SEL Ive been coming to Tinzee for many years now and, although though these owners are new, the quality and customer service is the reason that, whenever I am in Pasadena, I make sure to book a spa mani/pedi! My mani/pedi picture is a week old, so you can see how it looks even after a week later! If only Tinzee would expand to the Central Coast! Highly recommend them!

lara liu This nail spa is my top choice. Ive been a regular for six months, opting for a new style every three weeks. The skill of the technicians is outstanding, with a keen focus on detail. What stands out the most is that despite frequently changing styles and applying or removing gel coats, my nails remain undamaged. Their gentle approach, avoiding harsh chemicals for gel removal and being careful while polishing, truly makes a difference. The halo effect on my nails is a testament to their perfect gel application. I wouldnt consider going to another spa in SGV.

Sidni Contreras Its sad I have to give this place such a bad review because Fifi does good nails, is quick and the price is really good. But oh boy is she a hot head! I always walk in, never have an appt as its always a last minute decision I make to go on my lunch break, and both girls who work there (there is only 2) know this. When I went in Fifi was busy, which I understood. The older woman said she had time, but she was working on someone. She had me sitting with foil on my hands for almost 30 minutes before she started taking it off. I felt so bad for the other woman who she was working on, but she was nice and understood I had to get back to work. The older woman started going back and forth between us and when it came time to file my nails, they were so crooked, I kept asking her to fix it but then she stopped and said Fifi would file my nails since she knows what I like. Again, I didnt ask for this, I asked her nicely to re-file my nails and SHE made the decision to pass it off to Fifi, who was already working on her next appt. I then waiting another 25 mins, when she finally asked Fifi to file my nails. Fifi immediately started yelling and the girl she was working on got up and said shed be back in 30 mins or so. Fifi stood up looked at me and yelled "I said I was busy, what you dont remember?". I was in complete shock. I couldnt believe she was yelling and I let her know it was uncalled for as I didnt ask for any special favors or even ask for her at all. She just kept repeating herself, yelling more and more at me. The poor woman next to me looked like she wanted to crawl under a rock. I got up and left with 3 crooked nails. Awful customer service, and its a shame cuz I really did like it there, but I will never go back.

Jiavani Haynes I went in and got a manicure, just wanted clear polish on top when done. After Maya got done with my nails, she took it upon herself to pull out a buffer and shine my nails, didn’t ask if I wanted it or anything. After she was done, she charged me $28 for a basic manicure with no polish. She states that the $20 was manicure and $8 was for the shine buffer. Unmmm excuse me but I did not ask for that service, would I have been wrong to not pay the extra $8 for this service that I did not ask for. Watch them, they will do things and you’ll think that they’re doing it as apart of the service and will charge you extra when done. People like this, I do not trust and will never return ! Luckily I didn’t walk out and not pay her anything since she wanted to be slick. Not only that but my daughter got her nails polished by Maya and Maya made 2 nails with glitter on them “nothing fancy” and charged an extra $2 without even asking me to do it. This is bad business and I was hella mad

Danielle Williams Mark retired and now their Under new management that goes by Aqua nails. A guy did my nails and They were supposed to be Coffin shaped. The nails were okay until it was time to put Gel on It. They got shaped to square shaped . Now it looks like I have long chiclets on my hands lol . They’re over priced now ! I will only go back Here to get my eyebrows waxed by Nancy!

Claire Castiglioni I don’t particularly enjoy leaving negative reviews but I just have to with this one. Came here late on a Saturday because my normal place was closed already but I was just desperate to get my gel polish removed, and I just wanted my nails shaped and clear pink polished. When I left my nails were completely uneven and the edges were jagged as hell, the polish was painted on super thick and carelessly, it left bubbles in the polish and there were even strands of lint dried into my nails. The previous polish was also not fully removed. I mean, it was so bad I was laughing after looking at my nails more closely. And to top it all off a few days later I found one of my cuticles became infected. So I can’t say I recommend this place. At least not an hour before closing on a Saturday.

Dulce zeledon I really didn’t like my nails she did a dip powder left me some bumps the quality of that job wasn’t that good. And specially for the price $60 for only manicure deep powder. The receptionist was very nice and friendly the place is nice and clean.

