awkward silence. They didnt offer us any credit or any apology or any rescheduling. We told them it took us an hour to get to our appointment and they didnt care. Gave 2 stars for the space. O for the service.

Lace Padilla I just received an excellent massage from Nancy! Ive been going to a place in Fresno for the last year, as I didnt realize there were comparable services in Merced. I was thrilled to find that Nancy was fantastic and could help me with areas my prior massage therapist didnt notice. Im excited to have regular bodywork closer to home and of higher quality. I also love that I can book services online.

Vanessa Iniguez I had a wonderful first time visit. I had a pedicure with Mackenzie and she was wonderful! Very fun lovely person. I enjoyed the pedicure very much. The spa is very beautiful inside, feels refreshing and airy. They have a lot of jewelry, hair products and accessories, candles and beautiful gift options inside as well. I highly recommend if you want to feel relaxed and at home at a salon/spa.

Heidi Lockhart Wonderful first time experience today at UN.Ravel salon!!! I got a pedicure and then spent 30 minutes shopping afterwards. It was such a vibe. If you’re looking for a place to do it all (facials, pedicures, nails, hair..) this is YOUR place!!

Catherine Chang The ladies here were very sweet! Got my eyebrows threaded and they were so sweet and asked if I liked them or wanted them or be a certain way or more even. They’re sweet and I’d definitely go here again.

Reyna Travesia She doesn’t know how to do your hair especially with my extensions cuz I have to use stuff in my hair right now because of how bad the glue of the extensions was and I would take a shower Every day so please I recommend to not go there because she will mess up your hair!!! And I payed $580 dollars for my hair to get messed up

Francia Hurtado When you go for the first time and someone is very friendly and they answer you very despotically. Please, if you dont have patience with the children, why do they move much better, dont commit to cutting their hair. Its the first time I went and I didnt like how They treated my 5-year-old boy and he himself said I dont want to go anymore, it scared me anyway, thank you for your service.

Angela Ling Just got my hair cut here the other day and it went really well for an affordable price! I called and made an appointment (it wasn’t busy when I went though) and Thuy cut my hair. She evened out my hair (I had cut it at home to a bit past shoulder length) and gave me long layers, face framing strands and thinned out the ends, and I think it looks great! She made sure she was doing what I wanted throughout the process and asked me questions before cutting. Just a note: if you go in the near future (I’m writing this Sep. 2022), make sure to bring cash because their payment systems will be down for a bit

Lady Dee Two Cee Cee I normally don’t do reviews but I felt this one was needed. After over a year, I convinced my kid to get his hair cut. Normally, he goes with his dad and this time I went along. I think her name was Deb she was the red head in there at the time. She wasn’t friendly to begin with. I specifically showed her a picture of what we wanted and she didn’t even come close. She literally butchered my kids hair. Before I said anything I asked my kid if he liked it, he said yes. I had my husband take him outside while I paid. I told her the only reason I’m paying is because he likes it and let her know if she didn’t know how to do the style she should have said so. That it was nothing like the picture. She said once it dried it would be. It wasn’t! After we left, my kid said he didn’t like it but there was no point to say anything since it was pretty much cut off already. He usually has Alisha cut his hair but my husband did not realize she was in there at the time. Never again will she touch my kids hair!

Michael Layne I just got a haircut and I really enjoyed my time there. The stylist was very friendly and did a great job, I will definitely return there in a few months to see her.

Luke Smith I have been using it for years. It works most of the time, but the greatest challenge is that the stylists are changing all the time, and you have no control on who you will see. I encountered an inexperienced one and messed my hair.

Mary Garcia I will never return due to their unprofessionalism and lack of empathy for children. This is not the first time something has happened in this place. I feel discriminated for beig latina, but this time I brought my 3-year-old son in for a haircut, and the lady who helped us was not empathetic at all. She had a very bad attitude, and some of the other workers were making faces. When my son asked for a lollipop, she rudely replied, “No, it’s only one for a child.” This was confusing since another lady had already given him one while we were waiting for our turn. My son became very upset and started crying, but the lady didn’t care; she just walked away, being very rude. I understand that they have rules, but if thats the case, why do they have the lollipops on the counter where children can reach them? They should just keep them hidden.

Sheree Condie *blink blink* My husband took our daughter to get her hair cut and this is what he came back with- and this is after he pointed it out and she “fixed it” We’ve never had a problem taking our kids to great clip or salons like it…. Thankfully she’s a kid and doesn’t care. I can fix it. But if I were someone caring how my hair comes out after getting it cut, I’d skip great clips.

I also go to Dominique to get my eyebrows done and each time she does them I feel like a new woman. Last but not least, Brenda gives the best massages + cupping. She knows the body so well I leave standing taller and so relaxed.

