John Kroll I recently took my son to Vintage Glamour Beauty Salon for a haircut and a perm, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere. The stylist did an exceptional job, transforming my sons hair into a stunning look that perfectly suited him. The cut was precise, and the perm was executed flawlessly. My son received so many compliments on his new hairstyle, and several of his friends were so impressed that they decided to get perms as well! I highly recommend Vintage Glamour Beauty Salon for anyone looking for top-notch service and outstanding results. We will definitely be returning for future haircuts and styles!

Jessica Harcus Penny is amazing. She is an expert at communicating and truly puts her heart into getting you the exact results you ask for. She even talked me into cutting my dead hair and the cut was perfect for my naturally curly hair OR for me to wear it straight (this is extremely hard to accomplish and I am not easy to please when it comes to cutting my hair) I will ONLY book with her from now on... Thank you for being so great at what you do!

Dominique Tanner As soon as I walked in I loved the ambiance of the Salon, very calm and cozy. My Hairstylist Penny is amazing and very knowledgeable she is very receptive to what I want and communicates with me throughout the haircut to ensure I will be happy with it. Blowouts seem to be popular at this salon and I now understand why. The attention to detail she provides is unmatched in Redding. Definitely Highly recommend.

Crown H Cattle Company While I am not an expert mani/pedi person, I found this business to be a clean and relaxing space with nice massage chairs. Loved the foot massage with my pedi/mani (no gel polish) session. Website is accurate with prices and services. I called for an appointment and was able to have my services within 30 minutes. The owner Amy is kind and professional.

Sherolyn I’ll start off by saying… I would not recommend using their online booking system. I made appointments online days ahead for 2 Detox Luxury Spa Pedicures and a Luxury Manicure. We arrived on time. The store was closed and the lights were off. I called the number and they told me they were appointment only despite the fact that’s a “walk-ins welcome” sign out front. I told them I made an appointment a few days ago online. They didn’t apologize but said they’d be there in 10 minutes. Their google hours don’t match their actual hours. When he , again, no apologies. The water for the pedicure was really cold despite telling him it was cold, it still remained cold. By the time I realized we weren’t getting the detox luxury pedicure it was too late to ask for it. Partly my fault. But he barely spent any time on my toes. The lady working on my boyfriend spent more time on his nails. When it came to the manicure the care was even less. He didn’t shape them and barely filled them after cutting them. They seemed bothered to have to be here. Needless to say I’m very unsatisfied with my experience. I think I provide more TLC to my nails on a regular basis than they did.

Bizzy Buzz I went here for six month with long finger nails and all I wanted was gel on them and so after going for six months every three to four weeks getting pedicures and manicure from Lisa , ended up resulting in having a nail fungus. When I had Lisa remove my polish at the salon I started to notice she was not sanitizing the nail files, also there was a lot of dirty files in the container she was storing them in …. Be aware very sad because I liked this place. It’s going to be a long time until my nails get “healthy “ again thanks to this place .

Shar I go here and get my nails done by Dawn, hair done by Trina, spray tan by Shawna. I can’t say enough about this salon. The atmosphere is very nice, the service was exceptional. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants exceptional service!

Kalene Hohman I have been going to Maria at Claws for almost two years now. She is absolutely wonderful. She is friendly, sweet, professional and I always always love my nails when I walk out. I can even bring pictures in for her and she can duplicate it exactly. Im so glad I found Maria and Claws. They have created a great friendly atmosphere that I love to be a part of. Theresa Mcgaughey I highly recommend this women. Im really scared about anyone even doctors to doing anything with me. She did my toenails, I was so scared my foot kept spazzing on me. She first started, thought I was gonna jurk away, but she told me step bye step what she was gonna do, , and Im highly recommend her cuz she did the impossible to the worst toenail. Its thick and brittle, but when she got done, I feel so much better, and didnt even hurt when she took out my ingrown nails. She even painted them for me, purple and blue my favorite color . Shes so awesome. And Im pretty dang poor but I can afford her every 3 months. I have skin growing with my toenails she was that good to not cutting me , like I do when I do my own. Gotta love this beautiful woman

