Crystal Okoc This girls are amazing here. They’re supper professional and everything is on time. I booked a pedicure appointment and when I got here they take me in right away. They have nice and clean spa chairs and they also use disposable liners. All the items they use like files buffer and pumice stone are disposable. It was so relaxing and they use organic sugar scrub for every pedicure. I know most place charge extra for it but it’s included here. They finish your massage with essential oil hot towel and it’s so good. If you’re not coming here for a pedicure you’re missing out on amazing quality.

Arielle Lopez I have been coming here since they opened and have been a loyal customer. I am a latina woman and I have always felt very comfortable and taken care of here. They are professional, they have great prices and they offer quality service. They have many loyal customers because they are the best. I always get compliments on my nails because Nailington has made them look so good! Thank you love you guys

Soyeon Kim First time trying chrome with my GelX and absolutely loving how it turned out. My nail technician (Tieti?) was the sweetest, was attentive to details and my request and was amazing. Love it and definitely going back! it was $80 for gelx and $20 for chrome

Hashaa Tumur I’ve been coming to this salon over few months now and every time when I get my nails done it lasts more than 4 weeks without any problems. I get hard gel/ builder gel overlay and my nails never been naturally this long before. They don’t overbook themselves or try to get every walk ins. I highly recommend to book an appointment in advance. You won’t spend your half day at nail salon anymore. They take you by appointment on time and finish your service about over an hour.

Hayley Gulizia For years I was religious with my last nail salon until they convinced me to do hard gel and it was chipping within the week. After two weeks going back to the salon to fix one nail, I decided to find somewhere closer to home and came across nailington. The first time I came I think I had Jenny and I was going to Argentina for a month. I got back home and couldn’t come in for another week or two and they were still great (although way too grown out). Every single time my nails look amazing and never chip or come off. The girls spend way more time here than most Salons. Also hard gel has saved my nails too, I’ve never been able to grow my natural nails so long that I’m asking them please cut them way shorter! I highly recommend. This time I had Ana and Zaya and they both were soo thorough and amazing. Helping me pick a neutral color for a vacation, and fixing the shape a little bit from what I’ve learned I like as time has gone on. I’ll definitely ask for them both again. Thank you!

Jessie Chan I always see Yujin and she does my nails perfectly every time! I just show her a picture of what I want and it always turns out even better than the picture. Everyone who works here is friendly and welcoming and I’d highly recommend getting your nails done here.

Tumurbaatar Hadaan Nails on 6th is hands down the best nail salon I’ve ever been to! I’ve been a loyal customer for a long time, and every visit is nothing short of perfection. Yujin is incredibly skilled—so fast, precise, and absolutely amazing at cutting cuticles. Their talent for creating even the most intricate nail designs is unmatched! The entire team is beyond friendly, making every visit feel warm and welcoming. The salon itself has such a calm and relaxing vibe, making it the perfect place to unwind while getting a flawless set of nails. I always walk out feeling so happy with my nails, and I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. genesis villatoro The only way I will ever go back to this place is if I get a refund. So i’ve been to this place about 4×. For hands and toes. The first time I had a good experience on my toes but a bad experience on my hands, the lady which I do not know her name who did my hands made them very, very thin with the machine my nails normally lasts over one month, especially because I get HARD GEL! But when I come to this place, they only last one week and a half and they start breaking and it’s because the lady uses the machine too long on my nails to remove the nail polish. She does not remove the nail polish like normal nail salons does!! She uses the machine instead it makes my nails very thin . keep in mind i’ve been getting my nails done since I was 15 years old meaning I’ve gone to 20 plus places I have never ever had a bad experience ever in my life until I came to this place. I don’t normally leave bad reviews unless I really dislike the service. But I really have to complain . So the first time I said whatever’s maybe it was my nails but boy was I wrong the second time another lady did my nails so no complaints . But the third time. I saw the girl again and she did my hands and I told her my situation and she still did them very very thin AGAIN and they broke within a week. that is when I decided to go to the nail place and I spoke to the owner. The owner said they could give me a discount I don’t know how much because I never went back. I never went back for the refill . I went somewhere else and finally decided to come back again after 4 months . I went back again November 22 Friday around 10 AM. That’s when they open. Keep in mind I NEVER ASKED FOR THE DISCOUNT I ignored it because I just felt very bad and I do not like complaining like this. Anyways What a coincidence the same girl that keeps messing up my nails is there. Reason I’m stating the time and date is so the owner checks the cameras and sees the girl who did my nails. She was the only one there at the time until her coworkers started walking in 20 minutes later I was the first customer that day And of course now my toes and my hands are falling apart. They are broken. Even after getting HARD GEL. Within a week and a half. How is that possible?? I have never experienced this in my life. and it’s only been one week and a half. I still tipped her because I’m not an ass but I will never ever go back again. Only way I will is if I get a free nail set, I am a loyal customer But with this situation I won’t ever go back. Very very disappointed. Waist of my money and time .!!! My hands 4 of my nail fingers are breaking already. And my toe as well!! They bend so easily and break.

