Richard Lam Dr John Thomson has been our family physician for over 25 years, that alone says a lot. He now is the PCP for my grandsons. Always clear and concise on directions after carefully listening to our problems and concerns. Highly recommended but good luck on becoming a new patient as he stays busy.

He helped me in managing and stabilizing my Type-2 diabetes and guided me through major back surgery. After many years I consider him both my primary physician and friend. Hes simply exceptional.

Halfacre Shawn (BluePhoenix81) Ive had to go here for urgent care a couple of times over the years and I will say the doctors there during these times have great bedside manners. They are down to earth and treat you like a human. The in my experience with doctors they seem to forget that the people coming in need to hear things in plain English. These folks here will speak to you in lamens terms so you dont get lost in the medical jargon. They are professional yet understand of everyones situation. I would recomend this place if needing urgent care after hours.

Jim Ahler Dr Anton served as my hospitalist during a recent stay at Marion Hospital in Santa Maria. She provided highly competent, caring medical services. She consulted with other medical specialists as required. She explained my condition and prognosis in easily understandable terms. It was my good fortune to have had Dr Anto care for me.

Candice Clay My Family member...My Cat named Mama developed Diabetes very quickly. Yolo Vet was very Compassionate and Cincerned for her well being. Givung me a supply of insulin, needles and diabetic cat food. To no avail, I had to make the decision to send her to yhe Rainbow Bridge since I could not stand to watch her suffer. They gave me extra time to be with her and gave me their condolences many times. I am devistated still. Yolo vet suprised me with a card saying... Major Willis Kind and caring facility that provides daytime activities, lunch, exercise, and social interaction for older adults that arent capable of doing it on their own. Helps with respite for their caregivers/families and lets the participants remain active members of their community. Its a great program but that also comes with the downside of a long wait list to get a spot.

Eldervilla RCFEHOMES YADHC, Woodland is the best place for the elderly in their golden years looking for company, friends and great activities to do. Our (ELDERVILLA) residents love it and are eagerly waiting it to open especially with COVID-19 taking away so much from our life. Not to miss the support the wonderful team provides to elderly at home. The loving care is missed by our residents and they greatly appreciate the care and recommend it strongly for anyone needing adult day care for their loved ones.

Ricardo Rodriguez Well appointed rooms and situated near Davis/Sacramento and SAC is the easy part. The hard part is having staff that are both friendly and attentive. From the room staff and front desk, that was always friendly and greeted me no matter where I was, to Mariah at the front desk who was so attentive and called up to see that my room was satisfactory and then followed up to help me register for my Reward Points. Ashley Rawls The absolute best part of this hotel is the vibrant front desk lady, Tempress. I have been here a month and I look forward to seeing her everyday!! I am really far from home, but she definitely makes me feel like Im not alone out here!! Theres not a time I pass by that she doesnt ask me how my day was and actually want to know. We have gotten to know each other the longer I stay and her genuine kindness and hospitality really mean alot being out here by myself. When shes not here, it literally changes my day or night because the other staff is not like her at all. Theres something about her personality, customer service, and overall vibe that makes this hotel so special!!! She is definitely the heart here ❤️

Cherie Yang This is my second favorite hotel in California and I plan to come back here when I’m in the area. I was here for work in the Sacramento and Davis area. All the hotels in those areas were booked but this location was close enough to commute to the job sites everyday. The breakfast was a standard hotel breakfast; eggs and sausage or ham, waffles, orange or apple juice, and miscellaneous baked goods like muffins, toast, etc. Other contractors also stayed here. The staff is wonderful and very helpful; ask if you need anything and they go out of their way to help. The room cleaning service was standard; it’s a hit and miss, sometimes the room was partially cleaned and other times the room wasn’t touched. Overall, the hotel and room was clean and comfortable, and the service was great.

Jennifer Medina This clinic is so unorganized. We went here so that I could receive care while pregnant. While I was pregnant , they administered a wrong vaccination. I was told I’d be getting a specific shot, only to be given the incorrect shot. They called me about an hour after to tell me I was given an incorrect vaccination and told me “we’re human , we make mistakes”… you work in healthcare? I’m pregnant?? And you’re excusing your mistake with that? I continued my care here which was probably a mistake. We got my daughter’s first appointments here. After a while they told us that she wasn’t covered and we would need to pay upfront for her vaccinations. Mind you, they brought us into the room and we waited an hour to be told this. Afterwards, we called our insurance. Our daughter had been covered since day 1 so I’m not sure where they’re even getting their information from.. with all of this being said, go to a better doctors office. This is not the one to go to.

