Michele Renee A fantastic place. Staff was extremely helpful said hi and smiled which I like. Jessica was the nurse who took ne back. She was sweet, happy, friendly and professional raise for her $$$ lol. Dr. Pierson very kind. I waited maybe 3 minutes, did a nerve test was friendly even apologized for any discomfort. Been in hospitals and Dr offices on and off since I was 6 months old thanks to birth defect. I have been to horrible places this wasnt one. Was a pleasure to go there. I used to have no choice. Be grateful if you are fortunate to be able to go to a good place its sad and unfortunate that the exact opposite can be the case. Have a great day and be in good health.

Mark Fowler I had a follow-up appointment with Dr West after establishing primary care a few months back. I was impressed how well Dr West remembered me from my prior visit. He was very personable and took time to review my medical chart and listen to my questions and concerns. He was thoughtful and considerate in his medical analysis and recommendations demonstrating a wide working knowledge of medicine and patient care. Note: I appreciate that during my initial appointment to establish care Dr West put the time in to perform a meaningful and appropriately directed physical examination. From my experience too many providers haze over this meaningful practice. Im no expert but Im pretty sure you cant appropriately assess for heart arrhythmias, heart valve pathologies, or an enlarged heart from a 10-second exam.

Paris Elyse I took two of my kids in to see Dr. West due to sickness. We tend to bounce around from Dr to Dr for whoever is available. Well not anymore! He made great recommendations and was so playful and fun with my children when they weren’t feeling well. He went outside of the box to recommend peppermint tea with honey for their throat and a steam bath at night, instead of just the usual medication‘s. We highly recommend him!

Rheena Ulilang Dr Walia did a great job putting my Mom at ease. She was not agreeable, initially, to have a colonoscopy, even with my advice and encouragement. Dr. Walia was very kind and informative. He assured her that it was important as a preventative measure, and she was then very agreeable to proceed with it.

She always makes me feel comfortable with her and I know she has my best interest at heart. She takes time for me and this is rare in an age where most doctors seem so rushed. She is a unique and very special person.

Ed Jue Outstanding physician... Very professional, thorough analysis and has great communication skills. Lucky to be one of her patients. Our family has Dr. Castel as our primary doctor. She listens to her patients and attempts to answer our questions. We do not feel like we are being rushed while visiting with her. She seems to be very well equipped to diagnose our medical problems, and to offer solutions.

Terry Bibbens Dr. Castel is always very interested in her patients. She takes the time to review all Patient questions and provides clear answers. She is excellent for geriatric patients and anticipates issues that may come up in the future. I am very happy with her care. Im 85 years old.

un1xg33k Dr Tuai did a phenomenal job on my bilateral inguinal hernia repair. Their office seems busy but they are on top of things. They kept me informed through the whole process, kept me at ease and were super helpful. I was up and walking around without pain meds the next day, back to hiking within 6 weeks and back to deadlifting in 2 months. Its about 6 months later now and Im super happy I had it done and that Dr Tuai was the one that did it.

Pamela Coleman My abdominal surgery was very scary I had an obstruction and needed surgery. Doctor Eisner is a perfectionist and I felt like he was definitely going to get me back better than before… He did a wonderful procedure and saved my life. I am living Washington right now and wish that I were able to see him because I am not going well. So if you need a good doctor for surgery I definitely recommend him.

Jerry Bessa I want to share my experience with Dr. Eisner. I visited him for a groin hernia that suddenly appeared. I have to say that I was thoroughly advised in advance regarding the best approach for the surgery and why. The service I received at the hospital, and more importantly the surgery he performed was excellent!! Im 6 weeks+ now through recovery and can barely see the incision which was about 4" in size originally. I would recommend Dr. Eisner to anyone who has a hernia experience as his professionalism was top draw!!

TJ O Sherman is one of the best family doctors I’ve ever had. He is incredibly compassionate and listens. He has a capacity to bring lots of information together and help you find the best course of treatment. It’s not a big office or a fancy place, but that’s where you can’t judge a book by its cover. He has a great office staff and their genuine care and concern for your well-being is felt. I first met him through my mom when we moved here for what we thought was a short time to take care of her. After we decided to move here long-term and get insurance for this state, he wasn’t under my plan. I decided to stay with him and pay separate because I trust him more than any other doctor, and I have seen a lot of doctors. He absolutely goes above and beyond for his patients. He has truly made my life better.

Daniel Dr. Sherman is a great doctor who takes good consideration for his patients but good god reception can’t pickup the phone to save a life (no pun intended). Two days of calling to get a follow up after an urgent care visit due to a lung infection and all they do is let the phone ring out. No professionalism from reception to even pickup and say their busy or some kind of excuse.

