Michael Brunner What a wonderful man who loves his craft and it shows! He’s been cutting, coloring, & styling hair for 43 years now and he really brings the energy! My daughter requested lots of highlights and layers and it’s not easy on dark, Asian hair, but leave it to Chris to knock it out of the park! My wife comes to see Chris too. If you live in Temecula or Murrieta are or even North SD County it is well worth the drive to book an appointment with Chris. He treats you like family and his prices are very reasonable for all the work & effort he puts in. You’re going to LOVE the way you LOOK & FEEL!

Evolve is run by a great hairdresser named Stacy Seymour she is really excellent at color and the more colors you want she is great at that. So I highly recommend Evolve inside Phenix salon and suites.

Nwafor Ndubisi (Jr Naija) Great..Angelica did a wonderful job on my daughters hair. My daughter has tender scalp, but did not feel any pain. It was a great experience...definitely a repeat customer.

Karyn Jones For several years I have been going to a wonderful braider named Mariam. I always get complements on how unique my braids and styles are. My hair is thin but have never had braids come out. She is excellent. I cant commend her enough.

Kara Lymperopoulos Ive been going here for about 6 years - I actually commute over an hour every six weeks to see Heather because of how talented she is. The salon atmosphere is great & I love all the people that work there. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great salon - and its so cute too!!!

Kaitlyn Suiter Heather is one of those stylists that I will never ever leave. She is incredible and very very honest. I just absolutely love her! Will travel hours to keep her in my life! She does the blonde work for me, my two sisters, my daughter and my niece. We are all Heather die hards!

alison mckee While Kariella is a very friendly and extroverted person, I was less than pleased with my hair. Kariella did olaplex conditioning treatment. My hair definitely looked healthier after TX and haircut. Unfortunately even with consultation and very specific instructions on my Likes and dislikes. Most specifically was my request for bright blonde highlights and absolutely no ash tones. My hair is a very flat brown color/tone now. When I brought this to Kariellas attention. She defended her work but never once asked when i could come back in to fix. Even with Groupon discount, my hair cost $250. All Keriella had to do was apologize and tell me she can fix it. Not a single offer for any repairs. She insists that my hair is a bright blonde as is humanly possible. The comparison pics.....my finished hair is on the left. The other is my aspire to picture. There arent any similarities in the highlights from one pic to the next. If you wear a darker shaded color Kariella will probably do a decent job on your hair. If you want bright blonde anything ..... double check that your aspire to picture is within the range that Kariella is willing to dye/bleach your hair. I was very detailed about my wants/dislikes. Kariella opted to ignore what I wanted and style my hair to her liking. Where are bright blonde highlights? Why did she frame my face with darker brown lowlights? Its mindboggling She doesnt guarantee her work either.

D J I go to the Sola Salon to see Sarah Ankerman with Ankerman Artistry. She is the most kind, and such a lovely person!! That gal keeps my hair looking WONDERFUL. I feel so pampered when I go to see her. My color comes out beautiful, my hair full of bounce and shine. I cannot say enough good things about Sarah!! Go get your hair done girls!! ❤

McKensey Gamon STYLIST CANDICE GARCIA On 3/22/24 I paid $650 for human hair flat weft hair extensions , baby highlights , and a Brazilian blow out. The highlights and blow out were done in the wrong order resulting in hair loss and scalp redness. ( I came in with virgin hair about chin length ) The extensions were used synthetic “practice hair.” She attempted to “ fix it “ with tape in extensions which I stated during the consultation I did not want. During the consultation she quoted me for 1 tier below her genius weft to fit my budget. But never mentioned the hair was used or synthetic. After not being able to successfully fix the problem of placement. She then said the problem was my hair was the Brazilian blow out my hair wasn’t laying right and then the 2nd time was because my hair was too short. She recommended that I get a Brazilian blow out because it would blend better. I did not even request it. As well as before anything was started / done she reviewed my hair texture and length. But because the hair extensions looked awful she decided to blame me. Even mentioned I didn’t wash my hair properly. I washed my hair the next day and the water was brown and the hair extensions smelt foul. ( prior to having extensions my hair wash routine was every 2-3 days depending on my level of activity and oil production ) After going back and forth and letting her know I was unhappy and the problem was not fixed. She said she would buy back the extensions and see what she could do and I mentioned before even coming back into the salon that to just refund me for the hair which was around $450. After taking out the hair extensions she offered me $150, as my hair is falling out in front of her. She said “ oh that’s normal shedding from hair extensions “ I’ve had extensions many times before and the amount was not normal. I told her $150 isn’t even close to what I have paid or even gone through emotionally with dealing with her as stylist. I left , and called the owner. Every stylist at arrow beauty collective is independent. And the salon it self does not back their stylist or their product. I never received any form of refund. She kept the hair extensions. And Candice Garcia is very hostile when it comes to owning a mistake. Be very careful about going to this salon. I’m sure the other stylists are better , but if they mess up, you as the client have to pay the price. And I payed $650 to shave my head from irritation and hair loss.