Man Usman Horrible place to go and get helped! My mom is being going to this hospital for over 10 years her main doctor retired he was an amazing person after him they appointed another doctor she was some what ok ! She went to vacation for 5 months and another doctor came to look at her she took 1 hours to come in the room ! I work grave yard so its little har to go 9 in the morning but thats fine I don’t mind at all ! She came and spend couple of minutes didn’t even look at her just told us that she sending some telynol! My mom was so much in pain she was crying but doctor has no emotion towards her ! Don’t recommed to go to this place if you loved ones need true help !

Zoey C Today was supposed to be my FIRST appointment with midwife. First things first I get a call yesterday and was told to come in early for my appointment due to workers calling in (not a big deal) was never given a time (appointment was originally 1:15) I got to the clinic at 12:30 and was told I had be rescheduled because I was supposed to come in at 11:30.. not one time was I told when to come in! Luckily I lived in woodland but the fact they had very poor communication was very upsetting and when she had called yesterday she thought my appointment was Friday at 1:15 and I had to correct her. Very upset with the way they handled the situation.

Butterfly Rose I would give this place a ZERO STARS. DO NOT GO HERE right now. The dentist located here right now Jennifer Rypel will take it upon her self to do dental work that you did not agree to. She completely TOOK half of my tooth without my consent making a gap in my great smile. Took half of my permanent tooth, the assistant said it was so she can work on the tooth next to it. She said it was because she thought It would be more comfortable to me. No I did not agree to half half my tooth sawed down. I made it clear i did not want that tooth worked on.This has cause great harm to me, emotional pain, anxiety, embarrassment and much more. Someone you think you can trust, but you cant. Great damage was done and I went to them first hoping it would get fixed but through everything they said they would not pay to fix it. I am currently talking with lawyers and writing news stations. This dentist thinks can damage and take your teeth if you are low income, and not fix the damage they have done. Do not trust this dentist. The dentist I had before was great and now this nightmare. I will never go here until they get a new dentist.

Aleksandra Dworska What a colossal disappointment and waste of time. Useless. That’s all I can say. 3 weeks reply time from “case manager” who really doesn’t care. My son has been diagnosed with spectrum back in November of 2023. As of today we haven’t received a single service. I’m supposed to be getting respite service at home but they can’t provide that service. It was suggested to us that we find a family member or a friend who can do that. I found a qualified person. In two weeks they didn’t care to onboard her and so she found another job. I’d be burning in shame if this was how I “perform” my job duties.

Tiffany Santos I’m reading other reviews and can see I’m not the only one. I’m sorry for all the families out there not getting the services they need. I’m in the same boat. They’re all talk, but when it comes down to getting a service, it takes way too long or it never happens. Most of my emails require follow up weeks later. Supervisor never replies, ever. I’m so disappointed and it’s my son who is suffering for not being able to get any of these services. Very rude, unprofessional, and inexperienced staff.

Jure Escalante Ive been with this regional center for many years. Services were always amazing and my case worker was amazing as well. This year and last year have been so horrible for me. Seems like a lot of case workers left. Calls are never returned by workers and supervisors. Not even my emails are answered. Im so upset because they offer services for you and never follow up or help you. I heard a lot of changes have been going on to this location. By the looks of it even the people in charge are as bad as the case workers.

Serge Eremenko My wife and I tried to get help from Regional Center for our son almost a year. So many phone appoitments, mails/e-mails, tests and papers to fill in. At last we were approved and got contacts to our coordinator. It took around 3 weeks to call and mail him and when finally he called me back he told me that Regional Center doesnt provides for childs with autism speech therapy or other therapies, only babysitter if my wife wants to come to supermarket. A long way in a year to hear this... Upgrade. We got the new worker and situation improved significantly. She and her supervisor really try to help us. I wish that all who needs help get it ASAP. Thank you!

Paulina Gonzalez Don’t expect any real answers or help here and don’t bother with patient advocacy they don’t respond to anyone’s messages of complaints. This hospital should be called “human sendaway” because kindness is not what this hospital represents. The ER doctors act like you are wasting their time, the nurses never have answers and the wait time is ridiculous. Please save yourself the pain and agony and go to UC Davis in Sacramento.

