Alvaro Mendez-Cruz I really enjoyed my experience here. Setting up an appointment was quick and easy. I have long hair and Kalea helped me with a hairstyle that suited and met my preference. Shes very knowledgeable and professional and I love the way my hair looks now thanks to her. Will definitely be coming back from now.

Megan V This is my favorite local hair salon. Cool vibe on the inside and a wide array of friendly and talented stylists! They always do such a great job on my pixie cut. Alex does a killer clipper cut. Only downside is the parking lot is small but there is more parking nearby. Highly recommend.

iwisis Whahshs I paid $2,000 for keratin tip extensions, and while Ricky is a great person—hence the one star—the overall experience and quality were disappointing. My hair is on the thinner side, and 150 grams was likely too much. This was my first time getting keratin tips, and I wish I had done more research beforehand. During the appointment, a heavier-set male coworker, while working on another client, openly complained about how much he hated doing keratin tips but said the money was good, which made the atmosphere awkward. Additionally, Ricky mentioned I would receive free toner but didn’t reimburse me after I paid for it, which felt a bit money-focused. I believe that as a business professional, if you promise something, you should follow through, although I understand everyone has different values. While I don’t hold anything against Ricky personally, I wouldn’t do business again with him or Remedy Hair Shop.

Not sure I going back as he made a bad comment as I sat getting my hair done. He said tell your client to remember your name! In front of me! I told him you are not professional! And don’t you ever say stuff to a client! I told him specific details and he still booked me wrong.i don’t go for a shark tank.

For starters, whenever I walk in I am greeted with smiles, friendly hellos and a beverage offering. The salon is well lit, always spotless and looks freshly "polished"! The sitting area is comfortable with tasty snacks and beverages. Lisa is the ultimate professional! She is always so patient and will assess my hair needs each time with a keen eye. Shell advise if I need my low lights touched up or just my standard grey coverage. She will tone my hair only when needed and will experiment with different brands to ensure ultimate softness and strength! I greatly appreciate the extra thought and effort that goes into this! I get compliments for days! On top of that Lisa is a sweetheart and so kind! She is so hardworking and does whatever it takes to satisfy her clients! All the staff is so friendly, including Vicky V! Anais This is the only place my son will get his haircut. I also take my brother here and because of his autism he tends to be sensitive to sounds and certain sensations. They have always been patient with him which I appreciate. Overall great place.

The very nice lady I spoke to on the phone said absolutely come right in. I was completely baffled! When I came to the salon they were able to see me right away and were so kind. They fixed me up right away like a NASCAR pit crew and had my hair looking and feeling amazing in no time! I HIGHLY recommend Meedo hair salon! 10/10!!

My daughters hair is very difficult to manage (about 4C hair type) and Eve did wonders on her hair. My daughter and I are happy with the results. Im glad I found a new hair salon for my kiddo.

I am new to the area and found her salon online and saw that it had decent reviews which is why I am leaving this review. Before I arrived to the salon, I sent her pictures and a video of hair inspiration for my sew in. The video I sent also detailed a low tension method.. The customer service was lacking from the start. It is a small salon and unisex so FYI if you are unaware. The owner did my hair and she reports over 20 years of being a professional but lacks professionalism. When I arrived I was not greeted warmly and barely acknowledged. The customer service was lacking from the start. I sat down and waited because she had someone in the chair. I did arrive approximately 10 mins after the start of my appointment time but I notified her I was running behind. I was actually blow drying my hair before my appointment. Washing and blow drying are not included in the sew in service. She also told me she was behind which was fine. I waited until she was ready for me. She asked me a few questions about my hair and some areas that had damage. She went to put some products in my hair however, I am very sensitive to new products and have allergies and reactions to certain ingredients. I asked her several times throughout out visits what she was using and doing to my hair because of my allergies and just had hair questions in general and she was very short with me regarding this. I also asked her how to maintain the curls after she styled my hair and her actions just made it seem like it was a burden to ask her that. She showed me I could pin curl or use flexi rods. I just asked her general questions about how she did the sew in because I actually havent had on in over 10 years. I blow dried my hair and placed it in twists before arriving from the appointment. She unraveled the twists from the root to the ends, removing them very quickly. She also said I put to much oil on and she took a regular looking towel and rubbed the oil off my hair.. I am a fine haired natural ... She braided my hair so tight and sewed the extensions in so tight that I actually texted her the next morning to take loosen it or take it down. I could not sleep that entire not and took pain pills the entire night. I just recovered my hair to the health I wanted it to be at and I was so afraid that I would get traction alopecia and breakage. She offered to take out a few threads but said it might not last. I also had my birthday and plans the next day so I kept it in. At the end of my first visit I paid her in cash counted in front of her and she recounted the money and I booked a follow up appointment. There aren’t many black stylists in the area and it was our first meeting so I did book another session with her for sew maintenance. I gave her the benefit of a doubt. Maybe she was having an off day. That was my mistake because it so much deeper than an off day. The unprofessionalism and shortness was deeply rooted. Before I arrived to my second visit I told her that I had a flight in LAX and some errands to run that that day and asked her what the estimated time was for the appointment. She said it depends on how long your hair takes to dry.. ok… I also offered to come in earlier.. no reply I paid her for my visit before I arrived as well. During my second visit, the salon was packed because it is pretty small. Someone was sitting in her chair during my appointment time but I waited patiently at the shampoo bowl. She didn’t really explain anything. Didn’t apologize, just expected me to accept that treatment.

