The barber who attended me seemed to lose his patience with me and he began to harshly cut my hair. He even left some small cuts on the upper left part of my forehead and a huge cut on the upper right. I’m never coming back here again.

SALSERO DeCorazon Wonderful! I went there last minute, late afternoon on Christmas day and they took care of me on the spot. The owner seemed very uncharged, keeping a good sense of business, doing small talks to customers, taking Phone Calls, welcoming customers, the place is small but it looked clean n presentable. I usually dont cut my hair just anywhere, but this was the only place open on that holiday, none the less, between the owner n the lady that ending cutting my hair, both gave me a good vibe to the point that Im definitely going back.

Jinnie Tam My experience with the service and staff is exceptionally great. I appreciate how knowledgeable Minnie is and trust that she knows what is good for my hair and how to get the best results whether its balayage, baby highlights, or full color change, etc. She is beyond talented and highly skilled. I have always been pleased with the Kerastase products that she carries in the salon and enjoy the benefits that come with using their line especially since they cater to colored hair treatment. I noticed that the color stays true and rarely fades before my next appointment. The tools that she uses are top of the line (e.g. custom scissors and Dyson hair accessories). She is busy so I make sure to book my next appointment with her at check out. The interior is kept clean and organized. The location has plenty of parking nearby.

Julie Ma Blanca is amazing! I had not had a haircut in so long. The last one I had was a bad experience so I was apprehensive about trying this new place but I needed a haircut ... desperately! Blanca was great at listening to what I needed, she made great recommendations and showed me pictures of what she suggested. The whole washing and haircutting experience was pretty awesome, I felt confident in her ability and in the end I couldnt be happier with the service and plan on coming back when I need my next haircut.

Emily Martin Please please please do not go here. There are several things that went wrong during the hour and a half it took to get my hair done. First things first, my hair was very light blonde and I wanted my roots darker to create an ombré look with the area in the face being lighter. Two different people were applying color to my hair, both on different sides. When it came time to wash my hair out, they used a toner which was left in my hair way too long. My blonde then turned into a gray smoky color. After my hair was washed, it was blow dried. It was blow dried BEFORE any product or heat protectant was used and BEFORE my hair was brushed and/or combed out. I didn’t realized how terrible my hair looked until I got home and had better lighting. I had color on my forehead and the color was SO BLOTCHY. There was no blending whatsoever and my roots were almost black while my ends were over toned turning from blonde to gray. I HATED IT! I felt like I couldn’t even go out in public with my hair up let alone down. I called the lady that did my hair and insisted something be done to attempt to fix it. I went back that night and the attempt to “fix it” still did not fix it. It looked horrendous. I have since had to find another hair stylist to fix my hair. Please please please do not go here. Clearly they do not know what they are doing. To top it off, the stylists were non compliant with masks and wearing them below their mouth down to their chins. Please do research and go to a salon that knows what they are doing. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone.

I was able to walk in and get cut right away. Price was hard for me to justify, but i guess you get what you pay for. I guess Im also cheap because my haircut is easy. Mary Ann (I think) who’s the receptionist at the salon was really nice and accommodating too. I’ve been searching for a good and very affordable hair salon near me and I will most definitely visit again when I need it. This salon is my new favourite!

Jessica Tru I came here for the first time to get my complete hair transformation. I had to call the number a few times and never got a answer, so I had to come in and make an appointment in person. Made an appointment with Julie, showed her what I wanted and she gave me a price which was reasonable. I wanted a blonde ombre, and a cut, she only charged me $135 or something like that. She was very talkative and friendly, walked through everything that she wanted to do with my hair. After a few hours later, total transformation, I loved how she did my hair. She styled it after cutting it too. I need another hairstyle soon, I gotta make an appointment soon to see Julie. Must come here and get your hair done, you will not be disppointed.

Lisa Felice This place is dope! I have thin hair and have always struggled finding a cut that works for me. I scheduled am appointment with Matt and he did amazing! My hair looks more think than it ever has, and everyone was really nice and informative. So glad I finally found a good hair place! The price was also wonderful. $52 total for a wash, cut, blow dry and $10 tip!

Jawad Baig Young Carlos is an amazing hair stylist! He helped me get a haircut and styling my beard. Had a very good experience. Really experienced and knows what he is doing. I would highly suggest taking an appointment with him if you need a haircut for men. The salon has a very nice ambiance, proper parking space and very good employees who know how to take care of their clients.

