Teresa Trujillo Had my appointment at 10:30am and didnt have my nails started on until about an hour later because a regular came in about 40 minutes before me to get squeezed in for a pedicure. With that being said I am most definitely about to be a regular here because even though my appointment didnt start on time my nail tech Christina did such an amazing job that I wouldnt mind waiting again if need be just to have the privilege of her working her miracles on my hands. My hands are so soft and cleaned up. I really wish I took a before picture because the difference is very noticeable. After soaking my hands for a while, my fingers looked like zombie fingers with all excess skin and hang nails. They are now pristine thanks to Christina. It is Veteran owed by a very nice gentleman. Very grateful for this place and will be back many times in the future.

It’s sort of a hot pink with a shimmer. The owner is very friendly and makes me want to come back. This place is located just north of the high school where I work. They also offer discounts the month of your birthday if you get on their emailing list.

They remember personal things from previous conversations that lets you know they listen when they talk to you, not just making small talk for the money. Ari V If I could give 0 stars. I would. The owner, her name is Helen, short hair one of the first seats. I made an appointment for 2:45. When I got there she was helping someone else (not a problem), she then stopped the other girls nails to do mine (not cool or professional), she asked me 10 times throughout doing my nails what color I wanted but I couldnt decide just yet, she got a little aggressive and told me to sit somewhere else while I decided and then went back to working on the other girls nails. Once I chose a color, she again stopped with the other girl and took me back into her chair. While waiting I noticed that she didnt fully apply acrylic to some spots of my nails for my fill, some parts were still rough to the point that it was catching on my shirt. When I sat back in her chair and pointed this out, she got aggressive yet again and tried to pass her lack of work off as "I just tried to make your nails thin", which has nothing to do with spots missing acrylic for my fill. She then added entire gobs of acrylic onto my nails, enough of it that it got uneven and it was the amount that would normally be used for a full set! She was rude, did a bad job and could care less about fixing her mistake. She also rushed way way way too fast in doing my nails. This was my first and last time here. If you go, dont get your nails done by Helen the owner.

Falon Ferrari tv I love the work that this place do Ive been coming to them for a while now. The only downfall is they Dont really specialize in designs and when it comes to long nails its a no-go. Ive been getting my nails done for 12 plus years consistently and Ive never had my nails break this often. If you like simple nails or short nails this is the place to come. Finding a place to do your nails its like finding I think a mate it has to be compatible with what youre wanting. This is a good place to come give it a try!

Heather Gomez My family has been coming to City Nails with Helen for years. My daughter has been coming to her for a year since her last prom- they wont go to anyone else. I decided to spoil myself a bit and have Helen do my nails . Wow! I already knew how amazing she was but experiencing first hand is a completely different experience! Helen is an artist , and a perfectionist. She takes so much pride in her work and her priority is for her clients to be very happy and satisfied. LOVE my Ombré ring fingers! Ive always lost nails in the past ...but not with Helens set! I went in for my fill today ...she is so fun, warm, inviting , honest , and talks the whole time ! Which is nice ! I came in showed her a pic of what I wanted, and of course she executed and exceeded expectations! Theyre so pretty! (And Im picky) Also, the shop is always clean and everyone is nice! The tech working on my wifes toes was very detailed and she is happy with her feet again. I loved that I was able to get a same day appointment and that I was out really fast. Good place to go.

Briana Bray I went here randomly and Im so happy with my nails and the service. I normally get long stilettos and at most other nail places it takes 2 1/2 hours. I had Helen and she was great; she only took 45 minutes AND she shaped them perfectly. I didnt have to ask her to fix them and she was so nice and gentle. Also, I only paid $45 and the price didnt suddenly go up because the length of nails I get, like at most places. This nail salon is the best one Ive ever been too in literally every way. The quality of service is amazing, the price is fantastic, and my nails are actually perfect. If youre looking for a nail salon definitely come here and ask for Helen.

Angelica Flores Most luxury spot I’ve been to. Got a gel pedicure and it is the best pedicure experience I have had in Fresno. This place is worth the extra $10-15 with tip compared to other places. They are boujee, clean, and very sweet. You are treated like they are excited to see you and that makes the experience more comfortable. They’re very thoughtful about choosing polishes and make sure you’re confident about your choice. Other places give me anxiety and the workers are blatantly rude :( I’m making this my new nail spot ♡

The staff helped to ensure that I was comfortable with the size and weight of the nails. I’ve been here a couple of times and they’ve always been so helpful with assisting me in selecting colors that compliment my skin tone. They are honest with colors and make recommendations for other options as they caution what the actual outcome of the colors might be. The younger gentleman provides thorough care when doing pedicures. Highly recommend checking them out.

Hannah Stuckenschmidt My bestfriend and I came to get a classic gel manicure and pedicure (although I got acrylics) with just black. I wanted short coffin/ballerina shape but they are fairly wide. Also the signature pedicure that we both got was supposed to be $25, we got gel as well and they told us its $5 more. We were both charged $40 for our pedicures. Her total price came out to about $80 and mine came out to about $95. The service was good and the people were nice, we just both feel like we really got played with the pricing.

