maria lynch I used to see Dr Safi years ago and used to be very happy with her. That’s when they were North County something or another. I changed insurance that she didn’t take so I went back to another private female dr. After this dr retired, I really wanted to find dr Safi again since she used to be so nice and pleasant . I did and was thrilled to have her again until I went to see her with my adult daughafter I spent 4 days in the hospital. She was not even aware I had been in the hospital. There were a lot of things I needed to discuss with her about my health; diabetes, high blood pressure etc. she rushed coming in and going out. She was leaving the room and didn’t even told me she was done with me. I was trying to tell her what I needed and she just said to make an appointment. I said but I’m here can u talk to me about everything it’s going on with me ? And she said she only had 20 MINUTES. Can u believe that ? 20 minutes with a primary dr after spending 4 days in the hospital. I’m 63 yrs old female. This happened one more time and yet another time with another dr in the crouch office . This is TrueCare. They are all terrible. They will not give u enough time for you to explain what’s going on , I mean it’s just terrible. I wasn’t going to buy a pair of shoes I NEEDED to speak to my “Dr” about my health which has been really bad. I have left this clinic and their doctors. TERRIBLE .

Nadine Hyde Dr. Phillips is a very kind and understanding doctor. He actually listens to your issues and tries his best to resolve the day of the appointment. Hes been treating my husband for many many years and has solved each medical issue promptly. Dr. Phillips is very confident, caring and compassionate and that is the main reason we continue to keep him as our doctor. His office staff is always helpful and kind and willing to work with you in every aspect. I give him 6 stars out of 5 stars. So if youre looking for a doctor that is not all tied up in paperwork and buries his head in the computer while you are talking, Dr. Phillips is right for you and your family. He listens to his patients very well. Highly recommend him to everyone.

maggie lobue Dr Phillips is a smart, kind, innovative and down to earth physician. He has been my physician for 6 plus years! He listens to the patients needs and is commented to finding solutions to everyday and not so everyday medical issues. Having lupus plus multiple other autoimmune diseases makes my case complex. Dr Phillips is committed and has resolved all my urological issues. We continue to maintain keeping a lot of my medical issues at bay. He works with my other doctors well , to give me the utmost care. You can not find a better urologist. You will not be disappointed in his care or his commitment

Craig Harvey Dr. Phillips is an excellent Urologist and has been instrumental in making sure my health is where it needs to be. I had to be seen by Dr. Phillips a few years ago and needed to be seen again recently. I made sure my insurance referred me back to him. I wouldnt recommend anyone else for his specialty. Great personality and always willing to take the time to answer all of my questions. Could not be happier with having him as my Dr.

Brad Penner Dr. Phillips got me out of one of the most painful conditions I have ever been in. He was considerate and thoughtful and took my feelings into account. He gave me plenty of information and kept me informed going into my procedure and after. His staff were attentive and helpful, and provided an important part of my care. His follow-up plan has me confident I will avoid a recurrence. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Sally Sporrer Dr. Phillips took great care of my disabled brother when he had kidney stones. We couldnt have asked for a more caring and professional health provider. My brother appreciated how comfortable the doctor made him feel while he explained the procedure. That gave my brother lots of confidence in Dr. Phillipss ability for a successful outcome. We have seen Dr. Phillips for other urology concerns and recommend him highly. Going to see Dr. P is an enjoyable experience for my brother as well because they both appreciate each others sense of humor. Thank you Dr. Phillips for all youve done to to keep my brother as healthy as he can be.

Meagan Rose This doctor is directly responsible for the downfall of my mental and physical health. He gaslit me into thinking one of my medications was harming my heart and was pushing adderall on me like crazy. Truly, way too enthusiastic about it. Two months after he took me off my medication, I tried to kill myself, likely because he stopped it cold turkey after four years of being treated successfully and safely. He is extremely uneducated and should not be treating complex patients.

Merry Stambaugh Dr. Burzell is amazing. He is not in a rush to "treat and street", he listens! He is always friendly and makes you feel like he remembers you every time. I dont care if he just looked at my chart 10 seconds before walking in the door and read about me to make it seem like he remembers, that is WAY more than most doctors.

Shukria Homman As a new patient, I tried for 3 weeks to get a call back for an appointment. I am a chronic patient who needs meds, but no calls. I finally called the front desk and still got the answering machine. Finally after 3 weeks I got a call and gave me an appointment in the next 2 weeks. My former pain doctor faxed them all my records but no mercy. I am running out of my meds which my primary doctor cant authorize. I have Complex Regional Pain Syndrome and cannot live without pain meds and I am running out since I have already reduced the recommended dosage and I am on the verge of going to the ER due to severe pain. I have not seen their doctors to make any comments but, from the call experience, I am not sure what to expect. Once I get another call to see the doctor soon, I will revise my comments.

Cheeky Chee I have seen Dr. Owusu for years and he is an amazing doctor. After many medical issues including cancer and non repairable orthopedic problems, I lived a lifetime of pain. I had a limited quality of life and until I saw Dr. Owusu I began to lose hope. He has provided solution after solution and I’ve been able to keep working full time and keep up with my young son. They monitor you closely and recommend cutting edge techniques to help you live the best life possible. Dr. Owusu is both compassionate and highly knowledgeable. He has managed my care through multiple surgeries as well. You don’t have to live your life in pain! Be open to their suggestions, they really try to help you solve long term problems! Thank you!

Terri Jarrett I highly recommend Pacific Pain Medicine Consultants. I suffered a back injury in 2005 and have been a patient at several pain management groups in San Diego. Dr. Jeremy Adler, PA, PhD has treated me for about 5 years. I give a 5 star rating for many reasons. The entire staff are highly professional, knowledgeable and respectful. They have various treatment plans that are well thought out and effective. If you’re willing to work with them in treating your pain you’ll receive twice your effort in return!

eureka uno Today was my first time visiting the express clinic because i needed to get some stitches removed. I was in and out very quickly and the NP Christine was soo kind and exceptional. Will definitely be back in the future. Thank you Christine!

