Alexandra Cosials If I’m spending over $132 for gelX…it is expected to not receive this kind of work. The excuse was that the designs were too difficult, but even the simple flowers were not placed nicely and the line work was absolutely sloppy and the bulkiness and texture of nails was horrible. I spent 2.5 hours there and thinking I went to avoid more stress, as I’m leaving on an extended work trip, I had to then spend extra time at home to do my own nails. Notice the care of a nail technician that couldn’t even put cuticle oil to hydrate my poor skin!

This is the only place I could think of that provides great service always takes into account what you want. Yes, there could be some ladies that just try to push for you to get what they want. But for the most part, if you do voice out your concern, they will accommodate your preference. I did just a regular pedicure ($27) with gel nail colors($15), and I did acrylics-shorts ($50) as you guys can see on the images they came out fantastics!!!!

I have a wide thumb and she was able to accommodate it fairly well considering most salons dont have wide fit sets. She even helped me pick the right colors for the look I wanted. Eva Romito It’s inconsistent, but everyone here is so nice. If you have a good service remember who did your nails! My first time it was lovely, the nails looked and felt incredible. The second visit for a fill my cuticles are raw from aggressive grinding it feels a bit like many small paper cuts and the design I asked for (despite being the same as last time) certainly does not look like it had the same care paid to it.

Stephanie Martin I came on a Thursday afternoon. The atmosphere was quiet and calming. I got the European pedicure, and it was amazing. The nail tech spent her time, and didn’t rush at all. She also used slow movements with her massage… I really appreciated that. I hate when they put salt scrub on and dig into your skin with fast movements. This was a great first time experience!

Emma Wigington I came in looking for a removal with an appointment. Once she (who seemed like the manager) was doing my nails the file was burning and gently let her know that it hurt. She continued to be SO aggressive almost going harder. I kept flinching from the burning to which she stopped and got up and left with all of her stuff. She said she will get someone else with an attitude and I am sitting here waiting for 20 minutes now. Still nobody has came. This is how she left my nails. All I wanted was for her to be more gentle.

Nada y I had a terrible experience at this salon with their Gel X manicure. Within hours, several nails broke. When I went back, they rudely refused to do a new full set and only offered to fix one nail. They also said they wouldnt fix any more breaks or refund my money. The poor quality and rude service were unacceptable. I do not recommend this salon

Nasta S My last few experiences at this salon have been very disappointing. The quality of the service is usually poor and some of the staff are rude and unprofessional. The technician attempted to glue back a broken nail instead of offering a more reliable solution, like using an extension or another proper method. I expressed my concern that the glues nail would likely bran again, but my worries were ignored. As I predicted, the nail broke during my vacation. This experience and a few other prior bad experiences at this salon has left me frustrated and I would not recommend this salon for quality nail care.

Justice Ann Made an appointment 3 weeks ahead of time for a manicure and pedicure. On the day of appointment I had been taking an Uber from my resort and was going to be 10 minutes late. I called to let the owner know and she let me know that ten minutes meant I had to choose between a manicure or pedicure. I understand that I had said 9 am but I can’t believe 10 minutes would make enough of a difference I wouldn’t get what I had wanted. Ended up canceling my appointment all together because I was so disappointed in their overall lack of accommodation.

J I It started out okay. They asked the basic questions of what i want. Once I said no Gel one of the women kept harassing me about it. I told her politely NO multiple times. She made a commitment that my polish wont last the day. This is upsetting because I rarely get my nails done and yes I know how Gel nails work. At this time I did not want them. Please respect the decision of your customer/client wishes. She then rushed through doing my nails. Once done she was like you have cash right ? I said no card. She was even more irritated with me. She put in for her tip with me service without letting me know. They did this also to the other person I was with. We just paid and left. Im sure they have other talent there that have better service but the ones we got were not the ones.

