Lisset Sadian I was disappointed with my experience at this salon and will not be returning. I received a color and style service and walked out with frizzy, poorly managed hair — all for nearly $300. My money piece had multiple areas at the root that were not properly bleached. In Utah, my stylist once noticed a similar mistake and fixed it immediately. I’ve had the same dye job for two years, maintaining it in New York, Texas, and Utah. I’ve never paid more than $140 for a far better outcome. Let it be noted that New York is even more expensive than California. For context, I am white-passing but have mixed-race hair that was originally 3B-3C. I prefer to style it straight, and years of straightening and treatments have stretched my curls. Even so, my hair still requires techniques tailored for textured hair. Unfortunately, that expertise was completely lacking here. The stylist blow-dried my hair with the temperature too low, she worked with large sections of hair which cannot be done with ethnic hair. These are essential steps for straightening textured hair without creating frizz, and skipping them led to a disappointing result. Despite having a keratin treatment just three months ago, I was told the solution to my frizz was to get yet another keratin treatment — a suggestion that felt dismissive rather than thoughtful. It’s also worth mentioning that none of the salon’s photos feature Black clients, which speaks volumes and I should’ve known from the beginning. I paid and tipped because I felt obligated and the stylist was kind, but I cannot recommend this salon for people with hair like mine. I genuinely don’t like writing reviews like this, but I feel compelled to share my experience because the service I received was simply not worth what I paid. I’ll be seeking a stylist who has experience with black and curly hair.

Stephanie Honestly, Vidalia is truly a master at what she does! In short, if you are looking for an honest and knowledgeable color specialist, then set up an appointment with her! She listens to your requests and provides full transparency in the outcome. If she believes there may be some obstacles in getting to your vision, she gives you some alternative options that would maintain the integrity of your hair. Best thing you could do for your colored hair vision is to text her for a free consultation! Ive been getting my hair done by Vidalia since 2019 and I cant see myself going to anyone else. I had super dark brown hair and was dreaming of going into a dark purple. I found her profile on Instagram and instantly knew I could trust her with my hair. Since then, shes taken me from purple to burgundy, then to half pink / half purple, then to purple, then to teal, then to green. Just recently, my impulsive self wanted to stray away from green and go into my soft pink era. I knew this would be mission as the two colors are on opposite ends of the color wheel. Since Ive been going to her salon for a couple of years, I felt comfortable enough asking her if she could help get me there knowing how crazy this request sounded. Vidalias response was fully transparent, and she expressed that this may be a difficult transition as the mint green would be hard to get rid of. What I love is that besides being honest in her work, she also said she would be willing to try as long as I was open to possibly having a different color. I went into this already knowing my request was crazy so I was fully open to leaving with a different color such as purple. I went in for a color consultation so she could do a strand test. Following the test, the mint green was still very visible, so she gave me a breakdown with my two options including the process to get to each result and the cost breakdown. Option 1 was to transition back to a purple and it would take 1 day to complete. Option 2 was for her to attempt to get me to a soft pink as much as possible, BUT it was going to take 2 days to complete. The first day would involve 2 sessions of color remover and the second day would be the bleach and dye process. I went with option 2 knowing the soft pink wasnt guaranteed. Lets just say I am in love with the outcome! I was fully aware there was a high possibility I would not end up with the soft pink I wanted throughout, but Vidalia got me as close as she possibly could while still keeping my hairs health a priority. I KNOW she did her best to get me as close as possible because she was working like a mad scientist (in the best way possible) with all of the concoctions she was creating to try to get rid of the mint green. Ultimately, I love my result and couldnt have been in better hands! Im glad Vidalia has Jesse as her support because they work so effortlessly together and make a great team. Also, they are KILLING IT on social media. Speaking of IG, whether you move forward with booking a consultation with her or not, I still recommend following her! Sometimes she includes some super helpful tips on her posts. Whether you want a vivid color, a color correction, extensions, or even a haircut, you will be in good hands!