Phoenix Brown Johnese did my twists and I was very happy with the service as well as the final result. She was friendly and efficient. Reasonably priced as well.

Enrique Sanchez Walk in, great guy, price is high, it looks as if they did the cut in a rush, $50 not worth this place. After the fresh cut it looked fine, but after washing it and letting all the small hair off. There are a few hair sticking out that was supposed to be cut on the side and the top hair thinner scissor was overused. Its a terrible job that I need to take elsewhere to get fixed now, I dont recommend this place at all. What a waste of $50 to now go fix it

Tristin Terrible Customer Service. Beware when dealing with them. They will take your money and when not satisfied with what they do they turn around and blame the stylist saying they are self contractors. No accountability. Don’t be fooled by the good reviews. Those are there for when they do a good job but if they don’t they will just ghost you. Oh and the best part is they will block you on every social media platform!

Lisa Morris I went to salon 9 for the first time and had such an amazing experience! The staff was so nice when I came in, helping me right away! I got my hair done by Jeanna, and let me just say I’m so amazed! She did such an amazing job, was super quick but through, and just a sweet person. I am not one to get my hair done very often because I have had bad experiences in the past, but I 1000% recommend Jeanna! I loved how my hair turned out! She did a wonderful job and am recommending all my friends to go to her now! So happy I finally found a good hairstylist!

Victoria Gonzalez This place is terrible. Me and my daughter went to go get a haircut on Thanksgiving. My daughter asked him for a straight cut. They left her hair cricket. I asked for a butterfly haircut and they left my hair. All choppy. One side is longer than the other on the back one side is longer than the other there’s longer hairs on my head, then others I was letting my hair grow. I told the lady not to cut any lanes off of the back and she still went ahead and cut a whole bunch of hair off the back when I walked out of there I didn’t say anything, but it really really sucked because now my hair is all choppy and messed up. If you’re looking for a salon to go to please don’t go here because honestly, I have gone here a couple times and I still thought maybe all the ladies change maybe everything would be different this time nope again last time I went I dyed my hair. I got highlights and I came out of there with my hair fried please look for someone somewhere else to go because honestly, this is not the place to go

Kimberly Muro I am speaking from experience that happened years ago and i regret not doing anything about it. I came in to get a haircut and I was 13 years old. Three days later after the haircut my scalp was itchy and I told my mom. I got lice from this place. Although this happened a long time ago I still wouldn’t trust going to this hair salon not knowing if they clean hairbrushes properly until this day. Im still upset that this happened. There are other hair salons that you can go to I do recommended going to other salons that are self owned businesses. Look on social media there are amazing hair stylists that do an amazing job. Afterall I would never reccomend going here at all.

Sophia Jaber Went to this place and regretted my decision the minute I walked in there. Don’t get your eyebrows done if you want to keep the skin on your eye lids. This lady put cold wax on my first eye and I already knew it was down hill. She not only put the wax on cold but she put it so far down my eye and then tried to make the excuse that my eye is “sensitive” and I had a lot of hair. I HAVE GOTTEN MY BROWS WAXED BEFORE AND NEVER HAD AN ISSUE. I asked for a brow wax, not an eye lid wax. Then she does the other eye and RIPS the skin off that one too. DONT GO HERE FOR ANYTHING WAX RELATED. They charged me $17 and I left a $20 for that ridiculous excuse of a service.

Angel Horrible experience with Amy. Amy was rushing me throughout my cut and lacked patience after asking me what I would like for the top of my hair after finishing the sides. She spoke in her native language aggressively as if to get her anger off me, which as a customer made me feel disrespected. She also messed up my left side with an uneven fade and didn’t bother wetting the top of my hair for a cleaner cut. The manager is no different when I complained to him about my experience. What a way to pay for disrespect.

