They do do walk INS but it is recommended to have appointments we actually made an appointment the day of. Go and visit Rebeka salon for outstanding salon needs

Arnold Lira Bad service. Didnt cut my wifes hair as she requested. Sped through cut. Instead of focusing on client, she (the owners daughter) was taking to another stylist there about going to a concert. Never going back. Avoid this place, or at least the owners daughter.

Rosa Dorantes Come here if you want a bad haircut. Asked for a cut and bangs with photo references on what I wanted and left with the complete opposite. Rebeka cut my hair didnt check her progress as she hacked through it quickly. The result is chunks of hair far shorter on one side than the other, and none of the layers that were promised. I will never come here again and you shouldnt go either! I would like to add that this was my first haircut in years. My hair was past my waist and undyed. She didnt ask until AFTER the haircut if it was natural, otherwise she would of saved it for donation. My heart aches Knowing that my hair could of helped someone, but didnt.

Patrick Carroll I’ve never had a solid barber in my life, but Myron changed that. The most comfortable I’ve been in a barber shop, and I’ve actually never had a better cut. This is THE barber shop not just in Antioch, but Contra Costa. My guy is great at what he does, and from the way he and the other barber talk to the customers like there best friends, I’d say I’m not the only one with that opinion. Give it a shot, you may of just found your new barber

My son insists that only Thomas can cut his hair just as he likes. Typically, my son goes for a stylish side cut, followed by a crisp lineup that sharpens his look. Thomas is an incredibly talented barber at Executive Cuts. He is known for his professionalism and his exceptional customer service. Despite his busy schedule, he always fits in with my son for an appointment and ensures he gets the perfect haircut. Thomass attention to detail is unmatched, and he takes the time to understand what his clients want. Whenever my family members or friends need a haircut, I suggest Thomas without hesitation.

Mary Dixon Eve was my stylist today. I was in her Walnut Creek location. I wanted some knotless braids with color. They came out fantastic, no pulling, I didn’t even get a headache. The color was gorgeous on my skin tone. Definitely recommend!!!

Amira Adansi The Pretty Star Hair Braiding, located in Walnut Creek, is a great place to braid your hair. The ladies do their jobs very diligently and I am always satisfied with my hair. I have been coming here for over a year now and I don’t plan on switching locations any time soon. Great customer service and even better results!

Momo Pagan I have been going to this place for years for my haircut and the staff used to be very experienced and friendly but lately there are trainee girls, and I got disappointed with the service and quality. I do not want to say much but maybe it is good time to look for some other good place.

Aivan Acala I walked in two weekends ago without an appointment, needing a last-minute haircut and fade because I had procrastinated. Even though I didn’t have an appointment, they were able to fit me in, and I’m so glad they did. My stylist, Zoey, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. She took her time, made sure I was happy with the cut, and made me feel really comfortable throughout the process. I was thrilled with the result and got tons of compliments from coworkers and friends. Impressed with my first experience, I brought my mom and daughter in the following weekend for cuts and trims with deep conditioning. My mom is a tough critic, but she was genuinely happy with Zoey’s work. I could hear them chatting comfortably, and my mom felt so at ease that she even asked Zoey if she could squeeze in a last-minute root color treatment. Honestly, I figured Zoey would say no, but once again, she went above and beyond and made it happen. My mom was beyond impressed. Even more surprising—my 7-year-old daughter has always hated salon visits. But Zoey completely changed her experience. My daughter had such a great time that she’s already excited to go back. Zoey was incredibly patient, and her attention made all the difference. I can’t recommend this salon enough, and Zoey has earned three loyal clients for life. Thank you, Zoey, for making these experiences so memorable!

Teolo Gabas Banaybanay I have been to this place several times and they always charged me $25. So this lady who cut my hair most of the time, she was the one who take care when I make the payment and she charged me with $28. I told her, I have been this place a lot of times and its always $25. She said, ohh its always $28. I dont mind paying this amount if she will tell me they increased the haircut rather than telling me it is always been $28. I will not go back to this place at all.