Shay Rae I got GelX nails with Brenda before a vacation. She was very pleasant during the appointment and I really liked her. I just moved to town recently and was looking for a place to get GelX nails. I found her through the Apres website. She was able to set an appointment for me on Saturday morning before I left the following day. I have had Gelx before in L.A. and loved the product, my previously Gelx nails stayed on for 6 weeks before I had to have them professionally removed. During the appointment I asked her how long I should expect the nails to last and she said its dependent on how quickly your nails grow but I should expect about 3-4 weeks. My nails started popping off after day 10. When I got back to town I tried calling the salon directly and they have restrictions on who can call them? So I found Brendas number again through the Apres website, called and left a voicemail and never received a callback. I called again today and told Brenda I was hoping to come in to get my set fixed and she informed me over the phone she was too busy covering her husbands restaurant this week and that my nails "are like a manicure and need to be redone" Ive had gel polish last longer than her GelX nails. She was extremely rude and abrupt when I asked about setting an appointment to get my nails fixed and also claimed she doesnt work weekends, which is interesting considering my first and only appointment with her was on a Saturday morning. She clearly cant stand by her work and I would avoid her and The Nail Bar altogether in the future. I can buy professional nail glue and press on nails off Amazon and get them to last just as long as these nails that were "professionally done".

Bonita Esskew Brenda and Maripol do great work But!! If you make an appointment with Brenda she will frequently not be there or arrange for someone else to do your nails I didn’t think anything of it at first. Maripol is a lovely substitute. Today Brenda wasn’t here for my appointment and left me with a stranger; no one I’m familiar with In a pinch I wouldn’t mind. But this is the 3rd time. This practice makes me feel devalued as a customer.

Meg Marisol did a wonderful manicure and pedicure on my tired feet. I have not had a pedi in so long, since March. I have a problem with my toe nail on my big toe. It turns in, causing great pain. She was able to create a bridge which will forever fix this problem. My experience was finished by a great massage and wonderful products. I highly recommend Marisol and the shop.

Amanda Gull Everyone here is awesome, Ive had manicures pedicures here and both stellar. Thao does awesome fun designs, Brenda makes your nails look so natural its amazing. Marisol is so friendly and does a great gel pedi. Cant say enough good things about everyone here! You will not be disappointed!

Amanda Webb Very friendly, I enjoyed the time I sent there getting my nails done. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she did her best to make them just like the picture, but in fact she did them better than the picture. Very satisfied with my nails!!!

Kaity Kat At first, I was excited to leave a positive review. Although the prices are fair and the owners are friendly, my gel polish lasted a little over a week. Ive never had my nails chip so quickly after getting them done. A bit disappointed. (Photo shows now vs a week ago)

C Tg I had two nail break on me within the first three days after getting gel french tip manicure.I even had them made short so Im super surprised that they broke I even tipped them well I thought.It was a gift for my daughter for us both to get nails done and sadly they did not even last Ill have to have them redone by the 2nd of March....the gal and guy working were super friendly and cool but the nails didnt last.

Alison Houston I had this 2nd set done by the husband they are cute but they are in no where near what I asked for. When he said go pick your colors I picked a pack that had the blue I am wearing, and a white bottle I didnt know the same blue was in both bottles. I have only worn acrylics less than 5 times my whole life. I saw a design #27 with 3 hearts I asked him could he do it on my short nails. He said yes maybe one heart I said Ok I understand cause my nails are short. He paints my nails fully blue I thought he was going to put a white heart as we discussed. But it turns out all the pain was blue he pulled out these butterflys which were not what I asked for he placed them there fine but If you ask specifically for something and pay for it I think you should get it

Melissa Bryant Ive been getting my nails and pedicures here for years. All of the nail techs are really good. Lannie is the best! She is always sweet and kind, and does amazing nail art. I am not the most imaginative at nail design ideas so I just choose colors I like and let her do the rest! The prices are reasonable and I can text Lannie for appointments and same day drop ins so I dont have to wait. Ive been all over town before this and Honey Nails is the best Ive found.

