Joyce Mitchell Love Tony - he did an extra great job today. He’s pleasant, meticulous. He trimmed my nails back perfectly. Took extra care as one of my nails needed extra attention. He made sure I was doing ok. I love the dip powder. I usually can wait 6 weeks, but this time it was 4 because one of my previously manicured nail colors was lifting away (caused by me, I know & nail getting long.) happy with my soft green color.

Tiffany Sloper Today was my first time here and I really really enjoyed it. My sister and I both came for manicures. They did a great job and were very kind. I did a gel manicure for $40 and my sister did a regular manicure for $25. I liked this place and will definitely be back!

Krystal McMinn My 2nd time coming to this salon. Both visits have been amazing. The staff are very attentive and courteous. They clearly want their customers to feel pampered! Courtesy drinks are provided while having a spa pedicure, with a lot of packages available to choose from. They pay close attention to the customers preferences (I prefer non-gel polish). All of the products seem high quality and smell gorgeous. They take their time and check in with the customer throughout the experience. Beautiful artwork on the big toe at the end. Very talented staff! The shop itself is a small space, but the high ceilings give a more open feeling. With large, mounted hanging lights and TVs on the wall, they create a beautiful setting. I love what they play on the TV. Both times, it has been a lady who seems to be in another country as she goes about her day. Shes harvesting exotic looking plants from what seems like forest, then journeys to a town to sell her wares. At the end of each segment, it shows her preparing a dish to enjoy. Everything about the whole experience at this establishment encourages me to come back, and I highly recommend it!

sonya weaver Never will try a new person for my nails , the design was alright I asked for coffin shape and I got square. I can tell the lady didn’t want to do my nails she kept stopping while “ Trying “ to shape my nail into coffin shape. On top of that I always get my nails done by Hannah usually medium long with rhinestones typically around $80-100 . For my nails being short no rhinestones and not coffin shape and still charged me $100 is RIDICULOUS! I believe they need to humble themselves and the work they do and charge appropriately not a ridiculous amount . If I wasn’t sleep deprived I would of sat there some extra hours for them to fix them but unfortunately I did not & now I need to set an appointment with a different salon to fix what should of never needed fixing in the first place

Tanisha Champion-Benjamin I went and had my nails done, a pedicure and my eyebrows waxed. I am very unsatisfied in regards to my nails, she charged me $55 saying my nails were long and they are not they are medium length. I also feel that they are not oval like I asked and just really bulky looking. I did not want to cause a scene as I wasn’t feeling the best and just wanted to leave but upon further inspection of them they look hideous. I tried to call the shop but they were closed and the voicemail was full. My eyebrows were also not to my liking but she just couldn’t get them right. I ended up spending $95 when I left.

shukimba carlis They got upset with me when I asked them not to use the machine on my nails. My nails are extremely thin and they last and look better when they are filed by hand. The nail tech told me that she was not going to finish my nails(manicure, no tips) because they preferred to use the drill. By the way, it was the owner that treated me in that way. I had to immediately go to another nail salon to have my nails finished. Do not support that nails salon. They are very rude and their work is lackluster.

Angeline Huck I have had Kevin as my exclusive nail guy for over 3 years now. He always does an amazing job!! He has beautiful shape to the nails just like I like and he always comes up with a unique design on them. I pick the color and he does whatever he wants design wise. I have never had one lift and only had one break in the 3 years. I have even been able to get them longer because they are so reliable. I love them every single time...thank you much! Best nail designer ever!!

Mike B This was the worst nail salon! This was the worst experience ever. The "manager"/owner said she was not mean to my girlfriends and her friends when she literally was yelling at me on the phone and hanging up. She CUT them when doing the nails and she made sure to over charge them when they were asking for other thing, and yet received nothing that they asked for. She then said the only way she would resolve things was if they came back.... why would I ever let them go back without me. She was the most awful person I have ever even talked on the phone with. She hung up twice while yelling when I was only trying to figure things out. She did not do their nails well. This was the absolute worse experience. Would not recommend them ever.... Go at your own risk.

Daidre Dorsey I came to visit Ty nail & hair salon for the first time. I called before hand ask asked if they had availability, Ty husband at the time answered and set me up with a same day appointment. I arrived and they were ready to start service. Ty husband supported and promoted his wife so well, he stated “she is amazing, my wife will take good care of you”! “She is the best” And he sure didn’t lie. She delivers accuracy and she detailed my nails the exact way I showed her on a picture. I am highly satisfied and it’s been years since I’ve been happy with my nail service. Thank you TY!

