1.Farida Bounoua MD

Address: 2323 De La Vina St, Santa Barbara, CA 93105

(17) Reviews Farida Bounoua MD:

Alex Aguirre Absolutely love her and her team! Had some insurance issues with the surgeon that was going to do my surgery originally and I swear it was a blessing in disguise! Her and her team are absolutely amazing from the consultations to the second you leave the hospital! 10/10 amazing and I totally recommend her.

Zarah Polk Having COVID complications and having had to take steroids for it made me gain a ginormous amount of weight. Even though I exercised regularly and wasnt much of an eater, it was hard for me to lose the excess weight. My blood pressure shot up, and I just didnt feel healthy. Dr. Bounoua gave me hope, and a new lease in life. From the start of the process, she was supportive, informative, and yes, realistic. From the start, she let me know that this wasnt just the solution, that this procedure would be useless if I didnt put the work in. And work I did. 5 months after, with daily 6 mile runs and strength training, I have lost 80 something lbs, and am now training for the St. Jude marathon. I cannot thank Dr. Bounoua enough for not only giving me a new lease in life, but helping me reclaim myself, and be a better person through and through.

eric peterson From day one the dr assured me my gastric sleeve surgery was covered by my insurance. After 6 months of meeting with dietitians, a psychiatrist and having my stomach scoped, arranging for home care and clearing my calendar for several weeks after the surgery date, the drs office called me THE DAY BEFORE my surgery and canceled because my insurance company denied coverage. Dr bounoua is the most disorganized surgeon I’ve ever heard of. Thruout my dealings with them, I felt they were just fast tracking everything with little concern for the patient. Unbelievably unprofessional.
1 /5
Davis Mersereau I dont write many Google reviews, but experiencing good surgery from a fantastic surgeon invites strong praise. Were so lucky in Santa Barbara to have the expertise, care, and attention provided by Dr. Bounoua. Her whole staff is also so helpful and actually cares about its patients as well. Dr. Bounoa is a master of her craft; look no further than her resume, but she readily addresses all of your surgery questions with detail. Above all, shes an excellent surgeon and is there to help all backgrounds of people.

Garcia Mrs Monica (Monii) I had my gastric bypass in 2012. Best decision ever and Dr Bounoua was professional and explained the process. I had to see the dietitian and the psychiatrist and all. Lose weight as needed. I’m still happy with my results and my life. Thank you Dr Bounoua

2.Lynn Rudman MD: Womens Medical Clinic

Address: 504 W Pueblo St Ste 303, Santa Barbara, CA 93105

(8) Reviews Lynn Rudman MD: Womens Medical Clinic:

Brigette Buynak Dr Rudman helped me through a very difficult pregnancy. She is the reason my son was born and I thank God every day for Dr Rudman. She is kind and competent. An amazing person. There needs to be more doctors in the world like Dr Rudman.
5 /5
Chloe I highly recommend Dr.Rudman. She was there every step of the way throughout my pregnancy 2019-2020. She advocated for what I wanted which meant the world to me and why I think so highly of her. She respected me enough to always tell me exactly what was going on and what it meant. Her office was always available to me and she was never inconvenienced with any of my questions and concerns. She showed up at the hospital when I had complications and of course she showed up for me the day my baby entered the world. She reassured and commended me. I could tell she truly cared about mine and my babies well being the entire time.
5 /5
Olga Winter I have been Dr. Lynn Rudmans patient for over 25 years. I consider myself extremely lucky to be her patient. She delivered 2 of my children. She is always very attentive, dedicated, and professional, and she spends a lot of time with her patients. I love her sense of humor. She is an optimist and always able to make your day bright. I trust and respect her very much. Dr. Rudman, please do not stop working and do not retire. You have brought so many babies into this life and gave so much hope to many patients. Thank you for what you do!
5 /5
peter beuret Excellent DR. who takes a very thorough history, pays attention to every detail you mention and checks your lab work with your family physician to give advice and help. As an RN who worked at a OB-Gyn. hospital in another city, I have only the highest praise for her care.
5 /5
La Montecita Once believed this doctor was a great doctor who provided the best care for her patients. Her bedside manner is cold in general but that was not as important as having a doctor who took everything else, medically speaking, extremely serious. Its safe to say, now, her bedside manner outshines her ability as a doctor to do her job and properly take care of her patients. She is extremely egotistical, doesn’t hesitate to talk bad about any and every other local OBGYN. She has a huge reputation for treating hospital staff, primarily nurses, like garbage. She actually says shes proud of the fact so many fear her. God forbid she make any mistakes delivering or caring for one of her patients while they are at Cottage, she will either blame the nurse whose assigned to that patient or she will literally blame the patient. I dont just suggest looking elsewhere for a doctor, i suggest running in any direction away from this one. When you do find a doctor make sure they dont work in a group that includes her as a backup if your doctor is unavailable because i promise you she very likely will take such a special and beautiful experience and leave you completely traumatized unless you get lucky. Her front desk staff is absolute trash but her nurse is good and very nice. I honestly have no idea how this doctor still has a license or hasnt had criminal charges for some of the things shes done.

3.David Dodson, M.D.

Address: 317 W Pueblo St, Santa Barbara, CA 93105

(7) Reviews David Dodson, M.D.:

Elyse King Dr Dodson is very thorough and did not make me feel rushed at all and explaining my health concerns. I felt very heard and supported in the next steps of getting care.
5 /5
Mark Britton Dr. Dodson is a nice guy. One lady on his nursing staff however is extremely rude and went out of their way to make my honest questions about my medical issue and their new patient policies seem stupid. I will not be returning.
1 /5
Kumari Kay We have been going to Dr. David Dodson for many years now, and I can honestly say he is an amazing Dr, and the kindest and sweetest human being. He goes above and beyond and is very responsive. We love the kind ladies that work with him too. Thank you for your great service.♥️
5 /5
Latreya Norwood I just can not believe anyone gave Dr.Dodson a bad review or anything less than 5stars! Maybe some people caught him on a bad day which were all entitled to have ! As for my visit I can’t be more satisfied! He was on top of his game! Super thorough and friendly! He left no box unchecked! I live a hour away and I don’t mind traveling to see him again, I highly recommend Dr. Dodson
5 /5
Nate Way Dr. Dodson is THE best internist in Santa Barbara - full stop. I have seen MANY of them and am very particular. Dr. Dodson checks all the boxes. He is not only the most effective physician I have met in Santa Barbara (accurate diagnosis and corresponding treatment recommendations), he is also the most HONEST and direct. His bedside manner is impeccable. I trust him with my healthcare decisions and wouldnt want any other physician running the show. Thank you Dr. Dodson!

