Katherine Loomis I cant recommend Young Styles enough! I happened upon it walking by and couldnt have been more pleased with my experience. I had a Russian gel manicure, blow dry/style and eyebrows/face waxing/tweezing and all of my services were top notch. Everyone was very kind and helpful and the salon itself was bright, clean and very comfortable. Prices were also very reasonable. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience and I will certainly be back!

Angela B I found the hidden jewel in Montrose. Nara the owner is an incredible artist. I love my hair! She recommends products to help my curly hair and colors & blow drys always make me feel young and fresh. Frederik Malikian I had a wonderful time. I was in n out. No time wasted. Arrived at my appointment and was taken in. They also cut my son’s haircut perfectly, resembling Cristiano Ronaldo. If you want the best cuts in all of Glendale, Montrose, Tujunga, La Crescenta, La Canada or even Los Angeles come down here. You won’t regret it.

Emma Goetz I was looking for a salon close to my wedding venue to get my hair styled and ran across Lucys. I had never been before, but everything exceeded my expectations! I brought in a few pictures of the style I wanted and they did it perfectly. Everyone was very friendly and I was also treated to a nice cup of coffee and a chocolate during the styling. It was a pleasant and easy experience. Thank you to everyone at Lucys!

Tina Baghdasaryan I have been coming to Lucy since 2017. my hair has never looked this good before. I went from having block highlights, to well blended baby highlights. I bleach my hair every 6 month, so it is important to go to someone who will not damage your hair. people get surprised when they see how healthy my hair is even with bleaching so much. I get haircuts every 2 months so that also helps. highly highly recommend.

Trey and Chayce Padgett Experience was okay, though the stylist didn’t speak to me at all (except for 2 seconds at the beginning to ask me what I wanted). I got a few inches cut off to have a bob, but the stylist gave me face framing/curtain bangs (which I didn’t ask for, I asked for a plain blunt bob). The guy asked me if I wanted to dry my hair which I thought was odd, but come to find out at the end of the appointment that having my hair dried cost an extra $50. Overall the cut is okay but I can’t wait to have these bangs grow out. Updating because of the response from owner to attach bank statement/confirmation of the total cost.

lolita tax I always had a wonderful experience at Lucy’s Beauty Boutique. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, making me feel welcomed and comfortable. The salon itself had a relaxing and inviting ambiance, with modern and stylish decor. The services I received were top-notch - from the skilled hairstylist Lucy who gave me a fresh and flattering haircut. I was impressed with the attention to detail and the high-quality products used. Irina Hovhannisyan I have been coming to Lucy’s beauty boutique for the past 3 years. Lucy’s expertise in hair is unmatched! She is a master of color, highlights, and keratin treatment. Recently she recommended I do a Keratin treatment and I am even more obsessed. So so happy with my hair, I’ll never trust anyone else.

Alenoush Avakian Elina has been doing my hair for several years now and has never failed me. I have gone through different hair colors, lengths, and styles and my hair has stayed healthy all through out! I would highly recommend Elina for all your hair color needs! I have also had blow-outs and styles done by other hair stylists at the salon and everyone has a magical touch! The environment is very friendly and welcoming.

Adelina Kocharyan I have been going to this salon for 10+ years now. Elina is a color specialist and she is the absolute best at her job. She always gets the perfect blonde color for me, and I am constantly getting compliments on my hair color. The whole staff and stylists are super nice and friendly and make you feel welcome. Talar T. Arus is a very talented hair stylist I highly recommended. I have seen her twice and was equally pleased with the results each time. Not all stylists are good with blondes. Arus is an expert. She is great with my “complicated” hair. She gets rid of the dark and not complementing colors to achieve a true blonde shade and keep it updated. Don’t hesitate to have your hair done by her. She listens to what you want and asks questions to make sure it’s the shade you are aiming for. It’s great to trust someone with your hair and find your go-to stylist!

liana balayan I have been coming to this salon for 3 plus years. Arus has been my hair dresser (more like my hair angel) I remember coming to her 3 years ago with the most damaged and processed hair. With her years of experience and magic touch, she completely restored my hair back. I went from balayage to pink, to platinum blond, from short to long and now we decided to add in extensions because I love being extra. LOL. Her technique is astounding when it comes to color correction, and ensuring you have the most perfect tone. Arus is not only the best hairdresser I know, she is also the most kindest and caring person. It always a true blessing to be in her presence. When it comes to styling, dying, or extensions, she the one person I will always recommend without a question.

Angelina Hayrapetyan Susanna my girl is fantastic! She does my hair extensions she does it with care rather than rushing through it. My hair has never been colored and she managed to find extensions with similar color as mine. She spends time with her clients and will make adjustments slowly. You can put your trust in her with your head!

rania fadel Sher is amazing! The best micro blading I have ever done (which I have done 4 times before). She’s very professional and so good at what she does! Yes the touch up is included within the time frame that she gives you. She’s very honest and delivers great quality work. I won’t be looking for another place for this service.

