Airra Cruz My 2-week old nails still looks good (except for that chip that was caused by chores lol). And left hand looks better because its my non dominant hand lol. It was my first time going and the service was very quick - under an hour for gel manicure and regular no-polish pedicure.

One highlight that set this salon apart were the complimentary drinks! It was the perfect touch for our girls day out—enjoying a glass of Champagne while getting pampered truly elevated the experience. I treated myself to the regular deluxe pedicure (absolutely worth it!), my mom got a classic manicure, and my aunt chose a regular French pedicure with just a $10 upgrade. We all left with stunning nails! *However, I do want to mention that while my mom’s male technician did a good job with her manicure, his customer service was lacking. Which too away from the experience. I would recommend looking for another technician for a more personable experience. Overall, we had a wonderful time and I highly recommend for a complete top-notch nail salon experience—just be mindful of who you book with.

Dee Robbins I really loved going to this salon. I was a regular customer going faithfully every other week. I’m starting to notice inconsistency in the prices for my nails. I keep my nails short and I usually pay $35 for my fills. This past time I was charged more and I did not get anything extra. I notice that they do not have a price list posted for their services. I truly believe that they make up prices as they go. One visit your nails are $35 another time they charge you $40+. It’s honestly sad that they do this to loyal customers. For the most part, they do a really great job on my nails and feet. I just got a bad vibe when the guy behind the register charged me more for my basic nails. I usually always tip, but this particular time I did not tip. They’re either adding in their own tip, or being dishonest and overcharging customers. It would be nice if they had a price list posted for customers to see what they charge. Unfortunately, I have decided not to go back. I am now on the hunt for an HONEST salon to do my nails.

Andrea F I use to be a regular but I got tired of the straight attitude by one of the Ladies there. Unfortunately and for whatever reason every time I go they have her help me. I assume cause I dont have an appt so walk ins beware. But I actually stopped coming for 2 months, so today I thought lets give them another chance and sure enough Im pared with the grouch. She sees obviously mold on my nail and as always hurts me yells then points at my nail. I see the mold and any smart technician would see this an advise a acrylic removal with acetone she wanted to drill it off I asked her not too and got upset. I wanted to pay to have them removed in a manner it wouldnt hurt me and she got mad upset an attitude. Then said I remember you and put her hand up at my face. Worse service ever, the nails arent even good I went just for the sticker variety. But honestly dont go here not worth your time or money. You will leave with INFECTION.

evelyn rodriguez I went today (walk-in) and the guy gladly took me in. He asked me to choose a color and as i was trying to pick ( less than 1 minute) he hands me a pallet and says "here, choose from this one" and guides me to his chair... i stopped half way and said "but i dont like any of these colors" and walked back to where all the pallets were at, and grab one i liked. Took me less than 2 minutes. When he was done shaping my tips from first hand, i asked him to make 1 nail more pointy, as it was round, instead of almond. He lookd at me and with an attitude he filed it down. When he was done with the second hand, i did the same, as another nail was very round. He looked at me, turned back and threw his nail file in his cart, got up and said, "someone else will help you" he then started saying something to another nail tech, she came to me and said "its ok, ill help you" i was shocked...worst customer service ever!

Astrid I was in a time crunch and went to this place to have my lifting dip powder polish removed and to have regular polish applied. I like the color of these nails, but the service was very rushed and nails are not well done. It wasnt very busy when I came in yesterday, and I asked to have the dip powder polish removed and to have regular polish. The start of the manicure went well, but it went downhill when I asked for a ballerina tip shape for my nails. The nail tech told me "no," and I was disappointed as I like that shape and had it done on short nails before. The electric filing was effective but harsh on some fingers. The soaking water was luke-warm, but nothing to fuss over too much. I picked my color, which matched the swatch to the T, and noticed as she applied it that she kept looking at the two new customers entering the salon. The painting got sloppier, and I felt rushed. The final nail on the coffin was watching the nail tech apply a gel top coat. I requested regular polish, and so I was expecting regular polish for all coats. At the end of my service the nail tech asked if I could move seats while my nails were still curing so that she could tend to a different client. I received no cuticle oil and just a "be careful" warning for my nails. As of now chipping has occurred on some nails. I did not tip, and I almost did not want to pay. Im aware that polish removal and regular polish application is simple to experienced nail techs, and so I can understand that it would be a quick session. However, the rushing, dismissal, and slapdash is what made this usual treat an unsavory experience. 09/07/24 Update: The old dip powder polish wasnt removed completely. I have a third picture showing the aftermath of removing the polish.

Emily Tyson This is my go to for my nails. They have never messed up or given me any kind of bad attitude. My nails always come out even, exact shape I want, and if I want any kind of design, it always looks great. Highly recommend coming here if you want any kind of design for your nails.