4.Dr David Pires, DO

Address: 222 W Pueblo St suite b, Santa Barbara, CA 93105

(10) Reviews Dr David Pires, DO:

Michael Morrison Having had back pain for years, Dr Pires has set me on the path to pain-free living. Dr Pires bedside manor, his willingness to take time to discuss and answer any questions thoroughly is outstanding! I cant say enough about my experience, highly recommended.
5 /5
Leslie Baldwin I have never experienced a more compassionate doctor in my life. Dr. Pires listened carefully, showed concern in a genuine manner, and handled the procedure thoroughly and professionally. Im so glad I found such a gem of a pain doctor.
5 /5
Katrina Swanson My primary doctor set up an appointment for me to see this “pain doctor that was new in town”. When I arrived, I realized that this pain group had been in town for a while. Regardless, I went in. My appointment was to see Jamie Duncan, PA-C. A male doctor followed us and stood in the doorway, which I thought was a little strange. Because he didn’t come in and close the door behind him, everything he said could be heard by most, if not all, the people in the office. I had to call the office twice to find out his name because he never introduced himself. I was told his name is DR.PIRES. Jamie was very quiet even though my appointment was supposed to be with her. DR. PIRES stood in the doorway and he never asked me why I was there or what my diagnosis was. He told me that he knew ALL the pain doctors in Fresno (I had recently moved from Fresno) and then he asked me who I had seen. I told him the names of two doctors I had seen in Fresno and he didn’t know either of them. Then he told me that “I WAS DOING NOTHING BUT WASTING HIS TIME!”. Then he turned to leave continuing to talk as he walked down the hallway. I told him he was rude so he turned and came back - I was so upset by then I can’t remember what he said. In all, he only spoke for a few minutes but everything he said and how he said it was rude, showing no concern for me, the patient. I believe what he did was a HIPPA VIOLATION. I still don’t know why he stood in the doorway when my appointment was NOT with him. I left the office in tears. I thought pain specialists were supposed to see patients with chronic pain and figure out a plan that would improve our quality of life. I had heard about several patients who moved to the San Luis Obispo area because the weather is mild year round. However, they had to move back to where they came from because they could not find a pain doctor here that would continue their treatment as it had been where they lived. 1) we can’t afford to move again and 2) I can’t tolerate the Central Valley heat so I’m stuck here. They actually billed my insurance $270 for that 5 minute appointment. Very disappointed!!

Danita Belmore I have been coming to see Dr. Pires for some time. Awesome doctor! Highly recommend this office for pain management.
5 /5
L Chacon Ive been enduring a lot of pain, for too long. Coming to see Dr. Pires is where I am now. He is very compassionate and helped me today, by explaining the procedure he was doing and educated me on what to expect. I feel better knowing that Im in great hands. Thank you all ... Both offices are outstanfing. Thank you again with all my heart ...

5.Dr. Sergio Rubio MD

Address: 515 E Micheltorena St # C, Santa Barbara, CA 93103

images: Dr. Sergio Rubio MD

(12) Reviews Dr. Sergio Rubio MD:

Brian Marshall Although Dr. Rubio is knowledgeable, after 4 visits I find him impatient, intolerant, always appears to be angry and or frustrated and he is condescending. In others words, he has the worst bedside manner I have ever had the misfortune to experience.
1 /5
Michael Shierloh Dr. Rubio was referred to me by my pulmonologist after I almost died of massive blood clots in 2001. He helped me afterward with myriad ailments. I cannot say enough about Dr. Rubios thoroughness, compassion, communication skills, caring, and the unhurried nature of our visits. He is a great guy and a great doctor.
5 /5
Isabelle Inveen Dr. Rubio and his staff show remarkable expertise and patient care. Dr. Rubio takes the time to address all of your concerns and is extremely thorough and knowledgable.
5 /5
Kathy Belway Professional, thorough, attractive to questions, and he answered with knowledge, compassion and with a little bit of humor.

6.Carrillo Surgery Center

Address: 401 E Carrillo St A, Santa Barbara, CA 93101

(7) Reviews Carrillo Surgery Center:

Sherilyn Nelson My experience at the surgery center have all been positive and successful. The doctors have been very efficient and kind. The nursing staff is personal and extremely pleasant and also effective. I will have another procedure soon and I have no qualms or anxiety about what will happen thanks to the staffs attention to details.
5 /5
Love I was given someone elses medicine after surgery. No pain meds. Made to sign papers agreeing to things while under the influence of heavy duty medicine and pain after surgery. Come to find out I agreed to them doing and giving things they never did. Support hose were not put on, but charged. I am in chronic pain intercrainal pressure and a mass in my chest from this surgery for 2 years. With no help to understand my symptoms nor explain. Unprofessional, cruel, and dishonest Doctor who fixes the records with lies to cover their butt. I would not wish this place on my worst enemy. Stay away this "Company" it is not looking out for you. It is assembly line treatment with a very greedy surgeon who is dishonest, and just wants to book as many surgeries as he can with no regard to the lack of management at his surgery center or practice, or admits when he has a failed surgery, to help you understand why so much pain when he IS the Doctor he did go to medical school, he knew what the problem was, and lied and offered no help in understanding when he fully knows what complications come with this surgery. Sadistic Snake oil salesman who will destroy your life with his neglect and unprofessional behavior. Keep in mind whoever has medi cal or medi care this owner will be paid wether they help you, or handdicapp you. Do the math.
1 /5
Ken Pracknell Exceptional staff that keep you comfortable and informed. Friendly receptionists and the nurses are great. Dr. Zhang performed an injection and I am feeling significant relief months later.
5 /5
Douglas A I’ve been a patient of Dr. Moelleken for over 20 years. My spine is in good hands!
4 /5
Aaron Davila I was seen 3 times at the center and every time I was received very well. Even with Covid they had up to date safety protocols and attended me with ease and respect. I recommend the center to everyone. Aaron D.