David Addis Ive been going to this location for well over a decade. Ive never gotten a bad haircut. The price is good and the people are nice, especially the owner Eloisa. Appointments are available, but wait times are short if you just walk in. I love this place and hope they are around for years to come.

Dontashia Brooks Amelia started my locs. She keeps me informed about their health and how what I’m doing affects the outcome of my hair. Before this she did a great press for me which people usually struggle with cause I have thick hair. She offers a lot of styles as well and can do so much more lol! Pictured below are two retwist styles that she did for me. I could of kept them in longer than I did if I really wanted too.

Rozayy OG Been getting my hair braided consistently by her for over 6 months now. I was looking for a stylist that can give me cornrows instead of stitch braids and she delivers above my expectations EVERY SINGLE TIME. Also the shampoo IS INCLUDED in the service which is hard to come by nowadays. If you have really short hair like I did when I first met her, she can braid it ! _________Update_______ 2 weekends ago was my last straw. While I was a repeat customer, I had to endure Amela being very late to all our scheduled appointments. Although Amela knows I live in Oakland and I travel to Antioch for the service, there once was a time I had a 2pm appointment for cornrows and without calling me to let me know she went over time with a client; she allowed me to get there at 2pm to tell me she has a client and believes she will be done with them by 4:30pm. That should have been the last straw but I had always had faith that the lateness would end. I did not leave her shop that day until 11pm…..for cornrows with my natural hair. Unfortunately, I convinced my wife to get their hair done by Amela because my wife was in a time crunch. Instead of my wife getting her hair done at the scheduled time of the appointment (10am), Amela had to go somewhere (I dont remember where) and left my wife in the shop alone with no one in there for a period of time. My wife’s hairstyle was a braided bob with the hair braided only 2 inches in length with the rest loose above her shoulders. Also 25% of my wife’s hair is shaved. It took Amela 12.5 hours to completely this look because she didn’t start on time and also left the shop and I’m sure speed of braiding was a factor as well. My FINAL STAW was when I booked a 10am appointment and I arrived. I call Amela because no one is there, and she answers the phone and says she on the phone with a customer service help line because she received an order that she wanted to return. This has nothing to do with me getting my hair braided and she’s not even at the shop ready to do my hair. She says she will be there in 20mins. 45 mins go by and I call her and she doesn’t pick up. She calls me an hour and 13 mins later after I shifted all my plans because I knew getting my hair done by her means it’s an all day event not to mention I drive up from Oakland. My friends and family told me in December that I should stop seeing her because of the lack of professionalism and I should demand my deposit back from 2 weekends ago. From what I’ve seen and gone through being a loyal client there, she’s going to need that $50 . You can keep it.

Ariana R. Called to set up a hair dye appointment and set it up for said date and time. Pulled up to the place, and it was closed even though we agreed to have my appointment on this date and time, but they were closed. Called them, but they didnt answer, so I left a voicemail with my phone number to ask if were still on for the appointment, but they never called me back. I got stood up, and they didnt bother calling me back. I felt like they didnt want to do my hair and the lady who set up my appointment sounded like I was bothering her, I felt like she didnt want to do my hair but she didnt want to say anything. It was very unprofessional and disappointing. Wont be bothering coming here again

I made an appointment 4:30, no one responded to me, spoke to me, and once again acknowledged me being there. Another patron who also had an app. Also asked if we’d be helped. The response, indifference… I guess if you are a regular you have nothing to worry about, if you’re new well…

desiree criddell ABBY! Is extremely disrespectful rude and a flat out liar!! I keep trying to call the business to report but I was told this place in under contract no managers. Abby schedule an appointment then you show up and she say oh I forgot, then you come back and she said oh, oh come tomorrow!! Then I kept my son out of school and I had another appointment with her and she call and said oh, oh I’m sorry I’m doing someone else hair, then she push the appointment back then she calls again and yell at my son saying I have to many appointments I forgot to write them down!! I told my son don’t ever contact her! This has happened to us more than 5 times!! I can’t believe the owner is letting this lady work here! To disgrace

Moriah Christy I used to go to a specific stylist that was at this salon, but due to COVID she is no longer there. The salon has always been clean and well lit. I was in desperate need of a cut and color after all this time and it was my only day off so I finally called to see if they had someone available. It was kind of last minute, so I honestly wasnt expecting much. They dont have a receptionist so I left a message. Thankfully I got a call back from Aly who was able to fit me in. She was amazing and wonderful to talk to! I have a specific red color I like and have had been dying myself for a while. She did a perfect touch-up and toner! She trimmed up all the dead ends. Now my hair is looking healthier and nicer than ever! Thanks so much Aly!!! I have found my new favorite stylist!

