Kelsie Wilson Great for photo taking! if you happen to miss it or are interested in seeing Billy up front make a short trip up to Emerald station afterwards. We were lucky enough to jump on for some photos up the very front where the coal is shovelled in.

Andrew Warland This is not a bad place to get a photo but its probably better from the road just above, a short walk away. Unfortunately it bucketed with rain just as the train went over! If you have friends or family catching Puffing Billy, this (or the road above) is a good place to catch the train passing over the bridge.

M Kaur Beautiful little spot for a nice picnic or kayaking! Few benches to sit. But would recommend you bring your picnic mat.

Helen Bower Lovely lake for water craft only, swimming is not recommended due to possible run off. Excellent for kayaking and fishing (dont eat fish caught) Has picnic tables, some with shade most without, lots of shade trees and portaloos as toilets are unusable. Good parking. Boat ramp, is very slippery. Be careful entering and exiting as entrance is in a 100km zone in overtaking lanes.

Ananya Sehgal Its a good place to go if you feel like a picnic or BBQ with a view. Dogs are allowed too. Its a small area though and can get crowded/hard to find spots to sit on weekends or public holidays. There are toilets, and BBQs available but somehow not a single drinking tap or even tap in the entire park.