Whitney Dill Dont go here if you want to ne scammed. The guy who does nails always over charge every time.He will add on extra things and at the end ask you to pay 30$ extra money and thats not ok.He always dies it and the lady there will side with him and say its 65 and up but when u done its 90$ or 100$ and not the original.

Jocelyn Smith Do not get your nails done here. I thought the young lady phoebe was very nice and polite however the older guy with the glasses that did my pedicure was not. He refused to listen to what I wanted he forgot to put on the top coat. I was trying to relax and enjoy the massage chair so I didn’t notice it until I got home. I called to let them them know I was unhappy with the service and noticed a lot of flaws the young lady assured me that I could come in and have it fixed but when I got there the guy that did them started getting upset talking to her in their language and told her to charge me an additional $15 to have polish removed and done right after I paid $55 plus tip. She could tell the overall pedicure wasn’t done right polish missing in the corners. Also refused to let me choose a different color for my troubles of having to come back. We gotta be more mindful of who we choose to do our business with I’ve been going to salons for years I’ve never been treated so unfair. They had no consideration of my time or business I done with them.

Felicia Meadow Why is this nail salon my favorite? The technicians don’t ignore you and only speak amongst themselves. Jen always chats with me and she is lovely. My gel nails are also very beautiful. Thank you so much, I will come back to be taken care of by Jen again!

Pretty Reauxs Lovely shop. Unsure of all these negative reviews. I’ve been coming here faithfully for a good 9 months. I must say, they do not understand English very well so u do have to be patient. I’ve never had a bad experience tho. My nails always last at least 3.5 weeks before it’s time for a fill. My acrylic toes last more than a month. I’ve never laid more than $150 for both my nails and ALL acrylic on 10 toes. That’s honestly a great price considering I usually get French tip which takes time when it’s hand painted. Side note. I can only speak from my own experience and the nail techs that work on me. ( the two younger ones )

robert berry I went to Phoebe’s Nail Bar today with my aunt to get my nails done, and I’ve got to say, the experience was great. They check in along the way about the length, the shape and even the colour to make sure you’re happy with the outcome. Staff are all friendly. Highly recommend this salon

Jessica Rose Romero I moved from Vallejo and have been going to that same nail salon for 15 years. Moved out here recently and learned that the drive is so far now with our busy daily schedule. After three to four different tries and other local nail salons, I finally found the one. Phoebe does such an excellent job. I usually have longer natural nails and end up getting a coffin shape with dipping powder in nude and she never misses! This is my first time cutting my nails all the way down and she still did a good job that I might be sold on keeping them short now. Her salon is clean and comfortable. They take their time and do not rush you in and out of their chairs. So happy I came across her salon.

Cleanliness of instruments could have been better tho. They didnt use a new nail file or buffer on me next time I will ask for a new one

Karrinna I have been here a few times now. And twice I’ve had a nail break. I literally just got them done yesterday and I was opening my car door and my nail broke. I brought my husband here for the first time for a pedicure. He went to pay and I told him to ask for military discount. The three times I’ve been here I got a military discount. Not much. But come on, who wouldn’t ask. My husband was denied that. But I never was. We will never come back. My pedicure was the worst. They are nice people. But I’m lost about why I got a military discount but my active duty husband who’s deployed to Iraq multiple times and is black didn’t get it. Fix yourself America.i won’t be back and I as a military spouse/veteran who lives on base have recommended People to the salons I like. This isn’t one. Edit! Not even a full two weeks. Two nails broke. I’m a mother who works and goes to school at home. I literally do not break nails I went to take them off and they literally Just easily popped off. Usually it takes a lot of soaking with acetone and foil. . Don’t waste your money here. I’d rather spend $5-10 more elsewhere! Horrible. They look so bad. I’ve lived in most states in the US and I’ve been overseas. This is the worst nail salon ever. Never again. And my active duty husband loves manicures and pedicures. They treated him like a common criminal. He’s an amazing soul who’s risked his life. For people like this? You guys missed out. We have family here. People Today really don’t care about their business.