7.Scott F Kozak Md

Address: 28 W Mission St, Santa Barbara, CA 93101

(43) Reviews Scott F Kozak Md:

Twyla Osborne Im so grateful I found Dr. Kozak, he is not only a great doctor, but he has a great personality! It is just obvious how much he is passionate about the well being of his patients! Always in a good mood and always have time for to listen all of your concerns and questions. I cant thank him enough for helping me by being flexible with me when I was having trouble with my insurance! I definitely recommend him and his staff! The office staff is also very friendly and professional :)
5 /5
Michael Bengry Dr. Kozak has been my primary care doctor for several years and I have found him to be compassionate, responsive, and knowledgeable. It is usually easy to get in to his office and his care has been excellent.
5 /5
Ross S. Brunson IV I absolutely recommend Dr. Kozak to anyone who wants a hassle free experience from a knowledgeable and caring doctor. His office assistant is helpful, kind and always can schedule an appointment very quickly. I dont feel like a rushed in and out product at his office. Dr. Kozak takes time and truly cares about my well-being. He is a great person above all. I have never had a doctor that I have been so wholeheartedly happy with!!!
5 /5
Cory Schaeffer In December 2021, I decided to try Kozak as my primary doctor & Im so glad I did. We did a blood work up and he read up on all my previous medical history. He identified an issue that other doctors dismissed and within 2 months I was able show immediate improvement. He was serious, informative and honestly gave me the kick start I really needed. His council did it in a way that caused me to get aggressive in addressing the issue and changing my behaviors. Hes a total pro and reviews everything. He spends the necessary time to listen and then recommend. I highly recommend Dr. Kozak and Im so happy I made a change. Health takes you getting serious and a doctor who sees you as a person; Dr. Kozak is that doctor.
5 /5
Allen Axelband Dr Kozak is an outstanding, caring and compassionate primary care doctor. I have never felt rushed and he’s a great listener. I am very happy with the care that I have received and am fully confident with his competence.

Chad Gordon Dr. Gristan is incredibly thorough and truly dedicated to patient care. She takes the time to listen, offers thoughtful solutions, and goes above and beyond to ensure the best possible quality of life. Highly recommend…
5 /5
Julia Nelson I truly hope this office gets it together. I had an AWEFUL experience and felt more disrespected than I have ever felt from an office team. Doctor to patient care does not seem like it exists here. Will NOT be going back and truly do not recommend this place. I hope I get an apology from this team.
1 /5
Rose Hill My first visit with Dr. Gristan left me feeling many things: she is competent, she LISTENS, she is compassionate, she follows through completely with my issues & I feel fortunate to have this medical attention. It was a great experience for a first visit & look forward to a good future with her.
5 /5
Blake I’ve had a great experience working with Dr. Gristan. She is attentive and very knowledgeable. I can tell she cares deeply about her patients and ensures treatment plans are catered to the individual. Would highly recommend her and cottage primary care.

(39) Reviews Susanne Ramos, MD:

Lauren Holland Dr. Ramos is not only an excellent doctor but she is patient, kind and thoughtful about your care. The staff in this office is hands down the most kind I have experienced in Santa Barbara. Everyone is professional and inviting. 10/10 experience every time.
5 /5
Linda Whalen Totally satisfied with my visit. Exam was thorough, and all my questions and needs were met. A nice change from my GYN experience in San Luis Obispo where I live. Totally worth the drive.
5 /5
Raeann Berg Dr. Ramos is truly the best in the game. I’ve always had a hard time connecting with doctors, but Dr. Ramos shines like no other. Throughout my pregnancy, she made every appointment special by doing an ultrasound every time, which was such a comforting touch. She’s empathetic, funny, genuinely excited to see you, and her top priority is always you and your baby’s health. During my labor, there was a moment of downtime when she had to step out for an emergency, and the nurses mentioned I might be heading toward a c-section. But when Dr. Ramos came back, she was confident, determined, and fully focused on getting my baby here safely—and she delivered in every sense of the word. Postpartum, when I suspected I had mastitis, I called the office, and they got me in that same evening. Dr. Ramos made sure I had what I needed before it turned into something worse. Since moving back to Orange County, I still haven’t found a doctor like her. She’s one of a kind, and here I am writing a review a year later—but boy, does she deserve it! Jack says hi!
5 /5
Jody Boyman Dr Ramos delivered my son 22 years ago and I have been her patient ever since. My daughter is also her patient. She is knowledgeable, responsive and empathic. I have always received expert level of care ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
5 /5
Erika Ronchietto Dr Ramos delivered all 3 of our kids. She is caring, compassionate, highly trained and skilled at what she does. She cares about her patients and when you are done having kids she continues to provide care going forward. She is a truly amazing dr and very good at her job. Her office staff is amazing and do their best to see patients and schedule appts in a timely manner. Even if you have to wait awhile, it is always worth it because she takes the time with each patient.

(36) Reviews Melissa Drake, M.D.:

Nicole Cantello I was so blessed to have Dr. Drake for both of my pregnancies. She is a true gem. She has a kind, peaceful and light-hearted demeanor that puts you at ease. She always made me feel safe, seen and advocated for. She is incredibly attentive and detail oriented and truly considers your wishes. Not only were my visits before baby amazing, but the actual births were everything Id hoped for. My first would have been a c-section with any other Dr. and she was so patient, which is rare for OBs when it comes to delivery. Im emotional writing this because Im so grateful for the intentional way she practices, with a patient centered approach. She is truly giving women the power back when it comes to birthing, the way it should be. Thank you Dr. Drake for everything you do!!! Youre a true hero.
5 /5
A Art Kaslow DDS I don’t typically take time to write public reviews, but Dr. Drake is simply too great to not share about! She is the most attentive doctor I have had experience with. She has delivered three of my babies successfully and with no complications and made me comfortable throughout the entire process. She starts with an in person check in before every visit. And somehow manages to remember personal things going on in her patients lives to touch base on it. I don’t know how she does it because the SB Cottage Hospital staff tells me that she is the busiest and most popular OB-Gyn; yet I feel like I am her only patient when I am with her. Dr. Drake is the best!
5 /5
Lilla Smith Dr. Drake is a wonderful doctor; knowledgeable and with a great sense of humor. She listens well and it is obvious that she cares for her patients and enjoys her work. My baby girls heart rate dropped a few times during labor and Dr. Drake recommended a C-section. I am so glad I took her advice because the cord ended up being wrapped around her neck. Dr. Drake was not only professional but reassuring, and delivered my healthy little baby with skill and grace. I continue to see Dr. Drake for routine checkups and care, and look forward to working with her if I become pregnant in the future.
5 /5
Nattaly Reyes Dr. Drake is amazing! I moved from Oxnard to Santa Barbara in the middle of my pregnancy and she happily welcomed me as her Paitient. She is kind and warm and comforting. She listened to me and advocated for the labor I wanted. And when things got hairy, she acted fast and talked me through everything. She’s so compassionate (excuse me while I tear up over here) I truly felt safe in her care. Her office is welcoming and Roxanne is always on top of scheduling too. I literally cannot wait to have more babies and for Dr. Drake to watch me and my family grow! Thank you Dr. Drake !
5 /5
Angie Hudspeth Hands down best doctor I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. When I was looking to find a female GYN in my area, I was specifically looking for someone whose "specialty" wasnt primarily Obstetrics but someone who could identify with a woman past her childbearing years and possible menopausal issues. I found that my search was more difficult than I thought it would be. Fortunately for me, she was one of the only ones accepting new patients or that you didnt have to wait half a year to see, and accepted my insurance. Upon arrival at her office, easy parking and I immediately loved the vibe I picked up. Clean and welcoming with the lovely scent coming from the diffuser and the hip music playing. Dr. Drake is very professional, knowledgeable, kind, and down to earth all at the same time. After meeting and treating with Dr. Drake, I am pleased and very comfortable with her She is an amazing individual and you are blessed if you have her as your physician!