C H Went in for urgent care, the nice worker asked me of my symptoms and told me i should sign into Health Express because they would be able to see me faster as Urgent care wait was almost 3 hours at the time. I waited less than an hour. I was taken care of very well on that side. I liked the nurse, and Physician Assistant that took care of me way better than the Doctor that I had seen on Urgent care side a year ago. Nurse Practitioner Sophia was very caring and thorough. She even gave me a warm blanket to comfort me as lab results took about 15 minutes. I can’t remember the name of the nurse that took my vitals and my tests, but she was kind and caring as well. Thank you Scripps Health Express and staff!! I appreciate you!!!!

Taufiq Habib This is my second visit here. It’s a fairly large facility. It seems to be professionally run. It’s a dash to the larger hospital. The staff is really good and getting it set up and then you obviously have to wait depending on the number of people ahead of you. A Visit could typically last several hours. They have vending machines .

The Waltons I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Scripps Health Express. As a regular patient, I expected better care, but what I received was the complete opposite. I arrived at 7:25 PM—35 minutes before closing—seeking medical attention, only to be told that because they were closing soon, I would have to come back the next day. They didn’t offer any alternatives, didn’t attempt to help, and simply turned me away while I was in pain. Frustrated, I left and called 8-2-8 Urgent Care at 7:50 PM—just 10 minutes before they closed. Unlike Scripps, they didn’t make excuses or prioritize the clock over patient care. Instead, they took my information, explained my insurance options honestly, and welcomed me in. I arrived at 7:50 PM and was walking out with a prescription for antibiotics by 8:20 PM, all because they cared enough to do what Scripps refused to do. Shame on the staff at Scripps who could have done the same thing but chose to do nothing instead. It’s unacceptable for a healthcare facility to dismiss a patient simply because they don’t want to extend a little effort at the end of their shift. If 8-2-8 Urgent Care can provide excellent care right before closing, why can’t Scripps? This experience has made me rethink my trust in Scripps Health Express. If you need urgent care, I strongly recommend skipping Scripps and going straight to 8-2-8 Urgent Care, where they actually put patients first.

Mary Ann Mattingly Dr. Lieu is an absolutely outstanding physician! He listens intently and my favorite thing about him is that he has such a whole body approach. I have learned so much from him! A few years ago, when he first became my doctor, it was to be a temporary situation until a female doctor became available. I’ve always been more comfortable with a woman as my primary doctor. Dr. Lieu makes you feel so comfortable that there’s absolutely nothing I could not discuss with him. There’s no way I’m switching! I feel truly lucky to have him as my doctor!

Modupe Okpeku I had a teledoc appointment. He saw my face, and then he disconnected the virtual call? He then cancelled the appointment, without a legitimate reason? I received a message stating that I would not be billed.

Kaitlyn L. Called into Telehealth Number and was given a call by Binh Lieu and he was extremely dismissive to my concern with some back pain in the kidney area and showed no concern with my current medical history. He asked what my medical history was, but then continued to interrupt me mid explanation and said okay so about this back pain. With no regard to what my actual medical history was. Also, instead of being helpful with what some issues could be with the description of where the pain was not even sure if its in my kidney area or not, he just responds with "okay so why havent you seen your doctor" and I explain I dont have much time during my 80 hour work week between both jobs so this was really my only option because it was flexible. And he once again, dismisses what I have stated and asks again, "okay so why havent you seen your doctor, because I dont know what you want me to do about this" This was probably one of the rudest and most dismissive "doctor" Ive ever had a conversation with. •No Concern to my Medical History being provided •No clarification on what could possibly be happening with the description and symptoms given •Extremely Dismissive •No real concern for patient health concerns If I could give this "Doctor" a 0 star review or report this to someone I would!

Canonizado Alain (al cAnO) Dr. Lieu and Staff are the MOST PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY medical staff! Very thankful to have Dr. Lieu as my doctor. He really does care for his patients and takes the time to listen to your concerns without being dismissive.

MCMA II Dr Lieu has been my parents favorite doctor. Unfortunately he is moving out of mission drive Oceanside and my parents would like to know where is he moving to? They want to follow him.

Luisa Matos She is an amazing Doctor. I miss having her as my Doctor. She quickly responds back to your messages and request. Very worming person and attentive.

Kelley Mayer I’ve been going to Dr Gosalia for about three years. She is the best family practice doctor I’ve ever had. She spends about a hour with me for my annual physicals, her office is very receptive to my requests by phone, their follow up is excellent. Another thing I really like is she is very knowledgeable about preventative measures. I like her so much that I’m hoping she takes Medicare! Here referrals have been prompt and her office gets back to me in an extremely timely fashion. Thank you Dr Gosalia and staff!

Mary Ellen Brooks Dr. Gosalia is excellent. She provides comprehensive care and sound advice, based on accurate diagnoses. Other members of my family have had equally positive experiences with Dr. Gosalia.

Robert Gutierrez Dr. Gosalia is the most awesome dr that I have ever had. She explains clearly, and will even draw pictures so that I understand. She shows true concern for her patience. All the down to her PA who worked very fast to help diagnose my wife when they found a lump in her breast. From time of discovery to diagnosis, which included a mammogram, ultrasound, and biopsy, it only took 13 days. We received a favorable diagnosis, but if it had been bad, we would have known quickly. Highly recommended by our entire family.

Julie Fons Dr Gosalia is knowledgeable, compassionate, and detailed. Shes easy to talk to, asks questions, provides detailed explanations that make understanding your health issues/concerns easy. I never feel rushed. Shell even go as far as drawing pictures to make sure you fully understand the issue. A primary care doctor you can feel good about. The office is efficient and clean.