Kristina B I’ve been here for a few times and i can say it’s a hit or miss on whoever services u. It was Eve who i had a great service so far. Foot spa is the one that i normally go back here for. The foot massage is relaxing. Manicure i only tried once and i can say, i dont recommend. Maybe i just hadn’t had the correct person.

L Phoebe They did my nails very quickly less than 15 minutes and the top coat was done so sloppy. It was classic regular nails polish I did for special occasion. I was disappointed the way it looked and air dry no lamps or fan. My nails already started chipping in a few days, not even last a week. I do computer works. not worth at all won’t go back. Wondering where those 5 stars reviews came from. Be honest!!!

I had come here a few times before and it was always rushed so mani never lasted long, didn’t go back for some time because of this until last night because I was in the area & in need. It wasn’t rushed this time but ended with every single cuticle & under nail having skin cut & filed causing bleeding & sores. The shape is horrible, I asked not to change shape at all from existing but it was. Polish is so messy, on my cuticles & left all over my skin. I can’t get fixed right away because my cuticles are so damaged and sore and the polish is up/on cuticles that I need to let them grow out before someone can touch them. I will never return here.

I most recently gave a last shot and got gel x mani on Sunday 6/2, it has been 5 days and 2 nails have popped off within minutes of each other. So disappointing what a waste of 60$

User The person who did my pedicure was Mai and i highly recommend it. I’m only visiting from the east coast and decided to stop by. So.... I’m also a nail tech and find it hard to find a good place who can do it to my liking. I have bad ingrown (not naturally but because others pick at it wrong, it’s pretty deep) and she cut them out sooo gooooood and also kept my nail straight and square. I got the $45 deluxe pedicure with gel polish (so $60 total) and she was efficient and took her time with my pedicure that I kept looking at my watch, wondering how much time has passed. She was gentle with me, super sweet with me and gave different recommendations to restaurants in the area. I did not want paraffin on my feet, so she offered to extend my massage. With the gel polish i chose, i picked a hard color; a creamy nude thats off-white and blushing. She painted on so clean and pretty. It wasnt on my skin. It wasnt streaky. Again, i highly recommend this place. As far as sanitation, i approve! The pedicure stations have disposable liners, she had a lot of sterilized instruments available in packets and she threw the used packet away. The buffer and file she used were thrown away as well, which i appreciate. I watched the manager make her rounds through the salon and wiping down commonly touched areas. So to wrap up my lengthy review, THANK YOU MAI. Thank you Andy and Tammy too for being nice to me.

However, within 3 days, my pointer finger polish fully chipped off and I needed to rush back in to get it fixed before my vacation (they did fix it for free, which was nice). I was pleased when they fixed it, only for my two thumb nails and my other pointer finger polish to chip and peel off days later. It seems like they do not seal the edges of the nails and therefore they chip off within a week of getting them done. It’s not worth the price and I’m disappointed in the lack of longevity with the nails I got here. At other salons I can go up to 6 weeks without chipping but I couldn’t go 1 week without chipping here.

I didn’t feel welcome he would slap my hand rudely to get my attention and even asked if I was from Santa Ana maybe he assumed that since I was Latina in Irvine however that was question that made me feel off . I also was not offered wine I had to ask twice and finally I got offered wine. Definitely not coming back. Gorun Luick Unfriendly, unprofessional, not clean! It was first time being there and never again. I took pictures and posted. They cut 3 of my fingers all bleeding. They don’t know how to make nails. I made them stopped working bloody nails and left the place! Some of the reviews talks about bleeding nails as well so be careful! They still charged me for part of my other service which awful mani and pedicures. See pictures below. I emailed the owner never responded! Not recommended. I emailed after I went to urgent care and Doctor prescribed antibiotics and antibiotic ointment. I sent doctor notes and pictures.Owner never called! Instead they still charged me for the bloody nails! That place should close due to health concerns and safety. Be aware! Less than 1 star.

