Alison Hanna was very experienced, professional, skilled and even stayed late for me (sorry Hanna!) glad I found her, definitely a repeat customer!

Joanna Chan I had one of the most disappointing experiences here on 06/21. It was my first time here and I made an appointment online specifically with Lynn, but when I arrived, she and the other staff were speaking Vietnamese, and another lady ended up helping me instead even though Lynn was available that time. Although I didnt mind this initially, the quality of service I received was unacceptable. The nail shape was inconsistent across all my nails, and there was gel all over my cuticles. The gel was also not spread evenly, making my nails look messy and unprofessional. The lady almost skipped the cuticle cutting step until I pointed it out, and she had to go back to do it. What makes this worse was, the gel started coming off after just 1.5 weeks, whereas it usually lasts me 5 weeks from other salons. On top of all this, it took her almost 2 hours to complete such a poor job. I wont be returning and would not recommend this salon to anyone.

Kira Hartz Ive been coming to this salon for 5 years and love it. Everyone is professional, friendly, and caring. Lots of regular customers here which is always a good sign. They always do an excellent job. The salon is super clean, the owner Vivian ensuring excellent hygiene. Several technicians (Hana, Lynn, Becky) have worked here for years which is a testament to a well-run business. The location is great too - right in downtown Los Altos with lots of shops and restaurants around. I will definitely continue coming here and recommend this place.

Ali Nguyen The best nail salon in the Bay Area! Nini is the acrylic nail artist that only works on Saturday and she does and amazing job every single time. She never fails to make my nail ideas come to life and she has all the patience in the world to perfect them! Relaxing and gorgeous salon with a welcoming ambiance. I couldn’t recommend this place more!

Tina Tang The staff is very nice here. However the nail technicians lack expertise in their technique, especially around shaping the nail and cuticles. So I was left with not very nice looking (crooked, bumpy topcoat) nails. Also they did mani and pedi at the same time which made me feel uncomfortable since I had to contort myself in the chair. It made me feel they were trying to get me out the door and I couldn’t fully enjoy myself.

Kathryn Dixon The Nail Bar Los Altos is my favorite place to get my manicures and pedicures. It’s clean, beautiful and the ladies always do such an amazing job. I usually see Le, and have been a loyal fan of hers for almost 15 years now. I’ve followed Le, Susan, Tee and Gigi to every location they’ve worked. When Gigi opened the Nail Bar, I knew it was going to be fantastic. Gigi has the best customer service and runs her salon like a well oiled machine. Susan took care of my grandmother’s nails up until she passed this year in May, and we are forever grateful to her for going above and beyond at every single visit for my late grandmother. Tee does a great job on nails and is truly the best at massages! I highly recommend coming here! Photos are of a few of the amazing sets Le has done for me this year. The green ones were 3 weeks grown out and still looking excellent at my appoint to switch them up.

Srushti P Nice salon with great customer service. Perfect place for manicure and pedicure. Queenie is my go to Nail technician for any and all types of nail arts. She is perfect and quick with her work. They have many options for services. They have a variety of colors options to choose. The salon is clean and hygienic. You can make an appointment online to avoid rush. Tee did a great job with gel pedicure. She was so careful and efficient with pedicure. Amazing work. Recommend this salon for pedicure. I enjoyed the manicure with dip polish and nail art by Tracy. She was so careful and did the nails with perfection.

Oksana Bazhenova Pros: gorgeous place, crispy clean, polite staff, no reservation needed Cons: bad quality of gel manicure and expensive. I did about 4-5 times gel manicure there, and every time, it got chipped in 3-4 days. (For reference, when i get manicure in another salons, it lasts for two weeks minimum)I love the place, but the quality is average. It cost me $85 ($70+$ 15 tips) ! P.s. the picture was taken a week later, when I wrote a review, but the gel chipped in 3 days

JL B I love the Nail Bar! Everyone is super friendly and professional. They really care about their work, and the atmosphere is posh and very clean. It’s located right off foothill in Loyola corners, very convenient. They have any color you want in any form - gel, powder, Acrylic, dip; and can do many designs! Queennie is my absolute fave! I’ve been going to her every 2 weeks for the past year and her work is always impeccable. She will be doing my nails for my wedding soon also! She’s the best!

