Scott Chou Dr. Hsu performed a TURP procedure for me on 6/13/2023, a month ago. During the operation he found out that I also had bladder stones, he cleaned them up as well. He fixed two problems for me in the same operation. I no longer need to take flomax which caused me blurred vision and I urinate very smoothly now. Dr. Hsu is an excellent doctor.

Theresa DeCarli I did a lot of research prior to my cervical spine surgery in 2015, I was recommended to Dr. Kunwar by my Primary Dr. and I went to schedule an appt that was 2 months out, in the mean time, I met with a few other surgeons and when it came to my appt with Dr. Kunwar, he was the one I felt most confident and comfortable with! He had the best bedside manners, he answered all my questions and concerns, when I asked him if I can have a disk replacement instead of a fusion, he confidently assured me that there should be no problem with the insurance approving it which was a totally different response by other surgeons. Dr. Kunwar was highly recommended to me by my primary Dr as well as others who know him and I understand why it took me so long to get my appointment to see him, it’s because he is the best surgeon! Sprouty Dr Kunwar has been my neurosurgeon for over 20 years; multiple surgeries and complications. There were some scary times. I would not be here today writing this review and having the ability to live alone and care for myself if it were not for Dr Kunwar. But what truly sets Dr Kunwar apart from being an exceptional surgeon, is the fact that he has always treated me as a person and not just a patient. He has always taken my questions and thoughts seriously and never has he talked down or dismissed anything I had to say.

Jimmy Tsao On 4/21/2023 Dr. Achanta has successfully fixed my right & left inguinal hernia problems by the laparoscopic surgery. Today is 9/4/2023. So far so good and I have no issue at all. Wut Wrong I am writing this anonymously to share my familys story. My father had stomach cancer and had surgery to remove part of his stomach. At first, he seemed hopeful, but then the cut kept leaking, which worried us. The doctors at Washington Hospital tried to help, but he didn’t get better, so they sent him to UCSF. Sadly, a month later, he passed away due to an infection. While at Washington Hospital, he also got a bad respiratory virus. I wish things had ended differently, and I hope sharing this helps others understand what happened to us.

james ward I was operated on 6/6/16 for colorectal cancer by Dr Achanta and unfortunately I had another bout and surgery on 11/17/22 but not the same location. Once again Dr. Achanta literally saved my life. 2 Major Surgeries and Im here to talk about it. My blood work has returned better than it has in years and my strength has returned. He is not only a great surgeon but an incredible person. He treats you like family and is very caring and extremely concise with instructions his former PA Nina and his present PA Emily are also wonderful assets. At 77 Ive had over 10 surgeries in my lifetime and I only wish he could have been my surgeon for all of them.

Ashley Betchart Vanessa Wilson herself is a sub par doctor who you could only describe as “old school”. When I had gained weight she said it wasn’t bad but it wouldn’t hurt to “shed a few pounds” (keep in mind by BMI was completely normal and my new physician said I had nothing to worry about) and then went on to speak about herself and her dancing for the rest of the appointment. Nevertheless she is not terrible but her office staff is incompetent, rude, and point blank useless when it comes to getting anything done. Unless you have time to constantly hound them to do their job I suggest you find another doctor as Vanessa is nothing profound herself.

Shachi Chandra Dr. Curran and his team are caring and friendly. Dr. Curran has been my primary care physician from last 4 years. He is very kind, compassionate & caring doctor with excellent bedside manners. He takes necessary time with his patients & reviews every small detail during every visit. Its not easy to get an appointment in the same week but they have an awesome system where you can send a message to your doctor and get a reply on the same day.

Frank Fletcher Dr. Curran is great. He is very straightforward and professional but also keeps a warm and friendly attitude towards his patients. He really makes himself easy to talk with about what most people consider "sensitive" matters. Being able to talk frankly with a medical professional goes a long way towards their being able to diagnose and take care of your problems.

Omema Qureshi - Yaqub I absolutely love Dr. Bala! She’s been my primary doctor for a few years now, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she provides. She’s always thorough with her exams and never rushes through appointments. Even though I’ve had a fatty liver for a while, she never pushed medication on me. Instead, she encouraged me to focus on diet and lifestyle changes, only considering medicine as a last resort. She also asks a lot of questions, really listens to my concerns, and values my input when it comes to my health. On top of that, she’s super organized—I’ve never had to call her office to remind her about referrals or prescriptions. She just stays on top of everything. I highly recommend Dr. Bala. Wailing Apple Core I had high hopes for this office based off of reviews but honestly it’s a waste of time going here. My first appointment, I had arrived early as requested but wasn’t seen until almost an hour after my appointment time with no explanation. Upon entering the office, there were no workers behind the counter. When one finally did show up I kept trying to get her attention so I could check in for my appointment but she kept her back to me and told me to sit down. No explanation as a first time patient. Apparently at the counter they have a sign in paper- no one told me that. Inside is outdated. I’ve seen a mother desperately try to get help from the ladies at the counter for her sick child by scheduling a doctors appointment but they were very dismissive and basically ignored her too. Trying to schedule an appointment is a joke. They either never answer or there voicemail box is full so you can’t even leave a message. The times I was able to leave a message, I never got a call back. They also send out appointment text reminders that end with “if you have any questions or would like to reschedule, respond to this message” but they never respond to your messages if you have questions. I tried getting treatment for my depression, anxiety, and very painful periods. With the depression and anxiety- my doctor just kept upping the dose even though the medication was not working and I told him that. He said he’d put in a referral with their psychiatrist who would call me..never got the call. When I saw the OBGYN for my painful periods, she dismissed it by saying “Everyone has painful periods, have a baby and it will get better”. Such great medical advice, was she gonna help support the baby though? I never got my results from the OBGYN visit either. Today was the final straw…I had a telehealth appointment scheduled and never received a call from my doctor. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON A CLINIC THAT DOES NOT ACTUALLY CARE.