However, I feel compelled to share my experience with this salon, as I have given them multiple chances to rectify their mistakes, but unfortunately, they have failed to do so. One of the main issues I encountered was the excessive wait time, regardless of whether I had booked an appointment in advance or not. It seemed that they did not value my time at all and were only focused on receiving payment in cash or via Venmo. Furthermore, the quality of their services was inconsistent, depending on sheer luck on any given day. There was no guarantee that I would receive what I had asked for. As evidenced by the attached photos, my gel pedicure and manicure started deteriorating within just a week. I immediately contacted the management to express my disappointment and concern, and they assured me that they would rectify the situation once the nail technician returned from her trip to Vegas. However, when I tried to schedule another appointment, they conveniently avoided fulfilling their promise. To summarize, if you happen to have extra time and money to spare, this salon might not pose a significant issue. However, I personally cannot recommend it based on my experiences and the lack of accountability displayed by their staff. If youre considering a new salon, it may be worth exploring other options that prioritize customer satisfaction and provide consistent and quality services.

Kristina Nafii I had a great experience at Nailtique. It was my first visit and I was lucky to be paired up with Jenny for my pedicure and Pink for my manicure. They both were so kind and respectful with what I asked for as a design. Jenny was very careful when removing my old gel and did an exceptional job with my new color. The massage was great and the facility is clean. If I lived closer I would definitely go back for regular pedicures.

Tiffany did the best job, was patient with me picking all of my colors, and I couldn’t be more obsessed with my manicure. Quyen did my pedicure and also did an amazing job, the foot and leg massage was so relaxing and she corrected the ingrown on my left toenail (feels so much better). I love coming to Divine.

She told me that I was overreacting, that it wouldnt hurt, not to worry, that was already disinfected. She didnt want to understand the problem, never to return. Terrible, careless job.

Heidi Bruniaux After a terrible gel manicure from another salon in Irvine, Jennifer really helped getting my nails back on track. She was extremely delicate on the damaged nails not to hurt me any further. She took her time, advised me to give dip manicure a trial and made sure I was happy with the results. She is a doll! Hailey Hong I had the worst experience today at a nail salon out of all the nail places Ive ever been to. Its located in the mall right in front of my apartment, so I thought Id give it a try and made a reservation in advance. As you know, there are artists at nail salons who are good at what they do and others who arent, so since I wanted nail art, I specifically requested an appointment with someone skilled. Upon arrival, before getting my nails done, I showed them a picture of the design I wanted and explained that if it couldnt be done, Id opt for a simple full-color instead. They assured me they could do the design I brought. However, from the start, there were issues – I prefer a transparent base over pink, but without asking, they started with a pink base. When I mentioned wanting a transparent color, they eventually changed it. For the ombre effect, I showed a photo and confirmed the color, but they put white in the ombre machine without asking, insisting it was what I showed. After showing the photo again, they brought a somewhat similar color. It seemed like they had a limited color range. While doing the ombre, they didnt clean excess polish properly, and I was concerned as the machine sometimes flickered, potentially staining my clothes or skin. They claimed the ombre was finished when, in reality, the color wasnt showing. I asked for more layers, insisting it wasnt matching the color I brought. Eventually, they reapplied it. Then, for the glitter, they didnt have what I brought – the one they applied was gaudy, unlike the subtle sparkle I wanted. When I asked if they could remove just the glitter, they said it wasnt possible, so I opted not to get any nail art. From that moment, they hurriedly finished. They didnt clean the excess polish around my nails, insisted it would go away if I washed my hands, and applied cuticle oil excessively, making it feel like I needed to wipe my hands. Normally, salons use a warm towel and apply hand cream after the nails, but here, none of that happened. When I went to pay at the end, the person who assisted me with the payment had such an awful attitude. I didnt say anything to provoke them; I was just really dissatisfied, so I decided not to go ahead with the nail art. I dont understand why they had to help with the payment in such a rude manner. Even when I said "thank you" as I was leaving, that person didnt say a word, just stared at the card machine.