Dana Wilson Dr. Mac murray actually cares. He doesnt treat you like a name on a chart. He spends time to educate you about what is going on with you and the medications you are taking. Hands down the best caring doctor I have ever had. ❤️

Aliscia Scheinrock I saw Dr. Macmurray back in 2008 till 2010. He was and has been hands down the best of the best. Thank you Dr. Macmurray for seeing me when nobody would and for that i am forever grateful. He is an All Star 5 star class act Doctor.

Diana Rapp Absolute worst healthcare experience with Dr. Macmurray. He doesnt listen to his patients needs, he gives terrible medical advice such as its okay to eat McDonalds everyday as long as you stay under 1800 calories. I went in for a simple referral and left in tears, then waited weeks for his referral and when I received it, the facility he referred me to no longer exists. He doesnt respond to pharmacy requests either. Getting anything taken care of with this "Doctor" is completely impossible. And I know Im not the only one having these issues, I heard other patients with the same complaints in the waiting room. Dont waste your time, find another physician.

Richard Ziegler I have been going to Dr. Macmurray for over 10 years. He is an excellent, knowledgeable, and compassionate Dr. who cares abour his patients. Yes sometimes you will wait longer thats because he takes the time to actually listen to patients. Highly recommend.

Pamela DeRose Been going to him for years and had a really bad experience . Had to see a PA for a flu shot I did not know this and waited almost 2 hours and when I went in she was rude and lyed about my visit. I do not trust vista c clinic so far they have lyed so much about what happened that visit also today they told us that Dr McMurray was no longer at the clinic . Girl was lying and we are trying to find out why. I always made appointments and have waited up to 5 hours. He was gone on family business and left lot of his patients without meds and then would not take care of them or me. He is more concerned about his career than his patients. He so told me and two other people to go out and get things from dealers? This is awfull just because he does not want to give pain meds to them, so vista clinic is lying about people in order to stop any treatment , these people are left with no meds cut off in one day and left to go thru awfull withdraw from what he was Giving them for years. Not professional. Not careing! Then on top of this gets a PA to lie in order to get rid of patients. Not moral. Too bad thought a lot of him before this but do not trust anyone there now. Filing a law suit.

jeff b OMGosh! The rude receptionists name is Maria! And she has driven a possible permanent wedge between me and my doctor of over twelve plus years! Its a longer story than i care to take the time to type out but the gist of it is that she recommended that I find another doctor that i can reach "full time". "FULL TIME??? I didnt know there was such a thing as a part time doctor! So after i had her repeat what she had just said to me...so I could make sure I heard her correctly.. she proceeded to abruptly end the conversation and HUNG UP ON ME! Like i said, I have known Michelle Gonzales for well over a decade and have nothing but rave reviews for her as a doctor AND a good person but this is and has been VERY upsetting to say the least! Dr. Gonzales I sure hope you read these reviews and realize that this woman is not only harmful but detrimental to your practice. And if you DO read this please reach back out to me as this seems to be the only way to get in contact with you without going through your phonelines. Thanks, J.

Suzanne Williams Dr. Gonzalez has been my physician for over fifteen years. We initially came in contact with her after hours one night when my husband came in for an acute pain issue. She was very caring, warm and professional as she treated him that evening. Shortly after that I was able to select her to be my doctor. Over the years of treatments and check ups we have shared many of our life experiences. She really does treat the whole person and has become like family to me. In fact she was the first doctor who I had maternal feelings toward. Its so funny because as Ive grown older many of my doctors have become younger and I view many as my adult children! I highly recommend Dr. Michelle Gonzales.

Miss K Dr. Gonzalez has great reviews but unfortunately she apparently is only working part time now. I had to change primaries because I switched medical groups and chose Dr. Gonzalez because of her reviews. However, the woman who answered the phone was completely rude and unprofessional! I explained to her how I switched medical groups etc., and she starts asking me WHY I switched medical groups like there is some thing nefarious about it. So I went thru the whole unimportant story about how one of my specialists moved further south and it was a long drive for me plus traffic on the way back because of their afternoon hours. Her attitude was still rude, and it was a waste of time because there was no way Id be able to see the doctor in time to get the referrals I needed. If youre not taking new patients then you need to tell the insurance company. Doh. Thanks for wasting both of our time rude receptionist. Wish I couldve stayed with the Perlman clinic. They are definitely five stars!!

Mel Dr. Gonzales is my Dr, and I went in on Monday for a urine sample becuz i felt weird and called becuz she told me to call on Thursday morning that I did. However, the woman who answered the phone was completely rude and unprofessional! And told me "I came in yesterday" which I didnt and I told her " I came in on Monday and Dr Gonzales told me to call Thursday morning" and she put me on hold without saying Anything. Then she picks up again and asks me for my d.o.b and name. She says "you just called" i said " i know, you put me on hold" Her attitude was still rude, and it was a waste of time because there was no way I was going to get my result from the sample and she said the nurse practitioner has to look into it. Which doesnt make sense becuz Dr Gonzales said she sent it to the lab. Thanks for wasting my time rude receptionist. Idk about firing but seems like she needs it.

Dionne Mameshin My primary care physician retired a while ago, and I have been looking for a new one for a while, and I am so happy I found Dr. Gonzales. She is a wonderful doctor as she is a very good listener and terrific at putting everything together. Dr. Gonzales spent a lot of time with me going over all my lab results and explaining everything in detail. Additionally, the office staff are very professional and helpful when you call in. If you need a wonderful primary care physician and you live in North county, I highly recommend Dr. Gonzales!

