H Walker Dr Bogey is hands down the best doctor I have ever been seen by. I have to go to the ER quite a bit, and he’s been 200% on top of everything every time. * I have been there once when he wasn’t on shift, and it was a completely different experience. It wasn’t bad, but the bedside manner was nonexistent and it really matters. If you’re having the worst day and the worst pain of your life, he’s the man you want to see. His bedside manner is that of an angel and he is always funny and professional. I wish every ER had a Dr Bogey so everyone can experience his stellar level of care.

Regina A. I was a patient of Dr. Bogeys once. He did treat me well (kind of greeted me enthusiastically, which was interesting, in an ER setting), but appropriately changed his demeanor when he saw I was really not in the mood. He was wearing all black scrubs which was an interesting choice. Under his care I received the appropriate medical treatment. Im only knocking off a star because in the discharge summary he (or someone else, I have no idea) put one of the "diagnoses" as psychosis, which was extremely incorrect, possibly due to systemic misogyny, given how medicine can be. Oh you know how it is. Also some stuff about "failure to thrive." His team was somewhat hilariously uncoordinated/not on the same page in terms of communication. Im not taking off two stars, because its not easy managing an entire ER department for a whole locale, especially for as long as he has. But what value does it give to tell a patient that comes to you in an emergency situation that they are not thriving? Hm...True to what other reviewers have said, he REALLY likes the gallbladder -- I heard him talking about imaging another patients gallbladder when I was there, or something like that, so just know that might be his style. I dont know if its changed by now. Who knows; quien sabe. Anyway, thanks, Doc! Youre a real one.

Robin Miles I have had 4 er visits just this year and fortunately Dr Bogey was on duty each time. He knows his stuff for sure. I, as many others where I live, wish he was available as a primary care doctor but those are just wishes. I worry so much about the status of Hazel Hawkins but most of all I hope we dont lose Dr Bogey!

Alejandra Resendiz My cat got into a fight and developed an abscess on her back. We had scheduled an appointment for next week but this morning we saw it had burst, drained, and was an open abscess. My brother called them and immediately got in. The vet, who I am drawing a blank on the name right now, was AMAZING! She was so kind, caring, explained everything thoroughly, and took such good care of my baby. She now has a drain and stitches but I am eternally grateful for having them see my girl so fast and treat her immediately. She is now at home recovering and looking better already! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

donna mayle Well organized, well run. Friendly staff. Separate waiting rooms for dogs and cats. It isnt easy to notice from traffic and Google maps sends you into the housing area near the clinic. The entrance is on Monterey. Disregard what Maps tells you. The prices are extremely reasonable and this is one of the very few clinics that will work you in for an urgent appointment. They actually do care. The vets are very knowledgeable and give you several options whenever possible. This is much appreciated as we cant all afford the priciest option. My dog has seen several different vets there and I felt they were all interested in her and cared about her issues. They were all quite kind and gentle. The staff was also kind. They filled the prescriptions right there and the price was reasonable.

Rebecca Hong Update: 01/19/2025 I’ve always had great experiences at San Benito Veterinary Center, and this update reflects just how much I appreciate their care and compassion! A few months ago, I requested a spay and rear dew claw removal quote for my Aiko. After saving up, I came back to request the spay quote again but the price had increased by a couple of hundred dollars. While this was disappointing, the team kindly provided recommendations for low-cost alternatives nearby. I ultimately went with one of those options for the spay alone. During Aiko’s spay recovery, I noticed swelling around her incision on day 12 and called San Benito Veterinary Center. They immediately made room for us the same day, showing their dedication to Aiko’s well-being. The team was incredibly attentive and helped us get her back on track. She’s now healing quickly, and I’m so grateful for their support during a stressful time. San Benito Veterinary Center continues to be a fantastic resource, and I can’t recommend them enough for their kindness and care! Initial visit: 05/2024 I had such a pleasant experience at San Benito Veterinary Center today with my Australian Shepherd, Aiko. From start to finish, the entire team was incredibly kind, understanding, and empathetic, making a typically stressful visit smooth and comfortable for both Aiko and me. Aiko is a fearful, reactive dog, but Dr. Arthur Sanders and the lovely technician, whose name I forgot to grab, were amazing with her. They allowed us to wait in the car after checking in, which helped keep Aiko calm. When they were ready, they came out to retrieve us, showing a great understanding of her needs. Dr. Sanders was exceptionally patient and understanding of Aikos reactions. He allowed her to approach him first, ensuring she felt safe before continuing with the exam. This level of empathy and patience made a huge difference. Mikaeyla at the reception was also fantastic, ensuring a smooth check-in process and being attentive to our needs! I highly recommend San Benito Veterinary Center for their exceptional care and understanding, especially for pets with special behavioral needs. We look forward to our future visits, knowing Aiko is in such caring and capable hands. Thank you, Dr. Sanders and the entire team, for your outstanding service!