Kim Rodriguez, CPH, RHIT, ODS I go to both locations but more recently I have really enjoyed Woodbridge. I have Amy do my pedi and she does a fantastic job meeting my needs as a diabetic. Quinn has been doing my nails for over 6 months and I definitely feel like Ive found my local favorite with her! I show her inspo pictures and she makes it happen. The vibe is very calm and relaxing. I never feel like they are in a rush to get me out the door. They make sure Im always comfortable and that I like everything every step of the way. They are super accommodating. Quinn & Amy are the best!

Original post: I really like how Christy does my nails… she’s gentle and the outcome is always nice. She doesn’t grind off my nail harshly like the other techs. My gels last forever until they grow out. Did not enjoy my nails with another male tech. My nail is peeling off day 1. He was aggressive with the nail file, too harsh with the cuticle cutting. Not happy with it. Ended up asking him to give me the file so I can do it myself

B B Horrible service! Do yourself a favor and dont go to this place. The person that did my pedicure was in a rush and didnt bother to file down the existing acrylic from my nails or to buff them out before applying new color even after charging extra for it. She took off after coloring my nails to attend to another customer while I wait for her. She returns after a while to tell me that Im done. I tell her that she forgot to apply top coat. She claimed that she had already applied it. I almost had to raise my voice to convince her otherwise. Never going here again. I had to re do my nails at home because they looked awful.

Yulia Yun The workers are nice but the quality of work is horrible. The polish looks wavy with dips - i could do it myself at home, no top coat, the polish feels spongy/ rubbery - meaning it is a bad quality, they did not clean up under the nails after finishing so it feels that there is something stuck - very annoying. Bad for design. The lady didnt know how to do basic lines and had to call manager. He basically created his own design because he couldnt do the opposite way. Very amateur work.

So why would I drive 50 miles to go to this particular Happy Nails salon in Irvine? 2 words. GREAT SERVICE! I have been coming here for 3 years. They do walk ins and take appointments. One of my favorite girls there is Jackie. But the whole staff is amazing. They have a great selection and offer many services.

Jay Dick z my nails done as a walk in on Saturday 8/24. I double checked with the people at the front and they confirmed that they had time to take a walk in. I asked for short gel-x and simply nail art. I was served very quickly and it seemed like the nail tech was efficient with her work and knew what she was doing. At the "end" she applied cuticle oil, asked me to wash my hands, started to pack up her tools, and asked me to pay. I never got the nail art done. When I got home, I noticed a lot of sloppy work, crooked application, and general mistakes throughout. The photos show this. Im not sure if they were rushed or what, but I definitely do not recommend this salon. +2 stars because I was served quickly and the people at the front were nice.

Cozy Gonzalez Do. Not. Go. Here. Came here with my best friend to get our nails done on 13/25. Hardly anyone was inside and they were accepting walk-ins. Both of us got the exact same service of gel manicures. The service was fast but sloppy. The lady doing my nails cut me pretty sharply with the dremel she was using (I have no idea why she was using that as I had nothing on my nails) and just dunked my nails in cold water and didn’t do anything else. Several hours after and my cut still stings :( And the best part was I paid $55 dollars and my friend paid $33! For what? I have no idea. We got the exact same service with no designs or extra additions. Just color. You guys are terrible!

Pegah A I got my nails done here a week and a half ago. I called ahead of time to ask for the price for regular dip powder with no tip. They quoted me $45 and so I decided to go in. When I went to pay the lady charged me an extra $10 just to take the dip off. Nobody mentioned anything about a dip takeoff charge. I have never ever been to a nail salon that charges you to take the dip off if you’re getting a new dip set done there. The only time I’ve ever seen someone charge you to take it off is if you’re only taking it off and not having dip done again. Nobody mentioned this when I had called and I thought it was really unprofessional that it doesn’t say anything about that on their services information. It’s just bizarre why you would charge me to take it off if I’m getting a new color done there. It only makes sense if I’m taking it off and not getting my nails done again. Why wouldn’t you just put that in your total price instead of making it look cheaper than it really is and then sneaking that cost up on people when they go to pay. Also please just look at the state of my nails after a week and a half. I have never ever had dip done and had it last a week and a half with this many nails chipping. My nails always last at least 3 weeks anywhere else I’ve done dip and rarely ever have any chipping issues. . Absolute worthless job done and a waste of money. I definitely don’t recommend you getting your nails done here.