Lynnann AKA Grandma Wanted a brand new look and used Yelp to find this salon and Vidalia. WOW! Start to finish: consult, staff, salons esthetic, they still practice Covid sanitation between clients, the incredibly brilliant and mega talented Vidalia, affordable.... It was like winning the lottery! This was a huge change, major commitment; so it was very important it went right the first time! Her confidence and knowledge, in addition to rave reviews and spectacular pictures had sold me. Vidalia and her awesome assistant Dev (!) went above and beyond - they delivered! Although a complete stranger they made me feel like family while they transformed my look. Everything explained along the way and they are a wealth of knowledge! Truly, the entire experience and vibe was top notch. You can have complete confidence that youll receive outstanding advice, skill and absolutely zero regrets. I LOVE my hair and she was able to EXACTLY give me the sensational color mix and cut Id dreamed of! Winning.

Thyme Nord This review is long overdue! I have nothing but positive things to say about this little salon. Vidalia was realistic with me about the time, costs, and maintenance it would take to get the hair I wanted. She was able to lighten my heavy, dark hair tremendously and the grow-out has been just as she described. Her team put a lot of time into my appointment and I felt like I got exactly what I expected- or even better. If you are looking for a dramatic color change done right, check this place out! I went to Cielos Hair Salon in Santa Ana and she toned it and took all the yellow out I made an appointment here at Bellaz and she refused to tone my hair. She was EXTREMELY RUDE. Said that my hair had to much yellow in it and it would wash out quick. I told her I don’t mind I’m going out of town and just want it toned. She refused and Cielos hair salon was able to take me right away. Don’t waste your time coming here with such unprofessional stylists.

Oved Valencia Got a haircut here last week and thought everything went well even after waiting 40 min for a simple haircut. My hair looked fine when it was complete so I didnt ask to get a view from the back side since there was a line and we had all been waiting ro quite a while. However, when I got home, I noticed Elena had cut a whole line of hair which was obviously visible and looked pretty bad. Hair grows and I got over it, however Elenas poor judgement to not inform me or offer the haircut for free for messing it up is quite low and shameful.

Brooke Shackelford I went in for a hair cut. First red flag should been during the hair wash when they tangled the hell out of my fine hair. After talking with the stylists about how dry my hair has been lately, I decided to treat myself to a Brazilian blowout. Worst decision ever. For reference my hair is curly. I SPECIFICALLY asked if it was keep my hair straight and one of the stylists responded with “oh no! a lot of people think that but it will actually help your ringlets with the frizz and tangles.” Fast forward, I leave the salon - hair not really “blown out” just straightened. After a few weeks of washing my hair and my curls being absolutely gone, I called and told the stylists. All they offered was “a wash with a sulfate shampoo” even though I’m already doing that & said my curls would be back in a month. Well it’s been over a month and my curls are completely gone. Needless to say I’m angry. It took me a long time to love my curls and I DO love them. Save yourself the overpriced service and save your hair. GO LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE. After looking more ive seen reviews saying half of them are from their own stylists or friends. Scam artists. Photo is from day of. COLOR WAS NOT DONE BY THEM!!!!! dont want them to have the credit for it

I also called a few days prior and made a resetvation only to arrive and the gentleman says the he has no records of such reservation. Another customer had to translate from English to Spanish. Youre in advantage of course if you speak Spanish as I dont and it seems that the gentleman who did my hair speaks very little English so communicating with him was very hard.

Cmd Z lady came out unprompted while we were smoking at a table next to her shop and began spraying us with RAID BUG SPRAY without words or asking us to leave. she sprayed the can for a cool 30 seconds before we got up and left. i have no review on their "beauty salon" but i can tell you the blonde lady with glasses that works/runs the shop is a RACIST (it was a group of asian + middle eastern individuals), poor at communicating and overall UNPROFESSIONAL as a human first, then a business. she sprayed the raid at us, into our drinks and toward the neighboring coffee shops entrance/customers. i would strongly discourage supporting this business as it is directly funding and supporting a racist agenda + unsafe existing conditions for customers.
