Ingrid Rider Angie is amazing! Highly recommended! She is easy to converse with, her salon is always clean and inviting and my hair always feels and looks fantastic when I leave! She is honest and up front with you and has a passion for her job that you benefit from every time you leave the salon.

Jules Cabezud Thanks Angie for making me feel beautiful again! She managed to get the right blonde on the first try on my color treated, brown hair. Also gave me a cut I was happy with. Jamie Charles I began going to Angie about 8 years ago, when I was seeking a balayage and color expert. She is an absolute pro! At every appointment she takes the time to explain what service she will be performing, while also suggesting helpful options. I have always left her salon feeling incredible and very satisfied. Over the last (almost) decade I have referred SO many clients to her and she has treated them wonderfully. Angie is the best at what she does!

Kelci Bartee Angie is the BEST! I have never had hair extensions before and now Im obsessed. After canceling our big wedding due to Covid, we planned an adventure elopement in the forest. This was going to be just the two of us, so this meant I was going to need to do my own hair and makeup. I was terrified. But I figured, if I had hair extensions I could confidently style my own hair beautifully. I was referred to Angie after my originally booked salon closed down due to Covid and would not respond to me. This was a blessing in disguise because Angie was immediately responsive and squeezed me into her full schedule. Her salon is adorable and impeccably clean. She was far more knowledgeable on the extensions process and dos & donts. The photos below show my before & after hair and my self styled hair on the day of my wedding. Thanks to Angie I felt like a princess on my wedding day. My family and friends didnt believe that it wasnt my own hair. The color matched perfectly and Angie installed them perfectly to blend into my scalp. Their jaws dropped. I recently had the extensions removed. Angie was gentle with removing the tape and not breaking my hair. Im so grateful my hair still feels full and healthy after having used the extensions. Im so excited for my second round of use with the extensions. I have already scheduled my appointment. Angie is now my go to hair stylist. She genuinely cares about the health of your hair and wants to make you look beautiful. HIRE ANGIE NOW!

Alyssa Ruys Freitas It was our first time coming here my daughter is 5 and LOVED it. We had Stephanie cut and wash my daughter’s hair and it turned out wonderful. Alex and Stephanie are both lovely kind souls. We will be back for sure!

Jessica Cerami 10/10 would recommend. We brought our 18 month son here for his second hair cut (we took him to the “other” kid cutting place in town for his first and they butchered his hair) and we’re so impressed by the level of service and experience! Our son sat still for the entire cut and didn’t fuss once thanks to the amazing set up. The seats are all play cars and they have TV shows to distract the kids while they’re getting a haircut. Worked like a charm! The hostess was also great at blowing bubbles and helping to entertain him towards the end when he started getting squirmy. His cut is so cute and we’ll definitely be back again!

Kelsey Puccetti Gaby was so sweet and really took her time with my 4 and 2.5 year old. They both look so handsome thanks to her amazing haircuts! Highly recommend her, but all the stylists here are great! So happy to have found this place.

She makes the experience fun and stress-free—our son gets to pick which car, tractor, or plane to sit in, choose a show to watch during his haircut, and even decide between a lollipop or balloon when he’s done. Stephanie is truly gifted at working with kids. She’s patient, kind, and communicates clearly, making sure both parents and little ones feel comfortable. It takes a special person to cut children’s hair, and Stephanie is just that. El Cid I’ve seen Aliena/SodaJerkStyling for the past two years for coloring appointments. custom colors, fashion colors, color correction and recently natural and safe braids. she makes me feel welcomed and comfortable for each service. It’s been fun each session to see how my hair turns out. If you’re local to the area- you should hop in her chair! she’s a sweetheart :)

Jasmine Kahlon April does wonders with my cut! I appreciate the way she was able to transform an uneven cut that I originally came in with! The cut provided the perfect face framing I needed and grew out beautifully. She recently did my color and skillfully understood the color I was looking for and with so much grace executed exactly what I wanted. Her confidence in her work is very apparent which brings so much comfort when going in to get my hair done :)