Eliana I have been a loyal customer of Honey Bee Nail Salon for some time now, and I can confidently say that their exceptional service and attention to detail make them stand out in the industry. The Popescus didnt really care for this nail salon. Reasons: 1) The chairs are uncomfortable (see photo). There is a ledge that your feet rest on and I just didnt like this setup compared to traditional spa chair 2) They dont use disposable liners- important for hygiene between customers 3) The staff just werent that friendly My actual manicure and pedicure were okay. I wouldnt return for the reasons above . Teh price was reasonable- $45.00 for Manicure/Pedicure with long lasting quick dry polish

The woman doing my nails, Jenny helped me pick a shape that would get rid of my worries and from there did an awesome job! I have gotten so many compliments on my nails! I opted for a simple look and it is so very worth it!

Nicole Hyman Ive been looking for a new nail place so my boyfriend and I tried Honeybee Nails for the first time today. We live close by and both wanted a mani/pedi. We called ahead and made our appointment. The staff was friendly and attentive, Amy did a great job and helped me pick the perfect red. The place was busy so they only had time for a basic mani/pedi, but we each had two people attending to us (hands and feet). Will definitely go back.

Went to Honey Bee for the first time yesterday and got a Gel French Manicure from (Nara - I believe - I hope I got her name right!) and she did such a beautiful and detailed job. Loren Dixon Vicky did my nails. Vicky is amazing. She cared about the health of my nails and did an excellent service. I got a gel polish change and my real nails were cracking at the sides and she fixed them and they’re growing beautifully. Thank you Vicky!

Marie Wingate I arrived at 730. The store hours says it closed at 830. I came for two nail fix and they refused to service me claiming to be busy when one of the techs were finishing with a client. They are lazy!

foxx brown I paid $80 for a refill. They are over priced and they change their prices every time you go. Good job on the nails but inconsistent pricing. My nail broke the day after getting them done and when I went back to get it fixed they tried to turn me around.

Kirsten Izer I don’t normally leave reviews but I’m so happy with my experience here, I wanted to give credit where it’s due! Got acrylics for the first time in years — I was nervous as fake nails can easily look so messy and tacky but I’m thrilled with the result. The nail tech was so intentional with each step, making sure everything was well done before moving on to the next. It hasn’t even been 24 hours and I’ve already gotten so many compliments on how good and natural they look. Everyone at the salon is so helpful and communicative too. Price is rlly fair too! Wonderful experience and will be back!

Dina Cook They do the best job. The salon is very low key and quiet and decorated simply but extremely clean and the staff are truly skilled.

Rose Valerie four days ago I went to go get Gel X on my nails and got charged $140 only for My nails to fall off four days later. I went back and asked of the girls too fix one of my nails fell off and as soon as I went back home, another nail fell off two hours later. I am truly disappointed because I had to pay so much money for a basic french tip And even tipped them on top of that And they didn’t even last a week. They told me that my nails would last three or four weeks. If you are looking to get Gel X This is not the place to come. They won’t last and they overcharge.

Christine c do not go here, my nails only lasted a week and was more expensive than any nail salon I paid. I got my nails done for the first and last time. I came here on the 17th. paid 155 plus tip for regular polish pedicure and regular polish w/ tips. already expensive and the nail technician nickel and dimed me for everything and insisted I tip her more which was ready bad vibes and tacky. today is the 29th I came back because since it’s been less than 2 weeks they should at least offer to fix them. they did not! she said it’s been 2 weeks which is wrong it was only 10 days and the first night I had them they popped off. do not go here! overpriced chop shop nail salon, not even luxurious and they nails dont even last.