B Young I moved to Ventura county so I could get better medical care. My first primary care physician I found was Dr Sherman Adam. I could not be more happy. His staff is excellent. Very helpful and knowledgeable. We discussed my medications I was taking and made a couple of changes. I have not felt this good in years. Dr Adams has set me up with specialists that have also done a great job. Could not be more happy.

NinjaBard Pheonix Staff are helpful and easygoing. Dr. Sherman is a compassionate and thoughtful Doctor. Asking questions, accurate self reporting, and willing to discuss/debate your healthcare with Dr. Sherman will help you the most. When trying a new regimen, remember to journal or keep notes about any changes, so the both of you can be more accurately informed if any changes are needed. Dr. Sherman is easygoing, understanding, very patient, so if you have anxiety, or any type of social phobias, you will warm up to him and his staff fairly quickly. The staff and doctor will work at your pace, until you are so comfortable with them that your joking around with them, or sharing something with the doctor you would normally not share, but because of the trust that you both put on each other, you do. Oh, and if your looking for a script doctor/doctor that hands out pills like candy, this isnt the place for that. Ive seen patients that want w/e pill get frustrated fairly quick when the doctor wants to try other methods of pain management, before moving on to prescribed medications.

C F Doctor Sherman is one of the most caring and compassionate doctors I have ever met. I say this both as a patient and in general, working in the healthcare field and for one of the most prestigious hospitals on the west coast I can say you wont find a better one out there. I would go out of network and gladly drive the distance from UCLA when I was seeing him years ago for this reason. Anyone who says differently is just upset they didnt get exactly what they wanted or is just completely lying and have never actually been a patient in the first place. So you cant believe everything you read on google or some reviews. I can assure you claims of negative experiences or accusations are made by people who are not current or past actual patients and have a hidden agenda of some sort.Thank you for your care in the past and I hope to get an appointment very soon to see you again. Also his staff are great at what they do too.

Mayra Orozco What a waste of time, if I wasn’t feeling pain, I wouldn’t have gone to your facilities, however, the gynecologist on duty didn’t even checked me, he said everything was normal, he asked me “do you have insurance” to what I responded “yes, I do”, and he was like oh but still I don’t see a point of doing an ultrasound because I won’t find anything. He’s the Dr, he should do his job, not just seat and ask questions. I’m not a Dr but the pain I have can even be related to cysts, but we wouldn’t know if no ultrasound or further testings are done. How disappointing. I will go to urgent care better. This review is strictly for the gynecologist.

Bob Campbell Dr. Odeh did a triple bypass surgery on my on Tuesday March 23d. At my pre-op appointment Dr. Odeh took the time to explain exactly what was going to take place. On the day of my surgery he again reassured me of what we had discussed before the surgery began. Surgery was completed without any complications. During recovery Dr Odeh was there to check on me every morning and at least one other time. I highly recommend Dr Odeh without reservation. He’s a great surgeon.

RJ Moxx Since this was my initial consultation with Dr. McPherson, I have only that to go on. However, I was pleasantly surprised by his "bedside manner" and his stated strategy for determining the best course of action. Still awaiting approval for his course of action.

My daughter had an appointment in January, waited for them to confirm only to find out the appointment was canceled by them, no warning of the cancellation no call nothing. Maria Zacarias My husband and I took our 1 year old to see one of the neurologist to get an evaluation done, and our experience was horrible. The male neurologist was not a kind and gentle doctor, he was rough with our daughter when picking her up, and evaluating her movements. The whole visit she was crying and screaming and he continued with his exam, didnt try to chance his demeanor. He even went on to telling her "Oh stop it!" When we spoke to her primary doctor, she mentioned that she has heard similar stories about him. I wish I could give no starts. Unfortunately I do not recall his name, but he was an older male doctor. I understand he is a really good doctor in his field there but they should teach them compassion and how to properly treat and care for young patients. Horrible Neurology Doctor

Michelle Smith Had great experiences with both Dr. Lee and Dr. Hemmer. Both had a wealth of knowledge and helped answer lots of questions. The nurses were all very sweet, kind and helpful as well. Sometimes the wait is long which is hard with kids but totally worth the amazing doctors and staff youll be with. Once youre in with the doctor they take their time and are attentive to you and your child/children.

Jenny Quezada Every time I visit the staff is never attentive and it’s always a 45 min wait in the waiting room another 45 minutes in the actual consult room and then a 2 sec chat with the doctor, The front staff girls especially the younger ones are improperly trained in office etiquette. 0/10would not recommend. The one in La Colonia was 100% better (also notice majority of the good reviews are people who are related to the dr)

I can’t recommend her enough!

