Crazye Carlye Linda is awesome! She always does an amazing job. I can go 3 weeks doing ranch work and hard labor without a chip or a crack. I love the cats eye and color changing nail polishes she has! Ive never found another salon that can compare to her stunning work and customer service.

After my first appointment, I decided to return each month.

Michaela is very attentive, detail oriented, cares about her clients, and… her prices are incredibly reasonable (less than chain waxing in my experience). valeriehummingbird T is wonderful she is not only kind and compassionate but does an excellent job on my nails I always have a pedicure and a manicure. And I am very satisfied with the results. I really like coming to t because of all those reasons but it’s also it’s just her and you in the salon so it’s very intimate atmosphere. It’s not like you’re in a room full of strangers and they use toxic chemicals. Here it’s completely safe and there’s no awful smells. Just the sweetness of her smile and my toes and nails are very happy

Janelle Ernst I have always loved going here. This is my first experience with an older man that works there. He gave me a pedicure and after only rubbing and scrubbing my feet for 20 seconds each side. I mentioned that the girls normally do that a bit longer and that was really short. He stood up and left. Another woman finished and just look at the finish. Worst and most embarrassing nails to wear

Suzy Forwood T has a very comfortable salon! The massage chair was the best I have experienced. T takes her time, and shes personable and fun to talk with. She has strong hands and gives a great massage, too. My toenails are perfect!

Emily Woods T is wonderful! She knew exactly what I wanted and took the time to check every nail carefully and then asked me to inspect the nail as well (I was getting a gel French manicure). T does a great job of making you feel comfortable as well, she plays your favorite music and offers bottled water. Love the personal touch. Could not recommend her more!

Miranda Bloom Mary did a fabulous job at fixing my previous manicure that I got elsewhere. She did exactly what I wanted and spent the time to do it right. They followed all the Covid protocols and made me fee very welcome. I will absolutely return!

But I share a building with this business and I can confirm they are exceptionally nice all the time and thier shop is so nice and clean. They set it up very pretty. I have never seen an unhappy customer leave thier place. They are truly great downstate neighbors.

Lori Thomas The TLDR: It was not the worse experience imaginable however to pay $110 for an hour massage and not feel like I actually received a service from a licensed practitioner really leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The lack of communication about the sauna - or the weirdness in asking about it, was also not great. To also have my feedback ignored makes it even worse. More info: I got a massage for the first time from Wolf Mountain a week ago. I saw that it got good reviews so was excited to try it out. Although the atmosphere was nice and the facilities were clean, I received a very lack luster massage and ran into some communication issues. I reached out via email to talk to someone about my experience but disappointedly never heard back. My massage therapist was extremely nice and friendly however, even though I asked for more pressure during the massage it was still very light pressure. This was one of the lower pressure massages Ive ever received. Additionally, she also put my arms into a few compromising positions twice (each side, feeling like my shoulder blades were going to be pulled out of place), which Ive never experienced and anyone who knows anatomy (I would think a licensed therapist) would know not to do. My cousin also got a massage at the same time and her masseuse gave more appropriate (firmer) pressure AND put hot towels on her feet and a mask over her eyes for facing up. I received neither of those little touches that help create a relaxing and enjoyable massage experience. Part of the reason I booked at Wolf Mountain is because they had a sauna to use for 30 min in addition to your massage. When I booked the appointment the person on the phone let me know that they were having issues with the sauna and that it might not be working the day wed be in. Totally fine. Fast forward to our massages and arrived at the spa, we were told once again that the sauna was not working. Again, fine. As we were checking out, the person at the front desk was on a call booking a sauna appointment for the next day. Once they got off the phone I told her we were told twice that the sauna wasnt working and she just shrugged.

Ramona Taylor Chelsea was amazing! I had a sound healing massage with her that literally was one of the best massages Ive ever had. And Ive had quite a few! Go in with an open mind and heart and come out with a brand new set of wings. She released so much, not just muscle tension. Thank you!!

Jerri Glover The staff at Wolf Mountain are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing with beautifully decorated surroundings. I took advantage of their waxing services and for the first time ever experienced no break outs after my face wax. Miriam runs a very classy service and I recommend Wolf Mountain for a great day of pampering for yourself or someone else.