Sandra Rodriguez The place is very clean that’s why I decided to enter. I got a pedi and that was great. However, they didn’t tell me that some cream they used was an additional $10. They should say is extra. I only asked for a regular pedi nothing extra! Then I got a mani and the stylist cut my finger. It bled for a while and I didn’t even get color bc my finger wouldn’t stop bleeding n I had to leave. I will not return.

She was rolling her eyes at her and was aggressively filing her toenails. She also grew angry when the lady didn’t want to buy a toe treatment. Will NEVER go back to this shop.

Jasmine Alexis I came here because I previously had a really good experience with Kathy. Today I brought my partner in expecting a positive experience and was deeply disappointed. The ladies that took on our pedicure did not seem enthused at all. The lady who did my pedicure barely buffed or filed my nails and it showed once she started to paint them. They were really bumpy and uneven and in need of filing. My feet look dry and she barely put a pumice to my feet. It was a one two up and down stroke and she was done. As for my partner, we paid for the men’s pedicure which is significantly more expensive and he asked for white wine, nothing sweet and was given a mimosa. The man that was in here prior to us was still receiving a massage when my partners was already finishing up. It clearly states, 20 minute massage. I’m supposed to be paying $90 for my feet and hands and was offered nothing to drink, powder was left all over my clothes and not even an attempt was made to wipe me off. I’m really disappointed that I’m spending so much money for a very terrible experience and that my last good experience means nothing now.

Lovelylady2324 I got a basic pedicure with a matte finish. On two of the toe nails needed repaired because they had cracked. Simple file down and add acrylic right?! Well two additional ladies came over and started laughing and speaking in their native language all while telling me "Its a learning lesson" Then what is so funny? Isnt repairing a nail something you shouldve learned while getting your certificate/nail tech license?! What I got done was simple and did not require an audience! I paid my tab but NO TIP for you!

Sherdellah Anunciado Always love coming here! If you want to save some money, set your expectations and get cash. They do charge an extra 3% service fee for credit cards. Otherwise, the services, decorative facilities, and staff are all worth it! They are always clean, the staff is courteous and friendly, the bathroom is super cute and they have special drink options in their packages. Every technician Ive had on a walk in is always good. They dont rush and they ask for your name. Some also take venmo tips! Always recommend this place to my friends and family.

The nails looked really nice but I couldnt show them right after because I had glue all over my fingers and there were cuts as well. pricella Cervantes They did a great job the first time I came to this place for a pedicure. I came back for another pedicure and a full set yesterday and the nail technician could not get the right shape, the design was crooked and she kept hurting me with the tool she used to shape my nails. Before she even got started, I showed her a picture of what I wanted my nails to look like and she said she could do it. After being in the salon for three hours, I was still unhappy with the work she had done so I asked for a $20 discount because I have to go get these nails fixed somewhere else. I spoke with the manager over the phone to see if they could fix my nails free of charge but she said I had to pay $55 and they can get the nails done the way I wanted. What a waste of money and time. Never again!

Abril Victoria im litterally getting a pedicure right now no color. $21 pedicure. the tub had a plastic wrap and had clean tools. the massage chairs are great and the timed massage that she gave me was amazing. my friend in the other hand got just as great! $5 extra to remove the gel but the attention she got was just as great 2 different people and great pedicure experiences. definitely coming back.

My fiancé got a full set and pedi and the level pampering was way above our expectations. MaryEllen Richmond All these Nail techs are great artist. They take their time no rush but if your in a hurry they try their hardest to get you out quick! They don’t question any idea wanted. I will wait before I go any where else. You don’t have kids running around it’s a calm relaxing little place to get away. I’ve had every nail tech do my nails and none have ever failed. Phantasia Brendez Went in for a fill and the lady messed up my shape the polish is cakey. She missed parts of my nails for the fill so it dips in by my cuticles. The polish is also done bad. Paid 50 for this. She was rushing through it so she could go home. I understand that she wanted to go but you didnt close until 7 pm I got there at 545 and had to have my nails redone for work and it was the only place still open at that time.

Sherdellah Anunciado My first time here and Ive found a gem! My assigned nail tech, Lien, took her time with removing my previous (gritty) gel manicure from somewhere else. Then when she applied the new gel polish, she meticulously went all the way to the cuticle and didnt blob on too much, unlike other fast seat turning salons. The entire time I was there, their customers came in like regulars, some even brought them holiday gifts, many phoned in for appointments and in return, they were all very nice to greet each customer walking in within 5 seconds of stepping foot in the salon. I definitely recommend and look forward to returning!