A rossie PLEASE DO NOT GET SERVICE HERE. Worst hair service and customer service Ive ever recieved. With Yolanda youll get a 1 size fits all; Ive never had a stylist not ask about size of highlights, part, or tone. She decided everything for me. Eventhough I can speak spanish she CHOOSE not no communicate with me. Went in to get my roots touched up. Walked out with ORANGE roots ( Yolanda said she would tone it. she used a permanent hair color and LIFTED ALL OF MY ROOT without asking), inconsistent highlights, areas all over my head that are missing highlights, over processed hair, and headache that has lingered for 4 days (fever one the 3rd). I tried to respectfully discuss that I did not like my highlights THE SAME DAY. Yolanda, the stylist, rolled her eyes at me and said she did a great job. Today I asked for a refund both her and the manager refused saying their service was great. I got professional consultation from two salons. One salon said it would take 6 HOURS of color correction to fix my hair. The other salon said they would have to work for 3hrs to TRY and correct color nd get even highlights. I will not be able to have ash blonde hair anymore because Yolanda decided to use a warm toned dye for my roots. BOTH salons agreed my hair is over processed and can not be touch for a minimum of a month or risk breakage. Yolanda wanted to correct my hair today meaning that she was not satisfied with her work and that my hair would of broke off if she did anything to it. THESE ARE NOT PROFESSIONALS.

I have been visiting her other salon location for years and have always been pleased with the outcome of my hair, I can be very picky about how I wish my hair to be styled and Sofia listens AND delivers. She is professional, pleasant and accommodating. BONUS POINTS - when my partner actually notices my hair and he asks if I’ve just had it done! Call Sofia - I think you’ll be happy that you did! WJW

key key C Well I spoke with the manager. About getting my sons hair braided. She said it was too short. So she recommended me to go back to her San Leandro business down there. We went down there the lady came to check my sons hair The length. And they said that they couldnt do it. Little bit disappointing. Because I feel like if you are brighter it doesnt matter what size of the hair in length it is you can do it. Thats all I have to say but.

Chrissy Tadiarca I went here and asked for a few warm highlights on my already naturally blonde hair and they took most of my hair and made it platinum. I was crushed. 10 years of not dying my hair and they ruined it. I stated it wasnt good and they tried to touch it up but made it worse. They hardly spoke to me, just spoke spa ish to each other whole time. Lady tugged a lot on my head and my neck felt bruised after. Sad part is, it was a gift and though I didnt pay, I felt bad for who did, cause they did not do a good job. This just gave me my confidence back to not go back to a salon ever for dying my hair. Now I will have to wait years before my natural tones come back. Not impressed.

Gagan Kaur Cute salon, everyone is friendly, maybe I went on a packed day but my stylist had food delivered and was hungry so wouldn’t go back and cut my hair shorter even after requesting it a few times. I wanted a lot more shorter layers. Still decent and I felt bad she was hungry, offered to wait but it was a fine haircuts nothing memorable. Go either before lunch or later way after lunch so stylist isn’t hungry!

I noticed today they offer facials so I may try that next visit. No strong chemical smells from perms, acrylic nails & anything else that burns your nose as you walk through the door of some salons. The owner, Tracy, told me she doesnt want customers to be uncomfortable with strong smells! So thoughtful & courteous! Thanks Tracy! Stephanie Clark I absolutely LOVE my new haircut from Tracy! It was my fist time here. I came in with wet clean hair and she cut it just like the photo I showed her. She cut it wet then blow dried then cut again to make sure it was just right. She really took the time to make sure it looked great. I have long hair and it was reasonably priced. Lizet Estrada Cute little hidden salon but not hard to find. I was very happy with the outcome of my highlights and color done by Monica. She made me feel relaxed and fed me a banana muffin! Loved the scalp massage! Came in with a picture of what I wanted and left pleased with my outcome. Will definitely go back to her once these roots start coming in again.

KAMAYA MOORE Most disastrous experience ever. Not only did she ruin my hair for my best friends wedding, she did more than that. She got my dudes number on the side and started dating him! I hear that seems to be a pattern with the owner Tina. Shes crazy and shouldnt even be in business. This lady is twisted. She insisted on doing my hair how she wanted. She did curl my 13 year old nieces hair for free that was cool.

Arnold Armstrong This salon did an excellent job on my hair. I got it washed (shampooed and conditioned) and then flat ironed. They took good care of me, and I have no complaints. The pricing ranged based on how much hair and length. Roughly about $55.00 for the whole process. I consider that a fair price for the work done.

Jiban Gurung Finally, I found good barber in San Lorenzo area. I am happy that I found them. You know it’s always a hard time to find a good barber. I can finally relax here. Here is my experience, I showed a picture on my phone and asked her if she can make that style , She said yes and started fading my hair. I recognized that she has the right skills. Anna was my barber, she is very nice and friendly. I recommend her to everyone. Good for everyone; kids, men and women.

