Evan Mahloch Great place to get your hair done. The ladies are all nice and get your hair done how you want it in a timely manner and for cheap. I go to this place any time I need my hair done and recommend it to anyone else who needs a haircut.

Daniel Martinez I only go in for a taper and wash and Im always satisfied, but its not hard to see and feel the outstanding customer service these women provide. Its always nice to do business with hard working professionals that take pride in their craft .

Allison Jolliff After my stylist of 19 years moved out of state, I was concerned about starting a from-scratch hair relationship with someone new. I was worried for nothing! I have been so happy to sit in Brittanys chair for the last 2 years! She is top notch in education so I absolutely trust her judgement. I love the color of my hair, and I always leave feeling great! Also, I have a ton of hair, so whether it is Brittany or Macie blow-drying, I am so grateful that it is not me! The other stylists in the salon are so friendly and welcome me by name. The salon is clean and beautiful. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Al My partner and I love getting our hair cut here. Everyone is always friendly and welcoming, and they do a wonderful job. If you get nervous about haircuts, I cant recommend this place enough because they make you feel at home!

D George My first review was favorable, only because I was willing to overlook a couple of hiccups. After my second visit, however, Ive decided to keep looking for another stylist. Both of my appointments were booked two weeks in advance. The first appointment was with the owner. When I arrived, she was coloring someone elses hair and seemed to have forgotten all about me, and she got another hairdresser to fill in who happened to be visiting from the Bay Area. When I went to pay, they had failed to inform me that this is a cash only business. No checks, no ATM or credit cards. I didnt have enough cash on me, so I had to run to the ATM to withdraw some money. The stylist charged me $40 for my cut. The second appointment, the same thing... a different stylist, but she seemed surprised that I was there. She was also highlighting another persons hair. This stylist cut my hair dry - didnt wet even spray it with water. No shampoo, and it seemed like a rush job, so she could get back to her coloring. At first, she requested $65, then told me $55 for my cut. Why is one stylist $40 and another one is $55. Both times, I left a small tip. I get home and keep looking at my cut... On the right side of my head, my hair is longer than the left side. I have some hair shears, so I asked my husband to try and even it up. Im torn between complaining to the owner and asking her to fix this, or just canceling my next appointment, which I made prior to leaving, since it takes two weeks to get in. I have half a mind to just not show up since nobody seems to remember I have an appointment anyway. My husband, who loves my hair and is even more particular than I am, said to keep looking for someone else.

Yolanda sandez Teresa is so welcoming and gave me an out of this world haircut! She even gave me tips on how to style it! She’s very down to earth and super sweet, tho whole ambiance of the shop is awesome and you feel instantly welcomed when you come in, great customer service as well!!!! ^_^

Cheyenne Smith Tiffany saved my hair!!! After it being completely fried and 4 different colors from another stylist, Tiffany came in and saved the day! She color corrected my hair for hours and fixed my haircut! I didn’t want to go into public before Tiffany worked her magic! The entire experience was more than pleasant! The salon is amazing and everyone working there is talented and kind!!! I’d recommend to EVERYONE.

Shy Ortiz I had called hours prior to the appointment to see if they cut toddlers hair they said they did and they would message me to make the appointment. They asked if it was a girl or boy and that was it (but when I called I had stated TODDLER) We arrived on time for the appointment and as soon we walked in and saw us they said they didn’t want to cut his hair because he was to “small” and would “move”. It seemed that she was going to do a half ass job but then saw us and didn’t want issues. I don’t recommend coming here with your child or for your child.

T. Tnez I had a great experience at Erin Milan Salon & Spa. My husband and I were staying at the connecting hotel the DoubleTree so it was very convenient. I had a facial which was very relaxing and I thought the cost was fair. Everyone from the front desk to my facial technician was extremely welcoming. When I come into town I will for sure be coming back for another facial. Aveda products is all I ever use on my face. They are the best ✨

Megan O Really, really great salon! I travel for work and often have to just cross my fingers and hope for a good experience haha. Well today I had a GREAT experience! The woman who cut my hair did not give her name, but she was no-nonsense, decisive, and very professional, which was exactly what I needed today. I have a difficult hairline and a lot of cowlicks, but it didn’t phase her one bit, she cleaned up my hair so well and gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve had in all my travels across the US (and I travel a LOT.) If you are in Modesto and looking for a haircut I truly believe you cannot do better than Erin Milan Salon. I walked out feeling refreshed and actually pretty for once :) Very grateful for the beautiful job she did on my hair, and would highly recommend getting your hair cut here!