Her and I have a very special doctor relationship shes always trying to find out some of the underlying health issues that I have and to figure out whats causing them. If Dr Denise was to ever leave the practice I cant see myself seeing anybody else I trust her with my life.

S B Completely flaked on a scheduled appt, had to reschedule. Never called back after a phone appt when he told me he would. Office does not answer the phone half the time. Does not treat patients properly in terms of medicine. Worst doctor Ive ever had. Now changed to a new MD.

Zulma Martinez 1) Love this places. I would definitely recommend this clinic to others. Love how Dr.Lamberton is an attentive listener and knows how to explain himself. He has been such a great help in my health lifestyle. Not only that but his past experiences as an ED doctor makes him great because whenever i have doubts, he’s there to listen. 2) Another great provider here is Denise. I love how she taught me about different exercises that i can do to better my back. W/o that i might have ended up needing surgery. Denise is also an knows how to listen to my needs. W/o her i would have never known about my health issues. She really knows how to treat patients. 3) Cant forget about the staff. The MA girls do an excellent job. They are really attentive of there patients and know how to communicate with them. Shout out to Nicole and Yesenia for being excellent workers. Keep up the good work.

Lamberton Gaskill Noelle (Lambnoe) Dr Lamberton is skilled in ER and Primary Care. I think hes the best doc around his father was also my Dr when I was young. Dr. Lamberton listens, cares about patients and has some serious suturing skills. 30 years in the ER…well it shows hes excellent. And I love it that hes a family guy too. Also, office staff rocks, so friendly and skilled.

SO They are pleasant and friendly but slow. Expect to wait. I was one of two patients there and it took almost an hour.

I feel very comfortable regarding his diagnosis and treatment plans. He gave me no vague or weird answers. The office and examining room were clean and well maintained, and also had thick walls for privacy. His other patients in the waiting room came out and looked very happy and satisfied. He may be actually saving my life!

The neurologist can’t even return a simple phone call. So worth it to go out of town for care.

Maria Madrigal HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE. I now understand why no one wants to buy this hospital. I went to the emergency room in pain and left with even more pain and a doctor shrugging. I kid you not, he shrugged at me to tell me he did not know what was wrong. I would bring an advocate if you need to come to this hospital. You will need one. The bedside manners need to be addressed. As for Hazel Hawkins Hospital, I would ask Good Samaritan Hospital for their playbook; you all obviously need it.

Vanessa Lockard ER visit: I took my 16 year old son to the ER after he fell in school and had horrible knee pain. He couldn’t walk on the leg it hurt so bad. The waiting room was full so I was afraid he was in for a long wait. We checked in at the window. It took about 30 minutes for us to have a nurse (Shelby) ask questions, check his blood pressure and have the doctors assistant (Abby) order some tests. He was given pain medicine before leaving the first area. The nurse was very apologetic and let us know we would most likely be there a few hours and most of it in the waiting room. There wasn’t a room my son could go in. We even saw and heard the helicopter come and go two times while we were there! It was so busy! He was in a wheelchair in the waiting room waiting for the X-ray test. It didn’t take very long to have it completed. Once the medicine kicked in he was much more comfortable. They also had an ice pack on his knee to help. We did wait. It turned out he broke a little piece of bone off of his knee and there were pieces floating around in the cartilage. He was given a knee brace to wear and crutches, a couple of days worth of pain medicine and told he needed to follow up with a specialist since it could require surgery. (It was not life or death so it was standard that if he needed surgery it would be done a different day.) He was sent home about 4 1/2 hours after arriving. We ended up going to Lucile Packard Children’s hospital for follow up due to my son’s unrelated medical condition. 1) The Hazel Hawkins ER visit was quicker to get him into tests and medicated than Stanford ER. 2) The orthopedic specialist at Stanford was impressed that he had a CD with the X-ray and MRI photos, from Hazel Hawkins ER trip. It saved him several days of waiting to understand what was happening. Thank you to Dr Bogey, Shelby RN, Abby PA, Mylene RN, Maya RN, and Katie tech for taking such great care of my son! I realized that it was a good thing that my son was well enough to wait. I explained to him that the people that can’t wait are having true serious emergencies or could even be life or death.