Josie M. I was recommended the salon by incredibly sweet individual. I’m in the sales industry and have to look top-tier at all times. I drove from Ontario down to Echo Park with one particular individual in mind. I had already called and made an appointment and unfortunately, I was going to be late. I called twice, and actually spoke to the owner. The owner then commented to me in a disapproving tone that her shop was not answering the phone so the calls were being directed to her cell phone. I requested for her to let her nail tech know that I would be late and if it was still OK to go in. Please remember I’m driving into LA from Ontario . After driving almost 2 hours to get my nails done i go into the salon, all the individuals there turned to look at me, but none address me. I asked for June. It literally took June 2 minutes to direct her attention to me. No one was sitting at her chair and she then addressed me letting me know that she would not be able to attend to me because I was late. I let her know that I had called in to make sure that it was still OK to go in. She simply said sorry I have two customers coming up. I politely said thank you and walked out of the salon. Every business has a right to refuse service, but this salon was one of the most unprofessional places that I’ve ever attended. I proceeded to call the owner after I left to let her know I was severely disappointed, and I felt completely disregarded after I made sure that they understood that I Lived an hour and a half away. If I drove that far, it was because I thought they were worth it. Unfortunately, they felt that their client was not worth it. They did offer to send me down with a different nail tech but by this time, I was no longer enticed to sit in someone’s chair at someone’s salon where I knew they were not going to care or appreciate me or my business. I would not recommend this salon simply because Of their disregard towards their clients. I may be a picky client but that means I’m a loyal client and that means that I will always appreciate the work and the time that is instilled in me. Your work does not go unnoticed or disregarded and I will always tip.

Sunny Trac I have been coming to Twin Nails and Lovely Lashes for a decade. Tanya is the boss and she always accommodates me when I want eyelash extensions and/or waxing. She is fast and literally does the best job. The whole staff there has been servicing me and my girls and family/friends for years with manicures and pedicures. They are all attentive and make every experience feel fun and also relaxing. I am happy to support small, woman-owned, person of color businesses and I would highly recommend Twin Nails and Lovely Lashes.

Ayu Tanaka FYI I don’t normally write reviews unless I think it is necessary… Went in for a pedicure for a vacation—was immediately sat and worked on a few minutes later. I was upsold to a gel pedi but didn’t realize it was an additional $17 to the service, I thought that it was included in the service I selected ($58). Having the pedicure itself was fine, and the person who did my nails was nice and checked multiple times if I was ok. During the service there were a few ants crawling around the seat which I flicked off. Was fairly fine with the service, though it ended up costing $84 without tip which I felt was steep given the atmosphere + bugs + the quality of items used (like the exfoliant, lotion, etc). Didn’t hit until a day later when my toe started aching. Then another one. And when I got on my flight it was hurting so bad and when I took off my sock my two of my toes were swollen, achey, and pus was coming out of it. Sadly at that point I was stuck on this flight for 14+ hours and going on trip where I will be walking a lot. My toes are getting worse and I had to go to a pharmacy in a different country I don’t know the language and get medicine for this paronychia RIP

The nails are always superb - whether you’re getting gel, a pedi, gel x - I am always so so so satisfied with my nails. Genuinely can’t beat the price for the service ANYWHERE. I always show them a photo of what I want and I get an even better set of nails!

Mia s It’s really not worth it for the service you get. I’ve been going here for years since before they switched locations. It’s always been on the cheaper side (definitely not a luxury experience) but they got the job done and you knew what you’re paying for. That being said, I always let go/overlooked the imperfections with my manicures and pedicures (I’ve been cut multiple times) because the price was so good. If I wanted something better I knew where to go. The last time I went here though will unfortunately be the last. They raised their prices and the service is the same if not slightly worse. You definitely have to know what nail techs to go to and who not to go to which you shouldn’t have to do. They should all be good and have amazing attention to detail. I’ve attached images of my last manicure with them. Funny enough my pedicure turned out beautiful and that’s because I had two different people working on me. So you can really see the difference between techs. It’s unfortunate I won’t be back but there’s a lot of salons in LA

The Amber Smoke I came in 2 weeks before I was set to get a manicure because I saw the shop being built. I told the lady I wear my real nails and they look like fake nails but theyre real and I need someone who can do my nails with care. She told Annie or Kevin would be the best choice for those types of nails. I felt she was a little cold after. When it was time to get my nails done I called and made my appointment. I asked for Annie or Kevin and they booked the appointment with someone different when I arrived. I told the woman that these were my real nails. She gave my a smart and cold reply, almost like "so". It took me 6 months to grow my nails out after someone filed them too low. Once she started everything was moving along normally until she flipped my hand over to "clean" the nails and filed my real nails on the inside. I started pouting because I realized that she had thinned out the nails and no other technician has ever done that on my real nails. The woman who did my feet was coughing and then took her mask off and gloves and started massaging my feet with her bare hands. Now after 6 months of no issues, 4 of my nails have broken. Not the warmest place and not good for nail health.

Jude Andam I get my nails done here by Yumi. I followed her from her previous salon. She’s amazing! I would consider removing 1 star because this salon could use a little interior updating but I’m more interested in the service versus the setting.