Taylor Quarles I came here to get a dip manicure and the manicure was great. But as the hours went on the topcoat started chipping. So I went Back the next day and they said they fixed it but it was like this time was worst. Now the dip is chipping along with the topcoat

c hernandez Mary is so incredibly talented!!! She has cut and styled my hair for years and always makes me look like a million bucks. She also gives the most amazing pumpkin extract facials. While the mask is setting she even massages my arms and hands. She always goes the extra mile and ensures that you go away feeling you have had an amazing spa day!

Lisa MT I go to get my brows threaded here. Mary - there are two Marys, Mary in the salon is excellent. The other Mary in the area where they do nails is very nice and does good nails but I would stick to the Mary in the salon area for threading and all salon services. She is very friendly and understands your needs quickly.

sarah Mendoza I got my nails done here and I was not happy with the outcome. I believe her name was Tracy. I tried to tell her multiple times my nail was crooked and she just ignored me. She used waaay too much glue to the point were my fingers stuck to hers and I have a bunch of glue under my nail. The tip of my finger was glued to the nail. It felt very rushed. I asked for some jewels and she didn’t place them nicely, they were kinda just thrown on quickly and not really centered or spaced out like I had asked. For $70+ tip I was expecting better than what I got.

J Lopez A little GEM that I have been searching for for over a decade!! All other nail salons in the San Gabriel Valley/Pasadena area noisy, unprofessional, dirty, and the technicians are abrasive. There is no sense of calmness or relaxation that one expects when having your nails done. Polished Nails is quaint, super clean, charming and it has a pleasant atmosphere. Karen does my nails and like never before, they are strong and healthy because of the care and products she uses. Attention to detail is a non-negotiable, she is so knowledgeable and takes her time. I finally have found my little piece of “nail” heaven.

Tabitha Kirkendall Excellent attention to detail, the technicians here are very clean and thorough with their work. I went in for a pedicure and received one of the best massages Ive had in a long time. The pedicure I received included callus removal, paraffin wax dip, multiple leg and foot masks, and my technician also ensured to remove a slightly ingrown nail Ive recently developed. At 9 months pregnant, I cant reach my own feet to do much TLC, so all the effort and care was much appreciated. For $50, this was a great value in my opinion. Will definitely be coming back for future pedicures!

Abigail Forbes They told me they could do the look in the photo/video I showed them multiple times, but when we were halfway through my gel-x i found out they didn’t actually have those chrome colors. The nails didn’t come out how I asked, but they were pretty after I pivoted to something else. I wouldn’t be upset if they lasted, but both of my thumb nails popped off after 1 day. They didn’t buff the back of the nail extension so it’s super easy for them to come off. I paid $80 total for nails that lasted me one day. On the bright side the lady who did mine was gentle.

Trang Pham If you need a salon that take care of you from A-Z, this is the place. I went in very close to when the shop closes but they are so welcoming and accommodating me with both pedicures and waxing. The pedicure was quick, to the point, and looks great! The wax was beyond my expectations. She paid attention to all of the details even though its way past the store close hour. Amazing! Highly recommend!!

Fred This place is better than the other on the same street, the attention to detail by the employees is great, strongly recommend. Only issues is the seats need replacing other than that it’s a great place.

Fiona Wills PROARTISTFIFI I live only a min drive to Dynasty Salon, so when I googled nail salon near me this is the first to pop up. I instantly felt welcomed on my first visit. Nina the owner along with her sister Lily is absolutely wonderful to be around. Amazing services always. I get both gel-x manicure and pedicure with gel polish. Nina does my manicure and Lily does my pedicure, and I tell you my hand and feet be looking so beautiful when their done with my services. They listen and treat you with care and appreciation, and great customer services. Thank you guys so much for being amazing at your craft and sharing it with us.

Robbin Rae McCulloch Been coming for a good 8 years +. Always a great experience. Although everyone is great, Lily is my go to for pedi. Rose does a great mani and gel X. I appreciate that they have regular polish to match the gel colors. Clean, thorough, and great pricing. Free parking in back lot and plenty of free on street parking. Easily call and book an appointment, walk ins are welcome. Friday and Saturday get busy baby. I literally drive from LA to get my pedicures. Love them!