Katie Kelleher My wedding was in October 2023, and I chose Aliena to do my hair and makeup for the day. I had been following her on socials for a while and thought this was the perfect opportunity to go ahead and book an appointment. I hadnt bad my hair professionally done since before 2020, and I had also been growing out my hair from a pixie cut (at about shoulder length around the wedding). The process was super easy, and Ali was really fun to work with. Created Pinterest and ainstagram boards for inspiration and shared them with her before the makeup and hair trials. I already had planned on getting extensions so we mapped out a schedule and booked multiple appointments so that I had may hair cut bleached and toned and my makeup trial and then had my extensions installed and my hair trial a different day. Then, I planned to meet at the wedding venue the day of. I was super nervous about what to expect, but Ali really put me at ease. She always checked to see if I liked the direction things were going and was really open to feedback. Im not a regular lash wearer, but I wanted to wear a set for the wedding day during the trial she brought multiple sets and tried them out to see which would stay best. Im not a big cryer, but Im sensitive to temperature changes and wear contact lenses, so my eyes water super easily. She went out of her way to find the best fit. Shes super easy to talk to and has endless creative ideas. (Not pictured), but she also did my moms hair and makeup for the wedding, and it came out wonderful! The salon itself is really laid back and welcoming its bright but soft. The seats are really comfy and the decorations are beautiful and the ceiling is really high, like cathedral ceiling high. There was tea, coffee, or water offered, which was welcoming, and the vibes between the stylists are all really chill. Everyone was so so impressed with how my hair and makeup turned out. Working with Aliena was one of my favorite parts of planning the entire wedding.

audrey guns I can’t say enough good things about Tavia! Not only is she an incredibly talented stylist, but she’s also patient, kind, and always up for the challenge of my ever-changing requests. Whether I want a subtle refresh or a bold transformation, she delivers flawless results every time. Beyond her skill, she has a way of making every appointment feel like a catch-up with a close friend. She listens, advises, and genuinely cares about making sure I leave feeling confident and happy. Bianca Asaro I drive here from San Anselmo to get my hair cut and highlighted by Michelle. She does the BEST curly haircut every time without making it an all day experience (like so many curly cuts can be). My hair looks amazing every time and still looks great even when Im due for another cut/layer. Plus the salon is all about clean ingredients and sustainability which is a huge plus for me. As long as the Moon Room is here I will not be going anywhere else.

Stephanie Oefinger Ruth has been cutting and coloring my hair for the past 8 years. She listens to what I want and then makes suggestions to make my idea translate well on me. Ruth has always been patient with me and my crazy coloring ideas. I always get compliments on my hair, in fact total strangers have complimented me on my hair. I recommend Ruth to anyone who is looking for a great hair stylist, you won’t be disappointed.

Wendy Barton I have been seeing Ruth for about 10 years, she cuts and colors my hair. I have fine hair, and Ruth works wonders with it. I am a creature of habit, and want the same exact cut and color every time, Ruth delivers spot-on. Its amazing to me actually, how she can cut and color my hair exactly as I want, consistently! Sometimes I get a bug in my bonnet to trim my own bangs in between visits, and Ruth is patient with that too. After all these years, shes never gotten frustrated with that bad habit of mine!

Nancy Miersma When I moved to Petaluma from Michigan six years ago, I was more concerned about finding someone to color and cut my hair than I was about finding a doctor or dentist...YES, Im that particular about my hair!! Fortunately for me, Ruth was the first call I made. I knew right away that we would "hit it off" personally and Ive entrusted my hair to her ever since!! Her prices are VERY reasonable and I love going to see her every four weeks!! Ruth is a great stylist and a great person!!

Elizabeth Sanders I’ve been here a couple of times to have my hair trimmed. The staff members do a great job and are quite friendly. So far, I’ve not had to wait more than a couple of minutes for service. Very affordable so make sure you tip well!

Mary B Last time I went to Supercuts on N. McDowell, I worked with Luis, who gave me an excellent haircut. He has been at this shop for as long as I can remember. Ive been going there, exclusively, for at least 5 years. That means he has tons of experience cutting all kinds of hair! My hair has changed consistency a lot in the last 5 years, but he (and any one of the stylists at this location) always provides expert haircutting. They do exactly what I ask for, they check in with me about how theyre doing along the way, and they follow the intricacies of the way my hair grows. All of this adds up to a great haircut every time I go there, no matter who works with me. Trust any one of the stylists at this location!

Julie J Lindy is amazing at determining which looks and techniques work best for how the client wants their hair to turn out. I came in with a picture of my ideal look and she worked with me to identify the best way to achieve it.

Zeneida Boyd I have been wanting a certain layered cut for YEARS! Many have tried, all failed. Then I met MAX! He LISTENED to me, really took the time to "meet" my hair and gave me the cut of my dreams. I left looking like a hair model. Kendra Spicher Niki is amazing! Ive been in to see her a few times now and she nails it every time. Most recently, she added highlights to my hair and I got exactly what I wanted based on just a few photos and my own vague description. The other hairdressers and the people working at the front desk have also always been friendly from what Ive noticed. Highly recommend!

Rovee Go Son has not had a haircut in 7 months. He is very picky about how his hair is styled. Max did an awesome job. Son loves his new haircut.