Cynthia Flores I had given them a great review a while back but I’ve been consistently disappointed with service and quality the last few times. After this last service I will not be going back. I got a gel manicure a day before vacation and it looked nice. 2 days later (I was out of town already) one of the gels chipped. Then a few days after the gel edges started to lift a little and it just did not look nice anymore. I was gone for a week and went back to salon about 12 days after the service and I explained what happened but I was only offered excuses. No apologies and not even a discount for a redo. The tech said it was peeling because my nails were too thin (it had been 9 months since I had had gel and this had never happened to me before). But when he was removing the gel it literally just peeled away without any effort. That’s when he did say something about my base not being done right because he was able to just peel off. Still no apologies or discount. I paid for a new set plus gratuity. Photo is what they looked like on the day I went back to salon. There were a few chips on the other hand as well but not as much.

The worst manicure, the manicurist didnt soak my nails in hot water or take the time to clean the cuticles of the nails it always seems that they are in a hurry even if they dont have customers waiting and I gave them another chance and I only asked for change the gel on the nails and she did it in such a hurry that they were horrible and the worst thing was that she removed the previous gel using just the machine and left my nails super fragile and thin! Ill never come back!!!

Isabella Ontiveros Worst manicure experience I’ve ever had. They rushed through the entire process in 20 minutes. I had gel to remove and the tech used a mechanical rotating file to remove the gel and “trim” my cuticle. It hurt to say the least… She removed some of my natural nail in the process as they’re now thin and really tender. The manicure is terrible as I still have visible cuticle around the nails. She did a horrible job painting- see photo attached with a piece of hair stuck in the nail I didn’t see until looking at them when she finished. I quietly asked to speak to the manager but no discount was offered or provided. I didn’t accept their offer to redo the nail as my nails were already hurting so bad. Will never go back.

Nashyra Barnes Went in for a full set and pedicure. Pedicure was nice. Full set, my nails started breaking only a few days later. Before two weeks one whole hand had messed up nails. Super disappointed. This has never happened before and I’ve gone to plenty different salons.

Rhonda Got a basic pedicure here, and they couldnt do it right. The pedicure lady rushed through it and left my nails looking like they werent done. They offered to fix it, and it still looked the same. And all the manager offered was a sorry and a shrug,which does nothing to fix the problem. Arianna Harvey I’ve been coming here for the past 3 years and didn’t matter who i got because they always did such a good job! Recently i found Anna and i absolutely love her! I decided the first time that she is my go to! Her personality it’s amazing it’s never an awkward silence because she chats it up and i love it. I trust her completely with my nails because i hate having the trendy long nails (i need to be able to grip and close my fists completely) she lets me know what she’s doing and tells me all the time to let her know if something hurts or burns. Georgina Martinez I have been coming to City Nails for many years. The service is great. The prices are very reasonable. Its always nice and clean and they stay true to their hours. If you are looking for nice and long term nail tech. this is a good place for that. What I mean is I personally dont like to have different people working on me every time I get my nails done. I like to be able to build a relationship with my nail technician. That way they know what I like/dislike. This is a good place to visit for that type of thing. In my opinion.

My husband even requests a Pedi with Li once in a while. Right now I get a regular mani and Pedi with Sea salt and paraffin. This is the ultimate relaxation. Highly recommend

Ashlee Westmoreland Nail tech seemed nice at first but is very pushy and rough if you don’t take her recommendations. She cut me after immediately starting my pedicure. From there she didn’t do much of what was listed on the service sheet. She didn’t clean my cuticles at all. She cut my nails filed them and immediately began painting them. After she painted them she was very rough in scrubbing my feet and going through the motions of applying the lotion literally took her 15min to do my pedicure. I finished before a lady that had been there long before me. She wanted to do an overlay for my manicure and I didn’t want that she insisted and I said no thank you. She began to roughly trim my nails and cuticles. She painted them tried to fix one that she smudged but did a bad job. I sat and let my nails dry for 10 min as instructed. My nails smudged as soon as I got in the car. Other techs seemed nice and thorough. However this is my first and last time at otay nails

Claudia Johnson I needed my nails done badly let me just say Im used to going to just my girl but I was far away from her and I could not wait to see her. I went to Otay nails from reading a review and Im definitely NOT disappointed.. I had an appt and didnt wait too long for them to help me out.. Megan did my full set and I love them .. unfortunately I did not get the name of the young lady that did my feet but she did an amazing job I would definitely recommend this nail shop my only wish is that I lived closer to the shop.

Rafamama Did a nice job with my french pedicure, but the leg massage was nothing more than a quick lotion rub, and I was surprised that they charge extra for full gel polish service when they barely used any for only the white tips. Overall average, but decent service.

SJ This is the second time that I have had the pleasure to get my nails done by Jade, and this time I just had to leave a review. She always does an exceptional job, she takes her time, and its an added plus that she comes in early. Thank you Jade, as always I love my nails, see you soon.

Tiana Cabading Nail tech was pushy and cut me and then didn’t even do a full manicure. No lotion or massage. Literally took her 10 mins to do my nails and I got the powder and gel. I will not recommend to friends or family. I will not be going back.