Lily Ratz Tessa is one of the most talented hairstylists out there. After 5 years of going to her I have never been disappointed with any of my colors or cuts. I would never trust anyone with my hair after her. If you need someone to work some hair magic on you, Tessa is your girl!

Christopher Dixon Tessa has been my go to stylist for years and she’s always done an amazing job. I like to keep up with the hair trends over the years and she delivers every time! She always makes my visits comfortable and easy. If you want an amazing stylist that listens to your needs, she is your gal! The space is so cute and you can tell all the girls are like family.

Megan Skelton Absolutely love Tessa! She not only does amazing things to my hair but she is such a treat to be around. I literally look forward to my visits with her. She does an amazing job at adding life to my hair in the most natural ways. I would highly recommend her!!

She was very thorough and took her time with me to achieve my hair goals. I appreciated her knowledge and expertise. She is such a genuine person. Samantha Romero Green Brandie is fantastic. She was very informative on the best way to care for my hair, including product recommendation. She took her time and educated me on transitioning from relaxers to my natural curls. Ive never been more comfortable...she is a gem. It was well worth it! Kai is an amazing colorist/curl healer. She listened to what I wanted and my results are amazing. Brandie, Kai, Mary and Ty Thank you so much youre a truly talented and wonderful team.

Rachelle Rigaud This is a long review but completely worth reading! I initially found Be Kekoa after booking a destination venue at a vineyard in Temecula, CA. I wanted to wear my natural curls for my bridal hair and have a natural hair/texture aesthetic for my bridal party. Several months ahead of the wedding I reached out to Be Kekoa- first via email then I followed up with a phone call. I recommend contacting the salon via phone with a follow up email to receive a quick response. I was connected with Kai who was available to do my hair for my 8/10/24 wedding. The phone consultation was incredibly pleasant and Kai was a true professional. She went out of her way to book a hair trial that coincided with our venue tasting so I didnt have to make an additional trip to Temecula. The salon is located in downtown Temecula- only 15 minutes from most of the vineyards so it was easy to travel to on the day of the trial and wedding. During my trial Kai discussed my hair inspiration and worked with my texture to achieve the desired look. She even gave me a much needed trim- taking care to discuss how much she recommended removing and respecting the length I was willing to cut. For my curly/coil textures you understand how important this is- I am no stranger to someone cutting off several inches when I only agreed to a "trim." Kai frequently checked in to make sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process and I was very happy with the end result. During the session she noted the products we used and discussed additional recommendations prevent frizz on the day of the wedding. The Be Kekoa product line (which they use in the salon) is terrific, curl safe, and is available on the website for easy shipping to stock up. By the end of the trial Kai discussed a proposed day of timeline so I could easily coordinate with my makeup artist. In fact, she even recommended a make up artist who worked in the area that specialized in skin of color (who I ended up booking and wrote a separate google review for). I was so happy with the result I even asked my bridal party if they wanted to book with Be Kekoa for the wedding. My MOH (seen in pictures with me) and 3 nieces all decided to book with Kai who was able to accommodate them. Because my nieces have lots of hair, both Brandi and Kai did their twist outs the day before the wedding. They handled working with 3 young girls (ages 3, 7, and 9) who never have been to a salon extremely well. My eldest niece struggles with her coily texture and Brandi made her feel more confident with her affirmation cards. By the end of the session she was smiling and you could feel the joy radiating off of her. The next day Kai came in at 7am sharp to work her magic on both my MOH and I. My hair came out exactly as we discussed and Kai finished early. With her extensive knowledge of different textures and curl patterns she also nailed my sisters hair as well, despite not having a prior trial. The pricing was established well ahead of time, was extremely transparent and reasonable for the services provided- less than $800 for all of us (this includes bridal hair with a wash/glaze/style/steam, MOH wash/style/steam, twist outs with wash/steam for 3 girls). In short Id like to give a big thanks to Kai, Brandi and Be Kekoa. My hair was perfect and my nieces/MOH looked beautiful! I absolutely recommend Be Kekoa for your special events or if youre looking for a curly/texture hair salon. When I visit my friends in the area I will be stopping in for a hair fix with Kai and Brandi!

