Ale E. Aisha is the only person Ive felt comfortable & safe with my hair for the past like 10 years! I recently went from Blonde (after like 15 years!) back to Brunette & she helped with the transition & Im loving it! :) she added some face-framing highlights & they look great. Ive received compliments on my hair since. Most importantly, she understands I want to improve the overall health of my hair after blonding for so many years & she always works with great products to limit/ avoid damaging my hair & help improve it. Totally recommend her!

Taryn Colao I have gone to HB Collective for the past year for haircuts and highlights/balayage and every time I walk in, I have a great experience. Every stylist is extremely friendly and welcoming. Brenda McCallion It was an appointment unscheduled for a last minute wedding spray tan. Nikki, was so gracious to allow me to come to her home late at night so I could get a spray tan. It was perfect, she made me feel comfortable and my tan turned out perfect! Highly recommend her. She’s professional, polite and happy to help!

Lauren Amber Sevey has been doing my hair since 2013 and her newest space at HB Collective Salon has been one of my favorite spaces she has worked at! The salon feels like a sanctuary where clients can fully decompress while getting their services done. From the warm staff welcome, snack and drink offerings (including a rotating monthly cocktail), aromatherapy towel during hair washing, and the offer for a lap desk which I used to balance my remote work obligations for the day, there isn’t much more you could ask for. Amber’s warm hospitality, attention to detail, and creative eye have kept me loyal to her for over a decade. She specializes in textured cuts that always grow out perfectly and she has made me feel brand new with every service she has done for me. I highly recommend her and the staff at HB Collective’s salon!

Usually when I go to other hair salons they dry and straighten my hair she cut my hair and said next, another lady working there as well was asking her questions and questions she would cut my hair then stop to go answer questions to the lady working there. Another thing I didnt like I was on the phone waiting for my husband to pick me up to pay I had forgotten my debit card anyways while I was on the phone both ladies seemed pretty noisy about what I was talking on the phone even asked oh did you say youre canceling what? I said its nothing to do with this. Overall my experience wasnt that great I personally wouldnt go back. Maybe it was a bad day or who knows but I expected better customer service.

Esther Gal My grandson is autistic and hes been coming for his haircuts since he was 1 and he dont let anyone touch him the owner was very gentle with him hes now 5 and loves getting his haircut he even lets her use the trimmer . I fully recommend Anykris for greatest my daughter had tried a salon before coming to Anykris and my grandson did not let no one cut his hair. Today we took my other one ur old grandson and wow he sat like a pro thank u Anykris

The salon is always clean and fully stocked , the stylist are top notch , friendly and professional . If you are looking for a New Permanent Hair Salon , I can’t recommend Reign Salon Enough. In this picture I went from light light brown with Gold Highlights to Dark brown with Burgundy Wine , she did exactly what I wanted and my hair is so soft. Even with washing the color lasted 7 weeks before I needed a touch up to cover my grey.

Madeline Biedenbender This was my first time getting my hair professionally colored at any studio and I must say I am blown away by how good my stylist did! She did an amazing job and got the exact color I was wanting! I have always been on the fence getting my hair dyed due to my natural hair being copper/blonde, but she did amazing! I will be going back to Jewell to get my roots touched up after 2 1/2 months and will be going back to her for a full color again! I also got a beautiful cut by the wonderful Katie! I was looking for something new after just having my second baby and she nailed what I asked for! It was thin, fine and I thought having hair extensions and the hair of my dreams was just out of the picture. After doing my consultation with Erika, I was so excited. Let me tell you - getting extensions was the best decision I ever made. I read horror stories about hair extensions and your hair falling out. In my case that has not been true. Erika is incredibly talented installing using the NBR method and on top of that, she is sooo talented when it comes to helping you not only decide on your dream hair/color but carrying it out. I initially started bleach blonde and transitioned to red! If you’re scared of the price, I wouldn’t be. Each day we frivolously spend money whether it be Starbucks, door dash, Amazon, clothes etc. I think of my hair as an investment. I reap in confidence each and every day. Ana Walker Conchita is the sweetest person. You will ever meet. She listened to what I wanted and explained her concerns and suggestions. My hair is gorgeous if I may say so. Amber Hines Was able to get a same day appointment for a haircut and they did a great job and at a great price! Grace did my hair and she listened to everything I asked for and she styled my hair beautifully. She made sure not to cut the length too short as I was nervous, and then she recommended to take another inch off AFTER she showed me the full cut and I was appreciative of that as many stylist are quick to chop and you cant put hair back on once its gone!! Grace was on point and my hair looks so great. I will definitely be back in the future!

