Miriam Cortes My haircut with Macey wonderful! Shes great at small talk and making me feel comfortable as someone who is new to this salon, as well as obviously skilled and didnt make me feel bad when I kept asking her to start my layers shorter. I also appreciated that she didnt hard-sell me on extra product but when I asked about certain things shed offer info and explain how I could add it to my process at home. Ill be real, this is the most Ive ever paid for a haircut (and can be twice as much as youd pay somewhere else), but I never felt that it was overpriced or like I was being up-sold things I didnt actually want. Ill definitely be returning!

Erika Weidner The young woman who cut my hair was lovely. She did a decent job. But I don’t know how these salons that give pretty mediocre haircuts get away with charging $160 for a very basic cut. I wanted a style. Layers. Heaviness taken out. She trimmed it up nicely but barely changed anything. I am happy to pay $160 for a bold and innovative cut. It seems like the standard in the Bay Area is now outrageous amounts of money for basic services. Oh and make sure you tip a crazy amount too. 20% of whatever that crazy amount is.

They take time to understand what I want, they provide time estimates and pricing information once you get there, service is unbeatable. I love how professional, attentive and sweet they all are and how natural yet fresh looking they leave my hair. Can’t recommend it enough!

Andrea Chan Liu Therapy Salon is the only place I go to for coloring. Sarah fine-tunes the formula precisely for custom coloring that Ive never ever been disappointed with. Sarah takes the time to listen & understand what I want to achieve as it may change every-so slightly with each visit. Sarah is able to formulate color that lifts my black asian hair without any damage, and ensures it stays on the cool side since lifting dark colored hair tends to go warm/brassy. Sarah is patient and attentive, I cannot recommend her more. The Salon itself is beautiful, newly renovated, super clean, and equippled with custom reclining chairs at rinse sink for maximum comfort.

Krista D Wonderful salon! Jessica rescued my hair with her amazing color skills. Im not exaggerating. She is a skilled stylist! Rosie gave me one of The Best haircuts Ive ever had. Simple, easy, and elegant. She, too, is a skilled stylist. Highly recommend. As with everything in Silicon Valley, the salon is pricey. But in this case, you do get what you pay for. Melissa Alpan I’ve been seeing Sarah at Therapy Salon for the past few years. I came in with bleached out frizzy hair that I could never manage and now I literally have the hair I always dreamed of. Sarah is an extremely skilled colorist and a brilliant stylist - she’s also so patient, warm and great to talk to! The experience includes at lovely scalp massage that sets a relaxing tone for the remainder of the appointment. I get a lot of compliments on my hair these days which I give full credit to Sarah.

Joe Engel Ive followed Jean-Marie from salon to salon for about 7 years now. Im so happy hes thriving in his own space! Hes the only person who ever cut my hair so that it looked good naturally without any styling. Like, hes so much better than any other hairdresser Ive tried. ivapeeva C Nikki Safaei @beautyinheaven (Instagram) is a true master of her art with simultaneously being a top-notch colorist. Her balayage and ombré techniques are perfection as she takes time to do it right, without frying your hair. I’ve been told by many previous stylists that because I have fine/shorter hair, that I can’t have balayage. Not a problem for Nikki and now I know that those former stylists just didn’t know what they were doing. You won’t be disappointed as Nikki understands what you want, will deliver, and you’ll strut out of the salon feeling like a million bucks. Oh yea, and she’s a lovely person both inside and out with whom it’s fun to catch up with - and now my daughter gets her hair done by Nikki as well…and it always looks stunning! :)

Ariel Wang Not the best haircut I’ve received. Stylist was very kind and professional. However the left and right side were different lengths and she didn’t balance my layers like I asked so I got a mushroom head. For basic trim you could go here but if you hair is hard to style I would not come here. She specifically said she has the same type of hair and knows how to cut it but it still came out very top heavy. I have long thick Asian hair and asked for layers

A lady opened the door and said she will close soon, so could I come the next day. I asked her, what time should I come and she said at 10 am. Will Harvey Gary listens to what you want and does a great job of continuing to iterate until you end up with a cut you like. Hes patient and easy to work with. If you want a safe cut that still looks great during COVID, this is the place to go.

When I came to my appointment, the salon seems busy however Tex was attentive and able to get me started on me. I initially just came for a cut but I asked if I can tone my hair since it was a little brassy. Tex said sure and got started, which I appreciated of him adding the service last minute. I asked for a trim and soft curtain bangs. Overall, I was happy with my cut and color. Thank you Tex!

t t My hair needed big help after months of neglect and some drugstore hair dye that was to dark and all wrong. Never again ☹️ Im so happy that I finally took the advice of friends and went here. The hair dye they us is very mild and he totally fixed my disaster. The cost was incredibly reasonable and extremely good. The salon is tucked unassumingly in this shopping center next to Chrystal nails and the new Tea Cub (Tea Cub is new and delicious). Seriously this salon is really good.