Jennifer Starks Both my daughters and I have gone here for services. The takedown was good, but the wash and blow dry was not. I finished with an itchy scalp and damp hair. More importantly, the braiders are unfortunately not consistent. Some are just better than others, but you dont know until its too late. A 6 hour Boho mid-back braid install that I got for one daughter a few weeks ago, took over 8 hours today for my other daughter with less hair, and the finished style looked very different. My daughter described the look as a "long bob". She came home in tears. Its frustrating to hate your hair after sitting for so many hours. There also always seems to be an issue with the grand total not being what was quoted. Ive emailed ahead for clarification on costs, and never get replies. Overall, the professionalism is lacking, especially considering the cost of the service. I usually pay over $300 each time my girls get their hair done there. That said, Astou is phenomenal! If you manage to book her youre in good hands.

Stephanie X Hello Kadi. My first review was for the appointment dated 5/4/24 and not 7/2/24: When: Saturday, May 4, 2024 9:15 AM PDT Where: 1061 East March Lane, Stockton. I wasnt going to mention the 7/2/24 appointment, but since you have written about it in response to my May review. I will do so now. 7/2/24, Second visit: I had an appointment with Carol at 3 pm. Due to a 3 car multiple accident on 99 & not my own, l was delayed 20 minutes. I called them when l approached the traffic jam. l arrived at 3:20. I told Carol that l was getting the medium cornrow pony braid style. I only requested 1 thing. Please do not cornrow the front straight back. Please braid it is some kind of angle or some form of a curve. Pretty clear instruction. Carol slowly braided the back. When she arrived at the front, she started to braid the cornrows straight back. I stopped her after the second cornrow and showed her the picture from above & another photo of cornrows not braided straight back. She said yes & started braiding them straight back. I stopped her on the fourth braid & again showed her the pictures. She paused braiding for 15 minutes, looked perplexed & called Kadi. I explained what l wanted to kadi & she l assumed explained it to Carol in french. Kadi then asked me to show Carol a picture, to which l again did so. Kadi never mentioned anything about hair volume or anything else. Which l have no idea has to do with the direction you are cornrowing the front of my shoulder-length hair. I had Carol remove "5" cornrows that she braided straight back. She did so & then braided the front correctly. The braids turned out just okay. Which is why l didnt mention them in a review, until Kadi tried to portray me as untruthful in my 5/2024, review. Please note that, this corwnrow ponytail style took almost 6 hrs! We started at 3:30 & ended near 9:15. Ive never had a long cornrow ponytail, which l wear in a bun take longer than 3 1/2 hrs. Carol braids extremely slow. Dear readers, the review of my 1st appointment in May, & my 2nd appointment 7/2/24 are accurate, & l have no idea why the owner said otherwise. Kadi presents as unprofessional & dishonest. If you do not believe me, please read the critical reviews by other clients on Google & Yelp who also included photos.

Destiny Sky Service was amazing! Definitely will be going back she did an excellent job with my stitch braids. It was my first time going and she made me feel super comfortable and it was a great experience!

Damond T I have been coming here for a while. My beginning experience would be a 5, but the service has gotten a little less than. All of the ladies are polite, but moat are always on their phones, texting while braiding which is a huge distraction and causes them to not do your hair good. Its okay to take a call, but when its every few minutes and they are stopping your hair, that is not good service and makes your appointment longer. The other reason for the low stars is because with the exception of Aicha mostly all the ladies are late and dont honor what Kadi has put on her website as her promise which ultimately makes her look bad because its her business. But I havent stopped going yet, but if this continues I will find a new shop.