Rayy Conchita is amazing! Shes been doing my hair for about 10 years now. My sister reccomend her from when she was at Latinos back in the day. She is incredibly gifted. She fixed my horrible box dye I did to myself. I knew better, but I went against my intuition and did the box. After making my huge mistake, I called Conchita, and she got me in as soon as possible. She fixed my hair! I absolutely love coming to her. She is so kind and knows exactly what I want done. I always get compliments on my hair, and I always refer people to her. She does an amazing job. I dont know why some "Karens" want to complain. She has yet to fail me in the 10 years Ive been going to her. Thank you, Conchita and Christy, for fixing me! You ladies are the best!

Bob Katin JUL 2021 Grace is very attentive to detail, trimming my hair and beard. She is on time, and has never called me to reschedule an appointment. At the end of each session, I am able to schedule my next appointment. AUG 2022 I just returned from visiting the facility. My opinion has not changed. Grace is wonderful! She colored my beard. I must have been tired, because I nodded off while the color was setting. Since my head leaned against the apron, some color had inadvertently been removed from my freshly colored beard. Grace re-applied color. Then to ensure I did not leave any color on my pillow at night, she washed my beard twice, to ensure all coloring was washed off. Grace is the BEST!!! AUG 2024 I probably should not share this, but, I must be the luckiest guy. I am the only man in the shop, and all the Hair Stylists are EXTREMELY attractive, including Grace, Conchita, and Sylvia. Not only are they attractive, but they also make me look good. JAN 2025 I typically make appointments with Grace for 10:30am. I had forgotten that my latest appointment was set for 11am. I showed up probably 45 minutes early. Grace managed to take care of me at 10:30am. Grace is the BEST!

Jeanette Duran-Arnn Conchita started off cutting my hair. It looked like it was gonna turn out ok. I asked for a layered bob haircut. Then I don’t know what happened but all of a sudden one side of my hair was longer than the other. I told her about it and she says oh no it looks fine. It’s been horrible. I can’t even go trim my hair to get it fixed because then it’ll be really short. So, I have to live like this for the next several months until my hair grows out. She did not do as I wanted. The reason I went to her is because I read some good reviews. She either didn’t like me or she was having a really bad day.

Nancy Mims I am so disappointed. I met Keeli for a consultation and not good...tacky movie on the tv. I arrived for my appointment and she has her dog. I am not for animals in salons. Dogs are nice, but not when I am having work done. Keeli said she would get me in the next day. After calling 3 times, she tells me she cant get me and offers nothing. My complaint about her dog really upset her...but my hair still was a problem. Keeli didnt care and I was out of luck. Dog was more important than a client. I am sad.

C.Chianne BEST STYLIST IN THE BAY HANDS DOWN! Lala is super professional, efficient and very laid back. I have fine hair and every other braider Ive been to has always braided too tight or damaged my hair. Since going to her i have had no problems with any style i have gotten (no excessive tighteness, bumbs or damaged broken hair). Her oil and treatments have actually helped my hair grow past the legnth it was stuck at and has made my hair healthier overall. I would definitely recommend checking her out if you havent already!

Janel Lubanski Ive been going to Lala for over two years and the service is always AMAZING! She is incredibly skilled and LISTENS to your preferences, likes, dislikes and offers opinions to questions which is super helpful if you are looking to change up your protective style. I started with a combination of singles and feed-ins but now almost exclusively do a mix between medium and large knotless and my hair has never been healthier. Lady Lee Im very upset!!!!! I have been NATURAL for 7 years I went to this salon 3 years ago and I told jessica dont cut my hair in layers & she did. A friend told me to try Carol I love the press but I believe her assistant put some type of perm product in my hair! When I wash my hair it isnt puffy anymore its very stringy & falling out !!! Im so upset they need to do better ! My hair is coming out from the roots ! A good amount of it !