Tynychbek Satybaldyev She did a horrible job! If you read this, please, do not go there. She cut my hair in 3 minutes and charged me for 30 dollars, and now I have to go somewhere else to get another haircut. What a waste of time and money.

Alejandro Valencia If you are proficient in Vietnamese your haircut will probably be better than mine. She didn’t understand me and messed up my hair. Pushed my head down with the comb instead of using words. I told her, she can just ask me to move my head. She continued with the comb push. Also, she cut too much. If you want a new surprising hairstyle that you didn’t want, this is the spot for you. Me on the other hand, I’m not returning.

Although its cash-only, they conveniently have an ATM on-site. I walked in for an eyebrow wax, while my boyfriend got a haircut, and we were both accommodated without an appointment. However, I’d recommend calling ahead to ensure availability. Tina took exceptional care of us, and all the staff were incredibly sweet. I highly encourage everyone to support this wonderful local business!

terah studges-owens I LOVE this salon. If you need to get your nails and feet done, ask for Linn. She the beautiful soul at the very first table on the right when you walk in. Linn is AMAZING!! She pays very close to detail and takes her time. I ALWAYS leave a satisfied customer.

Liz Dunning This little neighborhood salon is not pretentious, it’s perfect! I walked in, Friday 6:30, Becky took care of me right away. I had a mani/pedi on my natural nails. I love the way she shaped my nails, she wasn’t afraid to use some force getting my toe nails ready, (nothing I couldn’t handle). She gave amazing scrub and massage. I love that one client was getting hair cut/color and mani/pedi at the same with 2 techs pampering her like a queen! Techs and clientele were fun and sweet, I’ll definitely be back.

Dhrubajit and Parijat Datta The nails got off within 5days. Not a good glue. One of the nail broke from side. Quality is so poor. Uneven nails, finishing is not good. Not professional nails done at all. I am very unhappy with the work I paid $60for.. a big No about returning. I will never go back.

E Wlcek I came in to get a gel manicure with bare nails . She clean my cuticles and ended up cutting me . (I also noticed thatThey do not autoclave and sterilize their equipment) when I asked to look at the different gel colors, they handed me a book with a limited selection. I asked if they had other colors so they handed me the typical gel palette of pre-painted nails. I chose the color that I specifically wanted to match an outfit. When she started putting on the gel color, it started to separate and look a little funny and when I tried to say something about it, she just told me to never never mind and wait for the second coat. When she went to put the second coat on, it wasn’t going on well either, but then she still told me to put my hands under the UV light and as it dried It didn’t look right. She said that the nail polish was old and wasn’ setting right and proceeded to remove all of the gel nail polish. I now had to sit for another half an hour to get it all off. At this point I was late so I could not stay to finish and get a new gel polish. They tried to convince me to get a different color, but I specifically chose one of that color because I was going to match an outfit for an event. As I Decided to leave they wanted to charge me for the full gel manicure. I said I don’t have a gel manicure. I have bare nails that Still have the bad gel on them and they’re not completely clean. We had a discussion and they still wanted to charge me $35 and I said I’m not paying $35 because you trimmed my cuticles. Considering that I spent 45 minutes in that salon and came out with my nails looking worse than when I went in I would think that this would’ve been free, but they instead insisted that I pay. I said how much do you charge for just cleaning cuticles and they told me $25. I said I would not pay $25 for that considering that my nails look worse than when I came in. I ended up paying $15 so I could get out of there And get back to work.

Joan Falleiro Review is for fixing my nail only. I called many places and was told they are all busy. The person I spoke to could fit me in right a way to fix one broken, natural nail that was tearing halfway down. Unfortunately, this happens to me often because that one nail is thin. I’ve been to many places and they use the glue, the salt, tape, and the dip. The person that did my nail made the dip look very natural. It doesn’t look like the cleanest of places, but she did a great job.

MARTHA SERRANO I used to like going here and I would always ask to cut my hair a little but since I like it pretty long. I always ask for a taper and cut a little on the top and even showed the person the image. This time I had to get it with the person that no one likes to go. She did not even do the sides like I asked and she cut my hair very very short. When I noticed I told her I don’t want it too short and she just said ok and continued cutting it. It took a long time for me to grow my hair and she just messed it up.

Julie Ma April 2024 UPDATE: Haircuts are still bad. I asked for an above the shoulder hair cut and she refused to give it to me, cut my hair shoulder length at front and longer in the back. I should have walked then. I asked for layers - no. Its heavy at the bottom, literally like a roof shape. I asked for bangs and she asked if below my chin was the right length, wouldnt cut any higher. Kept telling me she doesnt want me to cry later about it. What did I walk away with? A Lord Farquaad haircut. 200% the worst haircut Ive ever received in my life. The 3 stars are for the main lady who KNOWS what shes doing. Unfortunately, there is another who has no clue how to cut hair. I wanted a haircut from my natural wavy hair BECAUSE I NEVER STRAIGHTEN MY HAIR. And this lady proceeds to straighten my hair, dead flat straight and then make blunt cuts that she kept cutting shorter because she was trying to even it out. When I washed my hair out it was noticeably uneven. If you do go here, dont accept anyone except for the boss lady. The other one cutting womens hair is useless.