Naddie Zlatan Friendly and attentive nail technicians. I could tell that they have integrity and choose to not take short cuts. At a different salon in Hollywood the tech used the electric tool to take off the dip powder and my nails became extremely brittle and broke. I was happy that at Dynasty the tech (I think his name was Tony) took his time to carefully remove the dip! I truly appreciate when techs are patient and value their customers. I will be returning!

Jenny Garcia Moved to Pasadena two years ago, and after having the same nail technician for 20 years, finding my new go-to was a challenge. I went through countless nail salons in the area, but within 20 minutes of my first appointment with Nikki, I knew she was the one! She’s incredibly talented, pays close attention to detail, and actually listens to all of my personal requests—something that’s hard to find. On top of that, she’s super kind and funny, which makes every appointment enjoyable. I’ve been loyal to her ever since, and as long as I’m in Pasadena, she’s the only person I’ll trust with my nails. If you’re looking for someone who truly knows what they’re doing and makes the whole experience great, Nikki is it!

Lindsey Ingram I will never go to this salon again. I had been going for a couple months and had a good experience, but the most recent time I went they were dishonest about their prices and way overcharged me for the service. I made an appointment a day in advance and requested a dip manicure. On their pricing menu in their salon, it says that a dip manicure is $28. When the lady finished my nails, I went to pay and was told that my bill was $48. When I pointed out that their menu said the service was $28 the lady gave me some flimsy explanation that dip powder and dip manicure as are different things. Regardless, I specifically requested a dip manicure so I should not have been up-charged for a service that I didnt receive. They dipped my nail twice and then put a coat of gel on top. If a gel manicure there is regularly $30 then there is no reason that two dips of powder and gel on top should be $48. If you value doing business with people that show integrity then I would strongly discourage you from going here.

Connie Freeman I live in the neighborhood and past by this place all of time while walking. I was looking to treat myself to a pedicure and manicure and thought of them. When I noticed they now do massages I was excited!! Why? Because I was on the hunt for a massage right after. I had just completed a 30 day walk challenge and was in need of EVERYTHING! I got a massage first by Wendy and it was GREAT!!! After I was done, I got a pedicure and manicure. Both nail techs did a great job as well. Very professional and clean environment. I’ll definitely be back!

Fay Chen They give certain group of people better treatment. And they feel like dislike Asian. I walked in store and chose the manicure. The business owner(I guess, she assigned stylist)does not say hi and she just use finger pointed a seat. When I picked nail color she looked down and stared at me for few seconds. I feel uncomfortable. I thought this might be their working style. However, the next customer came in, not Asian, everyone feels happy and welcome her, and trying to help with what’s she needs. I feel like I have been treated unfairly and discriminated against in store. I definitely would not recommend a store that treats their customers differently.

Z Nyree-Zenia Coleman I went there on Mother’s Day for 2023 and I took my best friend with me who is a new mother. They were rude and very slow. They refused to do my nails how I wanted them done. After they finished my nails 2.5 to 3 hours later. They were terrible. I did not want to cause a scene. So I paid them and left. Then when I got home I called them and asked them if they could reimburse me or let me come in for a re-do of my nails. They were rude on the phone and I told them that’s why I did not say any thing more to them while I paid. But I convinced the lady and she gave me 3 days to come back to get them redone. I went back 2 days later and they were rude taking pictures and telling me what I should and should not get. They harassed me and asked me how much I paid for my nails and told me I was only going to get that amount of a job done nothing more. I felt so uncomfortable that I asked for a refund and just left. I would never, ever recommend this place to my worst enemy. I pray they handle situations like this better with others.

Team LP I am loyal to Bonsoir Nails because I have been going to them for about 18 years and Tina and Susan are the ONLY people I trust with my eyebrows. They have downsized and moved locations, but I still get the same comfy massage chair and attentive, careful service. They take pride in their work and will go to great lengths to make sure you are happy.