Madeline Masters Dr. Chronis is the best, amazing, and lovable! She is both personable and professional. She is also very kind, smart, takes her time, truly cares and wants what is best for me and you, she coordinates care, and she follows-up. Dr. Chronis also expresses concern when necessary, she knows how I think and what is wrong with me, she doesn’t give up on me no matter what, and goes above and beyond to help me. She is the best doctor I have ever had and I had a pretty good pediatrician, but Dr. Chronis is better! I have also had doctors who gave up on me, but Dr. Chronis refused to give up on me no matter how difficult I am. Dr. Chronis has the best nurses too! She has great bedside manner. Additionally, she helped me see my purpose during a dark time. Furthermore, Dr. Chronis walked with me through my dark times while most ran away and she helped me see the light. In regard to what you eat, she wants what is best and healthy for you. I saw a comment about how she doesn’t want you to eat foods that are bad for you, but for me she encouraged junk food in moderation. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Chronis!

K H Don’t waste your time. All she does is “recommended lifestyle changes” to find a solution. I had to beg for a cat scan to understand my chronic migraines and ensure I didn’t have something seriously wrong with me. I also had to beg her to do sonograms to understand the pelvic pain I was experiencing which lead to a hysterectomy to remove a large fibroid tumor. Both were after multiple visits and asking her to run tests, begging her to do more. Now post hysterectomy she has not helped or been proactive to support me with post op hormones or my PCOS. All she ever does is recommend a healthy diet and exercise which I already do but she doesn’t listen. She is the absolute worst doctor I have ever had. She is exhausting, you have to advocate for yourself and manage her performance and beg for treatment to get any help or relief. I have given her too many years to try to be a better doctor but there is zero hope for that. She has a 3 star rating online, wished I did my research. She is a waste of time and money.

Sara Hernandez I went to her because my husband and I were interested in starting a family. I have diabetes so I wanted to make sure I was healthy enough to carry a baby. My regular provider recommended her. My blood sugar is just above a normal person but she made me feel awful. I explained to her my meals so she could get an idea of what I eat. My eating habits are average and I avoid anything that is obviously bad for you (candy, sugar, honey, sweets) She did not listen to me at all and automatically assumed that I eat pop tarts and Jamba Juice. She kept repeating that over and over again saying that the solution was to stop eating those things. I am very anxious of my blood sugar and would not dare to eat those but she had engraved in her mind that I must eat that if I’m diabetic. The whole appointment was frustrating and only led to me crying and scared to have children because of her scolding me over video call that I cannot have children if I’m diabetic. Fast forward to now, I saw a real endocrinologist who said I’m perfectly healthy and capable and I’m 5 months pregnant with a healthy baby. I will never forget how this woman made me feel.

Black Sherry (DonnyB) Dr. Chronis is a young, pleasant, very thorough Family Practice physician. I have seen her often for months now, as I am a geriatric patient with many maladies, and she gives me full attention for the entire visit. I highly recommend her for any age.

Dillon James Pediatrics department is awful!!! Dr rupp and Dr. Schleifer will completely waste your time!! Do yourself and kids a favor and find another pediatrician. This place has gone downhill since silverberg stepped back.

Jenny scott Dr.Benjamin schleifer is such an amazing pediatrician. If you want someone that will be very thorough and genuinely cares about your child’s well being I highly suggest him! He is so amazing so easy to talk to and so patient so good with kids and over all great doctor!

Bethany DeStefano Their billing department is completely unfair and unreasonable. They conduct “reviews” and once that’s done they tell you it’s been denied and you’re still responsible for the balance with no way to appeal. They give you no insight as to how the review is completed so it’s your word against the provider (the provider is always going to win). They order tests that aren’t covered by insurance even when you explicitly say you only want what is covered under a general wellness visit by insurance. If you have another in-network option other than Scripps I IMPLORE you to go elsewhere

Rachel Beach Went to see the nurse practitioner 3.5 weeks ago for extreme lower back pain. I could barely walk. I asked her to send in an order for an MRI of my spine and she refused and told me to just ice my back and that it’d get better. She said that if it didn’t get better in 2 weeks then she’d send in a referral for the MRI. It has now been 3.5 weeks, I am STILL in tremendous pain, and she STILL refuses to send in a referral until I go see a different dr at scripps who works in pain management/rehabilitation. Why in the world would I go to a rehabilitation specialist when they won’t be able to figure out what’s wrong without an MRI? Scripps is just trying to get me to spend hundreds more on appointments that will do nothing to help me or my pain. You guys need to be better. Medical professionals are supposed to actually WANT to help people. I’m finding a different doctor.

Deloren Rogue Dr Heifetz was a former doctor of mine until she stopped taking my insurance suddenly. I was turned off by her one day after I caught her rolling her eyes and sighing impatiently while I was trying to decide whether I wanted to try a medication option she proposed. This was shocking and disappointing after she seemed pleasant initially. It’s completely unacceptable to roll your eyes in front of a patient. She also seemed judgmental about a personal issue and did not say anything understanding. I definitely did not feel like she cared. Her true colors came out in that one visit. I am in healthcare so I know insensitive, poor care when I see it.

Paula Prindle I am so sorry to have to leave Dr. Heifetz, but she is no longer in network with my insurance company. Dr. Heifetz saw me through COVID. She called me at home several times to see how I was doing. She listens well and does a pretty thorough physical exam every time you go to see her. I will miss her.

Cindy Wilson If your health is important to you choose a different doctor. I had her for only 1 1/2 years and it became clear to me my health was not her priority.

J M If a doctor repeatedly tells you, "Thats just getting old" instead of following up with tests, its time to find another doctor. After testing with another doctor, it was found I had an undiagnosed ailment for which I finally received the treatment I needed.

Jennifer Victor My doctor Himani Singh is wonderful. She’s supportive, educated and caring. She was the one of the consistent positives during my cancer treatment. Always friendly, informative and willing to listen to me. I had radiation and chemo during my cancer treatment and she always had ideas to help me be more comfortable during a very difficult time. Recently I had another cancer challenge as I was about to move out of the state. Dr. Singh found me a local surgeon, who explained what I needed and was able to recommend a new surgeon in Illinois to continue my treatment. So grateful for her immediate support. I feel Dr. Singh is not only a wonderful doctor but I consider her a friend. I will truly miss her.