Philip Williams My goodness!! This Emergency center was probably the best I have encountered. Not that I visit often but as a healthcare professional customer service is almost everything to me!! The nurses, radiologist, and physician gave me “the works” to ensure that they assist all my needs.

Nico VanEeckhoutte I came in with a chest drain from surgery that kept filling rapidly with dark blood that had to be dumped about every hour. ER was crowded. I waited for several hours outside in the cold because I didnt want to catch COVID since people inside were not masking. Then when I was finally seen, they just sent me home, saying I didnt have a hematoma. The next morning, I went back to UCSF (where the surgery had been done) and the thing the doctor at Woodland said was not a hematoma WAS a hematoma! I had another surgery to drain it at UCSF. Going to the Woodland Memorial Hospital ER was probably one of the scariest nights of my life and they acted as if my issue was no big deal and didnt even diagnose me properly even after I waited so long to get care.

Alex Negrete Ive recently spent some time getting treated for an ongoing problem of mine, and the last two times Ive been treated it was by Dr Anthony ambrosino. He was very professional and talked me though all of the information i needed to know in detail and awnsered all of my questions. Definitely made a bad experience feel less miserable!!!

Sheri H I have never had a positive experience at this ER and my family has instructions to never ever take me there again. If the staff are not callous and cruel, they are overwhelmed - and this was the case before Covid. Now it is much worse, with not enough staff to cover care needs. At my last visit I heard nearby patients waiting for and not receiving critical care, even though it was not particularly crowded. So poorly managed I imagine it is difficult to keep good staff. Avoid if you can.

Gerardo Gutierrez Front desk Jeff was rude at the beginning of check in, in the process he changed lil bit, not sure what is wrong with him. Rooms pretty decent comparing price. Easy access from I1-5, and plenty places to eat around and gas stations.

Steve Rogers Jeff has some serious attitude issues. Me and my family walked in to check in, and he was already yelling at a couple walking out. The first thing he said to us was "What do you want" and was acting like he was on drugs (scratching his face, erratic behavior). He snapped at me when I asked if he could make sure we could get a room with 2 beds and that was a big deal for him because he threw a fit the rest of the check in process, as if Im inconveniencing him by being a customer. My kids were scared so my wife asked if we could just go somewhere else, so we left. Wont be back.

Marisa Martinez I had an unpleasant stay here unfortunately. The walls are paper thin so I could hear people talking, snoring, water running, other things… Towels are kinda crappy, but I guess it’s what you pay for when staying in a lower-end hotel. Bedding was clean but it was not very comfortable. The concierge was nice and understanding. It didn’t seem like he wanted to give me a new room when I complained about the noise though. Location is not bad, there are some restaurants nearby like Denny’s, and it’s close to the highway.

Matt Huculak I ended up at Quality Inn after leaving the Motel 6 next door. In comparison, this hotel was clean, well-lit, and the staff friendly. I found my room clean, which is all I really expect from a two-star hotel. In terms of the immediate surrounding area, I would say this hotel is the best.

Shonal Chand Very disappointed at the front desk person named Jeff. Was little rude upon check-in and later said my card was not working and clearly the machine got stuck while charging my credit card. Won’t be coming back here in the future.

Lib Lib In daily pain. Called, was told I was being put on hold, line disconnected. Called back, same man answered, asked a few questions before saying he was putting me on hold and hanging up again. Called a third time, the receptionist asked the same questions, then put me on hold for 14 minutes. Hung up, called a fourth time, on hold for 26 minutes but no one ever even answered that time. I just want to schedule an appointment and get help with this pain before it becomes an emergency.