Michael Schurig My wife and I had our Colonoscopies together at Hazel Hawkins and it went fantastic, if a colonoscopy can be fantastic. The staff, nurses, anesthesiologist and doctor were incredible. They explained everything as we went through it all and performed it all professionally and great.

Peter (Dexter) Absolutely horrendous Hospital. I was having an excruciating migraine in the front and back of my head. Had to sit in the lobby for well over 30 minutes just to sign papers so I can get called in. Once I was called in I was met with young and sassy PA’s who were giving such attitude. I got defensive and was giving attitude back. Absolutely unacceptable behavior from “Professionals”. Take these peoples licenses away. Stay away from this place.

Regina Ahn Such an odd experience at this hospital as a patient, I can see why the reviews are polarized between 1 and 5 stars averaging out to about a 3 -- I can say that the first half of my visit through the ED was amazing - professional, courteous, experienced, truly life-saving, and then the last hour was terrible -- the last 3 providers I interacted with were borderline abusive/rude, verbally aggressive/sassy-- ironically one of them was the social worker assigned to my case. Unfortunately, thats not the first time Ive seen psych/social workers act that way. I sent in patient feedback because that really is not the way to treat people. I hope someone listened. Like, cmon, you can do better than that! Im not someone who condones/normalizes abuse/toxic cultures even if it is a "community" hospital and people say "Its okay, thats just the way things are done here" -- Its not okay!!!! Wake up!!!! Stop enabling abuse! Ive literally given and seen better quality compassionate care at what was technically "3rd-world countries" as a volunteer. You can see online on Glassdoor reviews from former nurse managers who know what theyre doing who have complained for good reasons. You can also look at patient reviews at MGH, supposedly a "prestigious institution" -- There are reasons why people complain. Im giving a 1 star because if I had a child and I actually loved them, I would sure as hell not bring them here. If I absolutely HAD to, I would go with and supervise. Healthcare can be a revolving door and providers can get extremely jaded and it can get toxic. I hope by being a squeaky wheel this review will help people address some serious underlying cultural issues here. That end-of-the-visit bullshit was not okay.

AndreaMichelle Ortiz Absolutely the most unprofessional doctor Ive EVER experienced. Literally left her office 3 times in tears. Was EXTREMELY rude to myself and family. Ive been receiving bills for days I didnt have an appointment or days I called in for questions about my meds. Im having severe asthma but I no longer have my insurance. I called for 2 days to have her refill my inhaler PLEASE. Dr Friedman called me back in the most snotty tone to say "Sorry I dont work for people who owe me money"

Ashley Mueller The most horrific experience I’ve had with a doctor to date. Dr. Marni Friedman is a woman who seriously lacks compassion and empathy. Several times I have left in tears due to her feeling the need to berate me on the state of my life. I have put up with Friedman’s crude remarks for months, and todays appointment was the straw that broke the camels back. I had just gotten out of the hospital for a stroke, and the way Friedman spoke to me in front of her med student was COMPLETELY unacceptable.

Bernardo Sanchez I felt very discriminated. I thought I had done my research for this privet practice, but I guess not well enough.

Chocolate You can’t opt out the “recommended vaccines,” even though the shots are not mandatory per California health department. You must follow their vaccine schedules, and many shots are not required for attending public schools. They refused to see my son anymore as we said we’ll only do the mandatory ones. That’s all right. Our new pediatrician is more attentive and thoughtful.