Lila Unfriendly service!! Three of us went to get basic manis and try the place out. Two of us ended up upgrading to gel manis because they “normally only do designs for gel mani.” So ok fine - we went along with it. My sister, who stuck with the basic mani was done with her “manicure” in less than 20 min. The polish was put on sloppily and the color was so thin on her nail you can see right through. Not at all worth going in for a rushed, sloppy manicure - the technician rushed through her service then when and layed on a pedicure chair to browse on her phone for the rest of the time we were there. We noticed they had clients waiting outside for a mani and she didn’t even bother letting them know she was free - she just layed on the chair and watched stuff on her phone; ignored those people. My friend simply asked if her technician had “put alcohol on both hands” and her technician snapped at her - giving her a ridiculous attitude for asking a question. She then proceeded to lean into the technician next to her and say things in their language. She leaned in to say things in their language pretty much any time my friend talked or asked something (and she was asking politely mind you). It was obvious she was talking about her. My nails turned out mediocre - with messy uneven polish on the sides and bottom of my nails. We left feeling jipped out of our money. It was supposed to be a fun day out with the girlies trying to find a new nail spot we might want to start frequenting. But there is NO WAY I want to come back here. The only aspect of this visit I liked is the plaza where the salon is located which is a cute alcove with chain lights above. The store fronts are pretty with a European architectural feel. Seriously don’t come here and waste your hard-heard money. This place is a disgrace.

Savannah Holmes The staff at Nailbox we’re super accommodating and lovely people. Their nail art was gorgeous and just what we requested (even in normal lacquer nail polish). They made my party feel welcome and gave us a lot of time. Thanks so much, will definitely revisit!

I had my nails done the Friday earlier (10/14) and although the technician did a pretty good job, I was being particularly picky since I was having my nails done for my upcoming wedding (10/22). I called to reschedule and was willing to pay to just have it redone and Rainnie did an amazing job and only charged me for the additional overlay / polish. She took such great care of me and I cannot tell you how much I appreciated being taken care of as I prepared for my special day.

Lusine The place is filled with inexperienced "nail technicians" that have no idea what they are doing. Owner has a big attitude problem, as well. Went to get hard gel removed. Not only did they burn my skin by applying a ton of acetone every 5 minutes, but they didnt even take it all off. I also got cut. Avoid coming here. So not worth it, AT ALL. *UPDATE* In response to the rude business owner, I have eczema. You guys initially wanted to put both of my hands in a plastic bag filled with acetone and wrap it in a hot towel. Why would you soak my skin in acetone in the first place? I came for hard gel removal not my skin to be burnt off. Your employee kept sticking my fingers in acetone for over a whole hour, as well. Barely any drilling done which is the most important part of removing hard gel. Take the energy with that attitude of yours and put that in training your employees to do their jobs correctly. Worst salon by far in Pasadena. Maybe even California at that. Also, here are some “lovely” images of what the result was for my “gel removal” - horrible job. Thanks for making me bleed as well.

marcia kostos This business was recently sold. Used to be TK Nails. Tammy was the owner and it was a great salon. Been going there for 25 years. Now has new owner and I won’t go back. English is definitely second language. Had a mani pedi. I was told my bill was $48, I paid, and as I’m walking out the door all the gals are yelling stop…wait…. Then told I owed $10 more dollars. I didn’t bother questioning it as no one would comprehend anyway, so I just paid the extra. Not worth the effort to me.although super convenient, I’ll find somewhere else. The whole salon just isn’t up to par with the former establishment in my opinion.

Amber Waas Its so sad how the quality fell so very far with the new ownership. I have been going here for 20 years, but I have had three bad expierences in a row. One the bruised my face waxing eyebrows, second, my gel pedicure they put regular clear coat on top and had to redo the entire paint job, and sadly yesterday I left in the middle of my pedicure. The woman kept cutting me with the cuticle clippers and it was so painful I had to leave. I have given enough chances. I am now sadly never going back.