Kirsten Wallace My only reason for this review is to hopefully help someone not have the same experience as I did. So lets start with how I wasnt asked for water or any kind of beverage my entire pedicure. Mind you, the pedicure I bought which was $63 said it included a drink, but was not asked once. Not even for water. The young lady doing my pedicure cut my skin on both my big toes. Never apologized, but did put some kind of antibiotic liquid on it which burned like hell. I will include pictures of my toes. I had to REMIND the nail tech 3 times to cure my gel. She kept forgetting to do so. Overall worse pedicure I have EVER gotten. I dont do this often & when I do I look forward to a good experience. This was the complete opposite. Sadly I will not be returning to this place I used to always go too. Beware please, the young gal didnt seem experienced or licensed for that matter. Who the hell forgets to CURE GEL?!? Just wild. & to charge people $60. You better off going somewhere else!!!

MLissa Morillo We had a great time with the Neon Glow pedicure! The massage and the hot rocks were so relaxing. And it was nice to choose our scents for the soak water. The attention is always on point, they greet you when you walk in to your appointment, you can schedule it online and it’s easy. They offer you drinks on the house anywhere from Vietnamese coffee to mimosas. I am a regular here.

Lyndsie I’ve been here several times because it’s convenient for me, but I just can’t come back anymore. My nails end up looking pretty, but they are always SO RUSHED which leads to low quality work at times. Today, they cut me twice (I know it happens sometimes) but there was no apology at all, and I feel like that’s the least they could have done. In addition, they do NOT follow basic health safety protocols that are in the best interest of everyone. They’ve constantly grabbed items from bins labeled “soiled” (yes, it’s happened multiple times that I’ve been; every time except once actually), and their establishment is not kept to a high cleanliness standard. The floors are always really dirty, and so are the counters. I gave this business multiple chances because of convenience and because I know that mistakes happen, or I thought maybe it was just one or two people grabbing from soiled containers, but it seems to be almost everyone. I love supporting small businesses, so I hate to leave this review, but I had to be honest so others can hear my experience and observations while making their choice of where to get their nails done. Hopefully the owner can read this honest review and implement some new employee trainings/protocols.

Naya Bay The nail salon seems to have a fair rating of 4.5 stars which is great. My service was a pedicure. Upon arriving I was seated promptly since there was no one there when I arrived on a Saturday afternoon. I was very pleased with the service an older gentleman had provided. However, I noticed he used an old file which is usually reserved to shape and file artificial nails (only)not to be used on the natural nails of the feet. (Potential for injury). He did a pretty good job otherwise but you run the risk of getting dirty nail files used on you. Finally, he handed me off to be polished by a woman whom I had to ask a total of two times to fix my nail polish and started to gaslight me by saying it was because I chose regular nail polish versus Gel which out of the 25 years I’ve been getting pedicures that has never been the case. Please do better and acknowledge mistakes not by blaming customers but by simply doing better. Thank you!

Jeannette Copeland I stopped by this place on a Thursday afternoon for some beetlejuice inspired manicure nails, and a pedicure. I got the diamond gel pedicure and it was so relaxing. My feet are so baby-soft. My manicure is so gorgeous. I love my hand painted spiderwebs. The quality and price are very good, give them a try, you wont be disappointed.

Review Queen 2 It was so good. They offered so many ways to keep my fingers and toes healthy and that is information that i feel like i should have paid for. They are very knowledgeable at questions I asked and if someone didn’t know they asked someone to help. It was all teamwork and they were so humble and nice. They even took the extra mile and got a dry paper towel for me to dry my nails. They were all happy smiles and I will go back time and time again I think I just found my new nail home! Definitely would come back! (July 25th) The ring got upgraded and so did the nails! Let me start off by saying Tony executed my vision today! He went above and beyond to get my nails the way I liked. I’ve never done chrome to my nails and wasn’t sure how it would look with the blue I chose so he had them do a test nail with the combo before he did it on my nails. Extremely happy with the results! Elizabeth Jaramillo It’s rare I take the time to write a review but I want to warn others before you decide to get a service in this place. The employees were rude not only to me but another lady that was getting her nails done. All three working seemed tired and frustrated. The lady doing my manicure filed my nails unevenly, did not take the time to clean my cuticles, the water used to soften the cuticles was very cold AND she wasn’t able to finish me so the gentleman that was there was tasked to massage my hands. He had JUST finished smoking a cigarette and he did not wash his hands which made my arms and hands smell like his..and to top all of this off the warm cloth to clean y hands had a mildew smell. The worst place I have gone to get a manure. Lastly, the salon is not kept up and pretty dirty. Try to stay away.

I did not receive a “free drink” with any of my services and the lady doing my nails did not bother to ask how short or what shape I wanted on my nails. I’m not the one to write and complain but I was very disappointed in the service and personalities of people. Straight up rude. My nails are crooked but I didn’t want to start a fuss over it. Will not be coming back.