Scot Sturtevant By far in a way one of the worst organizations Ive come across in all my years. Im NOT RANTING HERE! Im a former paramedic with 40 years of experience in the healthcare field both as a provider and administrator. A complete lack of follow up and continuity of care. Im diabetic, and since Ive been under their care, my condition just gets worse. Im going to Vista Community Clinic next week. My wife uses them and theyve been stellar in their care, proactive follow up and no matter who she sees, theyre all on top of her condition, test results, etc. Dont play Russian Roulette with your life, take it from me, a seasoned and experienced medical professional, go somewhere else than North County Health Services.

Justin Ambrose Nchs is one set of multiple clinic branchs . And i have been to a few of them and by far have the best services and staff . The staff out front all ways have a smile and are have the best customer services . I went to vista com clinic for ten years and never did anything for me and the VCC office staff is rude and will make u wait especially if you are not a hispanic. Now at NORTH COUNTY HEALTH SERVICES MY NURSE PRACTITIONER IN MY FIRST VISIT CORRECTLY Diagnosed me with type 2 diabetes and severe migraines and started treatment on the first visit . VCC did not or could not figure it out and never treated me . In ten years VCC never found anything wrong with me and the DR s talk down to u to . And NCHS had me figured it out on my first visit...I would recommend NCHS to any body also the clinic are never over crowded and get you in the back fast and Drs spend as much time as they need to with there patients

xim ali I made an appointment at 8:30 , I got here on time . I waited more than an hour to be called in. All they had to do was a Phlebotomy on my daughter . This is not the first time they have made me wait this long. I don’t recommend coming here .

Jo Mader I went to Urgent Care on a Saturday afternoon. The complete staff was extremely helpful and efficient. I received excellent care from Dr Rica Bonomo. My test results were in before I left the facility and my prescription was sent as well. Great service.

Kevin Cooper I went to Scripps Urgent care and was seen by Dr Andrews. I found her care to be exceptional. She listened to my problems, ordered an X-ray and took time to explain what was happening with my injury. As we were talking she noticed I had a cough and checked my portal and saw I had been coughing for over 5 weeks. She ordered a chest X-ray to make sure I didn?t have pneumonia and then sent a script to my pharmacy. I found her to be very thorough and caring. I would highly recommend her.

Terri Eliazar-Stevens Upon moving to So Cal. I had a mammogram at this Scripps in 22. When I left I swore I would never go back for a mammogram there. Bounce forward two years I am recommended to a wonderful Dr there at Jefferson and currently she is my primary. My last visit with her she prompted me for another annual mammogram Although hesitant, I booked anyway thinking I would not get the same tech and well I think I did. Today Sept 5th. She was cold, condescending, no compassion and not even a Thank you for coming in as I walked out. She was quite frankly rude. She really shouldn’t be doing this kind of work. Women come in for various reasons and she well just doesn’t have the knack or empathy for it IMO I will NOT be coming back there for a mammogram. I will however be back to see Dr Han.

Debbie Johnson Had eye lid surgery for Basel cell carcinoma-twice 2023 and 24. The outpatient surgery center is very well run and the staff work together very well. It’s newer and very clean. Really excellent.

Jason Leiseth Scripps Jefferson is a horrible place. Last night I brought my son in at 7pm with a possible broken thumb. Half way through checking in some awful lady said that they will not help or even see my son, Im thinking why they close at 8pm and we arrived 1 hour before they close. There was only 1 or maybe 2 people in the waiting room. They turned away an 11 year old with a possible broken thumb 1 hour before they close and didnt even offer to look at it or try to help out in any way. The worst part is that my son had to stand there in pain while some awful lady talked down to us. Its not just an awful lady at Scripps its that Scripps is an awful place DONT GO THERE! Scripps doesnt even deserve 1 star.

Tilly Radakovich Went urgent care, did not know about health express. The gentleman at the desk suggested I use health express instead of urgent care. It was great. Urgent care wait time was two hours. For health express I waited 15 mins as walk in. I definitely will be using health express in the future.

Roman Vasilenko Absolutely horrible experience! I had an appointment scheduled for the second dose of vaccine on Sunday. On Friday at 4:50 PM (10 min before closure) they called me and told that they dont do shots on Sunday anymore, so my appointment was cancelled. 2 days before! and of course there is no other available slots to get a vaccine until December at Scripps. Then, when I asked to help me to reschedule appointment on reasonable date, the lady just hanged up on me. Seriously? That is how you treat your patients? Absolute disrespect! If you stop doing service on Sunday, you FIRST call your patients to reschedule and THEN cancel appointments, that is how any respectful business would do. Unbelievable! Looking for another facility to transfer my primary doctor and all my future treatments (reposted from a proper account). UPDATED: After my unfortunate experience with Scripps, I was contacted by them and offered an appointment at any day I prefer. They also apologized for the experience I had. I gave them another chance, and so far everything is great. Changing to 4 starts for now (was 1 start), but they are trending up!