Berica Gulbranson My ten year old daughter had her very long, course and tangled locks cut w/long layers and straightened a bit w/ a flat iron and looks beautiful and doesnt have to deal with all the tangles as much now that she got a few inches cut off and layers. I usually go here for a trim and they do a good job. The o ly reason I gave a four is because this last time I wanted a couple layers and ended up with a bob cut. I was asked and said, "No I do not want a bob. I want a couple layers and showed a photo". Hair grows out so I cant be that mad and next time Ill make sure to go to the lady who knows how I like my hair cut.

Rohini Manthri I had been to Salon V for permanent hair straightening. Tina gave me a clear overview and also did a great job. My long hair got a super straighten look. These ladies are hardworking and at the same time they do a professional job. I am very much convinced would always go here till Iam in Bay area. Tina is a great owner and customer friendly. I would recommend this Salon.

Rosario Borgna DONT GO HERE FOR A HAIRCUT. Mery did my hair and its the worst haircut ever. I showed pictures of myself with the style I wanted and she did something different, not only that but its short so there is no fixing it. Completely ignored what i asked for I should have believed the negative reviews, they were right!

David Quintanar Hard pass. Have you ever bought a bag of chips and the bottom is empty. Yes, that how my expensive haircut went. Atl east they did it with humar. Came for a haircut and hope I didnt leave with the flue. My hairstyles Erica kept coughing. We sometimes make bad decisions and today this was one bad decision to go their today.

Lil Sweets I usually take all 4 of kids here all the time but this time I only took my daughters my daughter wanted her hair long from the front and a little short from the back the lady that did her hair has short hair and wears glasses. She proceeded to cut my daughters hair and at one point she decided to use a some clippers on her, I didn’t think anything of it because I’ve seen videos where people to that to make the hair on length when we got home and I showered my daughter I notice that her hair was actually shaved off and it wasn’t even shaved off evenly. I never asked for her hair that short or to be shaved at the bottom my daughter started to cry . It saddens me because this was my go to spot and I will no longer be going to this salon because of this lady. I know her hair will grow back but the sadness in my daughter was not okay

Edgat Betancourt I just wanted something simple so that I can design them at home. I wanted coffin shape. If shape is horrible. The whole point was so that I didn’t have to do it myself now I have to waste a day filing and fixing this horrible set that cost me $55 and she was so rough they don’t prep their filing boards before they use it on clients cut me so many times I was bleeding

K. C. Went here for the first time. Pleasant experience. Friendly staff. Ms. Han did my pedicure, very patient and gentle. Nails look awesome. Got my first gel nails done. They look great! Con: did not see where and if equipment was sterilized between customers. Did not see any new packages being opened between customers. Would alcohol hands and feet down, just to be sure and safe. Overall: pleasant experience and will be returning.

Ms Lyons I’ve Been receiving services from this shop for years. Although they are nice most times, this shop is not perfect. Since Covid I’ve noticed they’ve been inconsistent with their prices and short cut their services. I’ve been getting the same service for years and I’ve noticed recently that my card has been charged different prices every time. I confronted the lady at the time working the register and she pretended not to understand. As if I’m a new customer and we’ve never interacted before. Received a mani and pedi over the weekend and the price went up again! $70! Last time it was $68, previous it was $66 I’m soo disappointed in this shop. It’s time to take my business else where. It was nice while it lasted.

J Negrón Reading the comments this place seems a bit shady. I asked for a simple pedicure, no chair massage. The lady was nice and friendly. At one point she started doing extra stuff that I didnt ask for. It was empty so I thought maybe it was because she was giving samples of what else they offered. She ended up charging me $35. I didnt even get the chair massage. Yes I could have asked why, but as a professional she should have not done that. Be careful not to get ripped off here. Too bad I liked the environment and services, because I will never go back.

Angel Broadnax My last time going today will be my last time going period....... You have to tell the lady to put the blue softer crystals in the water for your pedicure & I picked out the gel magical Mauve & got Barney Purple, I just spent $50 & I am not happy with my nail color.. very disappointing & the lady doing my gel manicure was not very pleasant & she kept pushing my hand, hella rude to put into the Gel drying machine. This is the first time I did not tip & I wont be going back after 4 months of going there.... Overpriced$$$$ & Bad Service
