Boredom Kills Any prospering barber do not give your money to these people. None of the teachers own a shop or are actual barbers. Go to Urban390 Instead for an apprenticeship and save yourself 10s of thousands of dollars. Two of the employees had to go on vacation when they tried scamming a poor girl into giving them more money. Go anywhere else but here if you actually care to learn something. These barbers work 9-5s during the day cause they dont have clientele or cant make booth rent. Also dont buy their barber-kit it doesnt come with everything and its all from the dollar store. Good luck on your barbering journey. This place was a waste of time. Learned everything once I got out in the real world. Listen to actual hustlers in this industry. You can make money cutting hair and learn. DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING FROM SOLI SAYING IT GIVES YOU MORE MONEY CAUSE IT DOESNT. MORE DEBT FOR YOU

Dru Pacle Been coming here since the first day they opened! Jeremy has to be one of the best barbers I’ve ever had coming to Hinton. He has great customer service, he always makes sure you get what you asked for and honestly His practically our family barber haha! He cuts me, my nephew (really patient with him, especially being a six year old with adhd) and of course my cousin. He always brings us back to life! Fiona Florence This nail salon updates the trend very quickly. I got organic dipping powder with Kelly. She is the most careful and meticulous nail tech. My nails lasted a long time. Plus, it helps my nails grow healthier and stronger. I got different designs with her each time and my friends always ask where I got my nails done. The experience at the salon is great.

angela Davis Gaia nails provides a great experience. The atmosphere is very relaxing. The staff is friendly, creative and accommodating. I highly recommend this salon for your manicure and pedicure needs. Both-Tammy and Fong are wonderful!

Avankita Violet I visited Gaia Nails for a gel mani/pedi with Tom and Mia. The salon’s staff surprised me with their enthusiastic service. The instruments have been sterilized and stored inside a sterilization pouch, so I felt very safe. The staff is friendly, careful and skillful. It deserves 5 stars. I will come back to this salon soon.

Natasha Curtis Gaia is my go-to place for great pedicures. Today, I added on extra massage time to my pedi and Tom did not disappoint! It was an expert level, deep tissue, circulation repairing, ready to walk 10,000 miles kind of massage. If you are a runner, walker, or spend a lot of time on your feet, ask for the extended massage by Tom.

Nora Reilly Really wanted to like this place because it’s close to where I live and convenient. I get acrylic nails and these were just simply poor quality. I had a nail break in half after two days. They put the acrylic too close to the end of the nail. The tip literally broke off leaving the acrylic portion on my nail. Then a week later I had another nail break in half. I’ve never had acrylics break off where the tip is applied. Sure I’ve had whole nails pop off after weeks of wear but their tips are very thin and not good quality. When I went in to have the nail fixed he didn’t even compare it to the corresponding finger on the other hand and it was longer than all the other nails. Not to mention, he kept stopping my manicure multiple times to answer the phone, write down appointments, and take payments. I also got chrome nails and the polish started to wear off on the tips. It looked terrible after a week. Unfortunately will not go back.

Marie Leonard I originally went in for a pedicure spa day with my bff. I needed a fill but decided to wait and scheduled a separate appt. They were VERY accommodating and friendly, and my first appt was divine, so I felt great about coming back. On my 2nd appt for nails, they once again made me feel welcome and got me in quickly. I requested a Wonder Woman theme for my nails and gave some references I found, and I was soooooo excited with the final product. I cant wait to go back and see what they will create next!

Dainita First time here at this nail salon. Even though I live down the street, it is like a treat when I go to the nail shop. God knows I should treat myself a bit more often. Anywho! This place has been here for some months now. The photos that I seen on Yelp were nice. This place is very clean and tranquil. I went a little over a week ago. Made an appt. Mei (I hope that is spelled right) was very helpful with making it. She would let me know that if there were any cancelations that day she would call me .. but if not, my appt for Sun would stand. With all this going on with the pandemic, I had been leery about going to a nail salon. They made everyone wear a mask. You had to sanitize your hands upon entering. The space there is bright and calm. The employees were all so welcoming and nice! The lady Tina who did my mani/pedi was so sweet! Love her. She took her time with me and she was the only one who did my work. They made sure after each persons pedi they sanitized right away and wiped down. It made you feel confident about whats going on. Basically, this shop is needed to be visited if you are need of this service. However, with our governor shutting the gyms, nail/salons etc down (again!) But doing it for a reason to get people to comply with whats going on maybe the shop would be open. Regardless... when they reopen please give it a try!!

Kimberly Howe I have been going for full pedicures for over a year. Thats where they really scrub and massage the feet. Love this! Recently started going to do gel manicures. Of course I over did the cleaning, decorating and cooking and ended up with a Crack half way across my nail. I didnt want to have that nail be shorter than the rest so they added some Gel builder on my nail to protect it while it grows out. Amazing! They patiently answer all my questions when I ask what theyre doing and always take great care of me.

Diana Cordio I was in the area dog sitting and in dire need of a manicure. Nancy was able to fit me into the schedule as a walk-in and paid close attention to my requests for builder base gel (she also used hot gel aka poly gel for my thumbs since they are extremely bumpy and easier to shape nicely with that) and the rounded square shape I prefer. I was very pleased with the results at a good price as well!

Liann Amagan My go to place that I’ve been going to for years to see Anh for my dipped nail manicure. She does the best job and my nails last over 6 weeks and her pedicures are awesome. The staff are so friendly and I love the massage chairs.