melissa gray Words can’t express how disappointed I was with my first visit here altogether. I haven’t seen a dr in 2 years. I’ve been struggling mentally so bad and have struggled with joint pain. I am finally ready to get better and do better for myself. I was excited for my appointment to get on track to feeling better. So I schedule my appointment and I show up. Due to covid they make you wait in your car and fill out a sheet to see if you’re showing signs of covid (which is understandable) I’ve had this cough that Ive had due to vaping and I put that down because I wanted to ask about it. They wouldn’t let me in at first because they thought I had covid. So I had to wait in my car. Then a nurse came to get me and there was an incredibly rude security guard that kept giving me dirty looks. I then entered the office and waited for Dr Italiano. He came in and didn’t introduce himself at all just said “what can I do for you” I told him everything and he seemed like he was in a rush to get me out of his office. I told him about my mental state and he asked me what I wanted to start taking?? Like ok I gave him the name of an antidepressant I was interested in and he said okay and then went over these questions that I had already filled out TWICE in the office. After the questions he said “the lab is downstairs” and then said “is there anything else I can do for you” at this point I was just over the rudeness and lack of concern or help. So I just said screw it. I left and he said “bye” I’ve never felt like my concerns weren’t important in my life by a Dr so I was completely disgusted. They told me in the lab I had to wait 3 days for results and today they just called me and said “your prescription is ready and your tests are negative” and that is all. The doc never went over medication side effects or how the medicine works with me. I’ve never had such poor experience in my life. I will not be going back here EVER again. I’m truly so saddened by the lack of care that these people have for their patients. Especially Dr Italiano.

Christopher Dillman First time visit at Scripps Vista. Hospital itself is very nice, easy nearby parking in the garage. Made appointment for colonoscopy. Minor surgery/endoscopy there at Scripps Vista is their wheelhouse. Dr Lindamood there is terrific. Had one appointment they had to reschedule, staff was very efficient with that rescheduling process. New appointment went very smoothly. Checked in, got in gown, asked what my favorite music was before going under, then woke up and was done in 1 hour! I can tell the staff there has done a few of these before. :) Just wanted to write job well done, and thank you for the smooth process.

EJS EJS Was happy with primary Doctor (Majd) & previous experiences however had an appointment today & after waiting 5 minutes (no one was at the desk), I was told at check in that the Doctor was running late. I was 10 min late but had called 30 min prior to inform them & was told "thats just fine". At check in, the only option I was given was to wait 1.5 hours for a "squeeze in"... So why was I not called to be notified the Doctor was running late anyway, nor why my appointment was now cancelled?! Although I was told 10 minutes was "just fine" makes no sense. Clearly the staff is unorganized & unprofessional. Initially I was happy & comfortable but unfortunately now am looking to find another office with better customer service, organization & a Doctor that has better availability.

DANIELA M I am a new patient with Scripps. So far I have had a great experience with this facility. I was able to make a last-minute appointment to get a prescription refiled. The lady who did my intake as a new patient was lovely and very helpful. She set me up with all of my appointments to establish care with a primary physician. The facility also has an imaging center and a laboratory.

Stephanie Burroughs Choi is not a doctor as they call her. She’s a nurse practitioner i think? I would strongly not recommend her especially if you have someone in your family with a disability. When you call to fill a prescription they call her Dr Choi. She misdiagnosed my family members condition even though Kaiser had diagnosed the issues in 2011and I provided the records. Simple things like a flu shot. Fine to go. It’s been a nightmare trying to straighten things out.

Lisa McCracken I have been seeing Dr D in the mission ave clinic. She is one of the best physicians that I have ever seen, I have been seeing her for over a year, and I travel all the way from Lemon Grove just to see her. I agree that the front office and medical assistant are lacking in experience, and professional skills, but thats something I dont mind dealing with to see her. I highly recommend Dr.D

Sarah Sprewell This place was great, Donald Miller was an amazing doctor when my son was born. Then as my son got older other doctors took his place. I believe they have 9 doctors in this office. Everytime I brought my children we were always met with “honey” as the cure to everything. Now I’m not against natural remedies but in a world that I grew up in, We were given lots of medicine growing up and I stand by it still. That’s why we go to the doctor… to get medicine…. DR. R. PERKINS and DR. M. KRAMER BOTH MISDIAGNOSED MY 2 KIDS ON SEPARATE OCCASIONS !! They had PNEUMONIA AND THEY TOTALLY IGNORED ANY SIGNS and told us it was nothing. WE HAD TO GO TO THE ER TO CONFIRM AND MY KIDS WERE SUFFERING. I don’t know what kind of new age crap they are trying to throw at my family but it’s over for them seeing my children. There is one doctor there we truly are grateful for but we’re more cautious now… what a shame….I will be complaining to the state medical board as well!

Nelsy Lara MA Claudia, manager who “works in the back” and is above the RN Manager, and the front desk clerk who starred at me with a smirk as I walked out of the clinic. All 3 individuals were unprofessional, lacked the skills to communicate efficiently and should not be working in a pediatrics clinic. I expected the best care from Dr. Perkins and now I have lost all faith and confidence in her as my child’s pediatrician. She never showed up to our scheduled appointment for 3:40 pm. It was 4:32 by the time I walked out. None of the staff addressed me nor said anything. They all smirked and ignored me. Until I address the clerk at the front desk with glasses. No one gave me a name which is why I am addressing them by their looks. Unprofessional and profoundly inappropriate for “professionals” in healthcare and especially for children. My child never got seen for the concerns I have brought up several times with other providers. He is on the spectrum, and was in a deep sleep when we came in. Mind you, if you have a special needs child you know how difficult it is to get them to rest. The MA was offended because I said no to getting his height and weight done when he already has one in his chart from 4/30/24. How many pounds does a child gain and grow in length in 3 days? Not very much. Needless to say, they couldn’t communicate a clear and concise reason to why they were required to repeat a height and weight. “Company policy”. I could hear that Dr. Perkins was next door to us with another patient and it was mind-boggling that no one came to update me about our appointment especially when the manager said she’d be back. I left a message to Kai the patient care coordinator, I tried to call to cancel the appointment because of course the front desk didn’t do her job, and no one answered. Lastly sent a message to Dr. Perkins. No response.

yuliana Murray For a while I have been feeling iffy about coming here, their phone system is not the most productive, when you want to contact billing for instance they have a voicemail system, and weeks later they get back to you. The front desk ladies won’t check you in, if your child for any reason (even if he has autism or whatever disorder) doesn’t want to go to the sick or non-sick area. Dr. Miller is amazing as well as Sasha but at this point I am feel their way of doing health care has been declining.

