Cassidy Conroy Cons: Dirty salon. My nails were filed too thin and burned badly when acrylic was applied (before gel polish/UV). Tech only used her nails to push back my cuticles and it hurt. Left with glue all over my fingers. Sat me at the kids table? Pros: My tech was quiet and friendly, I was helped quickly. Nails turned out looking good. Left wishing I had a better experience. Will be going somewhere else next time.

Angelica Flores Most luxury spot I’ve been to. Got a gel pedicure and it is the best pedicure experience I have had in Fresno. This place is worth the extra $10-15 with tip compared to other places. They are boujee, clean, and very sweet. You are treated like they are excited to see you and that makes the experience more comfortable. They’re very thoughtful about choosing polishes and make sure you’re confident about your choice. Other places give me anxiety and the workers are blatantly rude :( I’m making this my new nail spot ♡

N Rojeski This is my new favorite place! I’ve never had a full set done before and needed my nails done for an event. The staff helped to ensure that I was comfortable with the size and weight of the nails. I’ve been here a couple of times and they’ve always been so helpful with assisting me in selecting colors that compliment my skin tone. They are honest with colors and make recommendations for other options as they caution what the actual outcome of the colors might be. The younger gentleman provides thorough care when doing pedicures. Highly recommend checking them out.

Hannah Stuckenschmidt My bestfriend and I came to get a classic gel manicure and pedicure (although I got acrylics) with just black. I wanted short coffin/ballerina shape but they are fairly wide. Also the signature pedicure that we both got was supposed to be $25, we got gel as well and they told us its $5 more. We were both charged $40 for our pedicures. Her total price came out to about $80 and mine came out to about $95. The service was good and the people were nice, we just both feel like we really got played with the pricing.

Kirsten Wallace My only reason for this review is to hopefully help someone not have the same experience as I did. So lets start with how I wasnt asked for water or any kind of beverage my entire pedicure. Mind you, the pedicure I bought which was $63 said it included a drink, but was not asked once. Not even for water. The young lady doing my pedicure cut my skin on both my big toes. Never apologized, but did put some kind of antibiotic liquid on it which burned like hell. I will include pictures of my toes. I had to REMIND the nail tech 3 times to cure my gel. She kept forgetting to do so. Overall worse pedicure I have EVER gotten. I dont do this often & when I do I look forward to a good experience. This was the complete opposite. Sadly I will not be returning to this place I used to always go too. Beware please, the young gal didnt seem experienced or licensed for that matter. Who the hell forgets to CURE GEL?!? Just wild. & to charge people $60. You better off going somewhere else!!!

Amanda Roe Edit to add* It’s only been two weeks and my nails have chipped in multiple places. I’ve gotten acrylics for over 5 years at this point and have never had such poor quality. Genuinely awful product I was so excited after seeing the other great reviews but my experience fell short. I’ve been twice, and both times I was cut by the nail tech. I have gotten an acrylic fill by two different techs, thinking the first time was a one-off situation but nope. They don’t have many color options for gel, and when I didn’t like the first color I picked on my nail (one nail for sample) I asked for another orange color and instead the tech brought me a pink option that wasn’t even close to what I asked for. Sure it’s one of the more affordable places, but you get what you pay for.

My best advice for new customers is to go right when they’re open because it can get very busy & I always get treated very well and have friendly conversations with the kind lady’s there. Alexis Murshed I have finally found a technician that I consider excellent. I recently moved from the Bay Area to Fresno and have been in search of a good Nail Spa. I have tried 3 different shops and Venus Nail and Spa is the fourth. My previous technician was in San Jose and I had been with her for 15 years and she was just magical with her art of nails. I knew that I probably wouldn’t find anyone like that any time soon but I was so disappointed with the quality of Nail Spas here and on top of that, it’s much more expensive than the Bay Area. I guess that’s due to stiffer competition in the Bay Area but still, I was paying almost double here for less than half of quality. Okay, having said that I found my Unicorn at the Venus Nail Spa and to my surprise my new forever technician just started a week ago. Yay!!! She is excellent and my nails look natural again instead of a lumps camel back fake liking nails. Kelly is excellent and she listens. She was so patient with me as I did go on a slight rant of how disappointed I have been. She asked me what I was looking for and even asked if I had photos of how my nail was done in the Bay. She got it! I am now very happy and pray that she stays put. I highly recommend. UPDATE: 11/4/2023: I went back today to see Kelly as she recommended that I try removing my acrylic and try the Powder Dip onto my natural nails. I’ve had acrylics for over 15 years so I was a bit reluctant. Kelly assured me that if I don’t like it, then we can go back to the acrylics but the powder would be much lighter on my nails. So, I thought why not? So, Kelly patiently went through the process and I ended up with the results that really surprised me. I was afraid that my hands would look stubby but they actually look very natural. I took some photos and compared with my past acrylics and I totally love my powder dipped nails! I found a new way to have natural looking nails. Thank you again Kelly!