Rodger McDaniel I was looking for a high quality permanent make-up clinic for my girlfriends eyebrows but of course I was looking for a good price too. I looked all over Glendale & Los Angeles and Mazi Salon gave me the best deal for microblading eyebrows and I saw their work and decided to give them a try. They included a free touch up for the eyebrow tattoo, which most other places didnt offer. The eyebrow services turned out beautiful and my girlfriend was extremely happy with the results! Definitely wont be taking her anywhere else for microblading touch ups in the future.

Maria Khachiyan Sher is a gem and I couldnt be happier to have stumbled across Mazi Salon! I needed to find a place to get my makeup done for my sons birthday in Glendale and as I clicked search on Yelp, Mazi was one of the top salons that popped up. I decided to give it a shot and Im so happy that I did! Theres a reason so many wonderful reviews are posted here already. I used the online booking system to make an appointment just a couple of days before the event. Sher reached out to confirm everything and was so accommodating! I arrived to be greeted by herself and her wonderful mother. With a nice cup of coffee to start, I spent the next hour getting beautified by Shers golden hands, all while chatting it up as shes so easy to get along with. And let me tell you, the end result was perfection! Sher recommended and added a beautiful pop of color to my eyes and the perfect pair of lashes that took the look to another level. My makeup was done at 9 AM and the compliments were rolling in even at 9 PM. I will certainly be back!!!

Phillip Van Vanessa’s the best!!! Really amazing with cuts and color. She’s awesome at an undercut and pretty much anything else you could want. I’m speaking about male hair, but she also cuts and colors my mom’s hair now and does an incredible job. Can’t speak more highly of a barber/stylist/hair whisperer!! Definitely get your cut with her you won’t be disappointed!

Planaria Price Couldnt find any salon to straighten my bangs with Keratan and Vanessa said she could. WOW!!!! so lovely and professional and did a super job: bangs, side curls and trim. Half the price of the Santa Monica salon I had gone to last year and so much more pleasant.

L. Valle Idma did an excellent job cutting my hair exactly how I asked. She was also great about communicating when she was running a few minutes behind. I haven’t been able to find a stylist I’ve liked enough to return to since moving to this part of L.A., but I will definitely be going back to Idma.

Olivia Vermonne Julie is a master. She turned my box dyed red hair a very light blonde with ease. She is detail oriented, continually checked in to make sure my scalp wasnt burning. Absolutely recommend her for going blonde.

Barbara Duran-Rodela I got my hair colored by a very nice lovely young lady. She was very patient and informative and I would definitely come back. We were having such a nice time talkibg I forgot to get her name! But I am including a pic of her I got off the website!

MD H This place does not even deserve one star. The staff is extremely rude and already frustrated when you have just walked in through the door and havent even said a word. They will treat you as if they are doing you a favor by you giving them your money for the absolutely terrible service they provide. I am tramaurized already by the few minute interaction I had. I had to say to my hairdresser “are you upset?” Bc she seemed annoyed before even greeting me and it procceded throughout the consult and she kept hurling weird untrue insults at me for no reason. This is not a professional place. These high reviews are probably bought bc the place is always empty and I can see why!! Please save your money and spare yourself the extremely hurtful treatment by going anywhere else but here. Just a terrible place with horrible service and attitude all around for no reason! Not one redeeming factor. They don’t deserve to carry even the cheapest product they carry bc they are giving the brand a bad name. The older lady who is probably the manager or owner seems to be a bully and angry and is taking it out on her potential client.

Form the first call to book the appointment to our experience with the stylist to the follow up, we were very pleased. My daughter and the stylist along well because she knew what my daughter wanted. They delivered the best service above and beyond my expectations. I would highly recommend them.

Ruby Sua The most horrible mani and pedi Ive ever had in my 46 yrs of life. Tanya ripped the dip powder off my nails because she said soaking them takes too long. Them the older lady was dabbing the nail polish instead of stoking it on. Worst experience ever.

Alicia Gallagher I got my hair bleached and dyed red with a haircut. The shop was clean and the people were nice. But I paid 300 dollars and expected my hair to stay red. I waited to wash my hair for 4 days after just to make sure it set. The first time I washed my hair the color changed to a hot pink. Now 2 weeks later my hair is strawberry blond. I am not happy.

Echa2743 Place is absolute garbage. I’d give it a 0 if I could. I was supposed to get a low fade with one inch off the top. That low fade ended up starting from nearly the top of my head and I got way more than an inch cut off. I looked hideous so I had to buzz my hair.

Z J The woman who answered the phone was rude, unhelpful and did not even indicate I was calling a business. When I asked if the number I called was correct, and if this was a hair salon, she rudely asked why I was calling. It was a bizarre interaction. I would take my business elsewhere if I were you. I certainly will be.

