Various times I went to Kayla to fix my hair because I would experiment and then go back for her to fix me. I only trusted her. She is truly great at what she does. Claire A. Biggins Early in August 2023 I went to this salon because of its good reviews. My hair was white in front and brown in back of my head. I wanted to be blonde AGAIN like my hair was for the past 40 years. Due to the pandemic my hair grew out and became its natural color. Nicole proceeded to plop a bowl of bleach on my head. My hair turned orange and my scalp burned. I was told there was nothing to be done. I was handed a tube of conditioner and I left. By the time I got home my head was broken out with sores. My hair is like straw, I still have 2 sores and my hair is a gross color.

Justin Evans I am a man with long hair, and it can sometimes be difficult to find stylists that know the difference between mens and womens long hair cuts. At Chulas, I had the best cut Ive ever had since growing my hair out. This might be the first time I havent put on a hat or put my hair up in a bun after walking out of the salon. This will be my regular spot, and it should be yours too.

Triple G sports Took my teen age boy here because of all the good reviews. Told the stylist what style hair cut he wanted and showed her a picture.my son was growing his hair out for months trying to have hair to achieve the flow hair cut.The stylist agreed that he had a good amount of hair and would be able to do the hair cut. She took about 10 minutes cut off all the long hair that is part of the flow hair cut and basically ended up with a men’s business cut . I paid 20$ and tipped 5$ .I told the lady she cut too much off and she responded that she barely cut any off .This type of hair cut needs to be layered in order to achieve that look as the layering will thin the hair out with out cutting it to short.I tipped the lady 5$ out of kindness which made my sons more upset.I believe in paying for service and being kind no matter what . We waited about 45 minutes to get my sons hair butchered off in 10 minutes.If we wanted a men’s business cut I would have took him to a barber shop.My son will not let me take a picture and is wearing a cap to cover it up

Tim V Was a regular customer, but my last two visits have turned me off to this place. My second to last haircut was with someone other than Angel who was clearly very new and needed Angel to take over after about 30 minutes of struggling. My most recent visit was with Angel but the same guy who struggled to cut my hair previously sat in the seat next to me listening to tik tok on full volume and at one point tried to covertly take a picture of me on his phone for some reason while I was getting my hair cut but he forgot to turn the flash off on his phone. Overall, just very strange and off-putting. Unfortunate given the price is fair and Angel is very good at cutting hair.

A Johnson Loved getting my haircut here. I went from knee length hair to high-waist length hair, and Sara did a great job. I came with a few reference photos, and it was exactly what I wanted. Would definitely recommend if youre around Orange County.

Lily O’Day I’ve been here about 5 times and I’ve had a great experience every time with each stylist I’ve been to. But I will say though I’ve started to grow out my bangs because they charge $20 for a bang trim. And usually I’d have to get a trim every 4 weeks, so I’d definitely find somewhere cheaper for that. But every stylist I’ve had was great!

Michael J Walked in on a Tuesday a politely asked if they accept walk-ins for my 6 year old son. Guy closest to the door said “appointment only” in a rude demeanor. Primarily Middle East persons waiting and barbers were as well, so maybe they are not interested in Latino clientele. 5 barbers inside on a Tuesday and accept no walk ins. How you they grow their business. Read other reviews after posting, came back to edit after realizing it wasn’t just my experience.

Maria Redrum I love the staff....very elegant and chic ambient....I brought my son in to get a haircut for his first day of jr high the gentleman that did the cut was super sweet and understood exactly what I was looking for. My son came out looking amazing...more so then he already is ....I usually have a problem finding good stylists but these individuals have a talent and you can clearly tell they have a passion for what they do ...I met a lovely lady by the name of Jasmeen she was too kind she personally introduced herself to me and offered me a very good deal on a cut and color for myself I will definitely be returning to this salon. Loved it.