Ryan Sun Nancy is really great, she’s the only one I trust to cut my hair after having a bad experience elsewhere (I have long hair fyi). She’s meticulous and makes sure the length and layers are even, even when it’s very busy. Prices are so low and I hope they stay in business a long time so I can come back. (She’s very busy since she manages everything herself with no front desk receptionist, which is probably why prices can be so low, so if you are understanding and patient about that, it’s so worth it and the best place I recommend)

Micah Alon Horrible experience. I came to remove my Gel polish and they refused to give me nail strengthener. The lady who was doing my nails was constantly picking up the phone and wasn’t focused on my nails. She was too aggressive with my cuticles and now I have an infection. Overcharged $30 for poor results.

I have been a devoted client of Jennys for several years and I would not go anywhere else for my mani-pedi services. Jennys nail art is unique and custom tailored to what you want, she has an impeccable sense of aesthetics!

Lindsey Tee Jenii is AMAZING!! I’ve had my dip powder manicure for 3 weeks now and my nails are still PERFECT! Normal growth, and no chipping or lifting at all. I’ve gone to several nail salons over the years and I’ve never made it 3 weeks without having at least one or two nails lifting. I also love that Jenii’s dip manicures don’t use UV light (many salons still use UV light for the top coating of dips). My skin is very sensitive and gets easily irritated and itchy from the UV light machines, so I’m grateful Jenii doesn’t use that. So excited to come back soon! I don’t even live near Mountain View but I’m determined to prioritize a visit to Jenii whenever I can!

Lydell Graham Ive been in the Palo Alto area for a couple of years and Jenni was the first nail technician. She an amazing job and got my nail shape PERFECT (real coffin shape). I tried some other nail salons and disappointment after disappointing, I tracked Jenni down to do my nails again. I have a standing appointment that I refuse to miss. Jenni and her team is amazing.

Irina Kostitsyna I decided to try this place because it has high rating. I got a pedi. The quality of the work is subpar, you can see uneven layers of nail polish. And they made me wait for 20 min even though I had an appointment and came on time. But I have to say that the lady was very gentle when handling cuticles.

Jessica Ferreira Let me start by saying that I absolutely LOVE the design that was done on my nails. It has been really hard for me to find a place that knows how to do designs since my regular lady left to go back home a few years ago. My friend introduced me to this place and I was pleased with the designs done. That being said, I got my nails done last Thursday (2/20/20) and by Tuesday 2 had already broke off. Today is thursday (2/27/20) and I have 6 nails total missing. If you are a person that likes to get your nails done once every few days then by all means this is totally the place to go. I, however, like to enjoy my designs for a couple weeks and I am very upset that I dont have the opportunity to do that now. This will not be my first choice in salons nor would it probably be an option at all for me anymore.

Marjory Ruiz I went to Kendras last week for a standard mani-pedi. I called ahead on the same day and made an appointment. The staff were extremely friendly, both on the call and in person, and my pedicure has held up great, which is why I am giving this place 3 stars. I am greatly disappointed about the quality of the manicure in particular. One person started my manicure, and as soon as another customer came, this person left to attend the new customer. Normally this would not be a problem, but the first person failed to communicate with the second person who did my manicure, and as a result, the cuticles on my left hand were left untouched. Additionally, the manicurist left a huge unpainted gap between the base of most of my nails and the base of the polish, and sloppily layered on the different coats of polish (see photos). Exactly 1 week after the manicure, I took new photos of my nails, showing how while the tip of my nails still look nice, the base, especially on my right index finger looks atrocious. I suspect that had I gotten gel polish, they would have taken more of a care with the look of the finished product. Anyway, if you are getting a normal mani-pedi, please do not come here!

Kelsea Brittain I really wanted to love this salon. Everyone was very friendly, Kendra was kind and spoke to all the customers. However, my gel manicure and regular pedicure were very messy, a couple of my fingers have cuts from the cuticle cutter, other nails look like they did not even get the cuticles trimmed. There are bumps and visible debris under the top coat of gel. The nail tech I had did not completely take off my previous gel manicure and just painted over it, causing it to look uneven. Unfortunately, my gel manicure is already chipped after less than a week as well. The friendliness of the salon would have me consider giving them a second try but I’m definitely disappointed!