Brittany Veign The first time I came to this place, I had a great time. I was sandwiched between two other women, and we discussed how difficult it was to find a nail place in Redding, Ca, that treats you with respect and gets the job done. All three of us talked about how we noticed that some salons don’t put the product close to your cuticles. It makes you have to come back sooner. Some salons will also judge you for a tip if it changes, then to see how service changes when the tip changes, and sometimes their service changes even when the tip is still increasing. We were tired of having our nails broken, lifted, and blamed for it. And so, we found ourselves at Honey Nails. I sat down, had service, and then paid. Unfortunately, I  can no longer put my hands under UV light because of the increased risk of skin cancer. Which is why I also went out and bought my own nail polish products. I talked to them about switching over the first time I came in. Today I went in for the second time. I had brought my own products in this time. She told me that she was going to need me to pay first before she did my nails. I asked her if that was a normal thing that they did here at the salon, and she replied that it’s because if you mess up your nails with your own nail polish, we don’t want to have to do it again. I usually would never pay before service, but I did pay before service. I was curious. She rushed through my toes. There’s no cuticle oil for my cuticles, nothing. I was concerned. Instead of asking in the salon in regards to paying prior to the service, I decided to call. When I called, she said, Oh is this Brittany? I mentioned wondering what her prices were for friends. And I also asked if it was going to be a reoccurring thing where I would have to pay ahead of time. I was just wondering what switched and if they do that for all of their clients. She told me that I was arguing with her and stopped answering me on the phone until I asked her if we were going to continue to talk like adults. 3 minutes went by. Then she told me that I was arguing with her and stopped answering me on the phone, then asked me to repeat myself. I said again that I just had a few questions. She told me she doesn’t understand what’s happening and that it’s okay if I don’t come back. Then she hung up on me. All in under 10 minutes. Milo, the dog was the best thing in this salon for me.

Katherine Leigh WORST PEDICURE EVER. Charged me $50.00. They used sugar scrub with NO water on my legs, cut into my big toe nail making me BLEED, didnt get the dead skin OFF my feet, and they didnt even file my nails after clipping. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

Susie Fitzgerald Having recently moved to Redding, I decided to try the mail salon that my Mother uses and am very happy with my first set of nails there... done by Lenny. She did a great job, and we engaged in meaningful conversation. She took her time on my full set and was gentle in the process. Will definitely return for my fill!

Haley Long Was terrible I was charged $50 cash with no receipt. She was on and off the phone every 3-5 minutes pausing my manicure it took 1 1/2 hours she hurt my hand several times I wanted marble and it looks like blue cow print 2 days after I got them my middle finger right hand started pulling up in the back and 4 days after today it popped off and the right hand ring finger one snapped off and ripped up my real nail. I’m livid I want a refund and I’m definitely never going there EVER AGAIN

olivia boles I’ve been going to Bebe nails for almost 3 years now. I don’t go anywhere else to get my nails done, because I honestly don’t trust any other place. Not only do my nails always look amazing, they also keep the place really clean and nice. All the employees are really good at what they do. Especially lanny! She is a talented nail artist and always does beautiful high quality nails. I tend to get longer and more complicated designs and she always does such a good job. I definitely recommend asking for her!

Kelly Ziegler CA-Redding I opt for regular nail polish only, with natural nails. I am very pleased that for the last 2 weeks the nail polish hasnt chipped or worn off. I am very active and type all day at work. I recommend them highly! They also took me as a walk in..great service!!

Vanessa I went in around 5 PM they only had two other customers so they were quick to attend me which was awesome. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and they said they could do it and well guess what? They did do it lol, Ive had bad experiences where I show what I want and they say yes at first but by the time it comes for them to actually do what I showed them they come up with "NO we cant its too hard to do that design!!!!" Very disappointing! But not here which got me really excited. First time here and believe me Ill be back soon. Oh and I only paid $25 for a GEL color change with a snowflake on the middle fingers.