12.Rashti Women’s Care - Pedram Rashti MD

Address: 2410 Fletcher Ave Suite #301, Santa Barbara, CA 93105

images: Rashti Women’s Care - Pedram Rashti MD

(54) Reviews Rashti Women’s Care - Pedram Rashti MD:

Melanie Carmody I cant say enough positive things about Dr. Rashti. He was covering for my OB who was out of town when a terrible C section incision infection appeared. He communicated with me clearly, made himself available, and worked with the staff at the hospital to see me. He addressed the medical issue and got me on the path to recovery immediately - I was lucky to have him care for me during a very stressful and painful time.
5 /5
Hannah Carroll I am writing this feedback with deep disappointment regarding Dr. Rashtis recent decision to implement a $350 annual premium for his services. As a patient since 2019, I have always praised him for his exceptional care and dedication. However, learning about this additional fee—especially just two weeks before my appointment—has left me frustrated and disheartened. The justification that I was given from office staff, that it "covers appointment flexibility" feels inadequate, particularly at a time when I am considering starting a family. It pains me to have to find a new doctor, not out of financial necessity but due to the principle of the matter. In today’s challenging political landscape, it is especially difficult to see barriers being placed in front of women seeking access to reproductive health care. It is unacceptable that women are required to pay for insurance in addition to an extra fee imposed by the office—without receiving any tangible benefit in return—just to manage their own health and well-being. I am genuinely saddened by Dr. Rashtis shift to a "concierge" model, which ultimately undermines the very essence of patient-focused care and has added yet another barrier to womens healthcare.
1 /5
Cynthia Reynoso This was my second attempt to have Dr. Rashti as my OBGYN. The first time was five years ago during my first pregnancy. Id heard many wonderful things about him and decided to give him a try since I was nervous about the whole pregnancy experience. I scheduled my appointment with him, but by week 6, I became very ill with hyperemesis gravidarum (HG) and ended up in the hospital three times in one week. Each time, the emergency room doctor tried to contact Dr. Rashti to get me seen sooner and to prescribe medication, but he never returned their calls. On my third visit, the ER doctor suggested I switch doctors and recommended Dr. Drake, who was absolutely AMAZING. Dr. Drake was always quick to return my calls and provided excellent care, especially knowing how ill I was for the first six months. I quickly switched from Dr. Rashti and never looked back. Now, during my third pregnancy, with Dr. Drake no longer practicing, I asked around and, once again, Dr. Rashti came highly recommended. I decided to give him another chance. I was informed that he is now a concierge doctor and that a $2,000 membership fee is required out-of-pocket for him to be your OBGYN. Having had positive experiences with concierge pediatricians for our toddlers, I was okay with this, expecting the same level of attention, quick appointments, and perks. However, my first visit was disappointing. When I arrived at the office, I was surprised to find the front desk staff behind a closed window. They didnt have the window open, so neither they nor I could see each other. I could hear them talking, but no one acknowledged my presence until they finally opened the window to check me in for my noon appointment. After completing the paperwork, I had to knock on the window again to hand it back, and they promptly closed it again. I then sat in the lobby for 1 hour and 45 minutes without any communication. No one opened the window or mentioned that they were running late until I knocked again to ask what was going on. No other patients had come in or out for the last 30 minutes, and I was still waiting. When I asked if they had an estimated time frame, they looked at me as if I had asked an unreasonable question. Unable to wait any longer, I informed them that I would need to reschedule, but the lack of professionalism, empathy, and communication left me deeply unimpressed. Despite the "concierge" label, this office doesnt come close to the level of care and service that term should imply. Dr. Rashti needs to seriously improve both his communication and the professionalism of his staff. To date, I have yet to receive a call back to reschedule, and honestly, Im relieved because I would never return. I would not recommend Dr. Rashti. His communication is poor, and his office staff is condescending and impersonal.

Marly Cronin I saw Dr. Rashti for gynecology services prior to starting my pregnancy journey this year. I have never in my life worked with a more compassionate, available, understanding and attentive physician or care team. I am consistently impressed with the level of care and service they provide. I have never once felt like they didnt have time for me or my concerns (even when those calls came in the middle of the night). They work incredibly hard and they genuinely care about their patients. I couldnt feel more grateful that this is the team helping me through my first pregnancy.

Cheryl Lombardi He is a wonderful doctor, but honestly after years of having him treat me I am now told that I am not able to schedule an appointment unless I have a referral from another doctor? My internist had me send him a copy of my chest xray and his office literally mailed it back to me with absolutely no note nothing apparently he really doesnt want to provide care for me, I am now being told I have an airway that doesnt clear per my cardioligist however I have chosen to seek treatment from another physician, I dont ask to be seen often and certainly dont seek treatment without having a medical issue so I really dont understand what has happened here! I mean I could understand this if I was constantly calling his office to be seen with no issues but this I find disturbing.

Cara Terlep My stepdaughter waited for a PCP appointment for SIX MONTHS (I am NOT exaggerating) for a specific doctor that I had thoroughly researched and wanted to be her PCP for the entirety of her time here in SB County... THE MORNING of the appointment she called to verify the location and guess what! IT WAS CANCELLED! And... the appointment coordinator told my stepdaughter that there were no waitlists, and the physician was booked out until May 2023. She explained she is going to college and she needs to get an appointment with this physician beforehand. The fact they didnt call or notify us is asinine. And they are extremely unhelpful with trying to amend the situation in any way shape or form. Were done with Sansum. Switching over to UCLA Health in Montecito like 50% of the county since MAYBE well actually be able to receive care in a reasonable amount of time.

