Maureen Casey I’ve been coming to Capelli Capelli since it opened in the early 2000’s. Natalie is incredible at cutting, coloring and styling hair. I have blonde, fine hair and the highlights are always so natural looking and the cut is always just what I want. Natalie and her sister, Annette, are extremely knowledgeable about the products they sell and always recommend products to keep my hair looking nice when I’m away from the salon! She is accommodating with scheduling, their salon is immaculate and their pricing is fair. Both Annette and Natalie are always up-to-date with all the new products and techniques from top hair stylists and hair product companies. Laura Johnson Ashley is the best! I have been going to her for years. She is my hair guru. Knowledgeable about the chemistry and science behind hair coloring and beyond. Coconut Information Dropped in to this beautiful salon today during my vacation in carmel. Left with one of best haircuts of my life! If u want a great mens scissor cut this place will not disappoint you! Lovely couple owners & operators made me feel at home. Highly recommend!

Roxy L Ashley is amazing!! She just totally transformed my messed up (home cut) bangs back into precise, blunt, Bettie Page bangs I was looking for! She revamped my dry, stringy layers that weren’t working to revive my hair into a cute shorter cut with subtle blended layers that work great for my waves and for styling it in retro/rockabilly styles. She’s a haircutting goddess and is also so personable and fun and smart, a total blast to talk to. I’m new to town and I wasn’t sure where to go, but I’m so glad I found Salon Medusa!!

Allison Adair I went to The Salon and Spa Carmel for the first time today. I saw Katie and she was super sweet. She greeted me with a big smile and made me feel really welcome. She was really professional in a I could totally see myself being friends with this person kind of way. She asked about my skin care routine and any the concerns I have like break outs and dryness. Then she set to work customizing my treatment. The whole experience was super relaxing and I will definitely go back again.

Susie Ward I cant say enough positive things about my experience at Salon California. My hair stylist had cancelled on me last minute before my wedding and I was able to squeeze in to see Tina for a trial and updo on my big day. Tina is amazing to work with! She is talented, accommodating, and just the sweetest person. The salon itself has a very tranquil and calming vibe which I needed before the big event. I absolutely loved my hair! I have a lot of hair and it was so comfortable and wore really well despite me running around, dancing, and our wedding being 100% outside. I cant recommend Tina and Salon California enough!

C. Tyler Jeffers Went into Carmel’s Barber on a whim while on vacation. I met Jerry and set-up an appointment for a little later in the day. My hair is long and I’ve struggled with it, Jerry knew exactly what to do with it. Something told me I was in the right place and the cut I received proved it. Robb Lovelace Was in desperate, desperate need of a haircut (length was out of control). Walked into Jerry’s without an appointment and was very kindly accepted. With the amount of hair he had to chop off, he knocked it out of the park. Gave me the cut that I didn’t even know I had needed - it had been that long since my last cut. Very friendly and professional. You won’t be disappointed by the result.

Kelsey Costello Katlyn and her team worked their magic for the hair and makeup for my wedding in July! Katlyn was super kind and accommodating when scheduling my hair and makeup trial, and did her best to make sure I looked how I wanted to for my wedding! On the day of, her and her team were able to complete a variety of looks including my wavy half-up look, all four bridesmaids with twisted messy low buns, big beach waves for my sister in law, and voluminous half-up looks for the moms, with a more natural/soft glam makeup look! They were kind and patient when asked for minor changes. It all looked gorgeous in person and on camera! Not only did our hair and makeup look beautiful, but it stayed for the whole night! I am not kidding you, our hair and makeup DID NOT MOVE even after sweating and dancing until midnight! My sister in law and I still talk about asking them about the hairspray that they use because my hair notoriously does not hold curls very well, and my waves stayed all night without feeling crunchy. Katlyn and her team did wonderful work, and I am so happy to have found them!

Hilke Bohannan 9 months ago I got a horrible balayage from a different stylist in a different state. I reached out to Caitlyn and told her my dilemma, and she invited me to her salon for a treatment. I showed her a couple of older photos of my hair when it was healthy and asked her to restore it as best she could. We spent several hours in the chair getting to know each other while she worked on my hair. Caitlyn is personable, genuine and really good at what she does. She’s a wholehearted professional who made me feel comfortable the whole time. When she turned the chair around I got to see her hair art talent. I HIGHLY recommend Evole Salon!