Lisowski Liz I could never say enough good things about Summer Beauty, Summer the owner, and my lash tech Lucky. I have been going to Summer beauty for a while. This was after trying 5 different lash places in Pasadena. I have also received other services like a manicure and pedicure from one of the nail techs. From the very beginning Summer has treated me like a family member. Everyone in the salon is welcoming and is very communicative. I currently work as a chef for some of the top restaurants and catering events in LA. I can’t put on mascara because the heat of the stove will melt it away. I also get photographed constantly. Lucky- my lash tech makes me look beautiful while still being able to work hard in the kitchen. One time I even burned my eyelashes off and Summer got me in to have them fixed the very next day. The reason why I went to Summer was because I was experiencing irritation, inconsistent results, and sometimes over the top work at all the other places I went to. This place listens to you. Also- my optometrist said that I had some of the cleanest lashes she’s ever seen and she doesn’t usually condone false eye lashes but mine are the exception. Honestly- I can’t even tell they are there. I don’t trust anyone to do my lashes at this point except Lucky. Summer is also always telling me about new products and was so willing to do my rainbow lashes for my burning man 10 year wedding vow renewal. Lastly- the massages at the end of service are everything- especially for a chef on her feet 10 plus hours a day! Don’t hesitate- Give Summer Beauty a call!

Allison Saviano Im just about at my 1 year anniversary with Summer Beauty - so Im pretty positive that I love them! I had originally planned on lash extensions only for a "special occasion" – but they do such a great job (thank you Helen!) and are so gentle with my lashes that I just keep coming back. I was initially nervous about stressing out my "natural" lashes... but no worries at all, my own lashes are still in great shape. I just feel more fabulous with my lashes from Summer! They know what theyre doing and they stand behind their work. Thank you!

The service was outstanding, people there were all so kind and they did a great job with manicure and pedicure. The place is super clean, nice relaxing music, and they have great parking options - so easy. I used their restroom and it was super clean. Very nice place, Ill definitely continue to go. They are open Monday-Sunday, they only close on Tuesdays.

Athena Garcia-Gunn This shop is adorable! It’s brand new. Everything inside is new. The paint, the chairs, the stations, the products. It’s all chic, and simple and classic. The ladies here have been so sweet, so ready to jump in and take on a challenge. They also have a reward system that gives you a birthday discount and points. Highly recommend! It’s the kind of place that I expect will get very popular soon. I have dropped by twice, both times I was asked if I had an appointment. I think they prefer appointments! But they still took me in and helped me quickly. They also offered me water, and a beverage. They are very hospitable and talented.

She kept the shape of my natural nail. She did not try to pressure me to get more expensive services. And the shop was not overcrowded and did not feel like a farm. The salon was so clean and smelled like a spa, similar to an experience I had in Palm Desert.

Devon Myers This place is fantastic! It’s clean, spacious, and well organized. More importantly, I got the best pedicure - by Chi. And Ann did a beautiful job on my nails. I don’t live close but may have to drive to come here - they are really excellent.

Val This is one of the best nail salons that I have ever been to. I went at 5pm on a Saturday and it wasnt crowded. The location is perfect as it is next to a lot of stores. I was sat down within 5 minutes. I went for a gel pedicure and paid $55 in total which is average for a gel pedicure. The color options they have are so beautiful. Chi did my pedicure and she was so sweet and made my day 1000% better. Will definitely recommend and will be coming back when I am in the area.

Beth Imai I’m so happy I found this gem of a nail salon. The location is easy with a huge parking lot, the inside is clean (looks brand new) with state of the art massage chairs and stations. My nail tech, Zen, was a real sweetheart. She is clearly loved by all the staff and she did a fantastic job on my nails. Thanks again!

GG Sauvage Henry and Hana were amazing! They have impeccable attention to detail and made sure I was happy every step of the way. Great energy, great work, and great prices :) I also love that they open early! I will be back for sure. (I had gel removal on nails and toes, builder gel on nails, get mani & pedi, plus French tip design on nails and all of that was only $95!)

Jazzmine Lind The service and people were great. However, my manicure and pedicure with gel nails did not come out clean. The gel polish has bubbles and the nails are all different lengths. The acrylic came all the way up over some of my cuticles and I paid $61 bucks. I wont go back but they treated me very well. These are 4 days old.