Lillian Luu I have a rare gallbladder cancer, Stage 4, at 33 years of age. Dr. Newman pulled out all the stops to find effective, in some cases experimental treatments AND get them covered by insurance. He did so much of his own research and he listened when we presented our own. That he got my drugs covered by insurance is nothing short of a miracle. Through several hospitalizations and surgeries, I have been fully supported by Dr. Newman and Dr. Conway. They were ever present and managed my care while I was hospitalized. Rebecca and Stefanie Rashti in palliative care have been with me every step of the way, calling every week to ensure my medications are on point. I couldn’t have asked for a better team. I’ve never received healthcare of this caliber and it has made a challenging diagnosis that much easier.

another view Worst first phone call ever! Fast talking, non-listening, rigid, rude, wouldnt respond to my question about the name or spelling of names she was giving me, mid-sentence cut me off transferred me to a different department. A womans name with an S in the middle and a Lee on the end, impossible to distinguish or even get her to repeat her name. I have great hearing. Its not a hearing problem, its a 10x the speed like the end of an ad on the radio giving the disclaimers faster than any human ear could grasp what is being said. Yikes. Hoping the MDs and cancer care is better than the staff person who is their first connection to a newcomer. Their hiring department hired a bad person for that job.

Katie Kosmala My doctor is rushed, not enough time for my appointments, although I am stage 4 or terminal and the standard of care has not benefited me really. She does take the time to discuss other options with me, which is very appreciated. I guess I cannot knock them for the lack for effective treatment for terminal patients. But, they use very strong aerosol cleaner inside the poorly ventilated building and hand put candy during Halloween. Had to knock the rating down one star. My doctor is brilliant and the nurses are very helpful and caring.

闫倩玉 The bad part is that the doctor did too many unnecessary tests and asked me to take aspirin while breastfeeding, which would affect my baby and reduce my milk supply. I went for an ultrasound today and the examiner told me that there is no need to continue. I tried it again, but the doctor said I won’t stop taking aspirin without doing an ultrasound! How ridiculous! When I call, I always wait for a call back, but no call ever comes!

The room was comfortable, plenty of space for the family to visit. Thank you very much, Clara

Jihye Lee I gave birth here two weeks ago. During the induction process, my left arm’s veins were severely damaged while inserting the IV, but the entire birth center staff was kind and considerate. I don’t remember the exact name, but a nurse named Gabriel/Gabriella thoughtfully provided a peanut ball and carefully changed the sheet after my water broke, for which I am very grateful. I also want to highly praise Theresa, a postpartum nurse. Her attentive care allowed us, as first-time parents, to confidently take care of our baby. I truly appreciate her support.

Jose Marquez My recent visit to the Cottage emergency room was extremely disappointing. A patient in visible pain was on the ground, and the check-in nurse yelled at him to get up until someone intervened. Meanwhile, my wife, experiencing an allergic reaction, waited over an hour without care and eventually left to handle it herself. Adding to the stress, security guards knocked on car windows within minutes of parking, despite posted drop-off allowances; While leaving alone unattended vehicles in these spaces. The overall environment felt chaotic and disorganized, lacked compassion and I hope this feedback encourages improvements.

Shes exceptional, but weve also had good experiences with the other doctors, and its good to know they are there to cover if Dr. Kayumi is not available on short notice. Weve never had a problem getting in for time sensitive issues. They got us though the chaos and near weekly doctors notes of the pandemic!

Rebecca Cox We have experienced nothing but the best, most thorough and thoughtful care from all of the doctors at Children’s Medical Clinic. Going above and beyond, Dr Kayumi-Rashti even called us back on a holiday weekend to follow up on an emergency room visit we did while traveling. We have also been given excellent referrals for specialists when needed. I leave every visit feeling like my concerns have been addressed and our children have received excellent care. I’m so grateful we found this clinic of an amazing team of doctors who really care for their patients and the emotional concerns of the parents as well.

Amber Workman I am writing this review to share our longstanding experience with the Childrens Medical Clinic of Santa Barbara, where our kids have been patients for years. While I dont want to come across as overly negative, I feel its essential to highlight some persistent issues we have encountered. Firstly, a significant concern weve faced is the medical centers policy of refusing to see patients until all bills are paid in full. While financial responsibility is understandable, this approach poses challenges for families without immediate access to funds. I inquired about this policy and was told that those unable to pay should take their child to the ER for treatment. This raises questions about the legality and ethicality of such a practice, though I havent had the chance to fully research it. Another point of disappointment has been the quality of medical care provided. The doctors at the Childrens Medical Clinic of Santa Barbara appear reluctant to invest the time necessary to thoroughly diagnose and treat their young patients. This lack of commitment to their jobs is disheartening, especially when dealing with the health and well-being of our children. Lastly, the front desk staffs disorganization has been a recurrent issue. Weve experienced mis-scheduled appointments, with tangible proof in the form of appointment cards, and documents being misplaced. This not only adds to the frustration but also raises concerns about the overall efficiency and reliability of the administrative processes. In conclusion, our experience at the Childrens Medical Clinic of Santa Barbara has been consistently disappointing due to financial barriers, subpar medical attention, and administrative inefficiencies. I believe its important to bring attention to these issues to encourage improvement and ensure that all families receive the quality healthcare they deserve.

Curt R I’ve left disappointed every time I have ever taken my step daughter to this clinic. I have been taking her there for over six years. I will not call the office staff and front desk rude but they are certainly not friendly or helpful. I wait in the waiting room when my now teen step daughter gets checkups assuming the doctor will come out afterwards and tell me how she is doing. This never happens and then I have to hunt someone down to ask questions who then goes back to the Doctor and then returns to me. If I have a follow up question, same thing. I find it almost unbelievable a Doctor does not think it is necessary to talk to a parent after seeing a child even after giving the child medication advice. Very poor service all around and I’m now looking for a new pediatrician.

Ian Griffith My deaf partner attempted to make an appointment at this practice. In doing so she requested that an interpreter be provided for her as is required by the Americans with Disabilities Act. Dr. Jackson refused to provide an interpreter, and accused my partner of threatening to sue when bringing up the Americans with Disabilities act. Dr. Jackson and Nubia, the manager, have been completely uncooperative on this matter and have resulted to hanging up on our phone calls. Be very wary of this unprofessional practice. I hope that individuals with disabilities, and abled people, will avoid this humiliating and poorly managed practice. Aden Hailu I wish I could give this doctor a ZERO - I have NEVER experienced a doctor who was rude such as Dr. Rosa Choi. The moment she walked into the waiting room her reply was, ‘I don’t know what I’m doing here’ without even looking at my chart and she proceeded to basically give answers to her own questions without allowing me to explain the situation. Once she finally stopped and finally asked me why I was there she basically stated that I needed to take medication [lots of it] and that she can refer me to another doctor and ‘that’s it’ – she then walked out. This was an experience like I’ve never had. I highly suggest for anyone to seek another doctor. This doctor needs to reevaluate the ‘Hippocratic Oath’ – a despicable doctor! I will also contact the board, this is unacceptable behavior that needs to be corrected. Dr. Choi needs to treat her patients with respect, no matter who they are.

