My stylist Taylor, has been doing my hair for over five years. She’s taken me from a lived in blonde to super dark, back to blonde and then back dark again over the years. We’ve done extensions several times through our hair journey together and my hair has maintained its health and even grown longer than it ever has before. Her attention to detail and perfectionism ensures she gets my vision every single time! All the girls at the salon are not only amazing at their job but sweet, kind, and so fun to be around. They use the best products that smell out of this world, have the cutest merch, and yummiest coffee and snacks. Getting my hair done at Sol is always such a treat and I am so happy Ventura was blessed with them!!

Hilary Delladio Love this salon. All the stylists here are super talented and very sweet. The space itself is cute, clean, and full of natural light. Because it’s a boutique salon, it’s also never chaotic or super loud like some salons can be. I’ve been going to Bridget for a few years now to keep up my lazy girl beachy blonde and always enjoy my time in the chair at Sol as well as the compliments I get on my hair.

Alexis Baxley I’ve been to many salons in Ventura, no one has as many talented stylists in one location as Sol Hair! Sharyne Cervantez I was a bit nervous about being in a salon after the Covid19 re-open. But that quickly changed once I got there. The salon looks a little different because of the precautions they are taking to make sure that we all stay safe. There are fewer chairs and those are spaced further apart than before. Everyone wears masks. Including clients. Cherie was careful to sanitize everything at her work area and in the shampoo room, too. Her actions showed me how concerned she is about keeping us all safe. And she still managed to provide the same relaxing salon & spa experience I have come to expect. Cherie made my hair look great even after no hair care visits for 3 months. Maribel Munoz I love going to see Cherie. I’ve been going to her for 7 years now. She does a wonderful job with my hair. I have had great cuts, Brazilian blowouts, and balayage with her. Even with balayage I was nervous about bleaching my hair. She made the process go smoothly, slowly adding a bit more blonde at every touch up. The salon itself is nice too. One of my favorite parts is getting my hair washed in the back room. It’s so relaxing I almost fall asleep every time. I feel like she uses quality products. She is always on time. Overall I’m very happy with the service and I recommend her to everyone I know!

Antica Donlevie Cherie is the best hair stylist in the Santa Barbara/Ventura County area. I live in Santa Barbara and have tried many stylist, but no one compares to her skill level. She is the most detailed oriented, color savvy (blondes and brunettes from my personal experience), and honest hair stylist. She has fair pricing and truly cares about her clients. I highly recommend Cherie, she is an expert in her field and always goes above and beyond in her work. Truly the best.

Jenn Herbinson I highly recommend seeing Libby for a consultation if youre concerned about hair loss. After having seen three doctors who immediately prescribed minoxidil, it was so refreshing to sit with Libby and be able to talk through symptoms and potential causes. Just getting the validation that something has been going on and there are some straightforward ways to address it (without trying to sell me magic potions!) made me feel so much better. Monica Mendoza Love coming here! Ellie is wonderful! She patiently listens to my concerns/requests and kindly guides me in the direction Im trying to go with my hair. She takes her time to answer any questions i have from how to style my hair, product & hair tool recommendations etc. Not to mention it always feels like I get a hybrid hair & spa experience in one appointment. The environment is always so calm and i can truly relax during my service. The aromatherapy is a lovely touch and all the products Ellie uses smell SO GOOD! Will be coming here again & again!

Heather McGonigal I LOVE Styloria Salon! Tracey is an absolute artist when it comes to color!!! She always, without fail, delivers what I ask for better than I can imagine ✨✨✨✨I recently visited her at her new location and it had been awhile between appointments (I was traveling). My hair was in dire need of some attention and care. By the time my appointment was over, not only was my hair brilliantly refreshed--- when I looked in the mirror I looked like the most vibrant version of myself which was a boost I really needed. Tracey is one of the most talented stylists I have ever met. She is also kind and generous hearted. When you are in her chair you are in very, very good hands!

Natalie Heuel Tracey is the absolute best! She’s such a sweetheart and I’ve always felt so comfortable knowing I’m in good hands with her! She listens and understands exactly what I want and ALWAYS does such an amazing, professional job! I have gone to her a couple of times now and can’t imagine going to anyone else. She lightened my hair up beautifully the last time I saw her always and understands the exact haircut and style I ask for. She is extremely reasonable with her pricing and such an honest person! I always walk out knowing I got exactly what I came in to get :)

Chris Anderson Tracey is amazing. She took my daughter last minute and gave her a beautiful hair cut and style despite my daughter being in the middle of changing her hair style and wanting to grow it out. Absolutely amazing.