Axle Cosmos Went here to get nails for birthday, didnt do anything close to what I asked for. The other person I went with said they were aggressive and didnt even try to talk to them. Racquel Johnson DO NOT GO HERE! Terrible and unprofessional service. I had to give them a star to post my comment. A nail technician took advantage of my 16 year old daughter who was not happy with her nail technician and several times spoke up about her nail service and when my daughter let the head technician know she wasn’t happy they made her pay $15 for an unfinished pedicure. I dropped my daughter off and went back inside to confront how they mistreated my daughter and no acknowledgement was given and all the customers that heard how they treated her agreed that my daughter was mistreated and was taken advantage of. Don’t waste your money on this nail shop! Horrible service.

Lisa Ballas Can’t do the basics. I went in for a manicure, no polish. She wasn’t even going to shape or buff my nails until I said something. I had to go home and re-file and re-shape them. It was essentially $21 to cut my nails … and I still ended up with different shapes and different lengths. Save your money.

Tina Gambrell My regular nail shop was booked today and closed for the next three days so I decided to try a different spot. Its 5:30 & as a walk in, they took me after a 10 minute wait. While waiting I decided to look at Yelp reviews and was kind of iffy because it was a mixture of good and bad reviews. Im glad I decided to stick it out. The nail tech was wonderful! I had one of the best pedicures ever with calluses removed and all! I got a regular pedicure and a gel manicure. I wasnt sure what to expect since it was the end of the day and they were going to close an hour and a half. Total price was $53 with the dollar being charged me for using a card. I will be going back soon.

Belinda Jackson first and last time going here, charged me $80 for mani/pedi. when I asked why she said because of gel polish, so then I ask to see regular colors and conveniently they dont have any. Really???? got me once and Im done

Ashley Saelee Used form tape to rebuild my broken stiletto tips but did a poor job by not placing them on right; my nails didnt have the hollow underneath, it was one whole blob of acrylic basically. Said she knew how to do the french fade/ombre i wanted but actually didnt. Ended up with them looking like dry paint streaks.

Lovely Libra I was a faithful client of this salon for over 10 years until all of a sudden, Nina started being hella rude. I didnt understand what her problem was. I knew i hadnt done anything wrong. I always tipped her and the other manicure and pedicure workers. I even gave her brand new nail polishes. Well I found out that she had a problem with me because she said I take 2 hours to find my color. (Which is a big lie.) And not only did she lie on me, she told another client this about ME!) So I will never step foot back in her salon because shes rude, messy and unprofessional! And honestly, she doesnt do a good job on nails anymore. Shes always rushing because her shop is always packed and shes to cheap and greedy to hire more help. So Nina, learn how to be professional and maybe I will respect you but until i get an apology from, you can kiss my butt! Good bye and GOOD RIDDANCE! Miss Rude A** Nina!!!

My gel nails last 3weeks easy but before here my nail polish only lasted a week to week and a half. Rose and Phoung are awesome!!!

Watkins Laura (House of Geekiness) If youre looking for a new nail salon, this is the place you want. The ladies there do amazing work and are super fun to be around. Without being overly chatty, theyre friendly and funny. I tried several different services there. Its obvious why they have so many loyal customers. Nails: I didnt get my nails done, but I watched them work as I got my pedicure. Absolutely beautiful! Pedicure: While I did miss the massage chairs at my old place, the amazing "mud" they used made up for it. I chose the milk (for dry skin) instead of the lavender mud. I am in love! Im not used to soaking my feet in a bucket instead of a foot tub thing, but it was so cool. It was hard to sit still because my toes kept wanting to play with mud. They also had an insane variety of nail colors to choose from. The man also worked extra long on my very callused feet for no extra charge. Theyre so nice and soft/smooth now! Brow wax: Fast and good. The only complaint I have is that the bits she missed with the wax were trimmed instead of plucked. Leg wax: This wasnt on their list of services but they do it. I had a mixed experience with this one. She uses a wax that hardens and peels off (because it is gentler on the skin, causes less bumpiness, and doesnt leave the skin all sticky afterwards) but it didnt work for me. It could be because my skin is ridiculously dry, but it was pretty miserable as she slowly yanked bits of wax free. To be fair, she said this usually doesnt happen. After probably 20-30 minutes of torture, she switched to the old style wax and it was quick and a LOT less painful. Next time, Ill ask for that kind from the start. I want to be clear, that woman tried amazingly hard to give me a great leg wax, and she delivered. I would have given up and switched waxes earlier, but she was determined to make it work for me because she knew Id love the results.

nxnu2005 One Not the traditional nail shop some would expect, but maybe that’s why they are so good. One of the best pedicures I’ve ever had. I got it done three days ago and am still so impressed by how soft my feet are. The ladies are very nice, very entertaining, and professional. I will definitely be going back.