Ty Will It was just meh... The place was clean and newly renovated but that was the extent of the good. The pedicure chairs were nice with what look like a bucket. No jets, no fresh water to rinse or anything. The lady that did my pedicure seemed like she was in a hurry. Literally what had the makings of being a good basic pedicure on paper turned out to be about a 20 min rush job. During the pedicure I had to ask her to scrub my feet more, fix a nail that was longer than the others, and to repaint a nail because it didn’t have enough paint on it. I did not let her do my manicure. Thanks but no thanks.

Joni Sternberg I asked for my gel to be taken off and regular polish and manicure. I kept asking my manicurist can clean up my nails and dry skin and she just couldn’t seem to do it properly. I eventually said not to worry about finishing…my nails actually look worse now than when I came in with my chipped gel…bummer. They still asked for $25 after literally just taking off my gel( and not very well) and rubbing some bad cream into my hand. I guess it’s time to find a new salon!

Mariesstyle AMAZING. Stopped in in between appointments to fix my acrylic set I had filled 2 weeks prior elsewhere & was unhappy with them. The atmosphere is awesome, very open, clean, modern. They got me in here right away. They weren’t busy so some of the other workers (one of them I believe is the owner) helped out along the process which sped it up (ideal for me who hates sitting still and getting my nails done). They got my nails off within minutes, no pain ( unlike previous place experiences). The owner thoroughly looked at my nails and showed me where they weren’t previously sealed and water had gotten in. I like how she explained it to me. Then my guy got to work on my nails (I totally forgot his name but he’s probably in his 50’s & is AMAZING.) when I say amazing, I mean it. I’ve never left a review before but I had to for them. He took no shortcuts, he thoroughly worked on each nail making sure they were perfect. And they were. Most of the time when I get my nails done especially doing walk ins, there’s some aspect I wish was done better/different but know it comes with the price/walk in aspect, but not this time! They are perfect. Found my new nail place. clean, fast, friendly, great prices, and quality work that shows they aren’t just trying to get you in and out of there. Thank you guys so much! -Tayler

Jamie B Visited to Allure for a manicure and pedicure a few weeks ago. The ambiance in this place is the best of any nail salon Ive been to. I especially love the lighting and aesthetics. The ambiance is on point and definitely makes for a relaxing pedicure. They also give one of the best pedicures I have ever had. Staff is friendly and I will definitely be back.

Kelsey Kazarian Pampered is the best salon to go to in the Nevada City/Grass Valley area. I’ve tried quite a few and truly nothing compares. Kayla & Kelly are both exceptional with nail art, and have all the latest nail trends/colors/chromes. I go to Kayla for acrylic & Kelly for pedicures, though Kelly does a great acrylic as well. Kelly’s pedicures are the ABSOLUTE best ever. The staff is super kind & accommodating, and everyone is always super friendly. It’s a great vibe. Bring a picture if you have one for nail art and you will not be disappointed. These have been my favorite sets.

Aliciana Swinney I just went here to get my nails done before my baby comes! They did my hands and feet at the same time which was really nice for me time wise. Both hands and feet look great! I asked for a tip with dip powder for natural looking nails and Kayla did a great job! They don’t look bulky or fake- very happy!!

I got a pampered pedicure for 65 bucks which included hot stone, paraffin wax, mask, oil massage, callus removal, and the usual cutting and cleaning. Tip is cash only. It’s cheaper to pay the whole thing in cash.

M Norton They took the time to do a fantastic job, would absolutely recommend for a dip powder manicure. My companion chose a deluxe pedicure and was really happy with that too.

Nicole Gowey Ive been going here for years with my kids and its always been an ok experience. Some of the ladies are nice and do a great job but its hit and miss. They are always pretty hard and ruff and tend to cause a few cuts and bleeding with manicures and full sets but get upset when I wince and thought that was just "normal" since Ive never really gone anywhere else. However, the last time we went and got pedicures my toe and my sons toe were both a little sore and red the next day when there was nothing wrong before. Its been almost two weeks and now we have full blown infections. I thought mine was getting better after a few Epsom salt soaks, but no! Posting pics of day after, 9 days after and 13 days after for me and 13 days after for my 11 year old son. Time for a Dr.!

