Brittany Schwyzer Honestly have never had a better braiding experience. I’ve been getting my hair braided by Gabbi for almost 3 years now. She is professional, kind, and QUICK. Her shop is clean, and she takes pride in infection control practices to provide the best service to her clients. Something that used to take 5-7 hours takes her 3 or less. Braids are always on point, last a long time, and look SO good. I get endless compliments on my hair. Has frequent sales that are a STEAL, although paying full price is 100 % worth it. She brought something to our community that was long overdue, and I’m just so grateful(as are many others here!) Thank you Gabbi!

Teresa I am so happy to have found Wildflower Salon. I had been seeking a stylist in Chico after making my permanent relocation here. I had parted company with my stylist in Yuba City because of a situation I felt was professionally unethical. When I contacted Wildflower, I was preparing to make an emergency donation drive to Los Angeles to aid their fire victims. I was extremely short on time. In the midst of hustling to get my supporters and my donations together, plus dealing with multiple safety and security services done on my Jeep, time was getting shorter, actually I was just a few days from ho time. I had contacted a few other salons and received no return call. Finally, I was able to reach Allure and was connected to Mario. I thought I recognized his name, and then when he mentioned he used to work at a salon in Yuba City. I was certain he was who I thought he was. He had space, and we made an appointment. He told me I would receive a text confirming the appointment, then a reminder and another reminder, which I received. I replied appropriately by text or phone to them. The morning of the appointment, I called to be sure the address for Allure was accurate and to confirm I was on my way. I was told by a woman at the salon that I wasnt even on the books. She said she would contact Mario and have him contact me. He never did. I have no phone or message records to validate any effort to contact me. So here I was, two days from a mad dash to the fire zone, overdo for an appointment, and quite disappointed. This is where the sun shines on wildfire salon. I left a message with them asking if ANYBODY could find a spot to wash and style my hair within the next two days. I received a call from a young woman named Sunshine. She was able to book me. I am delighted to say that her name fits her persona. She did a fabulous job. We discussed coloring, belayage costs, etc, and I will be returning for those services. The salon is lovely. Rachel, the owner, is very grounded, and Sunshine is a vibrant, youthful, compassionate young woman.

I was expecting to go back multiple times to reach the color that I had in mind, but she was able to give me the results during my first visit to the salon, in such an impressive amount of time. It was a comfortable and relaxing environment with great conversation and everything is very clean and sanitary. Really cute decor and merchandise as well. Would highly recommend.

Rebecca Throop Janine dyed my hair blue! It was 2-toned, darker at the roots and lighter in the rest of the length. This was my first experience with getting my hair dyed professionally and I didnt know what to expect but I am so happy with the finished result! It looks beautiful! Janine is an artist and painstakingly painted small sections of my hair so that the color is evenly and fully saturated throughout! (Did I mention how happy I am with it?!)

Drew Liston I found Erin, who works at this Salon on Social Media. She seemed friendly and was flexible with my schedule. My first haircut turned out great. She was friendly and interesting to talk to, She is very natural communicator and is a great listener. Anyway, when I got home my Roommate saw how great my hair looked and he was able to get in the same day. His hair looked even better than mine (he has better hair). That was 2 years ago and I am a regular who goes every couple of months. I DO NOT get the same haircut every time I go in. Erin and I talk about it and we usually change things up. She does the best when I tell her I dont care...Just work your magic. I recommend Erin and Society to all my friends. I am a Boomer and kind of ornery and particular about the whole grooming thing. Erin makes it easy. A BIG plus for me is that Erin is a total local. Born and raised in Northern California.....just like me. Thats a bonus in my eyes. Leo Erin did a fabulous job on my hair today, and she’s so personable! I highly recommend! She’s not distracted with telephone calls and texts, she takes her time and attention to cut your hair, gives great counsel, and is open to suggestions!! Highly recommend, and Erin thank you very much I’ll be back!! The shop itself is great, very nice ambiance, almost feels like you’re sitting outside, or in a sunroom.