Bersa Brie They were really nice with me and my kid (it was her first manicure). We were able to walk in and they were able to see us immediately. I did call originally just to see if they do appointments or walk ins or both. And they seem to do walk ins. My kid got acrylic stilettos and I got gel painting with a stripe design. Both came out really well and if you have a reference picture for the design they will do as best as they can.

Rather then make u wait some one will get you started and then they switch.its freaking amazing none of that making u feel like your in the way if they cant do you they tell you right away.... They smile and talk to you and in my book thats a win! Its a different ..Id say fantasy experience!

Ivette Rivera I got a new set here, I do like how they are gentle when it comes to talking nails off. And my pedicure was amazing... Now what I disliked was my nails. They were way too sharp, didnt look almond at all. And my nails were too wide, it seemed as if the fake nails went passed my nail beds. I would only go back for a pedicure, I didnt like my nails at all, I actually ended up reshaping them myself. I dont have pics of my nails but if you look at the pics already up, you can see how wide nails are. It must be the same guy doing the nails, Lisa if you are reading this please retrain him on shaping nails and fitting them correctly on nail beds so they dont look so wide and big

Amy Mumford Lisa does a drop in on a Friday. There are no appointments. I turned up wanting some gels done as Im going to a wedding tomorrow. I was really happy with the service. I think my nails look great. They were really gentle too and gave a nice foot massage!

Theresa Macias I havent changed nail salons for a long time. This spot is local to me, so I thought Id give it a try. Ive been there 3 times now. Its not super fancy, but they do a quality job that isnt overly expensive. I got a Mani Pedi and waxing.

Leilani Sky First time and not my last! Had a great experience with Lisas daughter. She was very helpful! The prices were very nice compared to other salons! I got acrylic round nails in the color 339 (a nude color to match my skin tone) I got them short for work but, all in all they lasted for up to 3-5 weeks. I got them on the 28th of April and I didnt take them off til June 5th. They lasted so long which made me happy!

Orla Mc Guinness I like this place a lot because it’s clean and inviting. However nothing is more annoying than paying for the top end pedicure for extensive callus removal and getting the bare bare minimum. I could do my own nails at home, but I am looking for someone to pamper and revive my feet every few weeks and they are disappointing each time.

( NO MANICURE) Omg where do i start… I’ve been coming here for a couple of months because I got recommended by a friend but let me tell you it’s been a few times where I tell myself I’m not coming back but I still did because it’s close to home but now I’m definitely NEVER coming back. I got a layover a couple weeks ago over my real nail because I needed to let my actual nail rest from acrylic it edit it up chipping everywhere in less than two weeks and I came back to get them removed and just to get a clear coat because I wanted to get them done the first week of September. Can you believe the owner after seeing that one of his nail tech that mind you? She usually just does toes she’s never done nails that I’ve seen and the only time she did my toes I hated them. She cut me and she left me on the chair for 30 minutes soaking and alcohol when I’ve seen people remove a acrylic in less than 15 minutes. I request to get somebody else to do my nails because she was simply too rough. She was using a to file a huge one to remove acrylic and it was hurting my nails. Here comes the man which I’m assuming is the owner and he’s in a super bad mood and they’re talking in their language because they can tell that I’m frustrated. Usually gel is never more than $15 He charged me $25 DOLLARS FOR A CLEAR COAT! And $10 for the removal. The removal I’m OK with but $25 for a clearcoat is ridiculous and he kept saying that it’s because it’s gel but I didn’t even know that there was a difference between clearcoat for gel or just a regular clear coat They We’re both the same exact thing a regular clearcoat he should’ve known better than to try to charge me $25 for a clear. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. All they do is talk crap about you in their language and they get mad when you are not OK with what they’re doing. I’m never coming back and they just lost a customer.

Jacqueline Rozowski If I could give this place zero stars I would. On two separate occasions this place has severely disappointed me. The first was a random Tuesday that I went at 4:00pm when I got off work and they werent even open although Google says that they are open until 5:00 p.m. The second was today I walked in around 3:30pm on a Wednesday as their door says that they accept walk-ins I was greeted by all three women and even though there were only two clients there, the woman told me that they were busy and had no time to take off my fake nails that are now hurting me because they are two months over grow. Not only did they not offer me a different appointment or tell me when they would be available they just continued talking to their one client that was inside. Rude and inconsiderate customer service skills, I heard this place was good but Ive never seen it or experienced it.