Manoela Reis Update: Just after this review the nail polish completely peeled out of my nail by itself. I’ve never seen this before in my entire life. I usually don’t do bad reviews, but I’ve been getting my nails done at this place for a bit over 3 years and I’ve seen too much. Nails are not as good, but it was practical and close to home, so I just kept on going there. I overlooked poor service and bad attitude from people there several times. I’ve watched techs laugh at clients, gaslight them and treat them poorly before, but I also chose to ignore it because it was the easiest choice. I was already kind of upset because one of the techs completely destroyed my nails removing gels and blamed me for NOT WANTING TO KEEP THEM, as if having my regular nails was the issue, not her problem. This time, which to me was the last drop, I got my nails done on Tuesday night, I was the last customer out. On Wednesday, I noticed the toenails were poorly painted, but I did not complain. However, on Thursday morning my fingernails were all chipped and the polish was lifting. Within two days of getting my nails done, I called them to see if I could have them repaint the nails and I was told that they would not do it because it could be my fault. I work an office job and I did not do anything harsh, so there’s no explanation besides bad product or application. The person on the phone told me I could only get a guarantee if I got gel, which I had done before with them and it was not only THICK and bad, but also ruined my nails. So I do not recommend and I will not be coming back to this place ever again.

Kimberly Yang Wonderful place for a pedicure. Ive been here three times so far, and the pedicure is a treat. Every time the staff have been so kind and took great care of me. The place is designed beautifully, and the massage chairs are strong. The leg and foot massage feels amazing, the scrub smells like a sweet citrus, they have tons of nail polish colors to choose from, My nails and skin have always turned out lovely. So relaxing! Today I got my lower legs waxed for the first time, and Kimberly did an incredible job putting me at ease. She is always so kind. Thank you!

I have been here before, and she always makes my nails last around 3 to 4 weeks because I actually take care of my nails and don’t do rough things with it. I love how she shaped my nails because it looks very natural. The design is so lovely. She is the nicest, so I will definitely be back!!! I recommend her!!!!

Mabet Hill I got these nails done on Nov 19 and it is now Dec 20. I am very hard on my hands and felt these grew out and lasted well. They are hard gel with a pink and white fade, plus glitter. They were $75 (or $80?) before tip. I give 3/5 on the price and shaping but 5/5 on how they held up. Would return.

Jennifer Thomas Found this little gem in Irvine! Vina truly cares about her employees and clients. She has been doing nails for over 20 years and you can tell she loves what she does. Vina usually works on my fill and acrylic related nail things. My sets always comes out looking natural and lasts me 3 to 4 weeks. Lately Ive been wanting designs and Mia is amazing at designs! I was hesitant with the more intricate ones but it all turned out great. Mia really takes her time to make it look exactly like the inspo photo you show. I always go for the Deluxe pedicure that comes with a a scrub and paraffin wax. Will make you feel like a brand new person haha! Make sure to always call ahead and make your appointments! It does get busy around the afternoon and evenings, but its worth the wait.

Pamela Wu Came in w long nails, told her I wanted it trimmed but still long and coffin. She cut it in half to the point it was so short I don’t know how they could be considered coffin. I pointed out she cut my nails super short she just told me it would break off easily and that’s a damn lie. She sprayed hydrogen peroxide and one of my nails stung cuz she broke the skin. And the final piece was when I was done and left and there was heavy hard clumps under my nails. And I still ripped her $10. Just cat eyes manicure and it took an hour and a half

Charlotte Waddell I had a manicure and pedicure here and seriously it was one of the best ones I have had in socal. All of the girls and guys are super sweet and do such a good job. They also do the best neck and shoulder massages. My lady was so sweet. I ended up loving this nail polish color and she let me keep it. Seriously would recommend this place and will be coming back.