Emma Moslander I have gone to 4 other nail spas in Menlo Park and none of them are as great as Kendra’s Spa! I always used gel on my fingernails and couldn’t grow my nails out past my fingertip. Kendra recommend that I change from gel to powder-dip and both times that she’s done them, I have been super satisfied with the outcome. I am very, very rough on my hands and my nails lasted 3.5 weeks! Her nail spa is now my ONLY go-to nail place in Menlo Park - went today with my mom and sister! She did my request for an ombre Christmas nails and LOVE it! The cost to get a powder-dip is $70.00 - $60 for the job + a $10 tip! I would recommend 1000%! ❤️

Emma Krasovich Amazing gel manicure! Been to other nail salons in Menlo Park, but this was my favorite experience yet. Massy Safai Outstanding and very professional staff. Exceptional in terms of quality of service and cleanliness of the salon. I have been doing my nails and eye brows with Annie, the manicure and pedicure are excellent. She is always suggesting new colors, new treatments and so thorough with every service. She does an amazing job with the eye bro waxing and other waxing services. The salon is quiet and relaxing. I can easily say it is the best salon in Palo Alto or mid peninsula. Kudos to the staff and the management!

Judit Pacheco I’m giving them at least 2 stars because their customer service was above and beyond. Super sweet and the place is beautiful. Unfortunately I was unhappy with the quality of work and the fees. I got charged extra because my nails were “long” when I had asked for short….there’s lint stuck on my nails and she kept wiping it and re painting them. I didn’t say anything because it took almost 3 hrs for a simple set and I was not going to stay longer. Way over priced also, for a gel pedicure and this set I got shown in the picture.

Kristy Tong Lily is super talented and did a fantastic job on my wedding nails. Love how she hand painted all the flower details and made sure my nails would last until my wedding. I was super impressed how great they still look over a month. That had never happened before since I have very oily nails and would normally last only a week or two at most. Highly recommend her!

chavi coy absolutely love it here. being on campus at stanford i’ve been to a good amount of places nearby, but this is my favorite. i came by twice in the same week!! everyone there is incredibly sweet and great at what they do. would recommend to everyone! mimi does great eyebrows and hair! i’m someone that is loyal to a salon once i find my holy grail, and this is it.

Sophie Ormond Mangosteen is an absolute gem! I received one of the prettiest and cleanest dip manicures Ive ever had, even after calling in for a last-minute appointment. The nail technicians are friendly and warm, the energy is very calming, and the space is impeccably clean. I am so excited for my next appointment.

Sabina A I did powder nail extensions with ombre design with a spa pedicure at this salon. In total it took 2hours - in the end it looked really good - lots of compliments. Powder extension and ombre turned out to be complicated but Truc handled it so well. She’s is a real professional. Spa pedicure was amazing too - clean fast and good color. my only complaint is that while we were discussing and doing the nail extensions i didn’t get to enjoy foot massage . Perhaps next time I’ll ask to stop the mani for 5 min for it. A week later - still looks good. Free flip flop for multiple use is also TOP! Looks like I’m a regular here .

Julie Daniels Beautiful salon, neat clean and specious with highly trained staff. I’m super picky and difficult with my nails so trust me when I say- this is the best salon in the bay. Personally I recommend Tiffany who is probably the best nail professional I’ve ever met. She did a phenomenal job time after time when I came in with disastrous nails after being away for a while. She is the best!

Marci Breitling Baby Bamboo and Tiffany made me feel like a queen! I had a spa manicure and spa pedicure. It was fantastic. Tiffany did my massage and baby bamboo did the rest. My hands and feet were in terrible condition and now they are perfect. My feet are smooth like a baby’s bottom. I highly recommend going.

Truth Integrity The Nail Bar is an absolute gold mine! If you go here, expect nothing but the best. Leo did the most flawless acrylic nails for my mom, Judy—she absolutely loved the shape. She had been searching high and low for a great nail tech, and Leo is hands down the best she has ever had. Kim worked magic on my cat-eye nails, creating the best design I’ve ever had. Her attention to detail and precision with the magnet placement were outstanding. And let’s not forget the other Kim, who did my pedicure—she was so cute, spunky, and incredibly efficient! This is easily one of the best nail bars in the entire Bay Area. I’m beyond pleased with the service and can’t wait to return!