James Choi If you’re looking for a nail artist who truly goes above and beyond, go see Yuri at Nail Story! She gives each client the VIP treatment, carefully prepping my cuticles by hand (no machines!), which makes every appointment feel extra special. Yuri’s attention to detail is next-level—she applies three or four coats perfectly for full coverage, and my nails always look flawless. Her design skills are incredible too; I often bring photos, and she recreates them perfectly every time. Even the stones are so secure that they never catch on my hair! If you want nails that look stunning and last, Yuri is the one to see. Thank you, Yuri!

Erika Urena Do not come to this salon. They do not know what a gel refill is. They removed 3/5 nails and then offered to repaint them without refilling them after I asked to not be charged for the removal for the false advertisement in order to still be able to get my nails done.

Helen Hassan Its a cute salon. My mani gel x and pedi were perfect, and the prices are unbeatable but just as good as the top salons. They have a lot of cat eye polish colors to choose from. Also, Kim and Kimberly are so friendly and sweet. I paid half of what I normally pay, the work was done quickly but precisely. They know what theyre doing at Kims Nails.

Kyara Sutton Got my toes done here and the ladies were super nice and friendly. Also the gel pedicure was only $30. I had a great experience and recommended this spot to my roommate who went to try it the next day! I would come back I liked how they shaped and painted my toes but they did chip after two weeks. I’m still looking for somewhere where my toes won’t chip as quickly but for the price and service they are great!

Jermaine See My friend recommended this nail place and I couldn’t be happier with my wedding nails. My nail tech was incredibly patient and really took the time to understand the exact look I wanted. She paid attention to every detail, making sure my nails looked just right and matched my vision perfectly. I am super appreciative of her! This is nail gel x.

Miaa Jane I went to this location once and was shocked with the service being so well I was offered water and snacks, my nails turned out great and this was such a great experience. My second attempt at this location and my nails turned out nice I just didn’t feel like I did the first time, not being offered water meanwhile I watched every other person get asked would they like water, my pedicure was $63 which turned out to be $90 because they charge $17 for gel and $10 for French tip. I am not one to complain about the price because if I like the service enough I’ll come back. My gel ex was $125 and I tipped $20 which brings my total to $235. I wish my experience was more similar to my first because I would definitely return.

Jeong Yoon Seong (Kaylie) This is ridiculous. Its week three (got my nails from travis), and all my gelx are gone. Gel x are supposed to last you for weeks! They were peeling off (week 2 photos) so I even went in for a fix paying extra 15 buxks and it did not stay. This is the quickest I had gelx fell out. Truly unbelievable! And I just called them and they said there’s nothing they can do! I am literally never coming back. Stay away!!!

B Ng I’ve been coming to Apple Nails for a couple years now and thanks to Vanis and Patricia, I have been able to grow my nails out with hard gel builders. They take care of my hands and my nails - and try to fit me in as soon as I can if I have a break and I call or text them about it. They also have an online portal that is super easy to make appointments, too. I’ve seen many people come in as walk-ins and be accommodated, and I also see that if someone’s appointment is delayed, they do their best to communicate and make sure the clients are compensated for their time appropriately, too. I have also seen many customers walk in and throw a fit if they cannot be immediately accommodated. I come here regularly for both hard gel mani and regular or gel pedi. Really appreciate the time and care they take on my pedicures, too. For regular pedicures with callous removal it will be $40. Cost of my pedicures have been anywhere from $60 to $120 depending on the designs (seen in the photos) I request. If I am doing both pedicure and manicure, they’ll do the manicure at the massage chairs, and if the pedicure wraps up and there is a manicure table available, they ask me if I’d be more comfortable sitting at the manicure table to finish up. They accommodate and give options how to proceed. They accept cash, Venmo, and with a credit card fee they’ll also do credit cards for payment. Please continue to support this small business.

Mary Grace Quezada Got my nails 2 weeks ago. 3 completely came off within days of getting them done. Went back 2 times. Made me wait an HOUR to redo my pointer, & it broke again 2 days later. DONT GET THE PREGNANT LADY to do your nails! Not nice.

India A CBD pedicure was so relaxing and for the leg massage they used a timer so I was certain that I got my moneys worth. Excellent service, they were also really good with my guy friends pedicure. (Sometimes its awkward getting a pedicure as a male, and they werent at all weird about it)

Julia Sinelnikova Danielle is an absolute acrylic and gel genius for artistic, pointy, or 3D nails. She is sweet to talk to and also the fastest nail tech I’ve ever had for the level of detail she does. The pricing is worth it. A lot of salons have varied pricing but similar level skills on hand… this place goes above and beyond. Perfect environment with tea, coffee, and snacks as well. They decorate for every holiday.