J Bink If you weighed all my fine, thinning hair, it might make an ounce. But Jesse and Max at Petaluma Hair Company managed to make it look thick, casual, younger. Their sublime scissor skills, the high quality of the product on PHCs shelves (R&Co), and their coaching on how to use them (sparingly-- theyre not cheap but they fight above their weight) perform the magic. I feel better when I look in the mirror than I used to. Owner Jesy--whose husband Roman designed the salons logo, greenery-themed decor, and built the visually warm and woody work stations--is welcoming, smart, interesting and fun to talk to, very good at her job. I bounce back and forth between her and the equally gifted and brightly friendly Max, because theyre both so nice to talk with. The front desk staff is adorable: two friends, Marissa and Maddie, both on-it and professional yet super-likable. They happily complete a beautiful picture.

Pat OBrien Ive had two appointments with Niki...and shes the BEST! I have curly, wavy, thick hair thats graying & needed taming. Niki gave me the perfect pixie. She listens, takes her time & the result is a beautiful cut. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The salon itself has also recieved a substantial makeover of its own featuring a fun welcoming new color scheme, new equipment & furnishings, layout, & revamping of services available, some of which are hair, nails, coloring, & waxing. Janette has really changed my hair mindset with top quality products, cuts, and color. Karrie is such a warm, creative person and she always reminds me that taking care of myself is a priority, not a luxury with her restoring pedicures. Amazing full service salon that is always educating themselves on the next thing for their client .

Jimena Sandoval This was the worst experience. My first red flag should have been that I called for an appointment and she asked me to just come in and wait. I am not picky about my haircuts. I don’t have a designated hairstylist. It’s just hair and it grows, but I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she didn’t even bother to take 5 minutes to look at the image and try to emulate it in any way. She took approximately 5 minutes to cut my hair. She used a machine to cut my hair about an inch at the neck and the rest of my hair is longer. After she finished the fastest haircut of my life, she said she was done and she hadn’t even cut my bangs so I asked her if she could please do it like the picture I showed her. She asked to see the picture again because she hadn’t taken more than 30 seconds to look at it the first time around. She proceeds to not even wet my roots so my bangs can lay flat on my head and she can cut them evenly. I had to fix them when I got home. I never write reviews, but this was the worst money I ever spent.

F Mendoza Hanna is so sweet. She got me in right away and trimmed my hair. I love it! Shes very kind and has affordable prices, which is very rare these days. Ill definitely go back again, and recommend her!

Timothy Lease Looking for a haircut one afternoon and another stylist suggested I see Hanna, as she was closed. Havent looked back. Have had several cuts with Hanna. Most of the time I am very happy, and have not ever been totally disappointed as I have with some barbers. Fast, no frills, unless you ask, ie shampoo. Her fee is very conservative. Always leave a generous TIP!

Phuong Lu I got a haircut, and Balayage (in the photos) with Hanna. I got so many compliments with my new hair! Hanna is a great and very talented hair stylist. The price is also very reasonable. Please come and experience it yourself!

Scott Stevens Had a great experience getting a haircut which really looked good. Friendly staff, walk-ins welcomed, reasonable prices. Another great haircut in a beautiful shop including the massive metal sculptures created by the owners. Massive but delicate as one is of an American flag flying in the wind! Worth a visit just to view the shop!

Maple Robinson This place was NOT what I was expecting! When I went with my mother we both wanted simple cuts and when I got my cut it was completely wrong and I cried because my hair looked nothing like I wanted it too and my mother got her haircut and one side of her hair was longer and the other side shorter!!! Will not be coming back!

Nancy Pineda SF Edit: I went back to see if I could get a refund. Instead they wanted to fix it for me...she did the best she could, but its extremely hard to fix what ended up being a bowl cut from the get go. I was nervous to do it, but I agreed to try. While its still better than before, its the haircut that Im not necessarily happy with, and not what I wanted. The ladies were nice, both times. I just wish it didnt feel rushed. --- Horrible haircut... I asked for bangs and I ended with one of the worst haircuts Ive ever gotten. I went in with a good cut to completely regret it.

I can just wake up and call to see whats available if nothing available I can just pop in the next day. Its very convenient because different stylist specialize in different things. siva pallu I recently visited Adore Hairdressing and Nora helped with the haircut. I was extremely disappointed with the services I received. The haircut I received was uneven and poorly styled, and the customer service was lacking. Upon arriving at the salon, I was not greeted warmly and felt rushed through my consultation. The stylist "NORA" did not seem interested in my input and seemed to be in a hurry to finish the cut. As a result, the final product was unsatisfactory and required additional styling at a different Salon. I would highly recommend you to find a different one to begin with so you dont have to go through the same pain I had to. Furthermore, when I expressed my disappointment with the cut, the Nora was unapologetic and dismissive of my concerns. Overall, the experience was extremely frustrating and I would not recommend this salon to others.

