James Pearson My daughter and I travelled on the first public running of their "new" N type carriages. The Volunteers were friendly and helpful, train set was clean and rode like floating on a cloud. All up a very enjoyable trip. Thanks MTR.

Mark Sharrock Went down with my family to surprise my father with a gift of the Drivers Experience on the the Steam Train. A big thanks to Len and our Fireman Andrew and driver Mark for there great knowledge of the train, its history and guiding us through the whole driving experience. This included driving down to mornington and back first without carriages and then after lunch we repeated the trip with carriages in tow.Big thanks to all the other volunteers on the day for lunch catering(beautiful salad roll and a few hot treats) and for the cups of tea.Your passion throughout was evident amongst all staff. If you love your trains the driver experience is well worth the trip down to do

Jacopo Rangoni Fun activity for the little ones, the return trip goes for about an hour. Once the train gets in Mornington, you can get off the train to see the engine being uncoupled and coupled to the passenger carriages. At Mooroduc train station you can buy a snack and drinks and you can find the toilets.

Marvin Chung Farm with a variety of animals for kids to see. While many attractions start charging kids at age 4, this place starts charging at 2. Tractor ride was fun. Sheepdog show was good and recommended (once a day). But the playground was not too big.

jessica beckman Absolutely loved this place! Took my 2 children (both under 5) and they had the best time. Lots of animals to see, and feed, and so many great playareas for them as well. Also loved the tractor ride. Will 100% be going back again soon! Next time, for the whole day!

Dr. Sadi Vural I really enjoyed the picnic areas and the chance to see llamas, alpacas, and a variety of animals. This isn’t just animal farm—it’s home to a diverse range of creatures, including native Australian kangaroos, wallabies, dingoes, wombats, emus, deer, and even camels! You can even feed a wombat, which was such a unique experience!”

Pravin Charles Vaz Large family friendly animal farm. Mini golf. small maze, plenty of animals to see and feed. Camel was cool to see on the tractor ride. Kids playground has an adventure feel to it as the slide runs though a silo. Great outing for families.

Bob Larkin Well worth a visit, it up a bit of an unsealed road, but a great place for a walk. No dogs allowed, and plenty of good walks. Free entry, but closes at 6pm

Deanne Herten Great place to enjoy a picnic, BBQ, nature walks, fishing or Kayaking. Placeful with plenty of wild life to spot for the eger eyed. Picnic tables, Electric BBQS and toilets available at main parking/picnic area

Xiaoli Jiang Definitely a great place to go outside with families. So big grass area with very clean BBQ equipment and many tables and benches. It is wonderful to walk along the lake. The rippling lake and the rolling mountains will be full of your eyes. No anxious, no annoyance, just peace. Nothing to be worried.

Rajat Sharma This place is good for a family picnic. You can also paddle-boat in the pond. However, it lacks drinking water facilities. Make sure you bring your own water bottles.

Piggy Eatalot Lovely reserve- so peaceful and quiet during the weekend and it’s a lovely short walk for kids. Obviously you need to watch them because there is a lake there and they can easily go into the water. There are plenty of parking around and I can see the toilets available. Haven’t used it so not sure if it’s clean or not. Be aware though there are plenty of potholes on the way there so drive carefully
