Robert T Well, another green oasis in the Eastern suburbs, where parents can exhaust their children while catching up on gossip. While my photos show the usual type pf playgrounds found in these parks, the interesting feature is the very wide expanse of cleared grass, ideal for kicking a football, or an informal game of cricket. The other advantage is that it is only about 5 minutes’ drive from the large number of furniture, BBQ, Brand Smart, white good and household electronic stores on Maroondah Highway. Worth remembering when either the kids get sick of looking at fridges, or you run out of money!

James Cooney Pretty good park for our 4yo and I also raced my RCs while we were there. Lots of open grass and stone paths around. Only 5 parking spaces though.

Derek Rylah Nicholl Park Playground is tucked away in a quiet corner of Nunawading between the Tennis Club, school and Nicholl Park dog of lead area. This is a well maintained park for primary aged kids and smaller. Some picnic tables but no bin and no drinking tap. The main play spaces dont have much shade in the middle of the day.

Bill Henley Scouts Victorias new Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics centre will open at the end of June in Nicoll Park. It offers great STEM activities to Scouts from age 5 to 25. Scout groups need to book through Whitehorse District Scouts

Jacek Wawrzynczak Nice little play ground next to the dog park and tennis courts. Very little shade. Some shade sail would be very nice to have.

Felicity Langton Great space ... plenty of room for all sized dogs. Council peeps if you are reading this a bubbler would be good.