Rachel Elsayeh One of the best Salon experiences Ive ever had. Kai was my colorist and stylist and she knows her stuff! She explained how to take care of my newly colored hair and I am so happy with the results. If you have curly hair this is the place for you!

Hope Drake I had such an amazing time at Be Kekoa. I was recommended by a few people when I asked about curly cuts, so I decided to give them a try and Im so glad I did! I had just given birth to my daughter, was feeling a lack of confidence, and needed a boost to feel like myself again. As soon as I arrived to the salon, I was met with smiles, warmth, and love. I had the privilege of meeting Brandie, Ty, Kayulani, and Ms. Mary, and their personalities literally changed my life. It sounds cliché, but they helped me transform into the woman I am today. Brandie provided me with a curly cut, trim, and color which also included a wash and hydration treatment. When I say she treated my curls with LOVE!!! I had not had an experience like that before. Brandie asked me many questions about my curls, daily hair routines, and what my goals were. Simple questions I couldnt answer because I hadnt been too knowledgable regarding my hair and I began to feel shy and ashamed. Brandie encouraged me, rid of my shame, and we built a plan together. At the end of my service, I bought the Be Kekoa hair products, which are amazing for my curls and have the best smell! Needless to say, by the time I left the salon, I felt as though I had new family. No longer was I feeling insecure or shame, but I felt whole and new. I felt beautiful. Thank you Be Kekoa, Brandie, Ty, Kayulani, and Ms. Mary, for not only healing my curls, but for healing me. I will continue to spread the word about how amazing you are! 10/10, highly recommend.

Portia Jackson Brandie and her staff did an absolutely amazing job with my 10 year old daughters hair. We initially went in for a consultation where I showed pictures of my daughters hair (since her hair was currently in braids) and discussed what our vision was for her hair. Brandie was such a lovely person - timely, professional, friendly - and gave us some direction on what she thought would be best. I emailed some pictures of 2-strand twists to her (per her recommendation so we are all on the same page) and my husband brought her back in the next Saturday for her hair treatment. A few things were lost in translation between my husband and I in terms of having my daughters hair ready for the appointment but Brandie and her entire staff were very gracious, kind and accommodating and got the job done! She even went above and beyond with helping us get ready for picture day. My daughter loves her style and we will 100% return as repeat customers. The salon is clean, smells delicious and has a great atmosphere as well. We are very grateful that Be Kekoa was recommended to us and we are happy to recommend to others as well.

Joelle Perry I’ve been seeing Kayla for a little bit over a year now and has been the only stylist I’ve seen consistently! She listens to your goals, and is realistic about what she can do. She’s really sweet and enjoyable to be around, I highly recommend her to all my friends:)

Thomas Christy (Veruca Cat) This place was great. They were able to fit me and my daughter in law in at the same time with short notice. Lexi cut my hair. I usually cut my own hair ( I know- cardinal rule among hairdressers is not to, but I do lol) When I explained what I wanted to Lexi, she went above and beyond to give me the layers I wanted, using her own great technique. She was pleasant and skilled. I will definitely be going to her from now on. She was meticulously cautious of not cutting too much off. I got the exact cut I wanted and it’s always a hit or miss. Hence the reason I usually opt to cut my own hair. I found the pricing reasonable and the environment to be warm and welcoming. Very nice salon.