Paula Dollins-Robinsin I thought my nails looked good until I looked at them better after I left. I will not ever go back. They were uneven, acrylic and nail polish all over my cuticles. One nail has a huge bump of product, not smooth at all. Do better, I paid $60.00 plus $20.00 tip (which now I wish I didnt give) I cant find a decent nail salon in this town!!!

Kristina Gauci Rose nails officially has new owners- AND WOW. What an amazing difference. Quality pedicure with proper care taken for my ingrown nails. Also did amazing work on my acrylics which I did not use to get at this location but now they do such a wonderful job! 10/10 highly recommended. Also Van she is wonderful I know she was well known for other salons in the area and she is one of the main people providing services here now. Anyone looking for her she’s here now! Hannah Burns The people here are so sweet! I took my stepdaughter in for her first salon manicure, and the gentleman who did her nails was so nice and patient despite her being shy and not quite knowing what she needed to do with her hands. He even gave her some cute flowers and gems on her nails without us having to ask, she absolutely loves them! Our nails look wonderful and he was speedy too, which is great when you’ve got an antsy kiddo waiting for your manicure to be finished lol. The salon is super cute and clean with nice music playing. They even have an adorable shop dog who my kiddo (and I) loved. Highly recommend Queen Nails!

Dustin and Brittany Bailey An and her team did an absolutely fabulous job for us! I took my daughter and her friends to have their nails and toenails painted to celebrate her birthday. She did incredibly detailed beautiful designs on their nails even with their tiny fingers. The girls loved getting the royal treatment! I also got a fabulous gel manicure and pedicure and another mom got a pedicure and they were wonderful!

Karly Harris I had the best experience with Amazin’ Nails. I have been here a few times and stopped getting my nails done for a while, but recently returned. Amazing Nails is the best salon in the area. The salon always smells nice, is extremely clean and well kept. It’s also quiet, and only a few clients are in the salon at a time, which I appreciate. I always get a dip powder manicure. They always take their time and the result is beautiful. The owners are extremely kind and friendly. I love getting my nails done here and I won’t go anywhere else!

Brandy Isola I made an appointment here after I had my first experience with dip manicure and extensions. I’m new to manicures so didn’t really make an appointment for the right service but Lily told me what she could do with the time she had slotted. The fact that they are busy is a good sign to me. She did an amazing job! You can tell she’s experienced and confident about making your nails look great. Their salon is beautiful and not too busy (not 10 staff working on 10 different clients at once) which I also liked. There was one other person getting a pedicure and raved about how much she loves them. I Will definitely be going back. Recommend making an appointment and ask for the right service. :)

Leslie Ellingson Great pedicure - shop is Super Clean and the staff are kind and friendly. Always check your color before finishing up. Have horrible calusus - like the Grand Canyon on my heels - and they get my heels smooth as silk! Recommend. Photo is two weeks after my pedi - still resort perfect.

D Treadaway Lovely salon with friendly staff and awesome pedicure chairs. I had the lemon drop pedicure and it was wonderful! It includes a hot stone massage, paraffin wax and hot towel wrap. They were meticulous with the polish and generous with the massage. No rushing through even though we ran past closing hours. I really appreciate the level of service I received here. Angel Frish I absolutely love my nails every time! I mainly go to kapow but kaochi and hli are so talented too. They do all sorts of lengths and are super honest about if they can make a design happen or not(which usually they can do whatever you want) Definitely have to book in advance but its well worth it. They use fresh nail files on you every time and send you home with the ones used on you so you know its clean and they try their best to fit you in on the off chance a nail breaks or the paint chips. And at the same price as most of the other nail spots around here, cant go wrong.

Vanessa Evans There is no one I love seeing every two weeks then Kapow and her sister Hli. They are professional, the environment they set for their clients is so welcoming. Not to mention I can bring my son and there are toys for him to play with when I get my nails done. Anytime I show her a picture she recreates and puts her own artistry into it. It’s been 5 years of seeing her and I can’t imagine going to anyone else.

You must have an apt to darken their door way (I understand this) however, the way they communicated this is less than professional. .When asking for an apt for a fill this is the response I received: “We specialize in gel and nail art only. I don’t think we are the right nail techs for you.”….. Glad I did more research!!

