Maria N This salon is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood but is definitely worth a visit. I started coming here because it was convenient to where I lived, but Ive stayed on for years because of the people and the wonderful service they provide. Ive been coming here for haircuts, color, highlights as well as Aveda products. I have almost always worked with the owner, Alma, who is terrific; she really tries to make sure you that you not only look and feel good but that you also have a great experience. Very accommodating too. I recently got a haircut from Elsa who also did a wonderful job. Highly recommend.

Loni Austin This was a GreatClips experience at Aveda prices. When one books at an Aveda salon, one expects a certain experience that is on brand. This was the worst experience I have ever had over the years of visiting Aveda salons. (Actually the only bad experience ever.) I walked in to what looked like a dirty salon. There were smudges of color on the wall and the furniture is dated and worn. I had booked a hair color for my roots and cut. From start to finish I felt on edge. I wasnt offered water, tea or coffee. I wasnt asked how my day was going. The hair dresser didnt evaluate my hair and offer what she would do...when I was asked what I wanted done, I said freshen my dusty root and she got the mix ready and came ready to brush it on the roots. When I said usually they use foils, she said thats a low light, you said you wanted your roots covered. I said I didnt know what my service was called and maybe we shouldve discussed more what I wanted done. But she didnt try to understand anything about my hair or how I wanted it to look. It felt like going to the dentist and the dentist asking me how I wanted my cavity filled. Shouldnt an experienced hairdresser help you feel like shes going to make you look beautiful and what options you have? We didnt speak the whole time, also strange. She pulled a brush out of her drawer with hair already in it. I already felt the salon wasnt clean. The silence was awkward. There was no signature Aveda massage during the shampoo. And the final straw was she told me, despite the fact it was scheduled, that she wouldnt have time to cut my hair because she had another client coming. Salons build their business all on service, this salon has none. And was dirty. I will definitely not rebook here.

Don Dikun I started coming to Cielo Salon for the convenience as I could walk from my house from up the road. My whole family: self, wife, daughters get our hair cut here. The time and consideration tailored to my specific hair needs, understanding how my hair grows, exceeds anyone that prior cut my hair. My hair is easier to manage and looks its best as a result of the salon’s care. Overall, you feel like part of the family and it’s a relaxing experience as you chat about life and get your hair done. You can’t go wrong here.

Kanu Gulati I made an appointment at this salon for color and cut more than a week in advance. They first called the day before to say they cant do both but can only accommodate cut at 3 pm, but I should show up alone time.
I get here at 3 pm and both the stylists seem busy. I politely wait till 3:10 and ask again. She then comes to me to say - "yes I am running late by another 10 - 15 minutes. you can reschedule if you want to". Wait. Whats with the attitude. Like I made a mistake by showing up on time. How is this place even operational with that work ethic? Who comes and hangouts for 20-25 minutes waiting for a trim appointment that isnt longer than 20 mins. Terrible customer experience. Avoid.

Emily Harris Elsa has been trimming and coloring my hair for years. Aveda products are excellent. Elsa and Anna are very skilled, friendly, and pricing is very fair.