Lyndsie I’ve been here several times because it’s convenient for me, but I just can’t come back anymore. My nails end up looking pretty, but they are always SO RUSHED which leads to low quality work at times. Today, they cut me twice (I know it happens sometimes) but there was no apology at all, and I feel like that’s the least they could have done. In addition, they do NOT follow basic health safety protocols that are in the best interest of everyone. They’ve constantly grabbed items from bins labeled “soiled” (yes, it’s happened multiple times that I’ve been; every time except once actually), and their establishment is not kept to a high cleanliness standard. The floors are always really dirty, and so are the counters. I gave this business multiple chances because of convenience and because I know that mistakes happen, or I thought maybe it was just one or two people grabbing from soiled containers, but it seems to be almost everyone. I love supporting small businesses, so I hate to leave this review, but I had to be honest so others can hear my experience and observations while making their choice of where to get their nails done. Hopefully the owner can read this honest review and implement some new employee trainings/protocols.

S D I landed at Fresnos airport and had two hours to kill before the next train to Merced so I decided to get my nails done at "The Little Nail Shop" while I waited. These ladies are great at what they do and their customer service is top-notch, they will make you feel at home. They even offered me something to drink while I got a pedicure, I mean not many places do that. Now, dont get crazy margaritas are not on the menu lol but you cant got wrong with a nice refreshing juice or bottle of water. The place is clean, comfy and welcoming. They also have a ton of colors to choose from. Highly recommended if youre in the area. Thanks ladies for the great customer service!

Ly Tay Very disappointed I would not recommend this shop!! I took my wife for the first time there and will never go back again. Very bad quality..the paint came out the next day. The nail shape isn’t right. When we went back to get her nail fix, they still not do it right. The paint was not dry and bubbles but the lady she doesn’t care. She just put the top coat and let us out. Don’t waste your money guys!!! I would give them 0 star if I can…

TR Camacho The best nail experience Ive ever had! Got the Delux pedicure, and I think I forgot how to walk after that massage. The nicest woman ever too! The attention to detail and comfort was amazing. They even gave me a bag for my shoes since this was a last minute decision and I didnt wear flip flops. Im definitely coming back the next time Im in town.

Debbie Goodman I got my “going back to school“ pedicure yesterday. My practitioners name was Yasmin. Very nice, very personable. And she did a great job. I also tried a new color that I really like! It’s sort of a hot pink with a shimmer. The owner is very friendly and makes me want to come back. This place is located just north of the high school where I work. They also offer discounts the month of your birthday if you get on their emailing list.

They remember personal things from previous conversations that lets you know they listen when they talk to you, not just making small talk for the money. Dulce Lopez Absolutely loved it here! I moved to Fresno from LA about a year ago and have been looking for and trying place after place without any luck until today! I came in for a fill and a pedicure — the place is really clean and the people here are really nice. I got my toes done first and it was a pleasant experience; my toenails were filed down nicely just the way I like it and wasn’t hurt in the process. The woman who did my pedicure was soft and careful! My fill took a little longer because the place I had went to 2 weeks ago did a bad job. The woman who worked on my nails today took her time and fixed my nails — she definitely put in some work (truly appreciate it!). My nails are now looking NIIIICE and are not thick (huge huge point for me). Highly recommend if you’re looking for a good place. Will definitely be coming back!

Teresa Trujillo Had my appointment at 10:30am and didnt have my nails started on until about an hour later because a regular came in about 40 minutes before me to get squeezed in for a pedicure. With that being said I am most definitely about to be a regular here because even though my appointment didnt start on time my nail tech Christina did such an amazing job that I wouldnt mind waiting again if need be just to have the privilege of her working her miracles on my hands. My hands are so soft and cleaned up. I really wish I took a before picture because the difference is very noticeable. After soaking my hands for a while, my fingers looked like zombie fingers with all excess skin and hang nails. They are now pristine thanks to Christina. It is Veteran owed by a very nice gentleman. Very grateful for this place and will be back many times in the future.