Liz Simas My lucky day was to meet Dr. Choi. I met her the day of my cancer diagnosis. She was compassionate yet direct. She answered ALL my questions and made staff available to contact should more questions arise (and they did). At one point when scheduling my surgery, I requested a timeframe and the response by staff was "Dr. Choi is going to want to do what you want to do." When my surgery day came, I had enough contact with her and her staff that I was totally comfortable and trusting that I had the right surgeon. She couldnt have been more COMPETENT, informative, caring, and professional. Sansum Clinic is lucky to have her on their team...and so am I.

After I found one that I thought would be a good fit I called life stance to book the appointment with her, and she had one opening soon and I thought she said more in the end of October. Instead of the receptionist booking it for me, she was trying to sell me on a different therapist who she thought I should take a look at to see. I’m not sure why she thought she was better fit to suggest names to me rather than the person who I had researched and originally asked for. So after circling back she said “oh I’m sorry that appointment was taken and she has no more appointments in the foreseeable future.” I am now booked with no therapist and have two negative experiences with this company finding me therapy. I wish that her error would have been fixed and finding a way to get me the appointment with the provider that I had asked for since I called for it and was given the run around.

Every single time I call for the past almost 5 years, they have been extremely kind and helpful. They are empathetic, understanding, and 100% deserve a raise for how much patience they have. I thank the office staff immensely for their care and hospitality. You can feel their compassion through the phone! I wish I could remember all their names and acknowledge them here but my memory sucks! However, I will always remember the kindness they showed me. Sometimes the front desk could be the catalyst for continuing or discontinuing treatment because their care can make a huge difference. And they have cared every time. THANK YOU ALL!!! And management please give them a raise!!! They absolutely deserve it.

Claudia Hernández I went to Dr David Raphael for my monthly pregnancy check-up and it was the worst medical experience I have had so far, he saw me in a hurry and it seemed like he was bothered by me asking him questions, I told him that my previous gynecologist discovered a cyst in one of my breasts and he told me that it didnt matter because I was pregnant and that nothing was wrong, however, in my most recent check-up visit, the doctor who usually treats me told me that of course it was important to check that there were no changes on that matter. Anyway, I dont understand how they can hire someone with so little medical and service vocation to have direct contact with patients.

I haven’t had great patient care in the past, so I was genuinely really happy with my experience here today. D. P. I have concerns about the hiring practices at this hospital. I have learned that one of the staff members, who has openly discussed his employment here, has been accused of serious offenses, including theft and other troubling allegations. Additionally, he has admitted to using substances before and during work hours to me. While these accusations have not led to a criminal conviction, to my knowledge, they raise significant concerns for me. I am uncomfortable with the idea of receiving care at a facility that employs individuals with such serious allegations against them. I hope the hospital will address these issues to ensure a safe and trustworthy environment for all patients. Update: the hospital has said they will look into the issue/employee. However, Id still use caution coming here...

Scott S Although the service I received was comparable to other hospitals, this hospital should be ashamed of themselves (if they had any shame) for their billing practices. I recently had jaw surgery done there and was told that if I was a self-pay patient, the surgery and 1 night in hospital would be $15,000 which seems reasonable enough. Rather, I used my health insurance and this hospital had the outright audacity to charge them $270,000 for what they said would only be $15,000 for a self-pay patient. Why would they markup a bill nearly 20x because your insurance is paying for it? No wonder healthcare costs are so high in this country with providers like this. Then I had a follow up outpatient procedure and they charged over $150,000 for that. They claim they are "not for profit," but its very difficult to tell. Also, they charged me about $500 for the first surgery because they expected that to be my responsibility after insurance paid and then the insurance company sent them an EOB which clearly showed I owed even less than $1. They held on to my money and didnt refund it for months. Now after my second procedure, they want to hold on to it when they should have refunded it already.

Tanner Cassidy My suggestion for you if you find yourself in an emergency is to save your money and just suffer rather than come here. I received abysmal care, was charged exorbitant fees, filed a complaint, and had the complaint reviewed and rejected by the doctor who treated me. They also justified their reasons for my negative care with a study from an emergency nurses journal that basically said that if they dont lay you down in a bed and process you, theyll save space and get you out of there quicker. Real good use of their time and my money. They must save a fortune not helping people and charging them as if they did.

Yanfei Yu Extremely impatient nurses/staff especially Dr. Hannah Gross. I spent 8 hours sitting in the ER running a high fever got tested for at least 6 different samples and they didn’t take the time to briefly explain why those were being taken/examined, immediately got sent back to the waiting room after they got their samples. In the last hour I got put into a medical room with a bed and had an iv inserted. I was extremely nauseous and Hannah Gross attempted to look in the back of my throat once again (no results the first two times she looked) and I broke down crying because it kept triggering my reflux and I was just stressed out/uncomfortable for 8 hours. She threw off her gloves (after I cried for not even a minute yet) rudely saying “Whatever I am done” and stormed out of the room. About 5 minutes pass by, she peaks into the room telling the nurse that she just clocked off her shift and the next doctor will take over. My understanding is that her shift was over and she just wanted to go home so she didn’t care to be patient. Overall unprofessional, I would’ve disregarded this entire experience if she didn’t have that attitude towards her patient.

Maria Mendez If youre ever having a mental health crisis do not go to cottage hospital! I wish I would of kept it to myself. I went there under a voluntary hold. The first nurse who attended me who took my vitals wrote under her triage notes that I thought I was dying when I had told her that I was such emotional pain that I FELT like I was dying. There is a large difference between these two things, and not noting this difference could of greatly affected the mental health care that I received and could of potentially resulted me in getting treatment for thinking I was dying when thats not what I said. Furthermore, I asked for one of my medications which is a sleeping aid because I have insomnia. I asked for this twice from two different nurses. Both nurses said they would get it for me and I never ended up getting it which resulted in me staging up all night whoch only worsened my symptoms. I was tired and upset so I asked the nurse behind the desk if I could leave since I was under voluntary hold. She became clearly panicked and started talking to me as if I was crazy or a child which was upsetting to be dehumanized in such a way. She directed me back to my room. The mental health specialist who talked to me was extremely rude and condescending and told me that I was a complicated person. She also would not let me finish talking and would interrupt me. She lacked the empathy and compassion and especially gentleness that is necessary for individuals in a mental health crisis. It is clear to me that the staff there stigmatizes mental health and have not received the necessary amount of mental health training to be able to treat mental health patients. Furthermore, on my chart it was noted that they have me a medication but I was never given anything.

