Jill Stillman Caitin is the Best Hair Stylist! I havent colored my hair in over a year because Ive been so discouraged when I do. My hair always turns out brassy and yellow and Ive wasted my time and monty. I shared my concerns with Caitlin and ended up with a beautiful (but easy to maintain) hair cut and color that I absolutely love! A couple months later and it still looks great! My husband and kids also get their hair cuts from Caitlin. 100% recommend.

Nicole Andrino I LOVE the atmosphere of the salon! I have had my teeth whitened by Katie 2 times now and they have turned out awesome both times, absolutely no sensitivity of the teeth and NO burnt gums, as a Registered Dental Hygienist myself I would strongly recommend the teeth whitening services as they are safe and allow you to achieve optimal results for a great price! I also had a month membership of tanning which was wonderful got a nice golden tan for my trip to Vegas, the beds also dont make you get hot at all. One last thing brow Brittney is the bomb, made my eyebrows look wonderful!! I would highly recommend the Salon for any services!

McKenzie Anderson I absolutely love the atmosphere and the people in this salon! Katie has done an amazing job making her dreams become a reality. The tanning beds are the best Ive ever used! And the teeth whitening service she offers is absolutely amazing! My teeth are always super sparkly white now!!

Amber Shaw Had an amazing facial by the amazing Brittany! Super relaxing and my skin felt great right after the facial and for days after! Katie has done an amazing job putting together a very awesome and unique salon! Very cool and modern atmosphere and great products (tanning lotions are definitely some of the best!) This is definitely your one stop pit stop for a tune up in pretty much anything pampered :) I will definitely be back! Thanks for the awesome service!

Maria espinosa I went in to get a spray tan by Katie and was very satisfied with the results!! Katie was very accommodating after all I showed up 30 minutes early and was very cool about it. I totally loved the shop. I have had many spray tans but I loved the products that they used because they were not smelly nor sticky. Katie made me feel very comfortable and her personality was what made me feel at the most comfortable.

Joanna Chavez I checked in through the website and when I got there, they took me in right away. The stylist that worked on my daughter was nice and did a great job. Would come here again.

Chris Essary I always get a great at this location. Unfortunately, at 27.00 for a senior haircut, the price has gotten prohibitive. My 3 all the way around is more than I pay my podiatrist.

Otakutrashpandaa My hairdresser was incredibly friendly, gave me a great cut. She also helped another stylist with another clients eye brow cut and they both were very sweet. I’d definitely go back.

There is always a good attention to the small things. And lastly they always give me the best recommendation on what product will go best with my new style.

Annie Alvira Blown Away has become my go-to salon. I have had my hair done by several of the hairdressers who have worked here over the last few years, but have the most experience with both Lynette and Lori. Whether Ive wanted an A-line bob or to get maintenance trims during a grow-out, I have never had a bad haircut here, and Im always treated warmly and am given solid advice about handling my very wavy hair. I also appreciate that their prices are very fair. Thanks, ladies!

Alli Martin House of Beauty is fabulous! I have trusted Liz with my hair for over 15 years and I have always left her salon extremely satisfied with the results. Emily and Tiffany are amazing too! Elizabeth Eemon is the person to go to! We have been going to her for many years and she never disappoints us very friendly and price is reasonable she always tried to fit someone in and knows the current haircuts!!! Did I mention she is FAST!!!! And very very nice

Danny Vincent I started going here about a year now, they do a great job on cutting my hair. The longest I have waited was around ten minutes .. the price for a men’s haircut $ 18.00 dollars …..up date it’s. $ 21.00 now……

I have started getting my hair colored here as well. Always accommodating and we have never been disappointed. My color lasts longer than the custom color I was applying at home. Very reasonably priced.

George Nazar I have been getting my hair cut at the salon for many years. You cant beat the $16 price and the two ladies that work there are both very capable and talented and very nice.

I kinda lean towards Christina because she let me grow a mullet one time and she didnt laugh until I asked to cut it off. The prices are competitive, and you cant get this personal service from some of these chain salons. I love the friendly atmosphere here at the Haircut Store. Another thriving Turlock business!

Trisha Silva I tried to give this place a chance seeing some of the good reviews. I am so upset at the job this lady did to my hair i went on a sunday 04/14/19. She did not do what i asked for and it literally looks like as if a child got scissor happy and choped my hair. Im disappointed and regret giving this place a chance. A waste of time and money. Now to even fix it my hair had to be cut even shorter than i wanted.

Leo Vasquez They are who they say they are, Klassy as in being superior with customer service and the Kuts are done with precision. I have nothing but high praise and havent met a great barber/stylist as well as Michael has been in a long time. He is very personable as well. I highly recommend Michael and the crew! Amber Adams and my daughter went in for our hair to be highlighted and it turned out bad for both of us my hair is white on one side and yellow on the other side and spots of color around my whole head its so messed up we went back to have it fixed and it turned out just as bad the second time i wished it could be fixed so it didnt look so bad !! Very Disappointed with our hair!!!!!! We paid. 600 for messed up hair!!

jeremy ballard Been coming here for years and Lydia usually cuts my hair. If she’s not there I ask the owner (Michael) to cut it. Today someone else cut my hair and I asked for a fade. Not only was it uneven but the barber also didn’t fade one side of my head at all. I drove home and wife noticed it and I looked in mirror more.. so I drove back and asked for a 1 because I was afraid it wasn’t gonna be done right, I didn’t want to tell the owner and show the picture of it infront of who cut my hair cause there were other customers waiting for a haircut. I have pictures of my hair but there’s no option to post it.

