Ashley Palbicki Kathy was absolutely amazing! I couldnt have been happier with my wedding day makeup. I had initially been planning on going to MAC to get my makeup done... they were horrible.. Salon be was only 10 minutes away from my venue. After looking at their website and seeing pictures of other brides, I could tell that they would do a great job. I choose the airbrush makeup application and it looked amazing. I cant recommend these ladies enough! Thank you for making me look amazing on my wedding day!

Avery Bedard I hired Salon be to do the makeup for my wedding day, and Im so thankful I did! Kathy and Eryn did the makeup for 7 women and myself. They were such a pleasure to have in the bridal suite the morning of the wedding! They kept the tone in the room fun and light-hearted. Their work was beautiful and they managed to make everyone look like an elevated version of themselves. No one had any cakey makeup or looked out of place. And the best part - my makeup looked great even at the end of the night - despite wedding day tears, sweat and dancing all night long! Id happily encourage anyone in the Tahoe/Reno area looking for makeup services to hire Salon be! Their professionalism and talents are crucial to have on your wedding day.

Andrew & Katie I had a wonderful experience using Salon Be for my wedding! Beautiful hair and makeup services by Kathy and Eryn. I am VERY happy that I did a hair trial (I’m less particular about makeup, so I didn’t do a trial for that). Kathy and I spent about 2 hours together in the salon tweaking my hairstyle until we found just the right look; I was super impressed and grateful for the amount of time she spent with me during the trial. I am not local to the area, so I scheduled my trial for 4 days before the wedding. It was absolutely worth it, and I would highly recommend this for any Bride! For future brides: I had scheduled 45 minutes per service per person, but I might suggest adding an extra 15 minutes to your Bride services if you have a strict timeline. We were running a little tight on our makeup schedule by the end of the morning.

Cally Moore Marianna was amazing! She is truly a gem! She styled our incredibly thick hair flawlessly. Our makeup enhanced our best features. I would recommend her every time!

Jill Hahner Marianna was absolutely wonderful! I would definitely recommend her for all your hair and makeup needs. I was so impressed with her enthusiasm. During my trial, she made sure to ask plenty of questions to get to know myself and my preferred style. The day of my wedding was magical. My hair had never looked better and my makeup was gorgeous. Marianna is a very sweet lady who genuinely cares about her clients and I’m so glad I found her. I plan to book with her again for any of my future photo shoot and event needs.

Lana Sheta Marianna did makeup and hair for me and my bridesmaids and she was completely lovely! We had an early wedding and she was willing to climb the 5 flights of stairs to our condo at 6:50am to make sure that we had plenty of time to get ready. Marianna was friendly, efficient and responsive to our requests for modifications!

Samantha Fernandez Marianna did such an amazing job for my wedding! She used airbrush make up that came out so great. I emphasized how much I wanted a natural look because my (future) husband loves my natural look. He said he had a hard time trying not to cry when he first saw me walking down the aisle! Everyone kept complimenting on how amazing I looked and what such a beautiful bride I made and I attribute that to Marianna. Thank you for excellent work and detail!

Paula Lomax Marianna was wonderful. I brought a picture of the hairstyle I wanted and she nailed it. She made my makeup look natural but refined. My wedding pictures turned out absolutely perfect. A great experience!

Skye JP! Im a new customer who has been going to LAtelier for the past 18 months. The proprietors and stylists are creative AF, hilarious, and they are wizards with hair. The vibrant decor of the salon matches the personalities there. I always look forward to my appointments as a relaxing respite where I know I will have a good time, or at least find myself laughing out loud, while my hair is perfected.

Jenna Marie Andrews Love this salon and Alice! The location is beautiful, clean and modern. I love how it is tucked away but still very popular! Make sure to make an appointment, as they book out fast. Worth the wait. Ive been seeing Alice for about a decade and I am always happy with my results.

Kelley Hopper Michelle is the best. The shop is really cute and super clean. I’ve been getting my hair done by Michelle for a lot of years and have never been disappointed.

Sarah Jones Shelly is the best stylist I have ever been to. She listens to what I want and delivers every time. L Altelier is chic and quaint, every visit is a positive experience.

Sarah Balasanian Michelle is so sweet. She does an amazing job with my hair. This place requires masks and complies to the rules set in place by the Governor (for those who are concerned about that sort of stuff). Its a cute little spot. I fully recommend.

Nicole Levesque AMAZING - I come to Tahoe once a year and always go to the spa a few times as my treat. The spa I previously went to closed, so after doing some research and reading reviews I gave Biospirit a shot and I was NOT disappointed! My 90-minute massage was HEAVENLY! Loren was my therapist and she really listened during our consult and delivered an exceptional experience. I am going back today for my final spa day while on vacation and am confident that the I am going to have an amazing experience. Would HIGHLY recommend

Dillan Lindon I recently had my first massage here, and it was absolutely wonderful! Its the best I’ve felt in a long time. The space was incredibly clean and radiated a cozy, calming energy. I felt completely at ease and was able to relax fully. The overall experience was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Peggy Cantfil Lovely spa had an excellent body glow sugar scrub… Got all the barnacles off. Massages are lovely. Wanted a firm foot reflexology While was a pleasant foot rub it fell short Of my expectations for my tired feet, not true reflexology as advertised.

Bri Freeman I had a lovely massage with Jennifer. She is very talented and the massage was maybe the best I’ve had. She’s very professional and has a comforting and welcoming presence. The lady working at the reception was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere of the spa is cozy and clean. I’ve had facials there in the past as well and always have a good experience. I will be back soon!