Nella Kassab The whole staff is extremely friendly, especially the owner! I get very nervous when it comes to cutting my hair because it is very thick and curly. My hair always comes out perfect after every cut and they have amazing prices! Only $10 for an amazing haircut no matter the length of your hair. They all know what they are doing and are great at what they do! I have never been disappointed when leaving the salon!

Julie Karn I went into this gorgeous salon to colour match my hair for my first ever set of BELLAMI clip-in extensions. The owner herself came to assist me, she was so friendly, helpful, super sweet, and perfectly matched my hair. I lucked out and they even had my exact colour in stock. The owner honoured the retail price and even included a free trim of the extensions! 10/10 experience, I will definitely be recommending Studio Kay to all my friends and family!

Polina Zubareva This salon is the worst thing that has ever happened to my hair. This is what I got when I asked for a U-cut. The stylist kindly curled my hair so I wouldn’t notice how badly they ruined it while I was in the salon. Once I got home and washed my hair, this is what I saw.

Dr. Jessica Kennington Awful customer service! Nobody to greet you when you walk in and another customer had to find the stylist. Even though I understand the one person there was booked they didnt even offer an appointment for later in the afternoon, on another day, or ask if I was willing to wait how long it would be. All I went for was waxing. I wont consider this place an option ever again. First impressions are long lasting.

Woman at the front desk came off rude and there’s is a line of almost black across my head.The front desk women said there was like a black streak across my hair so when I looked at the photo I had seen it and started panic honestly. When I got home and really looked at my hair I seen what she meant.Idk the front desk girl was nice on the phone but came across as rude to me when I was there I did get upset with her and I apologize for that I don’t like getting upset with people but she was making it seem like I had dyed my hair another time after I said I didn’t like I was lying. I even showed them a photo of my roots when I last dyed my hair and it wasn’t even half an inch long, the women at the front desk came off condescending and didn’t take any responsibility she said it wasn’t there fault but it was. Honestly I don’t recommend coming here not only because my hair has a black streak that I’m now going to have to get color corrected which will cost me even more but the women at the front desk customer service wasn’t good.Anyways Narine I’m sorry for coming off rude I don’t want to ever come off as rude to people who take their time to do my hair and put so much effort in we didn’t have a negative exchange but I did with the front desk lady and I just hope that Narine doesn’t feel bad or get in any trouble. Narine was great again I’m very sorry for coming off as rude in general to the girl at the front desk and Narine overhearing Narine was so kind and helpful. Here is a before and after of Narines work Update: The rude owner of this company replied in a rude way of course in yelp so implying I lied I am so shocked at how rude this owner is and how she will not take accountability she is blaming me still when I literally haven’t dyed my hair since then basically calling me a liar. I called to see if I can speak to someone above the owner she said no which is disappointing because she clearly doesn’t know how to speak to customers or believe customers. If you look at other negative reviews they also say she’s rude. It’s not my fault you guys screwed my hair up it’s your fault I haven’t dyed my hair since the last time I told you and even showed you proof take accountability. Terrible service I wish I can give negative stars truly don’t come here. Edit : I added a photo of my hair after less than a month it looked terrible. Also I would never come back here first of all so you don’t have to take it off the table lol.

Renata Pereira Lima Silva The hairdresser was in a bad mood, looked at me with disdain the whole time, wet my hair with water spray and barely cut the front of my hair. I asked to cut only the ends and without layers, which doesnt mean not touching the front of the hair. In the end, he used the hairdryer to blow his hair but came out with his hair wet from water spray. On top of that, I called and asked for the price, they told me $20, the hairdresser charged me $25 and an extra $1 for using the card. Bad experience and misuse of my financial resources.

michael quevedo Horrible. Used to be a good place to get a haircut as a kid now they act like its a chore asking for a cut and they all do not know how to cut hair or at least not anymore. Never is what I asked for and looks bad or Ive had always extra uncut hair from being lazy. Poor attitude and lazy staff sad to see but all good things come to an end just retire and close please. The customers are even worse a 60-70 year old man wanted to physically fight over me not seeing him behind me saying I closed the sliding door in his face when I still opened it for him saying what do I not have eyes lol I dont have eyes in the back of my head. But they took him in respectfully even though he acted as if he was a young disrespectful kid he even spit on someone trying to make whatever point across lol. Save yourself the money and spend the little extra Ill never step foot in here again

Frank Moreno BAD customer service, I have been a client of this salon for nearly 15 years and I will make sure I do everything I can to shed some light on the horrible customer service that exists here. The female stylist on the right hand corner as you enter denies service as she claims to be "too busy" to help you. She complains as she works and the rest of the stylists allow this to happen. What sort of business will tell you they are too busy to work? Thats not good business practice and even though they are the cheapest haircut around, Id rather pay double if not triple to get a haircut elsewhere to avoid Marielas Beauty Salon in Glendale.