H Walker Went to the ER on Christmas, they found HUGE cysts on my ovary. Makes sense since I’m in pain all of the time. Got the soonest appointment as this was the place I was set up with to get an appointment, thought I was in good hands….and I wasn’t. I was first seen by Dr Cooper, who told me she’d order (VERY IMPORTANT) labs, and didn’t. Had to go back to see the physicians assistant, who was AWESOME. If I left a review of my encounter with her, this would be a different review. She got me set up with Dr Armstrong, got the labs ordered on the spot. Started over with Dr Armstrong 6 weeks after going to the ER. 6 weeks. Had a surgery scheduled but got an infection, and my surgery was cancelled even though I had already started the antibiotics. I didn’t get a say in this at all. I tried calling the clinic and his private practice to let him know the infection was clearing, but there’s no way to get messages to him when he’s not in the clinic. This is a nightmare. Was supposed to have surgery a few days after the original, and although I had a sheet for the surgery center for that date, it’s not happening. Apparently it doesn’t “work for everyone’s schedules”. The surgery center told me to my face that they had time that day. It’s Armstrong. I voiced my upset but felt push back. He seemed very annoyed. I told him I’d arranged for care and he said “Well you shouldn’t have”. Well, try living with huge masses that you can always feel, that hurt, that stop you from working full time and make it so you can’t afford to eat. I am unable to have a physical relationship. Two months since I was seen at the ER. Was told mid-March for surgery and I said no. This is affecting my entire life and well-being. I’m fed up. Absolutely feel left high and dry while under “care”. It’s stressful enough going through the pain without being dragged around by a clinic. I never thought I’d say this, but I really miss Kaiser.

C I would not recommend this office or Dr Tolentino if were the last Dr on earth. I gave them one star only because I can’t leave zero stars. Their office staff Rosie S. is the rudest person I’ve ever spoken to in the medical field in my 66 years. She should not be allowed to answer the phone at all! They have no compassion whatsoever for their patients, what the patient or the patient’s family is going through. Do yourself a favor do not, under any circumstances consider this physician and certainly not the office staff for your medical needs.

zeke Lopez jr This Dr office is horrible. The receptionist is very rude and unprofessional. We call to ask for an appointment because our child is feeling sick and she tells us that we can’t be seen until next week. This has happened numerous of times and is very frustrating. When we do get an appointment it is over the phone and we can barely hear and understand her. There has been many times where we feel our son needs to be seen in person and she just tells us “take him to the emergency room”. We have spent a lot of money taking her advice and taking our child to the emergency where they check his vitals and prescribe him medicine which we think can be taken care of by Dr Tolentino instead of going to the emergency room. We have just switched primary care physicians and will not refer this Dr office to anyone.

Anh Maris Dr Arminda Tolentino is a very caring, loving family physician! She will spent as much time as necessary to diagnosed my problem & as to why I had to go to see her in order to make me well again! I feel good having her as my doctor. Have been going to Dr Arminda for years now & I will not be changing doctor anytime soon.

Roger Cullumber Dr Kheraj is good... as long as you are not sick. My kid had an intense ear ache and the office said they couldnt see the child because the kid had symptoms of an ear ache. Yes! That is right! Because the kid had symptoms of an ear ache, the child could not go to the doctors office. The office offered to set up a phone call 6 hours later for a non-refundable $80 charge. What are they going to do? Ask the kid if their ear hurts, then tell me the child has an ear ache, and encourage me to take them to another doctor that will see them in person. Insanity! Time for a new doctor.

john wyatt This is JoAnn Banner, I have been a patient of Dr. Kheraj for eight years and today was the last straw. I finally found a new doctor that Medicare will pay for. Dr Kheraj could care less about what I’m going through and never addresses my problems. I visited her office for an appointment on Friday 1/15/24 and told her about my excruciating hip pain she was to send me for labs and x-rays to the local hospital on Monday1/18/24 when I got to the hospital they did a CT scan on my head no hip x-rays I called her when I left the hospital to say what happened to my x-rays I’m in excruciating pain she said oh don’t worry we will fax the order for x-rays to the hospital I got there this morning at 9 AM wanting to get the x-rays done waited two hours because the paperwork wasn’t there they had to call the doctor finally the paperwork got there when they finally called me(2hours) and they were doing a lower back x-ray not my hip x-ray they called the doctor and told me to go home and wait for her to call back when she called Me she wanted me to come in again. No thank you! How are you practicing? Zero sympathy and empathy!

Michaela Baker It has always a hassle to make an appointment. Dr kheraj one time even sent over the wrong medication to be refilled. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.