S I went to the nail bar yesterday6-4-24. I thought it would be convenient for me since I live in Mountain View. They took me in right away but they did a horrible job. I don’t know her name she seem to be in a hurry. My nails are different sizes and my thumb looks like it has a buildup of powder that she put on there for the gel so it’s all lopsided, as I walk to my car it seemed wrong but I thought maybe when it dries it’ll be better? Well I’m wrong it’s already dry when you walk out the door this morning I noticed it looks horrible. Cost me $65. I usually go to diamond nails in San Jose. They charge 40 for a much better job. I will not go back to the nail bar. They weren’t very friendly either.

An Nguyen A summary of my past two visits: During my first visit, my nail artist refused to use the color polish I requested and attempted to paint my nails using an entirely different color twice. Each time, I had to point out that she wasnt using the requested color and each time she would try to convince me she had brought what I had asked for. This seemed like an odd thing to lie about because the bottles are clearly labeled and I had to point out that the label did not match what I had requested. During my second visit, I had requested a French manicure using regular varnish. Only after I was in the middle of the service, did they say that a French manicure with regular varnish wasnt possible. Im not sure if the artist simply didnt know how to do a French manicure or if she was upset I didnt choose a more expensive service. Either way, I was refused the French manicure I originally requested and had to settle for my nails to simply be painted. When visiting a nail salon, I would hope that the artists will honor my requests but it seems this place isnt interested in that. Edit: This business has replied to my review to confirm if I am writing about the correct salon. I did indeed visit this salon in the two visits I described. I would not have credit card information on file because I paid in cash.

Jacqueline Cruda Nail Bar is the only nail salon I will go to and it’s because of the great customer service and quality of work. I’ve been coming here for 4 years. Hanah helped me grow my natural nails with routine acrylic fills after previously having a bad nail biting habit. Now, my nails are strong and growing quickly! She is also great at special designs (see pictures). Waxing services were efficient and painless :) Everyone on their team is so friendly, helpful, & good at what they do. My husband has been coming with me for pedicures and they treat him so well also, he loves it! Pedicures are relaxing and they have a good amount of space/chairs to accommodate big parties - our favorite nail techs are Donna and Jenny! I recommend checking this place out.

Cora Poe I’ve been going here for a while at the suggestion of my roommate, who originally was going to their other location and swapped when we moved in together. I’ve seen several artists at the salon, and they’re always clean, courteous and professional. One gal in particular who does pedicures, who I can’t remember the name of right now (more seasoned, shorter wavy hair, glasses), is always such a hoot and so joyful and positive every time. She’s my favorite person to have for pedicures, or even to have nearby for pedicures because she’s so much fun to listen to with other customers as well. As soon as I remember/am reminded of her name I’ll edit my review so I can include it… Today is my first time reviewing because it was my first time getting dip powder nails, and Emily did such a fantastic job that I had to share! I wanted a neutral toned nail with an accent nail that went from the neutral to a bright turquoise, all done in matte, and Emily delivered. My toes are all the same matte turquoise in gel polish (I did not catch my pedicure artist’s name this time around), and overall the sand and sea vibes are excellent. I am including in my review photos from last month’s manicure, featuring a fun pride month design that I wore for the whole month of June. Lighting is terrible because that one wasn’t staged, but the point is that I love going here because these friends will deliver on basically anything you ask for from them.

Zheng花爷 This is my third time to come to this shop for manicure. In fact, every time they are very attentive and considerate, but this time the manicurist who served me really made me like her so much. She patiently helped me choose the color. This color was my first time trying to do it. At first I thought it might fail again, but after it was done, I was very surprised. The overall effect was really good, including the nail shape. Yi Y I had a great experience at Nail Paint in Los Altos! Two weeks ago, I went to another salon, but my nails broke quickly. A friend recommended this place, and I was lucky to get an appointment the next day. The nail technician was amazing, she took her time, rebuilt and reshaped my nails, and made sure I was happy with the shape and color every step of the way. My nails look perfect now. Highly recommend!

Yiwen Mu I first brought my daughter here for a manicure as an end of school year gift. I loved the cat eye style, so I came back for myself last week. I told Reika I wanted something special to go with the blue cat eye base. She did these ocean themed nails which are sooooo cute!! I can’t stop staring at my nails these days lol.

Xixi Wang I recently got lash extensions for the first time and I am obsessed! Jessie recommended me one style and did an amazing job! The lashes look so natural and full, and theyve been really easy to care for and lasted about 3-4 weeks! I would definitely recommend getting lash extensions if youre looking for a way to boost your confidence and save some makeup time everyday. I also highly recommend this place!