Nargiz Sadigova The price of the service was reasonable, but not exactly affordable. I paid $45 for it. Unfortunately, the woman who did my nails was very rude and disrespectful. When she started working on my nails, I changed my mind about the nail polish and politely asked her to change it. However, her response was quite arrogant, which was not appropriate. As a paying customer, I expect professional and polite service. Moreover, she was multitasking while doing my nails. She was standing and chatting with someone while working on my nails, which was unprofessional. I might consider going back to this salon, but I will make sure to avoid that particular woman in the future.

Daeja I have been going to this nail shop since I was 6 years old, everyone that works there are always super kind and caring about your experience and satisfaction. I have never had anyone mess up my nails/ toes. Kim and Vicky are always the two girls that do my eyebrows, nails, and toes. Although almost every person that works there has done my toes or nails and I never have had a dissatisfaction.

Nordic Bear This location has many individual hairstylist. The one I visit is Retro Modern owned by Ray Anthony. He does full hair and make-up service. He is also a licensed beardsmith.

Jacqueline Vicente I love going to Annie’s. I like that she does by appointment. It ensures I am not waiting a long time like other salons. They are all so kind. Cindy typically does my nails. She does a great job and works quickly. She is always so nice and funny.

Sami Jayne Had an excellent appointment with Annie today. I stopped in while visiting my mom for a simple manicure with gel polish. I also had a small crack in my nail that I wanted help fixing. Annie had the nail repaired and then topped with polish nice and easy. She was fun to chat with and took care to make sure I liked the shape of my nails before moving to the gel stage. I have long natural nails and didnt want anything that would damage them. She suggested a clear pink with some slight sparkle and theyre perfect. The cuticle trim was quick and painless, her tools fresh from the sanitization packet. I also enjoyed the simple massage and lotion after the nails were done curing. All the while one of her other staff took great care of my moms pedicure. We came in with a 1pm appointment and left by 1:45. Originally our appointment was for 2 but Annie had a cancellation and we were able to move up. She was so sweet when she answered the phone for people, doing her best to get them in to the tight schedule and also remembering many of her customers needs and preferences. I was honestly impressed. Ill be back when Im in town again next.

Shanie West I was so impressed with the service that I received. And my nails came out beautiful. They were incredibly friendly. And the next day I broke a nail. Annie fit me right in even though she had someone waiting on her. She asked the lady if it was OK if she took care of us both at the same time, the lady Said it was cool and I got my nail fixed extra quick. And she didnt charge me for it because she said I was just there yesterday. And she wouldnt even take a tip. New customer for life.

Channelle Washington If you are African American or Black I advise you not to go to this salon. I heard one of the employees mention something about “tip” when I walked in as a walk-in client, and when I asked if they could do a shellac manicure and pedicure they advised that they were closed. The time was 5:03pm and their sign on the door says they close at 7:30pm. Not sure if they assumed I would not tip, I barely got inside the salon so not sure how or why they would come to that conclusion. Nonetheless, I don’t do business with people like this. African Americans, go where your business is appreciated and where the service received matches the prices listed. Thanks.

Brittany Gregory Unfortunately, my friend and I did NOT have a good experience or receive a good outcome. We came in for pedicures. My nail tech cut the toe next to my pinky toe and as you can see in the picture the paint is sloppy and she did not even paint the free edge. So now I have a toe with an injury, I am in pain, and I sincerely hope I do not get an infection. For the pedicure polish, that was a complete waste, I will have to remove all the polish and redo the polish myself. I would not recommend this place, please avoid.

Olivia Romrell DO NOT GO HERE!! One of the worst nail experiences I have ever had! Don’t come here if you want designs done on your nails. Me and my sister went here to get our nails done and they didn’t tell us ahead of time that they weren’t able to do the designs that we wanted. If they would have told me that before we started I would have gone somewhere else. Halfway through the moon and star nails the lady told us that she couldn’t do them but we couldn’t walk out because she already put the acrylics on. She didn’t even ask if we wanted a different design she just started doing dots on the finger. The fireworks on the fourth of July nails don’t even look like fireworks either. The whole thing felt very rushed too. Save your money and go somewhere else!!

April Skidmore I am officially done giving this place multiple chances. I made an appt at 9:30 with Tina for Tuesday 9/10. 2 workers finally show up around 9:40, they did my manicure and pedicure. Tina was nowhere in sight.. this happened to be the third time I made an appointment with Tina and either shes not there or shes working on someone else. So what exactly is the point of an appointment? I didnt even do a full pedicure due to my spray tan. I just needed my toes to be painted, I was charged $30 for that.. the polish on some of my fingers looks bumpy, not flat. On Wednesday my one nail already chipped and now today, Thursday, the skin around my nails looks like crap.. These pictures are 2 days after I got them done. I will never be going back again.

Chi Esquire Horrible service/quality! Amy rushed thru my nail service as if there were 100 people waiting; however, I was the only customer there. My nail shape was uneven (which I showed her/asked her to fix several times) and the lumpy polish started chipping the same day! By far the worst nail experience Ive ever had.

T C Took my daughter here to get her nails done, and in mid-session if getting her nails done, the nail tech decided to take a nose-picking break. I couldn’t believe she picked her nose, then grabbed my daughters hand to finish up... AFTER she picked a golden nugget from her nose! Eila Alvarez Went there this morning for a mani pedi for myself and facial wax for my mom. The ladies worked quickly and didn’t detail my nails well. My mom specifically asked them if they did full face wax well and they said yes. The wax burned my moms face and she got a red spot but they still charged her full price for the wax! Not the best customer service or nail service at all.