Sandra Nallely Husband and I received a cut and style from this place. We both had appointments but we still waited 30+ minutes. He does not know how to cut curly hair. My husbands hair (hes Italian) was somehow disheveled at the end, and his curls were just super dry and not defined at all. His hair looked awful. His hair is usually silky and his curls are naturally well defined. His hair just needed a trim and shaping, but he got a chop and disfigurement. My wavy hair was also off. The person before us had long blonde straight hair, so I figured my slightly waved hair would be fine. It was not, we had to visit another salon to feather out the chop chops . I dont know how they have a 4.7 review. Worst hair mistake we both made. Guy was kind, but never again.

Johanna PJoga Ahmed gave me the best hair treatment and customer service experience. The protein treatment he gave me left my hair soft, shiny, straight and just so beautiful and manageable. I truly appreciate his attention to detail and dedication to give me the best results. I truly admire his dedication. I can tell he is so passionate about providing the best service and truly enjoys what he does. He is so patient and does not cut corners, but takes the time he needs to achieve excellent results. I truly enjoyed the whole experience. I bought great products from him for my hair. He is very reasonable with his price. He is an expert on Brazilian products and treatments, and provided me with useful tips and resources that can help me continue to take care of my hair. Im thankful I found Ahmeds salon. He is unique and an expert in this field. I totally recommend his services.

Mariana Rocha I recently visited a Brazilian salon and couldnt be more excited about the results! I had a straightening treatment done by the wonderful Ahmad. My hair has never felt so soft and looks incredibly shiny! Although the process took about three hours, it was more than worth my time and money. Ahmad made me feel very comfortable and clearly knows what he’s doing; he is a true expert! I will definitely be going back! It was worth every penny—theres no sign of frizz at all! I love it!

Quincy Sofowora Ive had several Brazilian Blowouts in different countries, but none compare to the amazing job Ahmad did at this salon. His expertise and attention to detail are truly exceptional. Tina Forsythe Its not often that you can believe what you read on the internet, but you should DEFINITELY believe all of the 5-star reviews that Brazilian Salon (aka Brazily Salon) has! I came in for a long-overdue hair cut for my post-partum, post-permed hair-- aka a frizzy mess-- and treated myself to a Brazilian Blowout with Armando. I texted him to ask more questions about the service and the cost since I had never done this before, and was delighted that he gave a reasonable quote compared to other salons I had research, and also with Armandos fast and professional response time. When I came in, it was clear that Armando is a master of his craft, and truly cares about his work. The vibe of this little shop is no frills but clean and comfortable, and easy to relax in. The service itself took nearly 4 hours in total, which I was surprised about mostly because I had never had this treatment before, but this experience was 100% worth it to me. Two days later, my hair is still silky-smooth, like it has never been before. The cut is exactly the same as the picture I had texted to Armando for my desired cut. I felt well-educated in how to care for my hair to make this treatment last with reasonable expectations. Im looking forward to coming back the next time I need to get my hair done!

rowan Ive been here twice and both have been great experiences! A lot of times when I get haircuts I feel that I cant really speak up but here that was never an issue I was even encouraged to give feedback during the process. When I had highlights done I was too nervous to say I was kinda unhappy with there not being a lot on the front, but we called back and got that fixed free of charge! Vee M I had my hair cut by Ann. I felt like she did a rush job on my hair. After she was done blow drying i hair i brought it to her attention that my right side looked longer that the left side. She said it just looked that way because of the way she blow dried it. The drape kept falling off, and hair falling down my back inside of my overalls. I use to do hair for living several years ago, so i can tell the difference between a good and bad hair cut. I went home and cross checked my hair. And the layers in the back are shorter than the other side. I paid $55 for my haircut and I ended up with a rush haircut and uneven. Dont plan on returning. I guess I will go back to Cartels. At least there the hairstylist take their time with cutting your hair.

Danielle Shehadeh Do NOT go to Sun Hee at OC Hair Lounge. She will absolutely destroy your hair!! She has no clue what she is doing. I used to have long hair, and I lost more than HALF my hair and all of the root has BROKE. My previous stylist was 45 min away so I tried somewhere closer and what a MISTAKE. I should sue this lady for the emotional toll. Literally save yourself and run far away from this lady before she trashes your hair too.