Maria I been coming here for lash extensions their cute and stuff side note: I only come when my lash tech is not available I come here! I did let go and pay less then $200 it was reasonable to pay for the work they do BUT NOW they asking $200 and little more for volume when they don’t look like volume it looks more like Hybrid just if you lady’s compare their work with hybrid and volume they really look the same to me just as you can see they don’t post a lot of pictures of lashes due to they all look the same theirs not difference of the lash extension styles THEY can tell you its volume and reality it isn’t I been getting my lash extensions for couple years and I can tell the difference of a volume and Hybrid they don’t do volume don’t let them scam you don’t pay that much money for a service and for them ending up doing what they want with you and same for Russia lash extensions styles I won’t pay that much money for volume when it looks like hybrid

Rebecca 88 The lashes are beautiful & I have recieved a lot of compliments on them from everyone in my family and even from strangers. Ive been told that this is one of the best places to get your lashes done. And if you ever have a problem, the customer service is good and will help you with any of your concerns or questions. The lashes look beautiful without any make up on and last a long time if you take care of them properly. Ive had these on for 9 days so far and they still look extremely full, thick and long.

Molly Nguyen This nail salon is absolutely wonderful! The place is impeccably clean, and the staff conducts themselves in a highly professional manner. The service was especially great for my little girls—they were treated like princesses. The technicians were patient, friendly, and made the experience fun for them. Tan Nguyen Currently, i experienced Lynas beauty Salon for their Head Spa treatment service, and it was absolutely good experience. Impression part is the soothing massage and premium scalp care left me feeling completely rejuvenated. The salon is perfectly clean and the atmosphere is totally comfortable, wonderfully relaxing. The staff are professional skill and friendly, that make me have the experience really enjoyable. I will return in the future for their services. Highly recommend.

Maria Filsinger Interrante Have lived in the area for a while and was looking for a new nail salon - found Sky Nails based on their reviews and have had a wonderful experience! The first gel manicure I got for a vacation lasted a full 3 weeks, and when I got the gel removed there they were careful not to file down my natural nails, leaving my nails looking healthy and smooth. Prices are competitive for the area and the shop is cozy, the people working there are kind and efficient - I would absolutely recommend it.

Megan Davis I just left this business. I went in asking for my gel builder to be removed, leaving my natural nail intact underneath. My nails are naturally long, and in great condition under the gel builder, at least they were. The lady who removed the gel fully ruined my natural nails. She paid no attention to the fact she filed way too much on one side of my nails, leaving half my nails extremely thin (some now missing half the length) and the other half with gel clearly missed. She kept asking if I wanted a manicure, in an attempt I’m sure to hide/correct her botched execution while no doubt to up charge me, so I said no thank you, multiple times. Now I’m not a nail technician, but I am a licensed cosmetologist. Even with my limited experience with nails (during school) I could have provided better care for someone’s natural nails. I gave 2 stars for the fact that this place could very well provide nice manicure/ pedicures. However I will never know because I will never return to an establishment that displayed such a lack of care and judgement in a service. If you lack the ability to pay attention to the fact you are over filing my natural nail, and lack the common sense to stop filing in that spot, why in the world would I let you perform any other service on my nails? If I trusted my non-dominant hand with an electric file, I’d buy one and I would have done it myself. Prime example why I stay away from places like this. It’s a rushed job with no attention to detail.

Star Sandoval Now we speak in a different language while Im getting my nails done. Also I dont like my feet being worked on by anyone except for myself so I only come in for my nails to get done. The gentleman at the front is very inaccurate at appointment times but I still come in whenever he asked me to. I had the owner work on my nails twice already. Shes a humble sweet woman. But her work is pricey. I kept my real nails and she added fingernail tips and a really nice color. The second time around I decided to go with pink at the top and white for the fingertips because it is breast Cancer month.

Candy I had asked to remove my nails, however they did a bad job. My nails were shaved down past the natural amount and very rough. My skin was also very dry after and no care was provided after the nails were removed. As my nails are growing out, I can see and feel the difference in height. Salon was clean though. Coming back to update review a few weeks later- my nails constantly are breaking now and Ill just need to wait for them to grow out or do another set of nails to build them out. Although they started out good, the manager Chung is rude, doesnt honor appointment times, and over time has been behaving more unprofessionally. With so many nail salons in the area, there are so many other good choices, than to waste time with a place doesnt value loyal return customers and management behaves poorly.