Tiffany Smith IF YOU WANT QUALITY, SCHEDULE WITH JACQUELINE! I love coming to her! Shes newer to the salon but not new to her trade. I went from a long haired brunette to a A-line blonde (balayage) in just a couple of visits. She made sure my hair maintained its healthy state despite me wanting her to magically make me blonde over night. She does great cuts and guided/educated me in products to use and what to stay away from. Im grateful for her and Streaks is lucky to have her. Linda Vazquez Got a haircut, deep conditioning and style done here by Natalie. She listened to what I wanted and executed it perfectly. Tree I know this is a salon but I have been searching for someone that does really good fades and I have been looking everywhere! Went in and found Grace who does an amazing job! So, for all you men out there that are picky like me when it comes to the perfect fade then you need to go in and see Grace. She is very comfortable with the comb and clippers and will make sure you are happy with your cut! I was and I hope she is around for a long time!

Karen Greig Love My Salon!! Valerie, my manicurist is very professional and and delivers great service. She makes my gel nails look so beautiful. Ime B I had my haircut by Lisa and LOVE it!! I asked for long layers, face frame, and lots of dimension. Before the cut, we talked about my hair and the condition of it. My hair had not been cut in a while so it was heavy with a lot of breakage. She recommended to cut a certain length off to stop the breakage and still keep the length. After cutting it I immediately felt my hair lighter. She is so easy to talk to, a professional, and has an uplifting energy about her. I left the salon feeling like a million bucks! I recommend her a million times!

Sasha A Lopez First time coming into this Salon which was empty. Carmen the owner didn’t even greet me. She just stared at me as I walked into the salon and didn’t even greet me like a professional. She was very rude and had this horrible arrogant attitude. You would think the owner of all people would be friendly but no! She quoted me almost $300 to do my already lightened hair which is absurd for someone who has zero clients. Overall I won’t be returning. Rude, unprofessional, hardly speaks English so you can’t communicate what you want to her, & very strange over all. Please fix your attitude if you want new customers. Not returning or recommending!

Michelle Cole I highly recommend Carmens Beauty Hair Studio. I had made an appointment with another salon, which had confirmed my appointment twice (once when I made the appointment and again the day before my appointment). When I made the appointment I let them know I was going out of town. Well 2 hours before my appointment, the girl called me and said she couldnt do my hair, could we reschedule for the following week. I was in a panic to get my hair done and every other place I called didnt have any appointments until after I got back into town. Thank heavens for Maria...she was able to do my hair that day at it came out fantastic. I will continue going to Carmens to have my hair done. Her shop may not be big and fancy but it is very clean and comfortable.

Maria Gomez I’ve always been so picky with my hair that trusting someone was hard, but Carmen made me feel comfortable that i can trust her with my hair. Brad J It is called VIP now. I made an appointment with Nouny 312-9471 and she gave me a great haircut, shampoo and trimmed my eyebrows. She said she only charges $12 for men and $18 for women. I dont know about the other people working there but Ill be back to see Nouny for sure.

Mary Armstrong First let me say my experience was but I came in on a Tuesday as a walk-in for a trim and a eyebrow and the person was not there to provide. So I think when you say that you accept walk-ins you should have someone available to provide the service but when I did return the next day the person who provided my service was absolutely fantastic. I also would say that their prices are slightly high.

Dina the owner took care of me today I came in really sad because I was rejected by four different hair salon stylist today because of my previous hair color. She took the time to listen to me and even gave me a chance to sample a piece of my hair to see how blonde it would come out. Donna Geary Today was my first appointment with Johnson at Ritz Hair Design. He is fantastic. I needed a cut and style. Showed him a photo from 2 years ago (last time I got my hair done) and he gave me a cut and the style that was exactly what I wanted and needed. He was polite and professional and friendly. I am so happy to have finally found a hairdresser out here that I am happy with. Thank you Johnson.

Kirk Brown Ive been getting my haircut with Johnson for a while now. Hes a great guy who has mastered his trade. The conversations are always enjoyable as well, and they come at no extra charge. Haha. Johnson does his best to always accommodate his clients as well. I recommend making an appointment with Johnson. You will be glad you did.