Anon This nail salon is an overpriced disappointment. The cleanliness is questionable at best, making it hard to relax when you’re worried about sanitation. Customer service is a gamble—some nail techs are kind and attentive, while others act like they’re doing you a favor just by showing up. Don’t even think about asking for adjustments like water temperature; you’ll be met with eye rolls and attitude. For the price they charge, I expected a much higher standard of customer service and client appreciation.

Melody Safouri I regularly get my manicure and pedicure done here and love the results. I prefer buffing my nails over gel, and Henry did an excellent job with my manicure. He also gave my hands a fantastic massage, which was incredibly relaxing. My nails look so healthy and shiny now! The salon is always immaculate and takes great care to avoid damaging my nails or toes. I recommend that Ana for gel nails and Henry for massages and buffing. I’m happy to give them a well-deserved five stars!

She is incredibly professional and detail-oriented, and her meticulous attention to every aspect of my nails was outstanding. Even when others stopped by to chat with her, she stayed focused and kept the conversations brief, maintaining her professionalism throughout. Ive honestly rarely had someone put so much effort into making my nails perfect, and I really appreciate her dedication. I’ll definitely be coming back to see her. I was initially hesitant because of the reviews, but Kristine is absolutely fantastic! Highly recommend her.

Cathy Buck I got a 30 minute "foot" massage and asked them to put my own polish on my fingernails. The foot massage was more of a leg massage - which is definitely not what I wanted. And they charged about $15+ to put polish on my nails - no polish removal needed. And it was my polish.

They do offer cheaper gel and other option. If you want premium Japanese gel then you pay the premium price. Make sure you call for appointment they generally pretty busy.

Rucha Tadwalkar My first experience here pre-Covid was great. The woman who gave me a pedicure even gave me tips on how long I should leave my nail polish on. It was the type of service I had never received before, and it turns out, haven’t received again. I have been here a handful of times and it seems to be getting worse each time. The last time, the woman barely gave me a massage although I paid extra for it. Her hands were just resting on my foot, not moving, at one point. She hurt my toe while cleaning so badly that it actually hurt for a couple of days afterwards. She didn’t give me any time to pick out a color in the beginning or let my toenails dry at the end. It all seemed rushed and like she didn’t want to be there. I would say if you like the Happy Nails chain, try another location. That is what I am going to do next time. It’s also interesting to observe the ethnicities of the people giving one star reviews versus five star reviews. See for yourself.

Shes so detailed and thoughtful, she even made her own combo of 2 colors to make the perfect natural pink. Thank you guys for the hospitality and nails!

The place is easy to get to in Irvine. They charge a fair price for wonderful nails. The atmosphere here is luxurious and everyone is super nice and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great set of nails.

R P Im from out of town and needed to get my nails done because I kept picking at my dry cuticles and Cosmo 333 was within one mile from where I was staying. I went on 29October2923 and the place was clean and beautiful. Everyone was very friendly as well as welcoming. I asked for a pedi regular polish and mani French gel and was offered a seltzer water which was nice and refreshing. Two technicians served me at the same time, one for the mani and the other for the pedi. I left there very grateful and happy I had stopped picking at my cuticle so mission accomplished. Just three days ago my French gel nails started peaking at the cuticles and today the polish is actually flaking off. This has happened a couple of times before in all the years that Ive been getting the same mani and pedi but Im not in Cali now and not able to go to the facility to have them correct it but it is quite disappointing to invest into the treatment and to tip $15 to each technician just to have my French gel mani start to peel. Im hoping that they are able to give me a credit for the next time I visit Irvine.