Melissa Dustin Been going here for years. Never been treated the way my daughter and I was today by Julie the owner. Both got nails done and pedicure. We got 2-$30 pedicures and a fill $35 new set $50 but they said cost $175. Ok paid it. Lady who did pedicure had no clue what she was doing and scratched my legs up. Also she had a wrap on arm with gross stuff like infection. Once she took gloves off. I had her stop. Game over. Paid and left.

Haidee Michael This is my second time at Pro Nails, and the same thing as my first, they did an awesome job. My acrylic nails are great and sturdy. Its the best type of nails ever. The place is clean and has an amazing atmosphere. Im definitely going back here.

Cynthia Villasenor When I came in I asked if they could do a nail fill and the nail design I had on a photo(second photo). They said yes, sat me down and did something completely different. The guy that did them and the lady that was there both said sorry dismissively and charged me $50 dollars for such an ugly design. Im very disappointed to say the least. Complete rip off... Alicia R. The people were very nice and I believe they honestly wanted to give me the kind of nails I was asking for. It was a fade (ombre) light to dark. Once my gel nails were finished and I was ready for color, I was moved to another employee because they said what I was asking for was not common. And this other employee said she knew how. Not exactly the case. She painted the tips of my nails, and used a small decal brush to "swipe" color around my nail. I was surprised at her technique but figured she knew what she was doing. She was very confident and even had 4 other employees standing there watching as she spoke to them. I assumed once she swiped the color around a little, she would have buffed it out to make the fade. That didnt happen. It looked terrible. It was random slashes of red and very gunky at the tips. No ombre look at all. More like a sloppy french tip. She applied the clear coat and the gentleman that did the first part of my nails asked if I liked it. My reply was "I like the shape" with a weak smile. I know I should have complained, but it wouldnt have helped. They didnt know how to do what I asked. So I left and went to a different nail shop on Lake Blv. I explained what had happened, showed them the same picture I had given to Pro Nails, and in 20 minutes I had a nicely done ombre natural to wine-red. Im giving 2 stars because the gentleman that did my nails, as well as the rest of the staff I had interactions with, were extremely nice. Just wish they had been honest about their abilities. The professional looking photo is what I showed them for reference. The other is what Pro Nails did. There is a very easy way to get this effect if you dont want to do it with powder. You just need a small sponge and a little time to build it up. Yes, It takes a little time, but the outcome can be beautiful. Sadly, not at this location just yet.. Im hoping they watch some YouTube videos and learn this effect. I really do enjoy the people and would like to return if they can be honest with their abilities. I would have been happy to choose a different idea had she just told me she wasnt sure how to achieve what I wanted. Theres no shame in not knowing. The shame was letting someone walk out with that mess, knowing exactly how it looked. Nails are a walking advertisement. >.

A W 62 year old guy...never been in a nail place in my life except to pick up and drop off my wife. The wife scheduled me for a pedi with Sarah and TOLD me I was going. Been married long enough not to argue and was so glad I went! Sarah made me comfortable, did all the maintenance I never have, and definitely improved the health of my feet. Guys ...these girls got something good going on here. Five Stars!

Called, got an appointment within an hour. My tech was amazing. Super patient while I decided on what I wanted and she made great suggestions. =] She stayed late to do a full set of acrylics. They came out great. She had the perfect manner. Never rough-not even once! The atmosphere was so nice. The salon was so clean and well lit. I will definitely be returning. And be a repeat customer. ♡ Loved it.

Lupe Martinez Probably the worst nail experience I have ever had. Please note that cuticle care is not included in a full set and will be charged an additional 10$ for a “manicure” I’ve never been to a salon that did not include that in the nail prep. He was very harsh and aggressive when filing, Shape was lopsided and uneven. The man didn’t say a single word the whole time, which is fine but very uncomfortable. He kept pulling out tools that were not new including the buffer and nail file were used already and no drill bits were labeled “clean” place is dirty I would never return or send anyone here after this.