Fe Williams Dont let the humble building fool you. 5 star care inside. My 1st time going here and under less than idea circumstances being that I just got out of emergency hospital. The service from the nurses and from the doctor is beyond reproach. The care, professionalism, customer service, knowledge, and comforting Services received here is definitely 10 Stars. Dr Bhandari made me feel comfort, confidence and hope. That together with his expertise , positive energy ( definitely glass is half full person) and my commitment to self that there is nothing we cant find a way through. Prior to her becoming my primary care physician, I hadn’t gone to the doctor in like 10 years (just didn’t like going to the doctor in general and am generally healthy). I figured it was time to get to a primary care physician and she has been wonderful! She’s patient, warm, takes time to explain things. Great bedside manner. She and her team are super responsive with prescription refills, blood work results, etc. Great experience overall!

Karman Wong I recently visited Dr. Yamini Madhavan, MD for my physical annual check-up, as my regular doctor was unavailable until March. The appointment was relatively straightforward, but it was a bit different from what I have experienced in the past with other doctors at PAMF. Dr. Madhavan greeted me and conducted a quick breast exam, which included a reminder to schedule a mammogram. She also asked if I was okay with ordering two basic blood tests, which I agreed to. However, I felt that my experience lacked a bit of the comprehensive approach I’m used to in an annual check-up. In my previous visits, my doctors have always checked various areas like eyes, ears, nose, throat, and abdomen, asked about my lifestyle habits (such as exercise), and discussed any concerns I might have had. They also took the time to review my medical history before ordering tests, ensuring that the tests were appropriate. With Dr. Madhavan, I didnt feel like there was much of a discussion about my overall health, lifestyle, or any potential concerns I may have had. While I appreciate her efficiency and the care she provided, I felt that the appointment could have been a bit more thorough, especially in terms of reviewing my health history and engaging in more dialogue about my wellness. That said, Dr. Madhavan did answer my question, and I do believe she is competent in her role. I just think there’s room for improvement in how the check-up process is handled.

Diabetes management has been the greatest challenge for my father as I’m sure is the case for many patients. Dr. Katta worked w/us closely to modify insulin dosages to improve A1C. He refers to objective trends, showing patterns over time from glucose monitors and/or CGM, clearly showing times in the day or more specifically meals that correlate to hyperglycemia. Diet for my father continues to be the root of the problem in addition to my father’s stubbornness. Dr. Katta has gone above and beyond to listen to my frustrations as a caregiver, but also celebrate to small wins. He’s referred my father to all the appropriate specialists that my father has needed more as he aged. To state that I am truly grateful to Dr. Katta for continuing to work w/my father over decades is an understatement! Dr. Katta has shown extreme patience as my father has been a barrier to his own well-being as he tries to maintain his independence. With Dr. Katta’s help, my father has improved his health perspective and invested in working toward better chronic disease management. Shonta I had a total knee replacement back in March with Dr. Sah. I used to work for Dr. Dearborn and Dr. Sah for years as their surgical coordinator, and with the staff here. There is no better place for joint replacement. You have a large bright private room with a large bathroom with shower. You have a staff who works only with joint replacement patients. You are in a separate building from the hospital so you are with healthy people. Its like a spa in here! And did I say the staff are the kindest most caring people?? People travel from all over the nation for a reason. I loved working with them and now really appreciate the highest level of care they provide for each patient.

Ramona Lione Dr. Sah is an incredibly skilled surgeon with a great "bedside manner". He and the staff at the Center for Joint Replacement have a protocol that helps patients through the whole process. I cant recommend them highly enough. Dr. Sah is simply the best there is.

Scott Pactor Ive now helped a relative through two hip replacements here, first in 2019, second in 2022. Its a very popular, high volume practice. Im a lawyer and I spend most of my day in Court, and to me hospitals have a similar vibe: people arent usually stoked to be there, the stakes are high and the staff are doing their best to make everyone happy under difficult circumstances. So Ive spent about 40/50 hours here all told, Ive never seen anything untoward and all my interactions with staff were professional. They treated my relative well even though she can be a difficult patient. I would recommend this place for someone getting a hip or knee replacement.