Arcey Velasco Crissy is my hairstylist and she is literally the best!! I always walk out looking amazing! The vibes in the salon are so welcoming and comforting. Everyone definitely needs to be serviced at this salon. No matter who you see you won’t be disappointed! ❤️

Tina Norman This was the worst experience Ive ever had at a Nail Salon. My sisters nails and my own are all uneven, have bubbles in them, look like they already need a fill, AND they are also ALL lean to the side!! Not only was she face timing someone the while service. She was sooo rude!! Word to the Wise...Go Anywhere but here! I was told by her that she was the owner. Im so disappointed I wish I can give them a negative star!

Phyllis Me Camilla was very gentle and gave reasonable prices. I enjoyed her soothing music and a massage while drying my hair. She listens to what I wanted and I love my hair color and cut.

Al Lesca On Saturdays this place closes early although it is advertised they close at 6 pm. Make sure you arrive at least one hour (just for a hair cut) before 3:00 pm otherwise you will be turned away. I arrived at 2:30 pm and I was told it was too late. It seems people there do not want to do their job. I understand they also have a life but in the business industry is important to have a good reputation and if you do not want to work on weekends just do not open. They claim "walk- is are welcomed" but that is not the case. It is incredible how customers and their money are not appreciated in this hard times especially for businesses.

Sexy I get mine and my boys haircut here. Nora cuts our hair. Been going to her for over 15 years. She does great haircuts for $15. So call and make an appointment with Nora.

spoild trinity I dont have much money and I been to a couple places n people want to charge 30 or more for jus reg French tip nails. I am a cashier and a co worker told me she gets her nails done here n to get them done by kim so I thought I give it a shot and at 25.00. N since I have got them done 1st time I have e gotten a compliment from a customer where I didnt when I got my nails done at venus nails in Atwater by savemart. That place is awful. They dont talk to you so ur sitting there feeling awkward n bored. If u get the guy who does nails he will b pushy n practically hurt u. She at least talks to u. N when she does the nails she does a extra step where the venus place didnt. I highly recommend this place

Bertha Alexander If I could give a no star I would. I went there because I had been there before. But things have changed. Do not go there! I had my hair done by Maricela. I had blonde hair when I went in and just wanted a few low lights. Half way through I asked her if my hair was too dark. She said no. I reminded her that I liked the blonde I came in with. Then we went to the sink to wash with purple shampoo and some guy off the street without an appointment walks in. She cut his hair and left me there for 40 minutes. The guy said hey is that lady ok? You could come back to me. She said oh she’s fine! She didn’t even ask me how I was. My neck was sore. Once she came back to me it was way too dark. Next day I text her and no response. Then I showed up and she was doing someone else’s hair. She indicated she has no time to do anything for me. I called the owner and she gave me someone else’s number. Save yourself some unnecessary drama. There is a reason the others left and didn’t take her with them. I hesitated to post this, but I feel people need to be aware.

karina avila I had gonna back twice Theses 2 time we’re alright . And this was my third time going i wanted To dye my hair for a long time and I didn’t know where to go so I went there because the other 2 time I went I liked how the did my. Hair and on. My third time. Going I wanted. to get a balayage hair dye and this is what I got They charged me $150 for this When they were donde i didn’t said nothing because I’m not that type of person makes problems

Happy World Expensive for just a simplest male haircut. It took around 10 minutes, and they charged me $25. Other places keep from $15-$20. Also I asked for a price chart, but they didnt show me. Rather they were asking me about the type of service I want, then they will inform the price verbally. I was mainly asking that for my friends so that I can inform them. I would strongly suggest them to keep different services and their prices to make clearly visible. That should be placed in the cashier front service in bigger, so that customers can decide about services they will request, after seeing the prices.

Raini Day Got a lovely haircut from Arcadia shes super nice, easy to chat with and takes her time to perfect exactly what you want done. I got a big chop and lots of layers for a shaggy look it came out amazing even better than I couldve asked for. My style definitely isnt everyones cup of tea, but she has also cut my moms hair before and it came out just as great!! She styled it too but I did mess with it so its a little flat in the photo but the layers are awesome trust me!!!!

Diana Reyes I went to go get my highlights done and I asked the hairstylist guy if he is able to do the hair highlights I wanted or similar. I even showed hi a picture of the the color I wanted. I was there for 5 hours and when the hair was done it was horrible. I tried to explain to him this isn’t what I wanted but he insisted that it was what i wanted. He completely ignored me and just gave me a discount cause I didn’t like it. He never asked me to fix the hair. And another worker told him that he had done a great job! And I told her I wasn’t happy with my hair but nobody offered me another option which was to fix it. I felt like it was very unprofessional of them and I’m not happy with what they did because I had to pay the total price for a terrible job. I will never get my hair done here and I don’t recommend this place. I felt like I waisted my time trying to tell them what I wanted, they could’ve just told me they weren’t able to do it and I could’ve saved myself my time and money .