Sarah Edson I can’t say enough good things about Dr Kramer. She goes above and beyond for her patients, exerting high quality care. Her passion to help others is always apparent when I take my daughter in for wellness visits. She is truly the absolute best. I highly recommend Dr Kramer!

Paige Aufderheide I had my baby boy at this hospital and I loved it. I was originally on Tricare Prime and hated the hassle caused by other doctors in Oceanside. I finally switched to Tricare Standard and I now go through the hospital for almost everything. Everything is in one place, and the doctors, nurses, and corpsman are all very friendly. I really lucked out with a good doctor who helped me deliver my beautiful little baby. Its a newer hospital so everything is very easy to find and very nice and clean. I understand not wanting to use military medicine for everything, but this happens to be a very good facility.

Serjio Gonzales This is truly an amazing hospital. The structure, curb appeal, parking, services, etc. Great location compared to the older naval hospital; which was more centrally located, but this one is near the freeway and new PX (think huge Wal-Mart, the largest in the Marine Corps from what I understand). The pharmacy is huge, and has several windows to tend to its customers, but its always extremely busy. Theres plenty of seating, restrooms nearby, a new mini shoppette, a dining hall, a location to drop old expired medication, both stairs and elevators to each floor, plenty of handicap parking, and so much more. Its got everything! Those who live on base, or have authorization to use its services should feel fortunate.

Akira BelléRose Clean, not hard to find parking. The ER wasn’t much of a wait both times I went. Got sent home with two pages of phone numbers and told it wasn’t a therapy office by rude doctors, had to explain my situation about 4 different times to 4 different doctors. Pretty disappointed and ended up back in there for the same exact reason I went. Bet they take things more seriously now.

Alexandra Tobiasiewicz NEVER. GO. HERE FOR PAIN. I was given a sedative. Unable to move in a dark room alone after the lights turned off for an HOUR and I was terrified after being scolded and lectured by different doctors/nurses. No one cared about my pain. Medical gaslighting at its finest. Even the advocates told me to toughen up. Humiliation. I was screaming in Polish in pain and they found it threatening. I was BEGGING sorry sorry. Didn’t help. Making a formal complaint at this hospital once I am physically able to. I cannot let this happen to others as I had to end up going to an ER over an hour away for help. VERBAL threats. “Why don’t you want to get treated here?” Don’t take everything a person in the most excruciating pain of their life says seriously, ESPECIALLY AFTER BEING ASSAULTED WITH AN IRON. Not everything is mental hurt. I physically was beat and no one did anything for my SEVERE nerve pain but regular medicine. I have forever trauma and fear now from these doctors/nurses/all staff. Nothing will ever make it right and I’m afraid of my life now ever getting sick or hurt. If you guys didn’t want to treat my pain, why didn’t you say so in the first place? Forget about being discharged with no ride ready. Being dumped outside the er in a 12/10 pain. Disgusting and forever have anxiety now. Welcome to Camp Pendleton. My first hospital experience on the west coast. How could you possibly diagnose someone but not treat the pain? I will never get my dignity back from then. Let me tell you something. I am 18 years old. Not a junkie. Newly married. Newly moved. I never want to see any of their faces again from the er but I know to make this right I have to tell others. Be careful and best bet you can handle your pain silently or they’ll try to manipulate you to answer questions so your thrown in the psych ward instead.

Lisa T My daughter is in severe pain because she has a cyst on her jaw, she was told that there could be nothing done about it, but it’s starting to get infected and they’ve turned her away twice. I’m starting to get very pissed off and if she ends up getting staph or meningitis, they’re gonna have a lawsuit on their hands. Enough is enough. It has been four days of constant pain for her. I’m super disappointed in the way they are treating her.

Connie Tovar This doctor questioned my integrity, and health history. Gaslighted me to nth degree and left me leaving the office questioning my entire existence. She showed no concern at all as to why I was there. Pushed birth control on to me and was more concerned about my mental health than my physical health. She asked me if there was any other questions or concerns and I mentioned gastrointestinal concerns and she dismissed me and said we went 10 min past my appointment and she would do a telemedicine appointment answering any concerns I may have. I will be scheduling another appointment with a different doctor as this doctor Katherine Siroky had no interest in me or my health concerns.

Michael Tejeda I had an excellent experience with Dr. Siroky at Scripps Health. She is a knowledgeable and compassionate doctor who truly takes the time to listen and address concerns. Her professionalism and expertise made me feel comfortable and confident in my care. The staff was also courteous and efficient, making the entire visit smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend Dr. Siroky to anyone looking for a dedicated and thorough physician.

Myles Nottingham Really regret going here. While the prodedure went great I had no support afterwards. My doc is gone next week and I need to see someone. Instead of having backup coverage or even another local doc to recommend their solution for me is to just go to the ER. Pretty disappointed. This isn’t a bad review for the doctor directly, it is for the way they manage this office.

Rich Reagan Dr. Phillips was great and seemed extremely knowledgeable of how best to react to my condition and how to alleviate the issue in the future. The TERRIBLE part came when trying to perform a follow-up test. I was told that a Physicians Assistant would contact me with steps that needed to be performed for testing prior to a follow-up phone call. Well, I never heard from anyone, so I phoned and was told that someone would be in touch. I tried again a day or so after, but again never got called. I then phoned again and was once more told that a Physicians Assistant would contact me. Nope, never happened. With the date of the follow-up call with the doctor coming, I phoned the front desk to cancel it since I did not wish to be charged for a consultation over nothing. While chatting with Sam (who was a delight), I explained that I needed to cancel my appointment since no one had contacted me. Sam apologized, cancelled the meeting and asked me if I would like her to assist in getting my testing in place. I said that if Sam believed that this FOURTH ATTEMPT to make it happen would ACTUALLY MAKE IT HAPPEN, then great! While I was on hold, Sam then spoke to the Physicians Assistant and I was assured that everything was in place and I would hear back soon about next steps. Well, its now been TWO WEEKS since that last attempt with no word, so I am left without a medical test a doctor believed I needed and ZERO desire to try once again to phone in to try and receive a response. Once again, Dr. Phillips was terrific during my first visit and seems like a great doctor, but I cannot support an office that is so unresponsive when it comes to medical care and cannot recommend anyone suffer this kind of aggravation as a part of addressing their medical issues.