Brianna Ive visited this salon before and gotten beautiful work done by J! The salon is classy and well kept. They have a nice waiting area in the back. I made an appt 3 weeks ago with Carol for a detailed trim and was quoted $35.00. I arrived 15 minutes early per request and was escorted to the waiting area. I was then invited to Tiffanys chair. I was fine with that since it was going to be my first visit with Carol anyway. I thought Tiffany was really sweet. She asked if I minded that shed be helping me instead, and I said no. I told Tiffany what Carols price quote was and asked if her pricing was the same because I didnt want to short change her. She then replied that she charged $50.00 for a detailed trim, and I obliged even though i thought the price I was quoted should be honored. She then asked if I wanted a wash, I asked the price, and she replied $50.00. I asked what the shampoo service included; She said it was a shampoo and conditioning. I decided to treat myself even though I thought the price was steep since I had not gotten a professional cut in over 2 years since the last time I was at this salon. In the end, I asked if she preferred cash or card, and she replied "cash," so I walked to the bank and got $120.00 cash for her with tip included. She then gave me her business card and invited me to visit again. Upon reading her price list, I realized that her price for a detailed trim actually was $35.00 as well, the same as Carol, but she charged me $50.00 and though the shampoo service was listed at $50.00 on her site, it was listed to include a blow dry which was not offered. I paid $120.00 for what should have been a $60.00 service. I feel absolutely violated. My bad for not asking to see a price list ahead of time. I trusted that a well established and family owned business would act with all 12 ethical principles in mind. I am not sure what motivated Tiffany to price gouge me, but integrity for me is everything. Im born and raised in Pittsburg and prioritize supporting local businesses. Especially ones run by women. I would have returned and referred, but the trust was tarnished from jump. Unfortunately, now I cant ever go back.

Brandon Hackett Great people, Good service, Great Haircut. Just moved into the area and was looking for a place that could do both my wifes hair and mine nearby. I called and even though they were already booked up they were able to fit me inbetween appointments because I told them I was unable to come back later. Unexpectedly generous. Helena was super nice and listened to what I wanted without having to repeat it. She gave me an excellent Mens haircut. Their shop was nice and clean. I learned that theyve been in that same location for 25 years so they must be doing something right. I always like to support local small businesses and Ill definitely be supporting this one in the future!

Casual Tryhard Productions Good customer service but I said to cut the sides and leave the top of my head as is. The person who had cut my hair proceeded to cut the top part. I was okay with it until it got too much and too late...and the lady still kept snipping parts of the top. The lady didnt listen. Dont get me wrong, theyre really nice people and customer service is a 9/10 but the haircut I got is really bad to the point I ended up buzzing the whole thing off because it seemed impossible to style it. TL;DR Good customer service, bad haircut.

I am telling my truth of what I experienced which I am free to do whether you agree with it or not. Im sorry not your business partner a worker remodeling your shop. If she has a service dog maybe appointments should be schedule after the work is complete for the day not during. I understand you have many heads you do but if you dont remember something ask. When I left you had done one braid only which looked similar to what you did the last time by the end of the braid only nothing more was seen by me until I came back. I left because I trusted that I would receive the same service as I did the first time since I had paid for and requested the same service. I was unaware that I needed to remind you of the services you offer. Online nothing specified the option to pay at the shop in order to book the appointment a fee is required. If payment is accepted at the shop that should be listed on your website. I was not happy with the service which is why I questioned it but had to return to work and could not discuss in more detail at the time of pick up. So I tried calling 20 min after the appointment to discuss the fact that my daughter cried because she was so unhappy with her hair. No answer by you nor a call back. I appreciate the offer for the $80 refund but the point of the matter is we were unhappy. Thanks for being a woman of your word and I hope nothing but the best for you moving forward. Below is the initial review "Ms. B is sweet as pie but unorganized. She never starts at the time you are booked for. There are so many people coming in and out of the shop. Her business partner has her dogs running around.You must pay for the service of ahead of time which is fine if you receive what you actually paid for. On my last visit the service paid for was not the service received and no refund was given just a sorry. You are unable to see your hair until she is done. I really like the way she braids but unfortunately she has lost a client. If you want to pay top dollar for crappie service go here".

Its a friendly place where everyone makes you feel like you belong. The decor is cool and modern, but its the people there that make the biggest difference. Gino did my haircut and he was great. He really listened to what I wanted and the end result was exactly what I was hoping for. Hes got a good eye for detail and its clear he knows his stuff. I was impressed with the quality of the cut and how Gino managed to get it just right. The whole experience was relaxing and fun, and the time flew by. Im already looking forward to my next visit. For anyone looking for a new barber, Id definitely recommend HIMC Barber Studio and Gino. Theyve got a good thing going on there and I cant wait to go back.