J A G Johnson is a wonderful hairstylist, he’s been cutting my hair for over 20years. He’s always kind and professional. I have curly hair, he never cuts more than I want cut, I trust him to do exactly what I ask. All the staff at the Ritz are professional and friendly.

Malina Gayton Came in today as a walk in and had the most relaxing and amazing time. She took so much care and effort to make sure i was happy with my hair and it turned out way better than I expected. I will always recommend this salon from now on.

Nicole Hernandez I went to get my hair dyed and cut at Magic Cut by hair stylist Erica on 02/26/2024. Long story short, she left me with the worst dye stains on my forehead (see attached images). I didn’t notice these dye stains at the time because I didn’t have my glasses on/wasn’t in front of a mirror (stylist had me in the shampoo bowl while dye was processing). I was hesitant to complain but eventually got in contact with the salon owner, Dalia Hanna, on 02/28/2024. We spoke over the phone and I explained what had happened. Dalia didn’t take any accountability and basically blamed me for the incident. She asked what would remedy the situation, which was strange to me because I felt as the owner, she should’ve willingly offered me a refund. If I was a salon owner and a client had walked out the way I did, I would’ve been mortified and offered a refund, no questions asked. I explained how badly the dye stained me and how it had irritated my skin (hoping she would willingly offer a refund), but eventually I asked for a refund and she begrudgingly agreed. Over texts, she kept insisting that she sent me the refund through Zelle. I was patient and gave her the benefit of the doubt, even though I saw nothing processed through my account. Eventually, I sent her a screenshot of my Zelle activity page that showed I hadn’t received any payment in the last 30 days. Instantly, she offered me a discount on future services that would amount to what I paid. I told her I wasn’t interested as I’m not comfortable receiving services from this salon after my experience. Her offering a discount and not providing proof that she sent the refund through Zelle (i.e. confirmation email), shows me that she lied about sending me the money/never actually sent the money like she said she did. After I declined the discount, she stopped answering my text messages/left me on read. I don’t like to complain or be unreasonable but I feel like this salon owner really took advantage of the fact that I’m young, thought she could simply say she sent me the money and that I would take her word for it. I’m also concerned with the lack of accountability. The dye had been left on my skin for almost an hour. My skin is “normal” and I never have bad reactions to skin/hair products. Since this incident, my skin is extremely dry and flaky where the dye had been in contact with my skin. I can only imagine the damage that could’ve been done on someone with more sensitive skin than mine.

Ashley church Ive been coming here for 15 years to get my hair trim and my eye brows threaded ! And now I bring my daughter here to get her hair trim! Theyre literally amazing at what they do and very friendly!

Meranda Long I went in with higher expectations since I had been here once before. I came out very disappointed. My hair is extremely uneven the "layers" look like they were made with a hatchet. I didnt realize how bad it was when she was done because she had curled it, but the next day I noticed immediately how terrible it looked.

M Second time for myself and first time for my 4 year old getting a haircut and both times these ladies did an amazing job. They understood exactly what I was asking for, were patient and friendly with my toddler so she felt extremely comfortable. We will definitely keep coming back for our mother daughter haircuts. Josefina flores I got highlights and got streaks, I was not asked or evaluated by the person doing my hair. I am not the expert so I guess I didn’t know what to ask for specifically. I wanted my hair to look like it was at the bottom but now I have 2 colors in my hair. I then messaged the salon to request for it to be fixed and was completely ignored and even trying to book it on instagram where I originally booked there were not available slots. An apology would have sufficed but now I have to resort to this review. I payed $240 for this.

Jacinda Tavares Jackie and her bubbly personality made for a very enjoyable experience!! I went in knowing exactly what I wanted and left with just that! Her deep conditioning treatment mixed with her amazing wash put me in a state of bliss. I will definitely be back to see her and she is my new girl! Im so happy with the finished product!! Irma I had been looking for a place to get my hair done for a while (my hair needed help) when a last minute opening came up with Jacky. I immediately sent her a message and received a response within minutes. I’m so glad she was able to fit me in, she did such an AMAZING job with my hair, I LOVE IT!! Rosa Miranda Literally my favorite place to go!! Not only is the place super cute but all the girls are very professional and very talented! When Im there getting a service done, its my "me time." I usually deal with Vanessa who is the owner and Jackie. Both of them have great attitudes and have great knowledge. The whole team is great. What I love about the team is that they are constantly learning and attend work shops to stay current with all trends. So, be assured when you go, you are in great hands of great talented professionals.