Miriam Nunez-Dominguez I loved my experience here the person who did my nails was very friendly and patient. The wait was very short and there was a good variety of colors to choose from. My acrylics came out exactly like I wanted them to and i will definitely return in the future.

Shelby vazquez Ive been here several times, I tried it at the recommendation of a friend. They truly give 5 star service...spacious, clean, always many nail techs, and they are very attentive. Cat has done my nail twice, although others have done them and I didnt have any issues. Their prices are reasonable and they offer great service, this is my new nail salon.

Jayda Lobban check out Alice if you want great work for a fair price! She takes her time, so be prepared to be in the chair for over an hour. Personally I don’t mind because she’s thorough and a perfectionist. These are my natural nails with hard gel overlay. Cleanest hard gel application I’ve ever had done. I asked for Russian manicure and my cuticles have never looked better. She uses good quality polishes, she’s sweet and takes pride in her work. I’m so happy I found her!

Tanika de Souza I took my husband today to get his first mani pedi EVER! They did an excellent job. He was comfortable and that says a lot. They do serve beverages during your service which was nice. He had the Deluxe package and enjoyed the scrubs and stones. We dont live in this area, but if we did I would return. He did not get any polish, but another lady was getting her nails done and they looked great.

Michelle K Wanted to quickly start with the fact that this nail salon just reopened a few weeks ago under new ownership and is associated with Aria 2 in Pasadena - older reviews from months / years ago are out of date and for the last salon. I’ve been a customer of Aria in Pasadena for some time now, and my favorite nail tech for dip powder manicures, Helen, moved to this location - I’m very picky, and couldn’t let her go, because she’s amazing (side note: I’ve tried a number of salons in the area and couldn’t find someone who could consistently shape and polish my nails like Helen does). I tried out this new location today - it’s super clean and bright, in a great spot in South Pas close to the shops and dining options. They offer drinks and Kelly at the front desk was very welcoming and friendly, as always. Kelly also moved from Aria 2, and I’ve seen her excellent customer service skills in motion firsthand on a number of occasions. She has done my pedicure more than once - she is precise with nail prep, it never feels rushed, and my toes are consistently beautifully painted. The owner was also in the salon today interacting with customers and providing fun snacks. Highly recommend giving this salon a shot - they offer discounts throughout the year, and it’s a hard place to beat when it comes to the quality of service, friendly staff, and overall atmosphere. Note: I’m sharing a few pictures from several manicures with Helen since I can’t figure out how to add a new review for other visits.

Kathleen V Quality service at Pink Nails every time. They keep up with all the new nail trends and designs. My nails still look great and receive compliments 4 weeks after I get them done. They never lift or pop off. The prices are fair and they dont add extra fees for things like filing your nails to a shorter length. Pink Nails is the only place I will go for my nails =)

Renata De Paula Today I called Pink Nails to make an appointment. Five minutes later I received a call from them, it rang once and when I tried to say Hi they hang up. A couple more minutes I received another call and answered the phone. The person asked me if I was a customer ( I couldn’t understand the name she said), when I said I wasn’t, She again hang up the phone on me. She didn’t say sorry for the mistake, she didn’t apologize, didn’t say goodbye, just hung up the phone while I was still talking. I called them back just to try to understand if there was a problem with my appointment. The same person answered the phone. When I asked if there was any problem with my appointment she said no and told me she was trying to contact another customer. Then I told her that next time something like this happened she should at least let me know what was going on because she was hanging up the phone on me while I was talking and guess what? She hanged up the phone again!!! Didn’t said buy or apologize, she deliberately hung up the phone on a customer for the third time!! I called again and asked to talk to the manager and she was extremely rude and she told me she was the manager! At this point she was literally yelling at me and saying that she did apologize which is a lie! I’m a long time customer and I’ve told many friends to go there! I moved out of South Pasadena and I drive from Pasadena just to go there! I’m in disbelief with the lack of professionalism and manners! I can’t believe how rude they have treated a customer! I canceled my appointment and never again I’ll go to Pink Nails and I’ll make sure all of my friends know how they treat their customers!!