Rebecca Mendez I have been going to Nori for few months now, her expertise n fun loving attitude is infectious! I have curly hair and she always knows exactly how to color n cut my hair. Highly recommend!

Angela Sabatino I hadnt had a professional hair it in over 6 years. Nori was knowledgeable and kind. She did a fantastic job on my almost waist length (when wet) curls without taking too much length off. I can definitely recommend her if you have very curly hair. I will be back.

She gave me a custom cut based on my unique curls, my lifestyle and my face shape. She walked me through her process and and gave me a regimen that is very easy to follow! I have had a ton of curly cuts and this was one of the best. Nori is also very welcoming and kind. I love the products and scheduling was very easy. Will be back soon!

Christian Beyer Bad day today, online kept changing times to arrive initially 46 min, when I arrived it went from a couple minutes to over an hour. The app doesnt configure with what the shop can do. Waste of time. They should think about major upgrades to their scheduling and technology that they use before they continue making customers miss their appointments and wait around and then not going to haircut. They cook good hair though usually.

Joshua Walker Ive gone here many times, and always had a great experience, except this time. Irene called me up and asked how I wanted my hair. I should have known not to trust her to cut my hair when I saw how bad the little boys hair was that she had just finished cutting. I told her I wanted it longer on the top and the sides tapered down to a 2, then the back square with rounded off corners. She did the taper well on one side, but the other side was a 2 all the way up to my crown. She cut the back into a weird shape and I had to ask what shape she was doing because it felt wrong. It wasnt even close to what i had asked for. I had to tell her the top was INCREDIBLY uneven and my bangs were about an inch different in length from left to right. She had the audacity to argue with me and say thats just how my hair is, even though she seems to be the only one who has had these problems with my hair. Then she washed my hair with cold water and brought me back to the chair. Then she tried to fix some of her mistakes, and put gel in my hair (that I didnt want or ask for). I realized she wasnt going to be able to fix my hair and was now trying to cover it up with gel and told her I was done. She knew it was bad so she didnt charge me. Now I get to go home, shower, and have my wife fix it. Long story short, sport clips is great. Just dont let Irene go anywhere near your hair.

Jennifer Tokarski Inside decor is clean and looks upscale. Not impressed with their pedicure. A friend and I called ahead for reservations and they were busy when we got there. We just had to wait a few minutes. They rushed through our pedicures and it felt like we were on a pedicure assembly line. Pedicurist rushed and trimmed my cuticles too far down, which is still tender days later.

Anna Novikova I do my own manicure and pedicure, tried a lot of different places and salons, all the same: do not listen for your requests or simply do not a great work..... Yesterday decided to save some time and get it done first time in 3 years.... My friend recommended this salon, only good things about it... so I went... Place looks great inside, the front desk lady was quite nice as well, then I got seated and two ladies started the work... as for pedicure, the lady was nice but completely disregarded my comments, left nails of different length.... The manicure "professional" even though she seemed like she knows a lot about nails and was advising my pedicure lady on how to manage things, did the sloppy work... trying to do all the nails at once, well! News flash: gel is thick and tend to roll to the side youre leaning your finger to... so I spoke up... not only that she laughed in my face she made sure everyone who worked there knew what a stupid thing i said..... so i just watched and listened what they have to say and how they were trashing me in their native language, another news flash: i dont have perfect understanding but i did get a general idea of what they were talking about and what they were calling me!!! unacceptable!!! Youre all just hoping that no one can understand you..... Nails turned out bumpy and have bubbles in the gel... very poorly done! NOT coming back and DO NOT recommend it!!! Unless youre OK with ppl being rude and trash talk about you in your face!.... not worth it...

Dawn Callahan I’ve been a regular at Beauty Zone for a couple of years, as has my daughter. The salon is bright, well appointed, and has Wi-Fi. Their massage chairs are comfy and they have a wide variety of paint colors to choose from. The team is friendly and fast. My daughter always has special designs she wants done and they are always accommodating. A great neighborhood find!

Holly S. I was able to get in for a gel manicure without much of a wait. This is one of the best gel manicures i have haf in a very long time. I get them about every 3 weeks and have tried 4 different nail artists(different nail salons, not here) the last 4 times with this last one being so great. They were also able to fit me in for. Lip wax at last minutes request. Again one of the best lip waxes I have recieved in a while and the thing that probably bumps it up to 1st place was that the price has been the most affordable. Great wax for less. Great and long lasting gel manicure. The salon its self is so cute i love how they have decorated the place. I will be back in a week or two for another gel manicure.

Mary Cruz I’m so happy that a friend referred me to Keith a few years ago! I had tried several places in Petaluma and could not find anyone who cut my pixie exactly the way I like it, until I found him. Whenever I decide to change it up a bit, he listens, looks at the pictures I show him, and makes the proper adjustments. Keith is awesome!
