Afsaneh Gh Glenfern Valley Bushlands is a peaceful spot for a lovely walk with your dog in the Yarra Ranges. The trails are dog-friendly (on lead) and offer plenty of space for medium to large dogs to explore, with beautiful views and even a creek for a splash on warm days. While it’s a great spot for a stroll, be prepared as there are no bins or water stations, so bring your own supplies, but there are picnic tables and benches to rest along the way. The terrain is mostly well-formed with gentle hills, making it an easy to moderate walk, ideal for a relaxed adventure. Overall, its a great place for a nature-filled outing with your dog, though it could benefit from a few more amenities.

Simon Peeters Excellent park for a walk, some good semi bush tracks and a good steep hill up the middle!
Plenty of birds if you sit and watch for 5 minutes.

Cheong K Nice place for a walk. Plenty of shade, so its not so hot. You can see lots of butterflies. Dogs are allowed as long as they are on a leash. Refer to the map attached for the walking trails. Note that Google will point you to one entrance that has little parking space. Go further down and you will find another access with slightly more parking. There are no toilet facilities available. You will need to go to the Upwey public toilets for that (about 5 mins away).

Thirsty Herb Had a very pleasant walk through here today, around 6km (Explored some side trails) but it has a little of bit of everything. Pretty little Creek running through the Valley, hills to climb, nice flat sections with wide paths and plenty of wildlife. (Watch for Snakes). Bit shout out to "Friends of Glenfern Valley Bushlands" who do a fantastic job of keeping the Reserve clean and tidy.