Anthony Reyes I took my girlfriend’s father to his appointment with Dr. Nguyen since she was sick. We arrived on time for his 830am appointment, however I was notified by the lady checking us in that Dignity flagged him as no show because he had missed his 8am appointment. This was utterly false. I had to call my girlfriend to have her send over the screenshots of his appointments through Dignity’s website. Lo and behold, there was no 8am appointment. Finally after displaying the facts the receptionist told us to have a seat. About 10mins later a young girl come out and informs us it will be another 25min wait because they “had” to see other people first. So we wait. We finally are seen at 915am when his appointment was at 830am. At the conclusion of Dr. Nguyen’s checkup with my girlfriend’s dad, I ask him why was I no showed when we had no appointment at 8am? Dr Nguyen replies that employees called out sick so they are short staffed. He then proceeds to get emotional and state that all the employees at dignity are hard workers, etc. I proceed to correct him and say that I never questioned anyone’s work ethic at Dignity. I asked him if it was reasonable for me to think Dignity would see us at the appointment time scheduled, he responds “No.” Lastly Dr. Nguyen said Dignity Health does not have enough money to hire sufficient staffing. I was shocked by Dr. Nguyen’s smug attitude and lack of professionalism in regard to our appointment! Please do better Dignity.

Derrick Alcott My visit with Nurse Practitioner Marian Roethler was fantastic. The poor review is not for the care I received in the hands of the medical professional. The care I received from Nurse Roethler was top notch. The administrative team at the Specialty Care office at Woodland Dignity Health is absolutely abysmal. I have been battling with them for 4 months. I have had to call nearly a dozen times to check on the status of things. They continue to not submit the pre-authorization documents that they needed to submit, they blatantly lied right to my face on more than one occasion, they were never apologetic, they made no attempts whatsoever to correct any of their mistakes or make it right. I just dont understand why they continue to refuse to submit basic paper work, despite me calling and pleading repeatedly over the course of months. Its completely unacceptable. On top of the horrible customer service, the facility will schedule you for imaging with an in-network doctor, but then surprise bill you with an overseeing physician that you never met with which is not in-network, so you have to pay a bunch more money, even though you never saw that doctor. Scummy business practices all around.

Alex Sanchez I was transferred to this facility for the mental health behavioral facility and my experience was awful. First I am a Type 1 diabetic, they took my insulin pump and in my care of my diabetes they treated it like I was a Type 2. I am insulin dependent, I have to have insulin to stay alive. They treated me awfully. They were not giving me enough insulin, I was sick the entire time with a roller coaster of blood sugar levels. At one point I reach 517 and I was so sick I’m sure I was in ketosis. When I asked for Ketone strips to test them, they supposedly tried to find some and within a few minutes they told me that their departments don’t have them and they refused to find any. They did not listen to me at all about my care even though I have been a T1 for 20 years, since I was 8 years old. I know what I was talking about and when I told them to contact my endocrinologist they just kept telling me this is their protocol. One nurse told me that they would lose their license if they used my actual sliding scale essentially saying my life was less important than their license. She even told me “then you shouldn’t be in a mental health facility”. I couldn’t believe she had just told me that when I had come in for a mental health crisis. This facility was awful, the way they even treated other patients was very shady. I will say the techs were amazing and very sweet, but the nurses need to be reevaluated in their positions at this facility. I hope that no other Type 1 diabetic has a mental crisis that puts them at this facility, because essentially they were killing me.

Helen Bouslaugh Our GP has cancelled so many appointments and we our so frustrated with the Clinic. When we began using this clinic 40+ years ago, it was the premier facility in Northern CA. Patients came from Redding to be seen here! Urgent Care is not to relieve the ER, as they have no on-site services other than colds, flu or minimal care which in most cases is not urgent care. We will now go straight to ER. There are specialty departments that function flawlessly, however, seeing a doctor to get the referral to a specialty department is a long drawn out process taking months of patience! And the Advocacy line is a perfunctory option without any results. This is a sad state of affairs. We will be calling our insurance for options close by.

malena Ramos Dear Patrick Newton, I am writing to express my concern regarding my recent visit to urgent care. My daughter and I arrived at 7:00 PM and were last seen at the facility. At approximately 7:50 PM, I asked Franchesca how long it would be before we were seen, and she informed me that we would be next. However, I noticed that multiple walk-in patients who arrived after me were seen before us. When I inquired about this, Franchesca stated that those patients had arrived before me, which was not accurate. Additionally, she rolled her eyes at me, which I found to be unprofessional and dismissive. At 7:50 PM, another walk-in patient arrived and was seen before us as well. As a front office employee at Woodland Health Care, Franchesca’s role is crucial in ensuring fairness, accuracy, and professionalism, especially when dealing with sick patients. Proper documentation and patient prioritization are essential in a healthcare setting. I hope you will take this matter seriously and implement the necessary changes and training to prevent this from happening to others in the future. Thank you for your time and attention.