Nadia Schlosser First off, the staff is super friendly, including the doctor. I had a grand mal seizure Nov. 2024 and it was so hard to get an appointment with a neurologist until I was referred to Dr. Heidari. She was able to get me in super fast which was so comforting because I was really scared after having a seizure like that for the first time. Other places didnt even have appointment openings until the following year - June 2025. I also lost my driving privileges because of the seizure. CA law requires at least 3 months of no seizures and management by a neurologist before even considering reinstating a drivers license. So its been a rough time. Sure you can imagine. Dr. Heidari has been really thorough in listening to all my symptoms and ordering imaging, labs, EEGs and trying new medications to help with my seizure prevention and migraines. She also implements use of natural vitamins, which I like. Its really refreshing to have a doctor that listens and is willing to try so many types of exams and interventions. Its February now, and I havent had another seizure. She has gotten me in for two EEGs in the office, out of office Brain MRI, neck MRI, labwork and is open to adjusting my medications based off my symptoms. I am really looking forward to receiving the botox injections (neck, jaw, temples, etc) she provides as Ive heard they can be really beneficial to preventing Migraines, neck pain and addressing TMJ which I have had for over 25 years. She seems to always have a recommendation for the ailment I am coming in to see her for. I am so grateful to her and the staff. 5 stars. I also enjoy seeing how they work as a team and dress up for the holidays. A lot of her patients seem very pleased with her treatment when they come in and leave the office. I work as an RN at a busy hospital, so I watch for these things. They are a great team! I am so grateful that I was referred to her.

Angel Morales I have been receiving care from Dr. Heidari for several years. She has improved my quality of life and I’m so grateful for her and her practice. Her medical office is clean, conveniently located, and very professional. Isabel is the most organized and helpful assistant. Jen Scott I had my first appointment at Clinicas with Christina Pech and I could not have been happier with the care I received. I’ve been experiencing some scary medical issues that I have been desperately trying to figure out. I’ve been to one urgent care and 4 hospitals in the last week and have been turned away with no answers. She was very thorough as she ran several test and is referring me out to specialist while making sure they run additional tests to figure out what is going on with me. I am extremely hopeful that this will bring about answers.

Paola Chavez I’m deeply disappointed with both the company and Dr. Christina Pech. Clinicas’s mission needs serious reevaluation because it’s clear they are not providing quality care for the underserved population of Ventura County. A major issue across all Clinicas clinics is the constant turnover of doctors, leaving patients frustrated, and forced to start over with their health journeys. On top of that, scheduling an appointment is incredibly frustrating, often taking 3-4 months just to receive care. My specific complaint with this clinic is the incomprehension action from Dr. Christina Pech. My moms appointment was declined because she was 7 minutes late. While the receptionist initially accepted her, she later informed my mom that Dr. Pech decided not to see her due to the delay. My mom explained she was late because of traffic, not negligence, and understood if it had been 10 minutes or more. However, refusing to see her for a 7-minute delay, with zero compassion, completely contradicts Clinicass stated value of "where excellence meets compassion." The receptionist was kind and respectful, clearly wishing she could help but she had to follow the doctors orders. It’s disheartening that Dr. Pech showed no understanding or empathy—not only towards my mom but also towards her coworkers, who then have to handle the negative fallout from patients due to the doctor’s rigid decisions. If doctors expect patients to wait over 30 minutes in the waiting room, they should extend the same courtesy for minor delays too. Compassion and understanding are essential qualities for healthcare providers and unfortunately, this experience proves that the doctor does not align with Clinicas work values.

K M Dr. Dean Smith and Channel Islands Medical group are great caregivers. Have seen Dr. Dean and his nurse, Dana, for years and they both provide top-notch care. His front desk staff always manage to squeeze me into their schedule quickly when Im ill. Have had extensive discussions with both Dr. Dean and Dana about my condition over the years, which requires regular treatment. Both are eager to learn about their patients experiences and it shows. Dr. Dean has had student doctors come into my exam room a number of times over the years so they can learn as well. Hes always super respectful about it and always asks me if Im comfortable with them joining him during my exam. 10/10, he is one of the two best medical providers Ive encountered all across the US over the years.

I simply scanned a bar code outside the office door, filled out the normal medical questions, provided my phone number and waited in my car until I was called. I even got in a small nap. When I got called I was admitted immediately. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I was impressed with the procedures they conducted, such as, an ekg, lab work and a health physical. David Mendoza I visited this clinic in regard to treatment my mother in law needed for her TB, Upon Arriving I was mistreated and spoken to with a tone of disrespect from “ Melissa”! She didn’t give my concern any importance all she said was “ we only do appointment”! And we will call you. As a Business Banker who works with practice finance, I will make sure to spread the word on the behavior of the staff at this location. I recommend that management should encourage people skills classes or perhaps ask if she is dissatisfied with her role to find the root cause to better her performance. Please acknowledge my concern and I hope and pray this doesn’t happen to anyone else!

Robin Hull I took my son (5 years old) to get his covid vaccine when it was first available. They had 3 nurses in the room to ensure the new vaccine protocols were followed. They made sure to do it right. He was the first patient in that age group to get vaccinated there. Very pleased and Im planning to take my 3 year old there when her vaccine is available.