Rebekah Ramponi Just the worst experience. I’ve never written a bad review but as I just paid $90 for my nails and now I’m just sitting in the parking lot crying. Tiffany did my nail she has to soak off my previous acrylic and she keep drilling to the point of pain. Over and over again. For every nail. I said ouch pulled my hand away and told her it hurts but the entire time she continued to drill until I would pull my hand away in pain. She seemed annoyed after she put on the tips that I didn’t know what color I wanted but she never gave me any colors to look at? After picking a color them not having it, picking another color a glitter color. I specific wanted glitter I was getting these nails for a special occasion. Once it was time for glitter she grabbed a chrome color off the shelve and said oh we’re actually doing this color. I’m in shock at this point. I picked color. Then repicked. And now she’s just choosing for me? And personally I hate the Metallica colors I wanted glitter I paid for glitter and left with shiny egg shell colored nails. I told her I didn’t not like the chrome at all I told her I thought the nails shape was perfect but I really hated the color. And she spent the next 10 minutes trying to tell me the color is beautiful. I still tipped her very well. I don’t mean harm by this comment but I just feel clowned on at this point. I should never have to pay that much money and leave this disappointed. I will never be coming here again. When a costumer picks a color…please stick with that color or ASK for a different color. Don’t waste your time coming here.

Georgia Halkia This place is a hit or miss, depending on who is doing your nails. I got a fair job many times here, but I never wrote a review. I do not do my nails often, and usually, I get the basic package, which is not cheap! This time, I went in with a gift certificate worth $100. I had a very special event, so I asked for an experienced technician with gel manicures. To make a long story short, the gel manicure was thick and uneven, and the pedicure was a total mess. I had to ask the lady twice to clean the red polish from my cuticles. There was a dollop of polish on my ring finger, and I did not say anything to see if she would correct it before applying the final coat, and she just left it there. When I said something, she seemed unhappy, and she started to speak Vietnamese to her friend, who was doing my toes. All in all, I dont recommend this place. When you make over $100 with the tip in an hour, be decent enough to provide a service that is worth the cost! Unacceptable. Update: I visited the salon yesterday because I had a last-minute event, and I was able to get in fast. The technician ruined my nails and added thick coats of nail polish to finish fast. One day later, it is coming off. I am done with this place!

Baro Bax Ive been a loyal customer of Happy Nail at Barranca Irvine CA for 4 years and have generally had positive experiences. The salon is clean, welcoming, and the owner, , is always warm and professional. Ive particularly enjoyed my pedicures and manicure, which are consistently well done, and the technicians are friendly and attentive. However, my recent visit for a manicure was quite disappointing due to the behavior of one of the nail technicians (Bet-I might heard her name wrong). She was incredibly rude and unprofessional regarding the tip I provided. Her reaction was uncomfortable and made me feel unwelcome, which is surprising given the otherwise excellent service Ive experienced at this salon. Despite this incident, I want to emphasize that the overall atmosphere and service quality at this location are usually top-notch. The other staff members and the owner make sure that customers leave satisfied. I hope the management addresses this issue so that all clients can continue to enjoy their visits without any negativity.

Rajvee Patel This place is an absolute scam. I called to ask how much they charge for a simple pedicure and the lady lied to me and said it was $35. Then, when I get to the salon, I ask for a pamphlet of all their services and they rush me to my seat and I have to ask again for the pamphlet only to find out that the service is actually $30. The lady doing my pedicure tried acting like she was doing me a favor by "giving me a $5 discount" and "including a 5 minute massage" (even though that was supposed to be a part of the service). These people are very sly and use business tactics to make you feel like youre special, meanwhile theyre literally doing the bare minimum (and you can see right through their facade). Dont even get me started on my actual nails. Horrible job. She literally placed A DOT of paint on one of my toes and you could still see the entire nail on the sides. Terrible place. Dont go. Save your money.