I asked to talk with her regarding delas in office visits; firs she talk with me at her door, treated me with rudeness, flat out told that "you have to understand...." trying to make me believe it is okay to wait a long time for a dr. She even went to the extreme is saying that most of the health places makes their patients to wait. Even at the ER I only waited there 30 minutes. maybe she needs strong "how to treat people catalogue and online courses. In my long teaching career never seen such an outstanding woman with no people skills and just discriminates and look down to others. Maybe she thinks that its okay to mistreat people that are coming for health at a low coast clinic. I have being coming to this place for over ten years and I never experienced and office manager mistreat and being discriminatory with patients. The public that goes to this clinic is highly diverse with a variety of backgrounds and she can not expect will accept her being arrogant and look down people.

Lei Macaso Ive been going to Salud Clinic for about 1 year now. I really enjoy the appointments I have with Dr. Ghonasgi because shes very attentive and very nice. The staff at the Safe Care Clinic have all been nice to me as well. However, there can be long wait times depending on the day and it can take several weeks to be seen by your preferred provider.

jowell bell I honestly believe any 4-5 star review was staged and paid for. There is absolutely no way any real person would give this place 5 stars, This place is horrible!!!! I went with this office for my prenatal care and it has been the worst experience. If you have a medical issue, it takes 2+ weeks to determine what is wrong and then another 1-2 weeks to be treated. There are NO Doctors only Midwives so if you have something serious going on they will suggest you go to an emergency room. I gave a urine sample once and was called to come back after I made it home because “there wasn’t enough urine”. I have had Kaiser my whole life but suffered a lapse in coverage. I definitely see the difference in care and wouldn’t recommend anyone chose this office.

XBY Alla (Allochka) The doctor came over unprofessionally. She accepted patients in Sacramento at the Whole Health Community clinic. My mom was her patient a three years. Last time, when we saw her and making a new appointment on a front desk, we were told about transferring the entire clinic to a new office at a different address. We were given a new address and a telephone with the date of the next appointment in three months. A month after that, when I getting drugs at the pharmacy, it turned out that the doctor had not extended prescriptions for half the drugs. I call on a new phone, and they tell me that the doctor does not work for them, then I decided to check our future appointment with Dr., and it turned out that we are not on schedule. I went to the old clinic, but it was closed and the phone did not answer. We urgently had to change the doctor and appoint a new appointment with him. I believe that this is absolutely not professional on the part of the doctor, who is also responsible for the lives of patients, be aware of her discontinuation of servicing these patients, and do not say about this, don’t leave any contacts with her and just throw your patients.

I would like to note her efficiency as the head of the medical center, her activity, responsibility, talent for managing subordinates, knowledge of aspects of planning the work of her department. Despite the workload of the medical center, the work of the medical staff is clearly organized. Each patient receives a kind word and attention. Liana Turkot knows how to listen carefully, convince you of the correctness of treatment and give useful advice.

Anne LN Initially had a telehealth appointment with Dr. Brar, as my previous doctor stalled on any pain medication for months. I had scheduled another in-person appointment a month later. She was supposed to have requested physical therapy. I had to ask about it again at the appointment. They hadnt even addressed it. She only put in the referral for my back. She never mentioned my knee. I cant walk without assistance (cane or walker). She doesnt respond to portal notes. I messaged the generic exercises she had someone send me cant be done with my conditions (degenerative joint disease of the spine and a thinning bone where my kneecap could move). Twice she noted my failure to make eye contact. I have severe medical anxiety. Not making eye contact is the least of my problems. If you ask why things arent being done, she notes you have an aggressive tone. Never noted the clinics failure to do their job or follow up. The clinic noted in the portal it was "ok to deny" my PT request as I needed something closer to my job, not 40 minutes away in Woodland. I would lose my job if I had to keep taking off vs doing PT on my lunch hour. They declined it because their in-network providers were available (but not accessible to me). The clinicians will also note not to reply to each other in the portal if they know you read and follow-up on comments left about you; esp. the inaccurate ones. Overall, find another doctor/clinic. Helping patients isnt on the agenda with Dignity. PT was denied because I cant travel 40 minutes one way and they wont approve a closer PT office because its not an emergency. I guess diminished quality of life, and independence arent taken into consideration. Who knew walking wasnt important?