Iya Nla This place service has gone down. The nail polish is old. Then I was charged 86 dollars for a manicure and pedicure and my nail polish is peeling. They offered to fix it but my schedule is too busy to drive back down for 1 nail to be repainted. Its a nuisance. Nice service but not everyone that works there is a trained manicurist, I wanted acrylic overlay and was told they didnt understand what I wanted, to then be told they dont know how to do it. Is this a nail shop? I am so tried of these nail shops. I dont know what to do.

Sarah Morozov I had a wonderful experience at New Look Nails. I was able to secure an appointment the same day I called. The salon is easy to find and very clean. I was welcomed when I walked in. I immediately took a seat and eas asked to pick my color. Ben has excellent drummel skills and took care in soaking off the old powder in preparation for new powder. He chatted with me while he worked. Which is rare! I am very happy with the entire experience and will be returning in about 2 weeks for another fill.

Shannon Babcock I have been going to this salon since before they changed ownership. But I have to say this salon is my new favorite. New ownership is what this place needed! The new staff is kind, friendly and take their time, even when I make a 6pm appt! They now offer walk ins and are open on Sundays which has been such a relief for those who work 9 to 6 Monday- Friday. They value their customers and pay great attention to detail. Another plus-- they dont charge extra for gel polish like every other salon in Fresno does! and you get 2 colors included in the price! They dont try to scam you to pay extra. Theyre honest people, and will make it right if your nails lift early, etc and I will continue to be coming here for my mani/pedis! ❤️

melissa newton I have been going here with my mother in law for over a year. Over the last couple of months they have changed management. The new girls are absolutely wonderful and we have been really happy with their service. We get pedicures and our nails done almost every time. They are willing to try any style and do a very good job. The last time I even took my daughter and she loved how her nails turned out. I highly recommend them.

Jasmine People When I walked into the salon today, a young lady from across the room asked if I had an appointment. Unfortunately, there was no warm welcome, and I had to share my personal service details with everyone present. After I mentioned that I didn’t have an appointment, she inquired about the service I wanted but only speculated that the next available slot might be at 12:30. Despite my request for confirmation, she only reiterated her uncertain guess. Additionally, no one took my name or any information to secure the appointment. This lack of attention to customer service was disappointing, and I won’t be returning to this salon. RESPONSE: Your response suggest a lack of professionalism, and Id like to address them directly. When I entered your salon, I wasnt greeted but was immediately asked what service I wanted. While a couple of feet may seem close, it’s still across the salon, and proper greetings should be standard. She mentioned an available appointment time, but no effort was made to confirm if I wanted to schedule it. An ETA is not the same as an appointment. She mentioned that the next available appointment might be at 12:30, but an appointment implies a specific, confirmed time, which is why I asked for clarification. In fact, another client even intervened to clarify the time I should return, which raises the question: If my presence made anyone uncomfortable, why would someone feel compelled to assist me? If my presence had indeed caused such discomfort that it affected others, why wasnt service refused immediately? It’s concerning that this issue was only raised after my review. I walked into your salon with no other intent but to receive a service, and I find it troubling that you perceived me simply walking in as making others feel uncomfortable. I apologize if my presence as a Black woman made you or anyone else feel uncomfortable. Its unfortunate that Black individuals are often unfairly perceived as having a bad attitude, and I regret that this may have influenced your perception of me. Lastly, your reference to my other reviews was unnecessary and irrelevant. I am entitled to share my experiences honestly, and this was no different.

And the reviews are so right, the wonderful lady who did my nails last minute was so sweet, she genuinely wanted to get to know me and regardless that they were closing in less than 30 minutes she took her time and didn’t rush anything! S D I landed at Fresnos airport and had two hours to kill before the next train to Merced so I decided to get my nails done at "The Little Nail Shop" while I waited. These ladies are great at what they do and their customer service is top-notch, they will make you feel at home. They even offered me something to drink while I got a pedicure, I mean not many places do that. Now, dont get crazy margaritas are not on the menu lol but you cant got wrong with a nice refreshing juice or bottle of water. The place is clean, comfy and welcoming. They also have a ton of colors to choose from. Highly recommended if youre in the area. Thanks ladies for the great customer service!

Ly Tay Very disappointed I would not recommend this shop!! I took my wife for the first time there and will never go back again. Very bad quality..the paint came out the next day. The nail shape isn’t right. When we went back to get her nail fix, they still not do it right. The paint was not dry and bubbles but the lady she doesn’t care. She just put the top coat and let us out. Don’t waste your money guys!!! I would give them 0 star if I can…

TR Camacho The best nail experience Ive ever had! Got the Delux pedicure, and I think I forgot how to walk after that massage. The nicest woman ever too! The attention to detail and comfort was amazing. They even gave me a bag for my shoes since this was a last minute decision and I didnt wear flip flops.