Jenny Chan Terrible Experience at Hygia Nail Spa I recently visited Hygia Nail Spa for a manicure, and I must say it was a truly disappointing experience. I had heard good things about this salon, but my visit left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. Here are the reasons why I would not recommend this place to anyone: 1. No Hospitality: To begin with, I was shocked that they didnt offer me even a glass of water during my appointment. Its a basic courtesy that most salons provide, and the lack of this small gesture made me feel unwelcome from the start. 2. Rough and Aggressive: The technician assigned to me was exceptionally rough and aggressive. Instead of providing a relaxing and pleasant experience, she displayed a complete lack of care and seemed more interested in rushing through the process. Her rough handling was uncomfortable and unnecessary. 3. Failure to Follow Instructions: Despite clearly communicating my desired nail design and guiding the technician throughout the appointment, the end result was a complete disappointment. My nails looked nothing like what I had shown her, and it was evident that she did not pay attention to my preferences. It was frustrating to have my requests disregarded, especially when I was actively providing guidance throughout. 4. Unprofessional Attitude: Throughout the appointment, the technician displayed a terrible attitude. She would get mad over the smallest things and made me feel like I was a burden. Its unprofessional to treat customers with annoyance and make them feel like their requests are a nuisance. 5. Poor Quality Work: The quality of the manicure was abysmal. I have uneven streaks of paint, uneven lengths and shapes, and even cuts on my cuticles. It is clear that the technician lacked the necessary skill and attention to detail to deliver a satisfactory result. Overall, my experience at Hygia Nail Spa was far from enjoyable. The lack of hospitality, rough handling, failure to follow instructions, unprofessional attitude, and poor quality of work all contribute to my negative review. I strongly advise others to consider alternative nail salons that prioritize customer satisfaction and provide a more pleasant experience.

Yuki Huang My mom and I have been coming to Hygia for a few years now and the service has always been exceptional. We usually always get the basic manicure and the deluxe pedicure and they always take care of us so well! All the nail techs are so sweet and give great attention to detail from start to finish. Also, pricing is very reasonable for this area! Even at times when I’ve been clumsy and messed up my polish while it was drying, they’ve been super attentive in offering to fix it right away. You can just tell that they care about their customers and how well of a device they’re providing. Would definitely recommend going if you haven’t already!

Prudence Jimenez Everybody from Kitchen Nail Bar come here instead! I come here every two weeks and it’s a beautiful salon. They take time perfecting each nail and they even have builder gel! Their prices are very good considering it’s in Palo Alto/Menlo Park. Everything is clean and sanitized and I can tell that they care about each customer.

Brittany Caine I received a gift certificate for Christmas, so we came to use it! Unless you have a fully paid for experience - and honestly really, not even then - I can’t recommend. Pros: we were seated right when we arrived! I love the color of my toes! Everything else: my pedicurist didn’t say a word to me - not in a “she wouldn’t chat with me the whole time” way but in a “made me feel like an inconvenience” way. She also wrecked my toes, pulling the skin off of one so it bled and digging into the cuticle so deeply on my big toe that it’s now swollen and painful and covered in antibiotic cream. My mom had a manicure in addition to her pedicure and was charged $25 for a massage-less, clear-polish-only manicure where the manicurist didn’t even clean under her nails! Not a great look for the salon to have clients walking out with dirt under their nails. At the end, both technicians vanished, leaving a third tech (who was working with another client!) to ring us up. Very awkward, very uncomfortable.

Jennifer Solano When I got here I asked one of the nail technicians which of the two would be easiest for her she quickly said the cherry ones so she proceeded to prep my nails. After prepping my nails harshly I asked if they had a selection of acrylic powders she ignored the question and tried to make small talk. Long story short she charged me $50 but didn’t listen to me on the shape or color I wanted.

Alejandra Valle This place is disgusting! I went in to get a pedicure and the lady doing the pedicure just walked to the back to RINSE/WASH ALL THE USED TOOLS SHE USED WITH THE PERSON BEFORE ME!!!!! They literally just wash the tools, not too clean the pedicure area was dirty they dont clean after there done doing a service. I was too embarrassed to even get up and leave haha. Now I feel I have an ingrown. My toes are still in pain. They cut my toe nail way to short, it hurts really bad. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK! AND I DEFINITELY DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

The massages are too quick and the prices have been known to be extremely high... More quality for what we pay for would be more ideal... Also, the massage chairs are old. Char P. A colleague and I had decided to get our nails done on a really cold Sunday; it was last minute, but we were able to reserve an appointment on their online service platform. It was fairly easy. I had gotten a regular mani and a Trendy pedi; my massage was not as satisfying as I had expected it to be. They had also run out of the neon color I wanted so I had to choose a different one. The staff were really nice even though they were really busy. I do like how my nails had turned out. They had a lot of color options, and Im okay with my service.