Deborah Stevenson I went to seek treatment for the older womans problem of peeing too often. I decided to try botox after pills did not help. I had boto x injections and before going home the Dr. Gave me sample pills to take. (New medicine on the market?) After taking those pills I could not urinate at all. 24 hours later I had to go to the hospital. I had to have a catheter put in me. It hurt a lot. I had to leave the catheter in over a week. It was VERY unpleasant. I do not know now the future whether I have to bear this awful catheter longer or what. I feel the boto x and pills were way too much. I very very much regret going to this clinic. I wish I had never gone to this clinic. This is an awful experience.

Ari Flores I am absolutely stunned by the lack of professionalism and patient care at this hospital. I visited on 02/11 at 2:45 PM due to extreme shortness of breath and chest pain. They completely forgot to check me in, and I had to go up front myself after realizing I wasn’t on their list, despite the nurses claiming they had checked in everyone. I waited in pain until nearly 6:30 PM for a breathing treatment that I never received. When I expressed my concerns, Nurse Ami Merz responded in the most unprofessional and dismissive manner. She told me, verbatim “The respiratory therapist can’t just leave his other patients and attend to you. If you want to leave, you can we don’t know when he will see you.” The tone was condescending, insulting, and completely inappropriate. After over three hours of struggling to breathe, I was met with nothing but disregard and a complete lack of compassion. If you expect timely care and basic human decency, avoid this hospital and go to urgent care instead. The way they speak to patients is unacceptable, and their disregard for patient well-being is beyond disappointing. The nurses here completely lack basic patient care, speaking negatively about patients and giving attitude when addressing concerns. It’s clear that this facility desperately needs more patient care training because the way they treat people is unacceptable.

Lisa Pacheco We entered the hospital through the emergency based on a massive stroke that my dad had experienced. From the moment we arrived through the couple of days that we needed to be there for his comfort care each, and every staff and faculty member were amazing! They took time to listen and offer Advisement based on the process and just were above the charts awesome. They were there to help us through and did their jobs very well. So thankful.

Kay Park Their ER staff is amazing. This is my third time having to come in (unfortunately). Once when my son was 3 and another today as a 5yo. The other for myself when I found out I had post-partum complications. All three times we were seen quickly! Everyone is knowledgeable, so nice, and had great bed-side manner. Special shout out to their respiratory guy (don’t know his name), doctors and all the nurses who were so quick and helpful.

San Cyn Nurses and traniee and all staff were the best! Loved each and everyone including doctors and security! Everyone was beyond nice! My nurses were the best! Thank you all for the best care! Only issue I had was a roommate! Had to ask to be moved twice second time was was reading to leave if they didn’t change the my room! You should really look into rooms by themselves not with others!

Elliott Goodreaux Was admitted to ER on the 6th for abdominal pain. It ended up being acute appendicitis. I had surgery and was discharge two days later. Before going in I read all the bad reviews and got a little nervous about choosing this ER. I can tell you from just having been there on the 6th of March, the whole team, from the Janitor to the ER Doctor that found out I had appendicitis, Everyone was great, caring, smart, committed, and cared what happened and how I was feeling. The admin that did all my paperwork, the various lab techs, and phlebotomists, and physician assistants, ER techs, MRI Techs, Ultrasound Person, everyone. As I was taken to the Med Surge floor I Met a great Anesthesiologist, and my wonderful Surgeon Doctor Wakily, who we so caring and understanding of my fear. Late after Surgery on the Post Op floor, I was blessed by so many wonderful people helping me recover so I could go home. It was scary as hell for me but I found compassionate personal care from all the staff, again, from the three ladies i saw rotate through cleaning and dumping trash all the way up to the wonderful Surgeon who checked on me each day to so how I was recovering and the host or RNs and Nurse aides, all of whom helped me feel less afraid, and more hopeful. Thank you!

Abdul Sultani When visiting this clinic, I would caution others about MICHELLE, a blonde nurse. I had a concerning experience when I brought my nephew for a checkup. While taking his pulse oximetry, my nephew was crying and moving his leg, which is understandable for an infant. However, the nurse became frustrated and handled his foot aggressively, which nearly caused him harm. I strongly encourage the clinic to address this issue to ensure better care for all children.

Briana Aiello I would rate this facility zero stars if possible. Weve attempted to visit on multiple occasions, but each time we were told they were "full" for the day. It seems they only see a limited number of patients daily, and once that limit is reached, they stop accepting new patients. This makes it more of a regular doctors office than an urgent care facility. The receptionist asked if we had an appointment, and when I replied "no," we were turned away. Meanwhile, my child was in tears, and the clinic was still "open," but not seeing any walk in patients. I have never had to have an appointment for an urgent in my life. There was no one in the waiting room either. I am extremely disappointed that a childrens specialist would operate in such a manner.

vu hoang my daughter . she is wheezing and coughing and cant sleep. i took her to urgent care waited over 2 hours to see a doctor but they couldnt help her. they just said to keep Wendy warm. i feel so frustrated

H JY They charged me $900 to see the doctor. After they confirmed our health insurance. Please READ other reviews. You will get billed an insane amount of money. And give you the run around IF you can get a hold of them. You. Do not want to go thru this trust me.