Lori Aliksanian Excellent nail prep and attention to detail. My nails are perfect every time and last 2-3 weeks even with heavy handwashing. Highly recommend!

Jackie Bihr Wow it’s taken me too long to write a review! I’m a super fan of Emily’s and have been to see her I think 4 or 5 times now. She’s a perfectionist with the cuticles, and I appreciate that so much because mine get dry and visible after a while. I don’t do anything too hip. I’m just not capable of pulling it off. But she did a modern French tip gel manicure with red on the tip and a nude base and amazing! I got complimented quite a bit. J P Ok this place is a vibe. As soon as you walk in you feel at peace not rushed and not to mention the place is cute. They listen to what youre asking for rather than doing nails their way. I hate when techs want to do their styles at other salons and dont listen to the customer, not at this place they get it, they understand the meaning of customer service! I just moved to DTLA and have not had a good experience with other places until today, im so glad i found this salon. They did a really great job. Im very simple and like the natural look, they did exactly that. I was so happy. Now, it was a little pricey for a classic pedi (regular no gel) and fills, I normally pay $80 - $90, but honestly I didnt mind because I was happy with the results. I just need to budget myself on other things so I can afford this service and definitely tip more next time. I will be returning for sure! A big thank you to Danielle (fills) & Julie (pedi).

Tiffany Moran I keep coming back to get my nails done by Sarah. During the many years I have been coming I have always been satisfied with her work. I feel safe coming here even during covid times as she makes sure each client has their temperature taken and wash their hands. My nails always look elegant and classy. The gel manicure lasts for 4-6 weeks and so do the crystals. Sarah is really good with nail art/designs and if you love bling this is the place for you.

Tammy Towns After going to Yelp and finding excellent reviews here, I called at 0950 on Saturday and got an appointment for 10am for a gel mani/pedi. First of all, there is plenty of FREE parking in an underground garage. Relief!!! I walked in and was greeted warmly and immediately seated. Helen did my pedicure and manicure. I felt pampered for the next two hours. She took her time, we had excellent friendly conversation and I left there feeling so spoiled! My toes and fingers thank you!!! I have found my new go to place for mani/pedis!!!!

Anna Inoue I found Christine from browsing local nail salons and was glad to receive a service from her. She is very welcoming and made me feel like at home. Her work is detail oriented yet efficient. I get dip powder and lasts a long time. I really like the fact that even when the nails grow out, they grow nicely, and the cuticles stay clean, which makes my nails appear put together longer. I saw other clients getting Gel X and the designs look beautifully crafted. I definitely recommend getting nails done from her! :-)

Rei Reding Christine is a total boss babe! 2 weeks with my set and they still look like new. literally blown away. She’s the perfect hybrid of quick, efficient, and thorough. I wanted blue sparkly stiletto nails for new years and she created the night sky of my dreams on them! I found Christine on a whim after my nail lady moved away. Georgia G I wish I had a “before” photo so you could see what a hot mess my nails were when I came in. This was my first manicure since the pandemic began and what a treat. The woman who did my nails didn’t rush and paid such attention to detail. She cleaned up my cuticles and shaped my nails the way I like and my gel manicure is flawless. There are clear plexiglass barriers at each station and everyone was masked, so I am glad they are keeping their employees safe. Huge selection of colors, parking lot, they accept debit cards, and they’re playing calming classical music with a tv permanently set to a naturescapes channel? My new favorite nail salon.

Gwen Vo What I asked for vs what I got. Came to get gel polish removed and redone so no cuticle prep needed just soak off and simple dotted design over clear coat— $55. I asked her to fix the flower but she said it’s cute and it’s just one. Wasn’t in the mood to argue so I just paid and left because clearly they’re not capable of doing what I wanted

Christina Pereira Ive been coming to Sweetly Nails for over a year and a half. I even moved to the Valley during this time and continue to go back. The salon is located in the shopping plaza with Trejos Donuts so there are parking spots. It can get crowded at times, but I always try to go on the week days. They do all types of nails, (regular, gel, dip powder, cat-eye, and designs). But what Ive gathered as a repeat customer is only certain technicians do the dip powder, so if this is service youre interested in Id suggest calling to make an appointment. Amy has been my go to person since my first day there. Shes easy to work with and my nails always look great. I have witnessed on two separate occasions women come in and get well over $150 worth of work done on their hands and feet then make up an excuse to "get money from the car" and then not come back in to pay. All the women in this shop work hard, especially when customers ask for special designs or other time consuming extras. They deserve to be paid for their services, treat them with respect and pay them for the service they provide.