Daisy is not only incredibly kind and professional but also deeply knowledgeable about skincare. After seeing a promo, I decided to try the Guasha facial treatment and added on dermaplaning. As someone with very sensitive skin, I really appreciated how Daisy took the time to understand my skin’s needs and was so gentle throughout the entire process. I’ve had facials all over Northern California but none have compared to the top-notch service I received at Evolve. I highly recommend Daisy and Evolve to anyone looking to treat themselves (or a friend) to an outstanding skincare experience! I will definitely be back to explore the other services they offer as well. Daisy also does lashes, and her work is absolutely beautiful!

Presley Thach I asked for a trimming, I got a fleecing. While staying in Carmel by the Seas I went to March Hare for a quick hair trim in the middle of our vacation. I specifically asked if they could trim my hair in 20 minutes. They assured me that they could. For five minutes the stylist washed my hair, rubbed my scalp and gave me some aroma to inhale. For the next 15 minutes, she used a pair of scissors to trim my hair and hair clippers to trim my sideburns. In exactly twenty minutes, as requested, I was charged $65.00. Shame on me for not asking the price before requesting the service

Tyler Wagner Full disclosure: my aunt owns the salon. But I have my own opinions. March Hare is a lovely, small Aveda salon. If you want a relaxing hair styling experience with wash, essential oils, and the price to go with it - then this is absolutely the place to go. If you want a cheap cut or barber, this is not the place for you. Leti cut my hair, and was attentive, responded to my feedback, and took the time to do a good job. The best stylists have attention to detail like hers. I would see her again.

K Strickland This was my first time going to Yongsun’s Beauty. I had a cut and color. Yongsun was welcoming and listened to my hair needs. She expertly recommended an approach that helps to blend by my gray with color in a way that is not ashy. Great cut. Nice salon with range of hair care products. Pricing structure is similar to other salons in the area. It also is located in a nice shopping center with plenty of parking.

Michaella Borges I have been coming to Yongsun for a while now, and I am always impressed by the results she gets. She has changed my hair color and hair style several times by now, and each time I keep getting more and more compliments. I am always looking forward to my next visit and experiment. Also, she cuts my hair in a way that it grows out naturally, and I can go longer between hair cuts than I could with my prior stylists, I noticed this difference right away. I highly recommend her, you wont be disappointed!

Shannon Finnigan I went to Kassidy because I wanted a low-maintenance way to keep my hair looking great without damaging it more with constant coloring. She suggested using weft extensions for volume and adding lowlights to maintain blonde dimension. The color matching was spot on, and everything looks so natural. Kassidy did an amazing job, and I’m so happy with the results! She’s also super sweet and always happy to answer any questions, making the whole process so easy. Can’t wait for my next appointment!

I’ve had her do everything from color, cuts, to smoothing treatments, and our newest experiment with my hair: extensions! I even have my mom going to her now. I love having vivid colors in my hair, without the added damage of bleach, since I always like a black base, so Kassidy turned me to multiple different types of extensions methods. I’ve had both I-tips and hand-tied wefts and love them! I completely trust Kassidy from her color choices, to just a simple cut to my hair. I’m so happy to finally have found someone I can relate to and understands the importance of keeping the integrity of my hair, while still understanding that I like a little wow factor in it. Molly Pettit Highly recommend Sarah- skilled, patient and intuitive. She spent quite a long time sculpting my long, mousy hair into a cute, layered bob. Very happy with my new look, and appreciative of the time and attention that it took. The salon is nice- clean and upscale. They take your temp. Upon arrival and sanitize everything as they work.

avril Abbenhaus I requested gray coverage and highlights around my face because I wear my hair up. I did not ask for a cut. The appointment lasted 2 hours. I requested no blow dry. $459. (Including tip). Once my hair was dry I realized there were very few highlights around my face. I called and asked if they could improve the highlights around my face because I saw only a few. I returned and after she told me she was mixing my color, returned 10 min later to tell me it was going to cost me an additional $100. I told her I spent $450. and didn’t get satisfactory results. I walked out. They are overpriced and don’t care about customer service.

Patty Ross Patti has been cutting my hair for 15 years. I have very difficult hair, naturally curly. She has seen me through various hairstyles, all wonderful! I would never think of going anywhere else. Shes a gem as are all of her employees - a positive experience all around! I highly recommend!!!