The deluxe pedicure is the best Ive ever had, which includes a hot stone massage, sugar scrub and additional leg massage. My nails always look amazing and their artwork is always perfect. Tricia Sims I get my pedicures at Grass Valley Nails and they do a really good job. The technicians are sweet and detail oriented. They pride themselves on good service. The atmosphere is both relaxing and uplifting.

cam m 24 hours after I had a standard polish manicure ( no gels). I have never had polish come off like this so fast . I only wanted it to last 4 days so opted for regular polish. Not sure what went wrong. If I had time before my event I would go back and ask them to fix it -

Adam was very precise, detailed & professional with a funny personality. All of their customers were getting what looked like quality artwork on their fingernails. It was very impressive. Richard Olvera The lady who gave me the service was not happy to take care of a guy, you could see it on her face and attitude, every time she was trying to tell me to move my feet, shell just hit my leg, it was so funny that I couldnt even complain lol. Emily Andersen I’ll start off by saying my pedicure was absolutely lovely from beginning to end. The staff is also very sweet. Unfortunately my manicure could have been much better. My fingers were stained from the powder dip and gel polish making the manicure look messy and unprofessional. I’ve been trying to scrub it off but it’s been difficult. I’m bummed because no one should have to do this after going to a nail salon.

Brittney Still My son got his ears pierced today at the Artistic Nail Salon. This is the only place that I know of that does ear piercing besides tattoo shops who charge a lot more. My 6 year old daughter had gotten hers done at the Artistic Salon earlier in the year and we were really happy with her experience. We called to see if we could get a same day appt for my 10 year old son today and the owner was able to accommodate. After setting up the appointment, she had the unfortunate luck of losing her office key. Instead of cancelling on us, she went out of her way to get another person in the building evolved that could assist her in opening up the door she needed. We ended up keeping the appointment and got the job done. She was very thorough with sanitation and making sure the piercings were perfectly centered. Thank you for your service, Linda.

Elena King I went here to get my nails done with my family. The atmosphere was serene. However, the man doing my manicure seemed extremely under qualified. He would stop for minutes at a time to look at his phone and prop it up as if he were watching a YouTube video? It was strange…anyway after the vigorous filing of my skin and not doing any cuticle care, he starts doing the $45 gel set. So, now my nail beds are in pain and so are my cuticles, there’s a ding in one of my nails and nail glue all over my hands. I was very disappointed in the price. I would recommend this place for Pedis, Manis are a waste of money here.

Alisha Starr Worst acrylic set Ive EVER gotten. The guy doing them took his shoes off and was talking about he had been tested for Covid 3 times this past week. He kept stopping what he was doing and messing with his 2 cell phones. After filling my nails he never had me wash my hands. The acrylic is insanely thick on most nails and bumpy and there is nail glue all over. Do not go here

Sarah Kope Not happy with this place just took both my daughters spent 160 dollars on nails after 2 and half hours i cant believe they charged me full price n not even that they charged me more then quoted and all 3 sets have issues. I ladys we had cut our fingers, I asked to have my nails removed but instead just painted over the pink and whites I asked for. My nails feel like they have moguls on them, there all bumpy and extremely big, they make my hands look old. Both my daughters nails look like they already need a fill.Asked to have them fixed, was told they were fine. Ill never go here again.

I had acrylic nails on that needed a fill, so I went in to this salon and the lady told me she doesnt do that and proceeded to rip my acrylic nails off with clippers and a fake plastic finger nail , it was the worst pain ever , I had two bloody finger nails from the trauma . This left me sitting thinking, "Do I run out of here or what?" She did another type of nails that turned out lumpy and bumpy with Goop stuck under the nail that I am going out to buy my own drumel in order to try and fix. And she charged me $61 !! Boy , do I feel stupid. Im never going back there, thats for sure.

Chandran Boyer Recently a friend of mine and I decided to go Mai’s nails. Worst experience we have ever had. There was no heat. They did not use a dry lamp at all for acryli. Both our cuticles were destroyed. The nails have a horrible shape and you can see every brush stroke. S S.C. The nails are not even smooth at the end. She had a nail break in 24 hrs. They told us on the phone they did nail art but we were told different when we got there. They kept trying to get us to change what we wanted. They have maybe a total 20 colors to choose from but over 100 advertised.
