As a hair stylist myself I know How hard it can be to see an inspiration photo and try to deliver something close to it. Hollie Vendrick Well, first let me start by saying if we could give zero stars we would. My mother-in-law came into this salon with the impression that she would have a outstanding experience by the "wonderful Jolene" herself. Who says she has 17 years experience with doing hair and extensions. It was to my mother-in-laws understanding that she stands by her work. But after spending her hard earned money of $2,500, she was left with tangled, cheap, straw hair. And after the extensions were put on her head, with only 4 washes, her hair looked like tangled fishing line. It was unbrushable, and was the cheapest quality of hair she had ever had. She was absolutely horrified when she took a family vacation to Hawaii, where her hair extensions were hanging off back of her head. After making contact to see if "Jolene" would stand by her work, what she had originally told my mother-in-law in the beginning, she was shut down and left with no hair. We want to let everyone know to not trust this woman, or salon. If she gets the chance, she will take your money, run, and block your phone and number.

BayAerialDrone 2017 This was my first time to the L Squared Salon since I relocated to Santa Rosa. I Loved it!! I thoroughly enjoyed this bright comfortable classy salon vibe. Nadalie put my mind at ease right away with her professional opinion and a great consultation.The L Squared Salon have very good hair products too, like Bumble and Bumble. As you can see I have long thick hair. I am crazy about keeping my long hair so I was nervous to see a new hair stylist. I am normally 75-100% full grey/silver at my root. Nadalie touched up my root and popped in some highlights. She has an absolutely amazing warm personality too. I am sooooo happy with the outcome. I was really worried about finding a new salon in Santa Rosa. Nadalie totally resolved that issue for me. Thanks a bunch! NO editing My hair picture is true color hues.

Susanna has been cutting my hair for years and has always given me a great cut and helped me find different styles for the years I have been going to her. Alec Grant If you’re looking for a good haircut.. this is a great place to go! Kristine was my barber. I made the appointment not too sure of what I was looking for, but Kristine gave a really good suggestion. I ended up walking out with one of the best haircuts I think I’ve gotten so far (seriously). I appreciated that thoughtful touch from the barber, felt like she was as invested as me in the haircut! Easy to talk to staff, great atmosphere, cool aesthetics, yet professional, skillful, and a team that is passionate for their work. The hot towel shave and hair conditioning wash is solid too. Michaela wright started cutting my hair a while back and has done an outstanding job ever since she started cutting and styling my hair. I do appreciate the quality the shop maintains and it is very welcoming.

Not Me My stylist Rachel was very sweet. I went from having very long hair to a short cut, and at the moment I felt very overwhelmed by the change and that it didnt turn out how I wanted. Simply because I have very flat/straight hair. She invited me back the next day once I was able to figure out what I needed to change, she listened very well and took the time to adjust so I was happy with it. It was very refreshing to have a stylist be so patient and understanding. Sometimes as women a big change can sometimes be a lot and she was very kind to me in my moment of distress even if I wasnt the kindest myself.

Ayala Levine Holly is the best! She understands color soooo perfectly and really communicates all the options. She recently helped me change my hair color from blonde to this rich brown. Also the space is super cute and clean, parking is really easy and the prices seem very very fair. Ive been going here for about a year and while I dont know the names of any of the other stylists you can tell they all really get along... The energy in the space is fun and easy going and it feels very relaxing to be there.

I had bad experiences before and I gave up and started doing it at home but finding TWAYLA & CO on my google search changed everything. Ive been with my same hair person for 8 years, but I was going to miss my appointment and the grays are real so I felt like I was taking a leap of faith going to someone different. My hair is bright copper, outside of the natural range. Amber did a perfect job matching the color so my roots are seamless. She is also a lovely person to chat with. If Im still here next month Ill be happy to book with her again. Bonus points to Ritual for having transparent pricing on the website. Theres nothing fun about learning at check out that your nice new hair costs 3x more than you expected it to.