Erika Rendino The spa was impeccably clean and had a cozy, inviting ambiance that immediately put me at ease. The front desk staff went above and beyond to be attentive and welcoming, ensuring I felt cared for throughout my visit. As far as the massage, I had requested a 90-minute deep tissue massage, but unfortunately, the experience was very underwhelming. The massage fell far short of expectations, barely qualifying as a standard massage. It felt like the longest 90 minutes of my life and was totally not worth the $215 I paid, including the tip.

Elizabeth Hiner I tried Paradise Beauty Salon mostly for its easy location. After my appointment, I was thrilled with my hairstyle and the price! Eva took the time to talk with me and find out exactly what I wanted to do with my hair. She made great suggestions and followed through with a great cut and weave. I love the atmosphere and friendliness of the ladies who work there. I highly recommend this jewel of a salon!

Mila G I booked this salon for a formal event and was very happy to see all of the positive reviews, I had hoped I would be among them. I paid just under $400 to have my hair and makeup completed for the event. Positive - The owner was incredibly kind and seems to truly care about her clients. She was very empathetic and kind to me and I enjoyed our conversation. They offer you beverages and home-made cake, which is very courteous. This is why I felt 3 stars was appropriate. Negative - I ended up having to fix my hair and makeup after I left the salon, and it took me about 45 minutes of me working with the result to get closer to the look I had hoped for. I was given false eyelashes for the event, and when I got back to my hotel I realized they were not fully glued down and werent placed close enough to my lash line, and there was an obvious gap. One of the lashes was already hanging down and completely detached on the side closest to my nose. Thankfully, I had brought glue with me and was able to pull both off and fix them prior to the event, gluing them down a second time and closer to my lash line. Although my foundation looked ok, I wasnt asked if I wanted any eyeliner or mascara prior to the lashes being placed. Without eyeliner or mascara, the false lashes looked more obvious. After the lashes are placed, it can be trickier to add these on. I was able to add both after removing the lashes and replacing them back at my hotel. Overall, I had a positive experience, however I hope to recommend that they take more care in making sure lashes are glued on properly and secure before their client leaves the salon. Also, asking the client before gluing on lashes if they would like eyeliner or mascara for their look.

She listened to exactly what I wanted and was collaborative with her ideas - I truly felt beautiful leaving the salon. P.S. If you have a sweet tooth, they have delicious cake as well.

KAITLAN REYES Bliss Salon is by far the best Salon I have ever been to. I take good care of myself and I demand only the best in my beauty services. I have been a 14 year client of Bliss where I know I have the best in the field for my manicure, pedicure, hair and skincare. All of the ladies who work at Bliss are so friendly. I highly recommend them. Be sure to book appointments in advance!

Murillo Pontual Wonderful park at the heart of South Lake Tahoe. The park has many attractions: kids playground, dog parks, bbq pits, sliding hills, etc. Parking is easy to find. I highly recommend it.

E H Nice meadow with sights of coyotes. Great spot for off leash dog walking but keep them away from coyotes obviously. Beautiful sunset views of Freel.

Within 40 minutes of going to the website I walked out with a nice haircut at a good price. They were friendly and welcoming as well.

The barber there did a horrible job on my son‘s hair. We left with him in tears and never wanting a haircut again. We decided to try to find someone who could fix this catastrophe and, as faith would have it, we walked into Just Kuts. Sarah, who previously worked at Just Kuts moved out of state and has now returned was taking walk-ins today. Lucky for us the universe heard our cries for help and sent us this awesome human being. She easily and quickly fixed his hair and we left with a smile on his face. Thank you Sarah for saving the day. Casey Costa This stylist trash talks people to her clients, not only is her lack of professionalism a problem; she’s has a few run ins with the law as well. Her hair extensions look like a wet mop. It’s definitely not the place I’d recommend to anyone with class or of value.

Christopher Houston I stopped by to have the back of my neck cleaned up and there’s no one in the shop and the door is locked. The guy opens the door and looked at me annoyingly and I asked him if he wouldn’t mind just cleaning up the back of my neck. The guy grunts and rudely answers me that he’s gonna charge me $20 to shave my neck.. this guy is a joke. Wouldn’t recommend

Ron Billy When I got home my GF said "looks like he didnt finish your back, and why is it so uneven?" For 10 years I usually come home to a, "you look nice/sharp/clean or fitted." Sad to say, this is just an old guy who takes over an hour to cut your hair. Youll find him repeating the same jokes/story/anecdotes. He loves gossiping and definitely has an opinion about how things use to be, and how it could and should be. Meanwhile, showcasing barber alzheimers. Will stop cutting to rant about something and then pick up in a completely different spot on your head, the most caddywompus fade ever. I have hair thats longer than clippers everywhere, my sides have uneven patches all over. Cant even put product in my hair and style it cause of how poorly my hairline around the crown is. One side has a 1/2"+ flat top type blend into the crown. How is my hair so long and blended when I specifically ask for #3. I have never had so many flyaways / uncut hair / mistakes after a barber shop visit.

Gina D. We are here out of town looking for a haircut for our son. We were greeted by a cold, miserable woman who clearly didnt want our patronage. My husband walked out as quickly as he walked in. She had no desire to help us find a time to come back or to schedule a cut. We tried to go to Boyds hair cut salon but she was busy until Tuesday and actually RECOMMENDED this place. I dont think anyone should be recommending people that dont want business.