Claire Smith This is the Ritz Carlton of hospitals … We were on vacation from Texas and my husband got gall stones and needed his gallbladder removed stat. After no wait to get in to the emergency room, they were able to fit him in for surgery same day on a Saturday of a holiday weekend. I was not allowed into the emergency room bc of COVID but it was easy to get updates by calling and through their texting system. I could visit him once he got to in inpatient. His room was straight up nicer than our hotel. Large windows with natural lighting, beautiful hardwood floors and comfortable beds. The food? OMG. Literally think Cheesecake Factory meets your local farm to table eatery. Extensive menu with very healthy clean delicious options. I was drooling over my husbands meal hoping he had some leftover for me. I could not believe this was “hospital food”. His nurses were so attentive and friendly. He got wonderful care while he was there. I hope you don’t need to go to the ER while on vacation like my husband but if you do, you’re definitely in good hands.

Tyler Lewis I came into Cottage Hospital Emergency late night June 8th for respiratory troubles I was having. There are no urgent care alternatives in Santa Barbara and this was my only option. The emergency was seemingly empty and they accepted me immediately. They never asked me for ID or verified any proof-of-identity, never had me sign any sort of document either. Nurse took my vitals, O2 content was unsurprisingly low, and was taken to a room to wait for attention from doctor. I sat, I waited, I even fell asleep, FOUR HOURS waiting any medical attention. The air in the hospital was very soothing on my respiratory system and had independently cleared up my complications by the time doc showed up. I expressed that my concerns were settled, but she listened to my chest with stethoscope and told me that I was likely sick and to take Tylenol. I never received any stabilizing treatment from the emergency room staff, nor did I sign any documents or prove my identity during the visit. Turns out I had bronchitis, and this doctor and 5 hour visit was no help whatsoever except gouging my pocket. They send me a bill over $2,000 the other day. Itemized bill says simply the visit constituted this. I never received any treatment and I am bewildered that they even sent me a bill, let alone one of multiple thousand dollars.

Jorge Utrera Wednesday night I visited ER because and bacterial stomach infection, they did all kinda of test everything came up negative and they told me I had gastroenteritis which was causing fever, diarrhea and vomit, and they just gave 2 Tylenol for the fever and 1 Zofran-odt for the nausea and that was it, like what kinda scam is this? Like if you know what kinda virus I got then give something to fight it, but instead just gave me something for the symptoms, this is Bs, now I’m back home and soon gonna have a ER bill for like $3000 for 2 Tylenols

Cesar Peralta Dr. Baldwin is the worst. Dismissed and rejected my concerns and I asked to be sent somewhere where I can get an ultra sound of my ribs, but she says everything looks good on image; yet, im in so much pain and cant sleep or lay on my sides and it hurts to sneeze and cough. I then tried to show her some images I had from the last dr. And she got upset that I didnt have any recent x-rays. I asked her to look at my x-rays that I had and she refused and acted like nothing was wrong with me, even though Im in a lot of pain.

Steve Richardson I called over a week in advance for an appointment, I got two calls a day before my appointment, one with a live person and one automated. I showed up at the time I was given, when I arrived I was told my appointment was with the specific doctor I requested when I set this up. I was given some paperwork to fill out. When I got called into the back the nurse told me I was going to see another doctor because the doctor I had set up the appointment with was "booked"??? After questioning why and refusing to see another doctor as I was a new patient and wanted to meet with my new primary physician. Well evidently that wasnt going to happen so I was then shuffled into two different rooms to speak to two different managers both telling me the doctor I was there to see was booked up, then all of a sudden it was their decision that it was my fault for being late so at this point I was so fatigued I gave in realizing I was getting nowhere, so back to the front desk where I was given an appointment for 12 days later. I am recovering from a major surgery and it took a lot of energy for me to get ready and drive myself to this appointment. This was rude and a horrible first impression. I hope that my next visit doesnt leave me so frustrated that Im compelled to write another bad review.

Emily G Hands down the worst doctors office. They have very little organization skills and offer very little information for their patients to contact their doctors. Calling the front desk will always be a 10-30 minute hold and if you need to contact your doctors for refills ect. the ladies at the front desk dont have any of the doctors information making it almost impossible to get ahold of our primary care doctor, something that should be an easy contact. No emails or direct numbers and its comes off very unprofessional, making you wonder how skilled the health care providers there are.

Matthew Graves The were very rude to my wife and said she was an unfit mother. Wouldn’t work with my schedule or my wife who is a homemaker. Then made mandatory appointments which I will lose work trying to keep. My wife also felt they were trying shame her for having multiple children and not working with their schedule. This is the first and last time will ever use anything from the county.

Carrie Ransome I received the best care and attention you could ask for and I didnt even know there was a hospital in Santa Ynez. From the security gentleman who was right there when we pulled up offering assistance to the triage department who were kind and super efficient I was blown away with the kindness and care. Then once in a room it just got better. My nurse was helpful and super caring to the 2 attending Drs in which their knowledge and experience showed and made me feel so cared for and in good hands. The radiology techs were top notch and super informative with tests I have had before yet never have been given the proper information like this. Hoping I dont need an emergency room or hospital in the near future but for sure feel safe knowing they are there to help. Great place!!!!

Gabe Clow This was the worst hospital I have ever been to. The doctors are extremely snarky and proud in their ignorance and failed to correctly diagnose my symptoms over multiple visits. Upon switching to a different hospital, the doctors there found the cause immediately and were appalled that the Santa Ynez Valley Cottage Hospital Doctors lacked the skills to be able to diagnose a relatively simple issue. If you have any means to get to any hospital besides this one within 100 miles, I strongly strongly strongly urge you to, so that you can receive actual quality care.