thuy pham I have been looking for a new salon to go to for a while. I’ve gotten some decent haircuts throughout the years and then some bad ones. But I haven’t ever gotten a haircut I really truly loved, and this spans almost 10 years. So I decided to go to Ritual and give them a try. I saw Matthew who was the nicest and sweetest person ever. He asked me questions about my hair journey and what I wanted done that I’ve never been able to get from other stylists. He was mentoring someone while I was there so I heard all the instructions he was giving her and even I understood it all! The girl assisting him was so nice also and gave me a scalp massage during my shampoo. I can’t stress enough how happy I walked away that day. Matthew was amazing, I absolutely love my hair and I haven’t been able to say that in years! I’d give 10 stars if possible

a.h.b I’ve had two separate appointments here recently, one for a cut and one for a color and I am so pleased with the results. I got a cut with Lex, who did an incredible job and I loved her attention to detail. She listened to what I wanted and made sure to do any fine tuning that was needed to make my haircut flow nicely. I also got my partial highlights touched up by Noelani, who also put out incredible work and made my hair color look seamless. Overall very pleased with this salon!

Jinx My name is Michael, up until covid I shaved my head for 18 years. Covid came, and I stopped shaving and I grew ahead of hair somehow someway. I went to three different places and got three different bad haircuts. Then I walked in a total revue on a recommendation, and I was told to come back in 2 hours at 4:00. And Im so thankful I did. Isabel cut my hair exactly as I asked, Im very happy with my haircut. And I will make sure it Isabel will be the only one that cuts my hair from here on out. I hope shes okay with that. Adriana Lovegood I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Shelby for haircuts and reiki sessions for a few years. I was initially drawn to the salon based on the inclusive and intimate environment they described on the website. I was not disappointed! The salon has become a peaceful sanctuary for self care time. Shelby has always been able to achieve exactly what I request. She has also taught me haircare tips through the years that have dramatically helped repair my damaged hair. The reiki sessions accompanied with the scalp massages have been rejuvenating for the body and soul. I can’t recommend Shelby enough! I leave the chair feeling beautiful, inside and out!

Ashley Ray So lve been to Sparrow Hair Co twice now. First time I saw Dulce. I really enjoyed my time with her and the finish of my hair. Second time I saw Natalie and she also does an amazing job. I wanted to go back, but I believe Im not going to anymore due to a bad and uncomfortable experience. I kept it to myself and acted as if It didnt happen. I truly wish I spoke up to the owner out of respect to myself but I didnt. I never write reviews but Im writing this review to protect others. I came into the salon that day not well. Dealing with a lot inside physically and mentally. I wanted to cancel but I didnt want to screw over Natalie so I went. It was just Natalie and the owner Shelby that day. Natalie I were conversating quite a bit having open conversations with eachother getting to know eachother. Shelby had nothing to do since a client bailed. She was watching her do my hair and listening to our coversation. She eventually got talking to me also. I really felt welcomed and comfortable until I was left to sit in my chair and have the dye in my hair sit. They both went behind this wall area where they have all the supplies. I heard Shelly say she didnt care for me. Natalie spoke up quick and said she liked me and enjoyed conversating with me. Then Shelby said I was someone with too much trauma. As you could imagine i felt very uncomfortable and very upset. I never in my life had that happen to me in a salon. It was very unprofessional and uninviting. lopened up about certain things about myself and my life out of trust. Only to be gossiped about behind a wall in which I could clearly hear everything. To hear someone say they didnt care for me because they think I went through a lot of trauma is sickening. A lot of people been through a lot of traumatic things. That does not make them less of a person. In conclusion I will not surround myself in that atmosphere ever again. If youre reading my review I hope this never happens to you and I hope this will never happen again in the salon. I guess its time to find another place I can fully trust and feel welcomed. I will be bringing my service elsewhere.

Valeria McCarroll Shelby is a wavy hair genius. As someone who is *incredibly* picky about wholl Ill let cut my hair, I found Shelby after two years of continuing to commute down to the East Bay to get my hair cut... and she has beyond exceeded my hopes and dreams! I will get compliments on my haircut months afterwards (proving that a good haircut really does grow in well!). 10/10 would recommend!!