Niki I have come to this place multiple times over the years, but my recent visit has made me decide not to come back to this business unfortunately. I found a significant discrepancy between what was listed on their website and what they charged me despite me pointing this out. For example, I was charged $15 for a paraffin treatment that is listed for $10 on their website. Furthermore, I requested an express pedicure that based on their website includes a 5 mins massage, aromatic mineral soak, and stimulating hot towels none of which i received. When I pointed this out, I was told their menu has changed and shown a pamphlet different than what is on the website. When I pointed out that the printed pamphlet she was showing me still included the mineral soak, she told me they have stopped using the soak since it’s bad for your skin :))

Psomí If i could give 0 stars I would. I went in to get an acrylic set taken off and am horrified at the state of my nails. I paid 20$ for them to damage my nail beds. My poor nails would be in better condition if I had bitten them off.

Susan Hough This is what my nails looked like after my manicure. My nails needed to be trimmed but were long enough that they did not need to be cut to the quick like this. (The first nail was cut too short so I figured I would have to live with them all being short, but the rest were even shorter than the first.) I came in around 5pm so there should have been plenty of time, but they mostly seemed interested in closing shop early. More to be said, but Ill stop there.

Harlan Blumenthal I was in desperate need of a manicure and stopped in to see Lien, the owner, on a recommendation. Not only was she professional and attentive, but she was also fun to talk to and made me laugh several times. She took her time, massaged my hands, and gave me a nice buff and clear coat, and the pricing was very reasonable. I recommend you patronize her establishment. If Im in the area again, I will be back.

Jessica Erickson I first read about Nail Bar Too in the Town Crier and after reading about the owner, Lien, I decided to give it a try. Their team is A+! Great options at different price points, very gentle, and a lovely manicure/pedicure. All their chairs are new and those include many massage options that add to the overall relaxation. After being so impressed the first time, now I’ve been three times and now it is my go to place!

Mary Moran I took my daughter for a full set Almond shaped hoping it was a good fit since its a local business. Horrible job! A full set in under 30 minutes is unheard of so when she called to say she was all done I was shocked. I saw mixed reviews and thought it give it a fair shot and was very disappointed and regret it. The shaping was sloppy, uneven, acrylic edges where not cleaned up. The rushed through the entire service. If you are coming here to pamper yourself for some self care, please avoid at all costs. Id give 0 stars if possible but I guess the only plus side was she is cheap. Wow. I cannot believe how she allowed a paying customer to walk out of her establishment with the that horrible job. My daughters words. Speechless. Needless to say we will not be EVER coming back.

Kelly Scirpo I just went to this nail spa and they offered me three different types of pedicure fragrances . Just thought I was getting a regular gel manicure and it was $80. I will never go back with tip $96 total. they’re not forthcoming with their prices and their add-ons! So mad I didn’t ask.

Angela Bazigos I used to go to this spa because of Hannah, the good prices, the fact that they accepted credit / debit cards and the fact that the salon identified as women owned. In the last month or so there have been many unpleasant changes: Hannah is no longer there, the prices went from $80 to $100 for gel mani-pedi, credit / debit cards are not accepted and the new owner is male. The new owner seems to bully his clients into accepting a particular nail color (possibly based on his supply) and he pushed really hard for me to accept a dip color, instead of gel, at my last appointment. I did not like the dip because it took much longer than the gel. To that, the owner threw the tech under the bus, stating that it was her fault for being too careful! I did not appreciate that. Finally, the reason the new owner stated for the dip, was that the color lasts longer than the gel. I have lost the nail color from 3 of my nails already, which would not have happened with the gel. So gave me incorrect information as well. Anyway, I no longer like the atmosphere so will not go back there