Ka Vang This is probably my 3rd time coming to this place. I really liked it because this was my first time my nails had ever stayed for soo long. Unfortunately, my last visit was such a bad experience. The last time I visited this shop was maybe on Tuesday of last week (04/02), I only did pedicure. I had a guy who worked on my toe nails. So as he was doing my nails, he was taking off the old gel polish since I had pink ones from before. I’m assuming when he was filing or trying to take off the old gel polish, he chipped one of my nail off. At first, I didn’t feel any pain until he started putting the wax and gel to my feet. I started feeling a sharp pain and I told him that I’m feeling a sharp sting to my left feet. He didn’t understand because there was a language barrier between us. As he was taking the wax off, I notice my two feet to the end of my left nail was lifting up. I just thought maybe it was my dried skin lifting up from the wax. As he was cleaning my nail, I notice he didn’t tried chipping it off. I thought my view was different from where he is looking at so maybe it’s me. After he was done with my nails, I see that there was a little bump on the bottom of gel. And again, I just thought he didn’t do a good job on the gel. And yes, when I was walking, it did hurt too. And ofcorse, I had experience incidents before where my skin or nail was cut too deep and I thought maybe he cutted my nails somewhere or massages my feet to hard that it’s probably just sore. So today (04/09) a week later, I noticed that that toe with the bump was still bleeding. It’s not bleeding a lot but it just looks like water mix with a little of blood. So I decided to take a look at it closer and notice the gel that was on top of my toe was already lifting. So as I was lifting the gel, I notice I didn’t even have any nails anymore on that toe!!! The nail tech probably tried covering where he took off my nails with the gel on top of it. So disappointing!! This is probably my last time getting my nails done here. ***You can also see little dried blood to the very left toe too on the picture.

Heather Ishida Unfortunately I had a bad experience here despite the great reviews at Lisas. I came in for a gel manicure and called before I went in to make sure there was space for me. I got seated right away and there were several staff members available for services. The ambiance was nice and the space looked clean. The nail tech cut my nails very short and not all nails were cut straight. Every finger on my left hand was bleeding after the cuticle trimming. There is some polish on my skin around the nails. There are also gaps on some nails where polish was not completely applied. I felt really sad with this experience since I do not often get my nails done. Im sure my cuticles were more work since I dont typically cut them back, but I have had plenty of positive experiences at other nail salons. I didnt get the name of my nail tech. I wouldnt come here again, although there seemed to be many other nail techs available who may complete their work differently. I hope others have a better experience.

Secret Prescott I’ve been coming to Lisa’s nails for five years and I have never been disappointed. The service is always five star and they just did an upgrade in the shop. They have new chairs. Everything is brand new. Naya Bay The nail salon seems to have a fair rating of 4.5 stars which is great. My service was a pedicure. Upon arriving I was seated promptly since there was no one there when I arrived on a Saturday afternoon. I was very pleased with the service an older gentleman had provided. However, I noticed he used an old file which is usually reserved to shape and file artificial nails (only)not to be used on the natural nails of the feet. (Potential for injury). He did a pretty good job otherwise but you run the risk of getting dirty nail files used on you. Finally, he handed me off to be polished by a woman whom I had to ask a total of two times to fix my nail polish and started to gaslight me by saying it was because I chose regular nail polish versus Gel which out of the 25 years I’ve been getting pedicures that has never been the case. Please do better and acknowledge mistakes not by blaming customers but by simply doing better. Thank you!

Jeannette Copeland I stopped by this place on a Thursday afternoon for some beetlejuice inspired manicure nails, and a pedicure. I got the diamond gel pedicure and it was so relaxing. My feet are so baby-soft. My manicure is so gorgeous. I love my hand painted spiderwebs. The quality and price are very good, give them a try, you wont be disappointed.

When I asked him to fix it .. he did nothing only argued .. they charge me 107 for such a poor service.. they are so rude… do not want to listen and I do T want to fight.. But I will never go back and I do not recommend this place to anyone too!!!!

Review Queen 2 It was so good. They offered so many ways to keep my fingers and toes healthy and that is information that i feel like i should have paid for. They are very knowledgeable at questions I asked and if someone didn’t know they asked someone to help. It was all teamwork and they were so humble and nice. They even took the extra mile and got a dry paper towel for me to dry my nails. They were all happy smiles and I will go back time and time again I think I just found my new nail home! I also got a pedicure which was so good also

Gina Contreras Tried this place today and was extremely happy with my nails! Tony did a wonderful job on executing exactly what I wanted! They were extremely kind and well priced! Definitely would come back! (July 25th) The ring got upgraded and so did the nails! Let me start off by saying Tony executed my vision today! He went above and beyond to get my nails the way I liked. I’ve never done chrome to my nails and wasn’t sure how it would look with the blue I chose so he had them do a test nail with the combo before he did it on my nails. Extremely happy with the results!