Alex Cruz I went and got my hair done with Stacie, and it was amazing! She was so kind and thoughtful and really took her time doing my hair. She installed my tape in hair extensions and was really thoughtful and considering of the placement of them. She asked me what I thought of the placement and gave me the best scalp massage when she washed my hair. I went back to her to move up my extensions and she was so careful taking them out, I never felt any discomfort or pain. 10/10 I would come back to Stacie for her kind and thoughtful service!

M B Went here because of positive reviews of Karissa for curly hair. Unfortunately my experience doesnt seem to line up with everyone elses, the atmosphere is nice and everyone is friendly enough, but the haircut left me with a complete mess that hardly looks better months after my appointment. My "layers" are horrible shelves that dry and almost give me bangs.. My hair is two different lengths on either side, no consideration of my curl pattern at all. I advise everyone with ringlets to steer clear.

The employee at the register was lovely and helped me to check in and fill out some paperwork. Savannah my stylist was incredible. Angel I went in for hair extensions 26in I actually went to hair school with the owner Breanna It was a nightmare I looked like a jellyfish and expected a partial refund as I had a horrible experience and had to have the hair immediately removed. That was refused so 4000 dollars later I am here just to warn you I will show you the pics when I left the salon beautiful but by the time I got home jellyfish I am a business owner as well which is part of the major shock I would never take a patients money unless they had received a excellent result. She was not willing to work with me or willing to refund me

When you walk into the spa area you’re immediately relaxed. The treatment itself is amazing. A full 90 minute treatment. I left with a squeaky clean scalp, and my scalp felt so calm and hydrated. I really like this sola salon concept it can allow you to be one step closer to being a real business owner with an actual storefront. This location is right inside the mall so safety is okay. Rent should be cheaper since its only small cubicle of space. Clean and organized. Free parking lot available.

Rocio Hernandez I made an appointment a month prior and paid the $155 service fee for eyelash extensions at LASH AFFAIR. On the day of i was 10 minutes away( note i was driving all the way from san Bernardino) and i receive a text message that she was cancelling appointment due to a personal reason which i understood - she asked if i wanted to reschedule but due to my busy schedule i was not sure when i would be able to come back therefore i nicely asked for a refund which she agreed and said she would call processing center on Monday. I waited and sent her a quick reminder on Monday- no response - i text her again - no response, the next day again no response - she was ignoring my text messages- a week has passed and no refund has been issued- i had to call my bank and file a claim- very unprofessional! i was going to reschedule in the future but not after this! Great way to lose customers.

Sean Skinner CRUSHED IT! After moving from San Diego to Temecula it has been tough find a new barber. I had previously gone to Lefty’s for years and I have been hopping around different spots in Temecula for the last few months. Whether it was the cut, the vibe or customer service I just wasn’t in feeling it until today. Travis the owner was such an ambassador of Temecula (straight up good dude) and I could not be happier with my haircut. Buffalo Co is located in Vail Headquarters with great places to eat, boutique shops and live music. OH….and they cut kids hair. Thank you guys for the experience. I’m a big fan and I’ll be back.

I’ve already got a busy career and I don’t appreciate you outsourcing the burden of appointment setting on me. Aly came highly recommended, and now I know why. She turned my hair disaster into a hair miracle! The most amazing thing about my experience with her was her knowledge of hair, the coloring process, condition of the hair and how to complement a clients hair based on their skin type. She gave me the spa treatment, made sure the water was warm before putting it on my hair, gave me a great hair massage and was always asking if I was comfortable. Seriously, Im so glad I found her. She exceeded my expectations and clearly loves what she does!

The products that she used smell as magical as they felt on my skin. When I left my skin was glowing. I wish I could go and have a facial from Rhonda everyday. Don’t wait! Melissa Whitmore I haven’t been able to find the right stylist since I moved to Temecula a few years ago. After reading several reviews, I decided to go to Salon de Cheveux and I’m so glad I did. I was greeted by very friendly staff and was walked back to meet Courtney. Courtney gave me a hair consultation before we even got started. I explained what I wanted and showed her pictures and she knew exactly what I was asking for. She did such a good job on my highlights!
