Heather really took her time to ensure everything was perfect, and her attention to detail was amazing. My favorite part of the appointment was when she washed my hair in the massage chair — the scalp massage she gave was absolutely incredible and so relaxing! I only needed a trim, but she nailed it, and it turned out exactly how I wanted. My hair was so smooth and shiny once she was done. I highly recommend Heather to anyone looking for a skilled and caring hairstylist. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Heidi Gammarano I booked with Heather for a 15 min consult for a discussion on my hair goals, she had a last minute cancellation and asked if I wanted to come early. So glad I did! We had plenty of extra time to really go in depth on what I want to accomplish with my hair, and Heather even had time to give me a much needed haircut on the spot! After our lengthy conversation about what I want, a haircut was the first step and I really appreciate her just being awesome and willing to jump into action. I booked balayage services and can’t wait to get back into Heather’s chair!

Jessica Taft Heather is amazing at her craft. I came to her with a year of growth from a partial highlight and about 6 inches of unhealthy hair that needed to be cut. She explained everything she was doing and why it was necessary to get my hair healthy again. She is an expert at analyzing hair and knowing how to process it and she is great company. T M I go to both the Oceanside and Leucadia locations. Heidi has been doing my hair for years and is amazing, I have the most vibrant color and love the way she cuts! Parking can be challenging because the pizza spot has blocked off half the parking spots for tables, but theres plenty of street parking when needed. Oceanside parking is easier than Leucadia.

Stephanie Stitcher Stephanie did a beautiful job coloring over my grey roots. I had tried to let them grow out during Pandemic and then decided I didnt like the way I looked with grey hair. My hair color is dark and color breaks my baby fine hair. She didnt try to force me into processing or stripping old color, she did exactly as I asked and my hair came out beautifully. She is a perfectionist and even followed up the next day to make sure my hair was beautiful and not damaged. I am definitely recommending her to all of my friends.

Dan Rod Marquis is an excellent barber. Hes able to do multiple styles with many different hair type. I usually have a difficult time finding a barber that can do my hair the way that I like. Hes able to cut my hair with precision and perfection ever time. When I fly into town, hes the first person that I contact. I recommend him to everyone. Hes precise, courteous, professional, and always on time.

May Beth Jordan Brittany was fantastic. I highly recommend this salon. This was my first time here and I was a bit hesitant because oceanside is a beach city and was afraid parking was going to suck. However, it was surprisingly easy to find street parking. The salon is on the corner of a bunch of houses which makes parking easier. Salon is relaxing and beautiful. The wood flooring and furniture goes well with eachother and the plants she chose to decorate works very well. We spoke about what hair style I was going for and how I wanted to even out my layers, which she did plus more. She also offered me wine, tea, water, and she even had Valentine cookies for the holiday!!! How cute is that ?! She colored, wash, and cut my hair which I think is FULL service. The color took a bit of time but the style i was going for takes TIME and I appreciate her attention to detail. I ended up getting the shampoo and conditionair and dry shampoo because the products she uses was so good !! Plus they ALL HAVE HEAT PROTECTANT. I didnt even know that was a thing people did. Overall experience was 10/10. I kinda wish I used the restroom just to get ideas how to remodel my bathroom. Look forward to the next time I need hair fixing from her.

I followed my girl Alexis (@ alexis.maniscalco) from when this location was previously Rebel Rebel. Love her! Shes great. Has done my hair a couple times now and has killed it every time!! Came in with gross green hair and walked out with a beautiful balayage. Couple months later (and a how-to-cut-shoulder-length-hair youtube video later), I wanted to change it up. Half black and half red and all healthy! (; Shes the one! Fair pricing. Knows what shes doing. I do recommend! The products here smell great/are great. Staff is easy going and friendly. Place is in the works but clean and beautiful location.

Patrick Fernane I cannot thank Tina and her team at Chemistry Hair Lab enough! I had a hair color disaster after using a box dye that turned out way too dark. In a panic, I tried fixing it with a color stripper, but it only made things worse—my hair ended up bright orange, and nothing seemed to help. I was worried because I had a job interview coming up, and after visiting another salon that couldn’t fully correct it, my hair kept getting more brassy and orange. Luckily, Tina had a last-minute cancellation and was able to fit me in. She worked wonders, transforming my brassy orange hair into a beautiful, natural brown, with a plan to get me back to my normal salt-and-pepper look in the future. Not only is Tina incredibly professional, but she’s also fun and engaging. My photo is from when my hair was still a little wet, so it doesn’t do justice to how great it looks in person! I highly recommend Tina and her team at Chemistry Hair Lab for anyone needing a color correction or just a flawless professional color job! So thankful!