Jorge Vilanova I went in last week to get a haircut with an idea of what I wanted. I tried showing a picture to the “hair stylist” sandy but she brushed off the picture I was showing her and said she’s not a barber. Then continued to do the haircut anyways instead of looking for alternative choices or to work around the haircut. During the haircut she seemed like she was in a rush and didn’t want to be cutting hair because almost every time she would cut it with the electric razor while pulling it. While that hurt she only realized once that it was a problem and continued to do so afterwards anyways. I was then hoping to show her the photo again or see if she would be following the style that I was recommended but she didn’t. I was then met with the excuse again that they are not barbers, even though I didn’t ask for a full fade. I walked out with much less hair that I needed to lose and more reasons to not come back. I also hope people know that the “stylist” do not take their time with you if they don’t feel like it because that’s how it felt for me. I’m not sure if she even properly cleaned her razors because the next day I woke up with rashes on the back of my neck. So overall I didn’t have a good experience and would actually recommend against going to a place like this where they aren’t helpful with your hair style.

They are very attentive to your needs, helpful. The prices are reasonable and they have excellent quality merchandise. local resident Shannon is a Saint, I have hair loss and she does an amazing job with everything, so patient and researching new ways to maximize extensions with minimal damage. Grateful for all her years of taking care of me. I dont get my nails done but I do know no one better than Lisa, both Shannon and Lisa have faithful huge client following for their care and expertise.

Professional standards were neglected, as the stylist failed to meticulously color the hair surrounding my face. Residual color necessitated thorough home rinsing. The employees hair color was notable. Unfortunately, both visits confirmed pricey, subpar services totaling $258 plus tips.

I have been seeing Shirley for years and she is a pro!! Rake fits perfectly in downtown Brentwood. I won’t even look at going anywhere else. Also, they have/sell the Davines products which are outstanding.

Cleo 286 Unprofessional, rude and lack of costumer service. My cousin told me she went there and they told her they couldnt do her hair coz its black hair and the color ash blonde wouldnt pop out the way she would want it and said even if we asked other salons they would say the same. Guess what other salons said they can do it and we asked. If i could give zero star for them letting her wait while i baby sat my niece i would. They made her wait for almost an hour and then told her they cant do her hair. If your too damn lazy to mix colors dont go to work. Dont do your hair here if your a person with color as well.

Camille Reynolds Rake is truly the best salon! The stylist are not only great people, they are extremely talented. The salon decor is perfection and they have all the best goodies (tea, snacks, etc). Downtown Brentwood is such a vibe and Rake fits right in.

Kristy and Tyson Horn Jordan is the greatest human alive!! Lol! she does hair magic. I live 7 hours away... and I drive all the way to see her. She listens to me, she gives feedback and suggestions.. always on the same page. I could chat with her all day!! She is adorable, stylish and hilarious. Her color is very impressive! Cuts are so stylish!

RANDY BECK I havent gotten my hair cut in over a year umtil today. I got an excellent cut. The young lady was very pleasant and kept the conversation going during my time in her chair. I am sorry that I didnt get her name.

Karla Cash Rolanda and Nicole are the best stylist at this location been getting my hair cut here for over 10 years. When my usual stylist left 3 years ago it was difficult cause I have unique hair styles that I require went through a couple before finding the right fit with Rolanda and Nicole I recommend them to everyone whos searching for a quality hair style that doesnt leave your wallet empty.

Vinna G. I made a quick call trying to get my ends cut (after searching all day and not spending $70). I came out looking so much better. I believe the lady that did my hair was Michelle, she flat iron, cut and helped me stylied my hair. Id give her a 10 but 5 stars are the limit. I will come back.

Brandon Hackett First time at great clips. Stylist was great. Good men’s haircut, super pricey though (for me and my son)... My normal place is at least $5-$7 less per person (And they wash your hair after which great clips charges $10 for). All-in-all happy with the service - just wish it didn’t cost so much for a basic men’s haircut.

Andrew Bookout Chaya is the nicest person Ive ever met and she cuts my hair perfectly every time I go in there. I dont want anybody else to touch my hair because she knows exactly how I want it to look! I feel so comfortable when I go in there its a good environment.