Unfortunately, the stylist (Kristine) seems to lack formal training, which resulted in damaging my hair and scalp burns. Did not even get an apology whatsoever for the bad experience. LOAN DO The salon has modified for COVID-19, or each station is isolated from one another, and we felt safe to get haircuts yesterday. Even though Orange County in purple tier, they are still allowed to open indoor. The haircuts were reasonable ($8 to $18), and the service was quick and good. We will return!

Albert Nyo They are fast. Give your name and number at the counter. Sit and wait in your car. They will call you in less than 5 minutes most of the time. More than 6 ladies are in the salon. Hair cut is only $8.00. Did I forget to tell you that they are beautiful?

I highly recommend Miriam if you are trying to keep up with the latest hair trends, getting a hair trim, color treatment, or anything your hair desires. One of my favorite things about Miriam is that she continues to grow professionally to keep up with the latest hair trends/styles etc...Shes very welcoming, and professional, and just has a great vibe. I always look forward to my hair appointments. Also, she sends you a text to check in with you and your hair! I love that!

Jaime was the one who did my hair and for it being her salon, I’m surprised how damaged she left my hair. The last picture is how I wanted my hair originally but she made it copper. ORANGE. I had to tell her it wasn’t the color in the picture and she told me to leave it on for a few days and if I didn’t like it to go back and she’d make it browner. I went back but my hair is now super damaged and I’ve spent hundreds trying to get it back to being healthier. $230 down the drain plus over 150+ in treatments that I’ve had to do to repair the damaged she caused. Not to mention, while she was bleaching my hair a lady came in demanding Jaime for her money back. I figured it was a Karen but after how she left my hair, I completely understand the lady’s frustration.

She complained the entire time she was cutting my sons hair. When she was done, she clearly did a half done effort because my sons hair was not well done. Nina Garcia DONT Recommend this place at all !! I had my hair medium length I asked for a short hair cut above my shoulders with layers and wispy bangs. Even showed my INSPO picture . What I got was Dora the exploradora haircut .by a young inexperienced girl . I went back to ask to get it fixed there wasn’t much that could be done since the damage was done.the lady that tried to fix my hair was even ruff would push my head aggressively like if she was upset I went back . Wouldn’t even listen to what I had to say she would just say yeah yeah I’ll fix it I know what you want . Clearly NOT . Evelyn I am not one to write a bad review but I truly felt disappointed by this place. I had originally come as a first time client last year in December. I have long hair and this place was affordable on getting a simple trim ($12) I understand pricess are going up but I would have appreciated to know that it’s now $20. Ok no problem, just wish I was told. But that’s not the reason I’m writing this review. The reason is because I decided to bring my soon to be 16 year old for a haircut. He has long wavy hair and decided it’s time for a change, wanted a buzz to have a different look. He had shown the lady a picture of what he wanted and she said ok. After buzzing the sides he then asked to leave hair on top with a bit of length. He showed a picture with the length. She said ok. He asked for a fade where he thought it would look nicer than just a straight buzz. So I asked the lady to do that for him and she said “he is asking for a completely different hair cut” I said yes ok. She continued to say that and look bothered. I said I’m sorry I don’t understand the problem, is it something that can’t be done? She said no, it can be done, it’s just that I would have liked to know to not have done different haircuts. My understanding basically was that she didn’t want her time wasted. I then proceed to tell her how this was a huge change to my son’s look and he was figuring out his own style. She then didn’t say anything and went from 1 1/2 buzz to 1, little to no effort on that cut. She looked bothered and as soon as she was done took off the apron. I was so confused as she didn’t clean him , or made a comment on her being done or showed him the final look. The cut looked choppy and I felt so disappointed on thinking he would have gotten a decent haircut. I payed and did not tip for the service we had. My husband came back with him and asked the lady to clean him off. People don’t just come for their weekly haircuts there are people looking for a haircut to have a new change and these so called professionals are here to help, yet she didn’t meet our standard. (Short red haired lady). I felt so bad for my son. He left sad and upset. I would not recommend anyone looking for a “new look” to come for a haircut.

norma arevalo DO NOT Come here !!!! They have young inexperienced girls working here ! They messed up not 1 but 2 girls hair cut ! Why hire inexperience girls ! Do not come here. They charge $15-$20 you get what you paid for ! Less learn !! Again avoid coming here .!!! They even cut your hair dry will spray some water but it’s mostly dry that’s how you know they suck !!!

A C This place is good to go during the weekdays not weekends. During the weekends its too busy plus the people sometimes they dont even say hi to you. All the girls work here never say welcome to the customer, when people get to this place there is no body to answer there questions like how long would be the waiting time.