Kole This review is directed at a RN not sure if her first name is Victoria or if its her last name. This is the first time Ive ever had a issue of any kind with the ER staff at Sych this lady went out of her way to cut me off at every world I spoke, explaining the situation that was going on with my father. After continually cutting me off she then accused me of yelling at her. I speak loud and clear because my dad is partially deaf. She then continued to argue with me and kept accusing me of yelling at her. She should not be in any position to deal with any patient what so ever. Her job is to listen, not interrupt and try to have the last word. Extremely unprofessional. Everyone else there has always been great. I would never let a person who works for me speak to a customer/client in the manner she spoke to me and my dad. She would be fired on the spot. Again Ive never had anyone at this ER act this way. Believe me, because of my dads lack of hearing ability, I do have a loud voice, but if I decided to yell she wouldnt how to handle it. It better not happen again. Someone above her pay grade needs to sit her down and put her in check. I tried to be polite through the rest of the visit just to get through so my dad could go home. Never ever will this be tolerated again! Fix this problem SYCH!!!!!

Linsey H. The receptionist was kind, the male nurse too. Dr.Pelletier was fantastic. My daughter had nursemaids elbow (in a lot of pain) and he swiftly corrected it and she was fine within minutes. He is definitely pediatric-friendly. We so appreciated how he presented himself to our daughter, bubbly and compassionate. Thank you!

Marlis Sonnen They seem to be more preventative minded than to care for those already sick. Very little advanced care. I think they are good for routine wellness checks. A big clinic, very little tailored one on one help. Kind of old fashioned compared to UCLA. Turn n burn healthcare.

Matt Schaefer State of the Art Healthcare! I visited my Primary Doctor today and was once again impressed by the professionalism of the people at Sansum Internal Medicine. Especially the Covid-19 precautions are very well done.

Julia Gore horrible bedside manners. super rude, tried to manipulate me into thinking that i wasn’t in as much pain as i was. Didn’t have the decency to even come reveal my test results to me because i had my mask down while i was itching my nose. I felt it so disrespectful after waiting for three hours to get my results.

Breda Wall Recently was advised by my GP to go to emergency room at cottage on the tuesday before Thanksgiving and albeit an unexpected visit and out of an abundance of caution I took myself there . I was treated with caring and respect from the nervous moment I went through the doors by every member of the cottage hospital/ Dr.Mills team. What a fine job you do every day ..frontline heros that thankfully I do not encounter on a usual basic. I am thankful for the care and the outcome. Breda

bob pugh Same as above gentleman expressed- just got my one year wellness visit set at over a year! Doctors are great at Sansum but wait is issue. Finally today I called & found one opening in March. Then asked department to let me do my bloodwork now. They called back in 10 minutes & said blood work is set so I can do & results will be sent to me in one day& I can see if any issues. Best thing going for Sansum is “My Chart” it’s not docs fault that they are swamped ! Hopefully new owners can fix very soon!

Toshiko C I instantly felt that Dr. Pap was interested in my wellbeing. Loved her warm approach so much that I was glad I had chosen this clinic. The young female nurse practitioner as well as the front office lady were efficient and cheerful just like Dr. Pap.

Papa Foreman I have never had a good experience at Sansum. You basically are passed around from one specialist to another who do very little and it takes months to get an appointment—even when you are already in the system and have seen a doctor. It’s a factory system for profit. If you want to see a phycologist who falls asleep while your spilling your guts, if want a Podiatrist to tell you there’s nothing wrong with your big toe two days before the nail falls off, if you want to be misdiagnosed and see your medical records filled with misinformation, then by all means . . . The staff making appointments don’t know what they’re doing. The entire system is incompetent and is designed to charge your insurance as much as possible for as little care as possible for as long as possible. The only reason I ever went there was because my insurance didn’t allow me to go elsewhere. Up to you . . . Buyer beware!

kristin smallwood Sansum in general is one of the worst medical resources I’ve ever experienced. Last year you had to wait 8 months for a physical check up with your primary care doctor. Now it’s a year. I can understand a month or so but not more than that. A year wait means you should probably just stop practicing medicine and retire. I don’t know what the problem is with this clinic. There seem to be plenty of doctors living in Santa Barbara. Are you really that understaffed? Or do all your doctors only work two days a week? The fact that they also close their help line at like noon on Fridays is also terrible. Not everyone in Santa Barbara is retired with their lives more than half over.

Divya Chawla They denied me services and didn’t give me an appointment. My last pregnancy was with Dr Walldman and I wanted to see her this time as well. I am 6 weeks pregnant and asked to get an appointment and the front desk was really rude and just told me to “go to county clinic because we can’t take you in” , at first she said “you didn’t visit us for 2 years we can’t take you” and then changed her statement saying “we don’t take CenCal anymore”. She kept changing her statements. Like other reviews said they are very cold and no manners.

Sandy Serra I contacted them 5 months ago for an appointment. I was told that Dr. Terbell is no longer seeing patients for routine exams (!?). So they scheduled me for an appointment with a PA. I show up and they had no appointment for me that day, instead someone scheduled it for 2024 on the same date even though the message from Johana said 12/4/23. No one even bothered to contact me to apologize or reschedule.

Laura Heiker Id been to see one of gynecologists for an issue before, which was fine. So when I was pregnant and tried to make an appointment, they told me that I could only be seen at 8-10 weeks; if I went past that, they wouldnt see me at all. (What the hell?) They only had a male doctor available, which I told them I wasnt comfortable with, and that I worked full time, so I couldnt come in the middle of the day on a weekday. They were not understanding at all and very rude. I ended up calling Cottage Health, and they had no idea why Sansum wouldnt see me past 10 weeks. Guess its a way to weed out patients.

Brenna Chang Do not trust these people with your healthcare. I was a patient of Dr Craig at the Samsun Clinic one year ago. I had a clump of pre-cancerous tissue that she removed. She messaged me (after the results sat on her desk for 5 days) and said the clump was positive, but the margins were negative. So, she definitely got all of the bad stuff out, correct? I moved cities for work and got a new doctor. After transferring my records, my new doctor informed me that the margins from back then were actually positive. Thankfully, I am in good hands now, but I can’t believe a doctor would sign off on biopsy results without reading them first.

Emilee Caro Based on other reviews, experiences here seem hit-or-miss. I think its absolutely worth a shot, though! I just went for my first OB appnt (first pregnancy!) and it all went very smoothly. I got several confirmations for my appnt leading up to it, had no problems checking in, had the sweetest doctor Navdeesh Reiners (cant recommend her enough!) and was in and out in an hour. All the other staff and nurses I met were super nice, too. One thing I agree with about other reviews is it did take a long time to get an appointment, but ironically they got me in sooner than any of the other dozen clinics/hospitals/practices in the area that I tried first. Ill try and leave updates of my experience here over the next few months!