Skiphula Lee I go there all the time. Ive been going there since I was about 13. They are absolutely amazing. Kim does the best pedicures and shes so sweet. Shell also hook your eyebrows up too. And Phillip, well hes just the best nail design artist I know. Whatever you want he can do it or if you want him to come up with something off the top of his head he can do that too. Absolutely amazing! I love them both!

Sarah Halterman Phil & Kim are great - customer service is great! They make you laugh and make the experience "fun". However, at nail salons Im not paying for the customer service (thats what tips are for in my opinion). I paid $70 for a manicure and pedicure, so I would expect for them to last longer than one week. Three of the nails on my hands that Phil added gel to have already chipped and the polish is coming off. Im not hard on my nails; I dont have a job where I use my hands a lot; I wear gloves to wash dishes. It makes no sense - this doesnt happen at other salons. Two stars for customer service and cleanliness, though. Hopefully they invest in some higher quality materials.

Nacole Lacey Phillip and his Kim are super cool! He asked me how do I want my nails rather than how I should get my nails.He took his time but was fast. Kim did an excellent job on my feet and eyebrows. Ill definitely be back.

socky good service but i asked the woman doing my nails if she could even out my nails without trimming them since i liked the length they were all at and had accidentally broken a nail the night before at an event. when the time came to fixing my nails she called over the woman at table 1 (who i saw was aggressive with her own client) to fix it. the two began to speak in vietnamese and kept repeating “long nail” while the woman who came over began to aggressively file my middle finger, leaving my middle fingernail significantly shorter than the rest. as this was my second visit i am rather frustrated with the customer service here…

vivian price I’ve been patronizing this salon for many years, My technician is amazing however the owner has no customer service skills what so ever and she very rude. She never greets my husband and I when we enter her shop. Today was the straw that broke the camels back, she tried to over charge my son on his service she started arguing with me regarding this matter, it’s almost as though she thinks she’s doing me a favor. She’s unbelievably Clueless. Even though it is very convenient for me to go to that salon because I live in Green Valley, It’s the principal… I will never go back. I’m gonna have to find another salon that appreciates my business and has some sort of customer service. I’m done!!!!!

Gladys Cruz DO NOT RECOMMEND! Asked for DD29 and I got a bright orange! Applied 5 layers of DIP powder leaving my nails bulky! Next time I’ll wait in Kim’s salon and spa. They never fail me.

Dena Forney Very nice, always can take a walk in right away when I’ve come in. Does a good job on acrylic and gel x nails and pedicures are great too and at a great price. I’ve tried other places but always come back to special nails. All the nails techs are polite and professional and you can’t go wrong with any of them. When I want something basic it is around $45 when I get deluxe it usually comes out to around $75 with gel polish for either one. Which I think is pretty average but I’ve seen others charge more for less services

Maddison I don’t usually leave reviews but I’m lucky I can for this one! I’ve moved here just recently, and I’ve already gotten my nails done three times here. They’re work is underrated and based on the reviews I was skeptical on wether I should spend my money here. Needless to say, the first set I’ve got done here, I’ve fell in love with their work! The photos clearly aren’t doing these justice. The prices are decent and their environment is clean. I’m actually coming today for acyrlic removal! I highly suggest.

Min s New to the area and found this hidden gem, Tommy was absolutely wonderful. He was very patient and kind when I approached him and asked for a service right at 6pm almost an hour before they close. I got my acrylic nails taken off and have a nice gel manicure with a slightly pink hue. Super cute and very work friendly for myself. I will be coming back ! The photo doesn’t do justice, but I’m very pleased with the service.

Brendaly Felix Hoang I’ve come here twice once for my child and once for myself. I love the way Traci does my pedicure. She is detailed, cleans and trims very well. I also love how she paints my nails! I will be back!

Puentes Maria “Luisa” I had dinner around the corner from here, saw they were open and walked in. I saw Tracy and got a gel mani and "regular" pedi. She was very easy to speak to, friendly and nice. $65 for both services is well worth the money. I will definitely be coming when Im back in town.

Itzayanne Montenegro Got a pedicure from the gentleman owning the shop, he was very kind and was able to fit me in last minute. Did a great job and took his time to do great work on my toes. I definitely recommend anyone in the area to try them out. Good honest kind people.