Deanna Soto Tracy did a great job! She listened very closely to my requests and did everything exactly how I asked. She kept the bleach off of my sensitive scalp, added the black to look exactly like the reference photo I showed her, and most importantly, my hair didnt feel any more damaged afterwards. I appreciate how well she listened, and absolutely plan on going back to her in the future. Her services are reasonably priced, I truly feel like value was received. Highly recommend! Kelsi Hoover The Hair Parlor is inviting with bubbly and friendly people working there. It is located upstairs and has a good view. They have a bathroom for clients to use and give you the option to have a drink while you wait. The process was easy for booking and text reminders are sent out to confirm, which is super helpful! The "vibe" is very Ventura and I highly recommend! My teen daughter went to Lauren to get her hair dyed and styled. Lauren helped my daughter to feel confident in her decision. She had a Pinterest idea of what she wanted and Lauren helped her decide what color and type of dye would work best for the intended outcome she was looking for. Parking situation: The paid parking along the street was made easy through the Park Mobile app and it allows you to choose where you are parked and for how long. Although its frustrating to pay for parking, it is well worth it. The process start to finish took 2-2.5 hours and $3 in parking was well worth it.

Rich Haggerty This place is top notch professional. The facilities and the staff. I was greeted nicely, the non-intrusive Covid protocols were done without hassle. This is a really nice and cool looking place. I felt really good being in the facility, lots of ventilation and filters. Debi cut my hair and was very professional. This is a nice place and definitely a good place where sanitation steps and professionalism put you at ease. Ill be back for sure.

Dragon Mom Great place! Carrie Gibbons is the best. She gives the best head and neck massage when she washes your hair, and she is an artist when it comes to hair color. Highly recommend.

Clinton Herniman Fantastic barber and full service salon. Located on Main street right above Ventiki. Dada is hands down the best barber Ive been to in Ventura county. All of the staff is great and they treat you like family. Its the only place I go now.

Stylist Nikki Nicoletto-Christie spent a lot of time with me discussing my goals, likes, & dislikes for my hair and was full of helpful suggestions. I FELT LISTENED TO. I didnt bring a photo for reference, but she gave me a cut and color that was better than I ever could have found a reference for. SHE TOTALLY DELIVERED ABOVE AND BEYOND! The Davines product line smells heavenly and made my dry hair soft and shiny. I even had a "hair mask" which included a relaxing scalp massage. She used organic hair color that turned out super lush. Her friendly and professional personality made the time fly by. Ill be back for sure! Flexible hours, reasonable prices, eco-conscious products, easy parking, cool vibe and Nikkis expertise makes the Hair Lounge a TRUE GEM!

Haley Cornett Jeanine is amazing! I thought I was going to have to shave my head to erase all the damage in my hair. But after listening to me she was able to provide a beautiful, low-maintenance cut without having to take much off at all. My hair feels lighter and livelier, and she gave excellent recommendations for nursing my hair back to good health. 12/10 beautiful & clean salon, nice people, I felt right at home and I love my hair again.

She lifted portions of my dark brown hair & we did a fun color block with an array of colors. I was in need of a tune up for sure! Went from a shaggy mess to something cute & colorful. Vanessa Dean I was positive I had left a review about Turquoise Lounge before, but I had a different stylist this time so I felt it necessary to come back and update my experience. So, Im really paranoid about getting my hair cut because of really bad experiences and choices I made in the past. My first visit here was a few years ago but it still takes me over a year to commit to getting my hair cut because 1. I really love my long hair and, 2., its usually not in my budget (even places like Fantastic Sams). But one day in Feb, I was scrolling through IG and I saw a post by Turquoise Lounge for a haircut giveaway and figured Id give it a shot, and I ended up being the lucky winner. I ended up having a different stylist than usual (Andrea Maria, the salon owner), which for a second made me nervous, but I rationalized that if Andrea trusted Monica, then I could too. Im really glad I did because I am very happy with the result! Monica was very sweet and has a good eye. My hair is much more manageable and I havent once looked at my hair and regretted chopping off as much as I did. I love the length and its still so soft. Im very happy that I found a place with two stylists that I can trust. It definitely cuts back the anxiety.

Alex Zinik My only regret is that I didnt find Kristi sooner in my life! I now have the hair of my dreams and I couldnt be happier. After years of low self esteem and wearing uncomfortable unnatural looking clip ins, Kristi worked her magic, spun me around in the chair, and when I looked in the mirror I was happy with what I saw for the first time in my adult life. Kristi is so incredibly talented, experienced & knowledgable at her craft. She took the time to explain everything in depth to me during my first visit so I knew exactly what to expect when she applied my extensions. She is honest, acts with integrity, and truly has her clients best interest in mind. She truly is an artist. She is intentional l about every single hair she places on your head. She used several colors to create the perfect blend for me and placed my extensions in a way that went with the natural pattern of the way my hair grows. My extensions feel and move in a way thats completely natural. Kristi did such an amazing job with them Ive been able to throw my hair in a pony or high bun without any sign of my extensions showing. Its the best feeling ever!! And to top it all off, Kristi is one of those people with just overall good uplifting energy & positivity. I am so grateful I found her.