Roxana Raissi The places manager (Tammy) is extremely rude and unpleasant. She has acted rude to me before on different occasions, but I always chalked it up to her having a bad day. However, my experience today was a particularly troubling one. Her rudeness began on the phone when I called to make an appointment. She was rushing me through the phone call and saying that she can not talk. When I got there after work, despite making an appointment, I had to wait for almost an hour. While waiting, I was asked if I wanted some water or tea, and I said Id like some water since I was thirsty. After 2 hours of being there, I started to feel sleepy, since I was tired from work too, and I asked for tea too. In response to this, Tammy decided to mock me in front of everyone. When it was time to pay, I said Id like to pay for the tea too, but also told her that she should be a little nicer to the customers. She started screaming at me and telling me things like "Do not come back", and "I am rude to the rude people like you." Even though I havent done anything that could be considered rude at all. All I wanted to do was to have a nice relaxing time and get my nails done. I am 58 years old and I have been having my nails done regularly for at least 40 years. I know what needs to be done, and what customer service is like. There is a wonderful girl (Hali) here, who does a great job. But unfortunately, my entire experience was ruined by Tammys rude remarks and attitude, and what I hoped would be a nice relaxing time, turned into a really shocking and upsetting experience. I would caution everyone against going here.

Cindy Knapp This place does such a great job, no matter who I see. My gel routinely lasts 3 weeks or more without lifting! As far as the other comments about the manager, I have never seen her be anything but nice to everyone in the salon. Sometimes they are insanely busy so be sure to call ahead.

Anita Stewart Lam has done my pedicures for several years, and she absolutely excels at her work. The result is lovely nails and smooth feet. Her focused, attentive care keeps my toenails healthy. She clearly has a high standard of excellence. She is very good doing the foot massage. Going here is overall a very relaxing experience.

Erin Sun This place is under new management and the service is decent. They are clean, friendly, fast, no fuzz, getting the job done. Massage chair is awesome! I didnt want to leave after my treatment. The hard working staff definitely deserve a chance to succeed. Will come back again.

Luz Acedo I asked the lady to not file or buff my nails because my nails are really sensitive and she refused to give me service. This is not my first time coming to this salon and I always ask them the same thing and she refused to do them because my acrylics werent going to last if she didnt file and buff them. Even after me telling her that I always get them like that everywhere I go and I have gotten them done like that at this salon. And I repeated to her that I dont care if they dont last that long she still refused to do them and told me to leave. If a costumer is telling you their nails are sensitive or even if they arent sensitive, that they dont want your nails file and buffed that should listen because Im the one paying.

Mel Jasso First visit here and will never go back! Left hand had 3 gel coats and right hand 2 gel coats of nail polish. The lady was nice but could not see my nail bed. She painted parts of my nail and cuticles. I had another lady do my hair and she accidentally dropped the comb on the dirty floor and proceeded to pick up the comb and place the same comb to comb through my hair!

Camille Wray Went to this nail salon in a pinch to get my friend and I’s acrylic fill set done. We had an appointment at 3:30p and wasn’t see until much closer to 4pm. With that being said, after we picked out colors and found out that on top of the $50 for a full set, it’s $5 for a gel color that was never even dried with a UV light. After we sat down to start what we thought would be a relaxing experience, she about files my friends and is nails off with how hard and FAST she was going. She then proceeded to ask about our nails length and when we showed her that we wanted coffin shaped nails that are a little longer than “short” and she immediately stated that it would be $15 up charge to cut less of the fake nail off. So if you’re keeping track, we’re at a total of $70 for each of us. I was about to walk out after I saw what was next... she then put the acrylic powder on our nails in 4 different uneven sections that made my nails looks worse than when I started. All together, I will have to say that this is THE worst experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon. We had such high hopes with it being in THE MIDDLE OF DOWNTOWN PALO ALTO, but I guess not. Save your money and go to San Jose for your nails. Not worth it. While she was nice, it doesn’t make up for quality

lisa hinchman I wish I could put a photo of my nails. I gladly spent $60 expecting my nails to look great for my niece’s wedding. Within 24 hours, three of the nails had broken off, despite that I was only attending social gatherings ( nothing hard on nails). Very disappointed.

Natalie I really enjoyed my experience at Kims Salon (now at 174 University ave). I got my gel nails removed and she and Tammy took time and care doing it. Will be back! The salon is also lovely, with nice wood finishes and is very clean.

You can really tell she takes pride in what she does, gets into those spots you mostly have to tell people to do and most importantly shes quick!