Ma p Mike is my go to place every week hes fast reliable and a great person. HE EVEN calls me to tell me hes going on Vacation for a few days..Helen does a great job while hes out.

Vince Angulo Have been going there for 10 + years I wasn’t happy the way I was made felt. After getting there and checked in online I was told there’s 6 people ahead of me that was fine. Then within 2 minutes they called my son and me as well so that people didn’t have to wait for I told one of the is it ok if I just go with the same staylist after my son was done they said yes no problem. He was done I got up and a young blonde hair lady said you have to wait there’s 2 people ahead of you I said why I was told to go right after my son. And the way I was told again “ you have to wait do you understand “ in a very horrible tone in front of customers. After that I told her take me off the list I’m done. My business will be taking it elsewhere.

Dalia Centeno Not great with male haircuts. Staff need more training for their prices. Haircuts are not blended well. I should not need to tell them where the blending should be done or if one side is uneven. They should be able to see it for themselves.

Lizbeth Orozco When I got my hair done by Andrea, it was the first time I’d ever died my hair, virgin hair. I wanted a gray halo but walked out with an uneven color, looking blonde in some parts, and in others somewhat gray. She offered for her to do another session to fix it, which is the part I don’t understand?? If you know you messed up, you should’ve fixed it without a charge. I had gone in originally thinking I was going to pay $150 total but I paid $220. Looking back, i wish I didn’t pay for my hair results that i didn’t even like. Since then, i haven’t gotten my hair done or plan to since it was a bad first time experience. Not to mention that I was also there on my appointment time at 9am but she hadn’t opened and had me waiting 10minutes. I’m not from Turlock, so it was unfair on me that I made sure i was there on time but they can open later than the scheduled time. My sister had also gotten her hair done by her before but since what I wanted was something easier, she imagined that Andrea would’ve been able to do it. My sister told me that she stopped going to her because she would always say “next time, I’ll do this” because she could never get her hair bright enough. What you’re paying is not worth it !!

Beatriz Orozco I booked a few apointments with Lizeth Diaz and let me just say she is very unprofessional and not punctual at all with her appointments. The very first time I booked an appointment with her she let me know an hour prior to our appointment that she was going to have to reschedule due to her child having an appointment. I didnt mind the inconvenience because last minute things can occur and I did proceed with rescheduling another appointment. On the day of the appointment she texted me 2 minutes prior our scheduled appointment to let me know she was arriving late due to her babysitter running late once again I didnt mind. Again I decided to book with her despite all the inconveniences and gave it another shot. I showed up 20 minutes early to my appointment just to make sure I arrived on time. I take highly in consideration peoples time. I scheduled a month ago an appointment at 9 am, walk up to the salon at 9 am sharp to find it closed. I wait 7 minutes and I finally decide to text her just to see where she is at or if she is running late, just for her to let me know that the app where I booked had a glitch and was giving her the wrong times and that she was currently in modesto and that she wouldnt be there til 10. I mentioned that I was already at the salon waiting, she replied she was at a doctors appointment and that she wouldnt get to the salon til 10 and her apologies. She mentions that I can either reschedule or cancel as if waiting for a whole hour was nothing. I was in very desperate need of getting my hair done and I had an event to attend to but enough is enough! Im beyond disgusted and disappointed with people not taking accountability for their actions. If it would of been the other way around im pretty sure I would of had to pay a late fee or something or perhaps would of been bashed on social media like some hairstylist talk about their customers. Offering to buy me a Starbucks drink for the inconvenience just isnt enough! COMMUNICATION is key and I feel some of the staff lacks it! I wonder if I wouldnt have reached out would she have left me waiting for that whole hour or more?? I would highly not suggest you book with her unless you like waiting and having people take advantage of YOUR time. Her work is great but the punctuality its what takes away from it.

Dianna Castellanos This review goes for Stylist Ray. Let me start by saying Instagram profiles can be misleading with all the gorgeous picture of hair. My regular stylist wasn’t available so I decided to come here. Ray was negligent with my hair and over processed my already lifted hair which resulted in major hair loss. She practically fried my hair. This is due to many factors to begin with she worked on a total of 3 clients during my whole time there. Super unprofessional, I had never been attended along with 3 other clients with one stylist. Since she was so focused on getting us all out the door my foils were over processed. To top it off she still charged me 130$ after acknowledging she ruined my hair. This was back in October, and it’s depressing because it will take my hair years to recover. I highly recommend you don’t go to Ray if you want a professional experience with a stylist who cares about your hair health

Julissa Mendez This review is about Lizeth Diaz, I booked a appointment a whole week ago for a balayage through her booking website , I tried contacting her TWICE. Once through text message and the other through dm not one response back from her for the whole week. My appt was supposed to be today Monday June 27th at 9am, As Im getting ready to leave to go to the salon at 8:20 I receive a text from her saying, “ Hi Julissa unfortunately I will not be in the salon today. I thought I had today blocked off I’m currently out of town with my family. I apologize for the inconvenience I can check to see what my soonest availability is.” unbelievable 40 minutes before my appointment time ?! If she thought she had that day blocked off in her book , YOU WOULDVE SEEN SOMEONE OBVIOUSLY BOOKED THAT DAY YOU “HAD BLOCKED OFF” AND YOU CANCEL IT THE SAME DAY NOT 40 MINUTES THE SAME DAY! Irresponsible just like her other review stated on this page .! Didn’t believe it until it happened to me . Do not understand how this salon allows her staff to be that way when it has happened to not just one client.

We understand that respectfully, but when theyre rude about denying a hair cut because his austic thats not okay. Its the Automatic no no shaking their head and hands. Theres a better way professional way to say no.