Camilie Pride Ive always came here and never had a bad experience with besides this time i went to get a full set pedicure everything was fine until i realized the lady doing my nails dipped the tool in my foot water and put it back where she got it later on she ended up cutting not one but four of my toes one is very bad its been almost a week since its super swollen hard as a rock and very painful super disappointing as i paid $75 for them and have never once had an issue at this salon its always been my favorite and #1 recommendation

Tesy Clark Walked in bout 5:50pm with a full acrylic set I had worn almost a month and was utterly tired of looking at...ladies, u Kno...it was just that time. So ended up keeping it simple bcuz ok they were closing at 7 and I jus needed a clean up and change up. I was walking out a few moments before 7 and Lynn had finished my nails. She did an AMAZING job on shaping and my manicure as well as application of the gel polish. Im thoroughly pleased and the price point was almost average of what I usually pay at a different nail salon. I will for sure go back for my next freshen up and I will book with Lynn because i expressed having a hard time finding a salon that understood what look I was asking for when I express Id like my nails to not look thick and totally fake. So imma try her out with it and test her skills lol...she does amazing nail art tho so Im sure she will NAIL it...pun intended lmao I truly hope my search for an amazing nail salon is over! Will update after next visit!! **UPDATE** jus went In Today 2/25/25 to get the red changed and also went back to dip this time, the young lady that did my nails was not very fluent in English at all needless to say we had a communication barrier but the ladies working with her translated so she understood the assignment lol ....she was not very friendly, possibly because she could not converse but she did do a realli great job and Im highly pleased with how my nails came out! Lynn was there but helping another customer but she did some pretty nail art for me...shes very talented and over all Im highly satisfied with the consistent beautiful outcome with my nails. I will continue to come here and HIGHLY recommend this business and will continue to give them my support! I also want to note based on another reviewers review that commented on the place being dirty ..thats bogus, this place was clean and as far as tools go....Ive never been to a salon that used brand new files and buffers unless it was to that point of needing being replaced. Ive never also gotten cuticle care with sets and why should they if u dont specify a manicure with any service ur there to get...obviously that is another service so you have to PAY for it...smh and thats when "clean" sterilized tools come into play with the Mani and Pedi services....this place is on point imo and Ive been to quite a few in jus the Redding area that are whack.

Matt and Hanna Osborne In less than 24 hrs after my manicure, the polish was chipping, and my nails were so brittle and thin that they bent like a sheet of paper, and a few are even tearing. I have never had these issues. Im very disappointed, and I wont be returning.

Taz Diehl I called around 1130am and asked if there were 2 pedicure appointments available around 2p; and they had 2 appointments available for 230p. While this salon does have walk-ins available, I had read many reviews that stated that if you made appointments, you would get 1:1 attention from the owners, Tim & Jennifer. While we were about 25 minutes early, the owners were quick to put my husband and in the pedicure chairs. One of the reasons I chose this salon was the bags that are put in the pedicure tubs; because that showed me that the owners were understanding of cleanliness and keeping infections down. Tim & Jennifer are the owners of this gem in Redding, CA. The prices were reasonable and both took such great care of our toes. We felt like valued customers. We will definitely be back when we come back to town!!

Tiffany Schaffer Very nice experience! I came in the week before to get a couple of nails fixed that I had dipped elsewhere. She was very accommodating and efficient. I decided instead of going back to the other place that I would come to her to get my nails done and a pedicure! I switched back to gel as I didnt have a greatest experience with dip. There was no pressure to get more expensive services. She matched colors perfectly and did a really wonderful job on the design! I felt like I was really well taken care of and not rushed even though she was very efficient and did both in just over an hour... I will definitely be back!

Po Duncan The best place in town by far. I tried them all. Jenny and her husband are very professional and accommodating. Always do a good job and my gel nails last for over 4 weeks without breaking!

C.D. Aldrich This place is the best nail salon in all of Redding. I know because Ive been to quite a few of them. Thao does everything herself, and she is excellent at it. The best customer service ever, especially for people with mobility issues, like me. Her materials are top of the line and did not damage my nails. She is gentle and very careful not to cut or hurt you. Super clean and affordable. Fully accessible.
