Nicky If you like eating Red Rooster chips under a tree, this is the place for you as it’s right next door. Gorgeous native trees, a shrine, a cannon, retro lamp posts and a cottage to look at scattered through the pretty gardens. My dog also loves to come on a weekly sniffari here! Well maintained and quiet.

Simon Williams Beautiful local park with a restored band style rotunda in the centre and established trees scattered throughout. No playground but good paths and benches.

Dominic Burns Beautifully kept gardens, so lovely to go for a walk in. There are no playgrounds though, so dont take kids here.

Kraken Val (ValKraken) Very pretty garden squeezed into suburbia.

Dave Well maintained public gardens in Surrey Hills (Melbourne). Went for the local Anzac dawn service and it was (respectfully) fantastic. The local community did a great job.

Mark Rocque Well maintained, lush suburban park with a sealed pathway. Perfect for kids on small bikes and scooters. Small playground for kids up to about 8. There is a drinking fountain but I couldnt spot any bathroom facilities.

Justina Advocate (ClïnkerMüncher) A pleasant walk with undulating terrain off the western side of Union Road and a beautiful winding waterway, it appeared there were lots of foreign weeds choking parts of the waterway and a community working bee would be required to address the problem. South of Riversdale Road the vegetation included some gorgeous wattles and appeared to be better maintained than north of Riversdale Road.

Hermina Bevilacqua Often visit this park for a rest and my dog to roam around. Quiet location. Not many people, which suits my dog because she is anxious around other dogs.

Nadine Cresswell-Myatt Lovely green park with advanced trees. Boulders for the kids to play on. While are well graduated path reasonably steep as Park is in a dip.

Goode Ivy “Masques” Love this park - I always walk my aunts dog here when visiting - a tranquil and calming area for me Found this picture on a Melbourne forum of Riversdale Road Camberwell VIC from 1975 and thought maybe people will enjoy seeing a picture of our beautiful city from before Google maps was around
