Bailey Templeton Came in to get 3 full sets of acrylics with my sister and mom for my birthday. We were immediately sat and offered drinks. The salon was clean and the employees were friendly and had a great sense of humor. Their nail art is very impressive and every nail artist is incredibly talented. Will be coming her again!

Andrea Burgess When I first walked in, I immediately felt welcomed and greeted. They were very pleasant. Everybody there listened to what I wanted and took him into consideration that I had had problems in the past with other places they did exactly what I wanted, and I love the fact that they took their own twists and added things to make it even better my experience there was amazing. I will never go anywhere else. I would recommend them to everybody. I love the fact that they take their time with you and wanna make sure you have the best experience you can they do not just try to rush you through like a lot of places do they are very caring and compassionate to give you exactly what you want. Their prices are unbelievably amazing for the quality and work that they do, I can’t wait to try their other services there that they provide they do hair and pedicures eyebrows pretty much everything you can think of and as pleased as I am with my nails, I can’t wait to see what else they can do cause I guarantee it’s gonna be an amazing experience as well. If I could rate them higher than a five star I would. Anybody want the best experience of their life go to Skylab nails and spa you will not regret it. I will never go back to anybody else but them.

ann tommaney I came from a disastrous previous nail salon in Chico that did not warm me about how my nails were doing and went ahead and gave me acrylics that almost ruined my natural nails. I came to Skylab and the head guy recognized I had a serious issue with my nail health. He could not in good conscience do another acrylic fill, which would worsen my nail health. Instead, he cleaned up my nails and told me to let them breathe for awhile before I tried anything again. He didn’t even charge me for the clean up! I 100% recommend this salon; they understand exactly what you need and do what’s best for your nail health. Thank you!

Sharon Bagnato I had a great pedicure experience at SkyLab today. It was relaxing, and the technician had the perfect amount of pressure for the scrub massage and everything else. Some places Ive been to, they scrub entirely too hard, and it hurts, but not today! I described what I wanted, showed her the silver I wanted over the black, and she delivered. Definitely recommend!

Vero Alvarez This is my fourth set of nails I’ve gotten done here at Aroma’s and I love them! Thanks to my friend that recommended me this place back in July. Vina is the Best. She is friendly, sweet, and gets you in and out quickly and does amazing work. Every time I get a new set I always get compliments on my nails. Everyone there is great. Taryn Lonsbrough This was my first time in and I left feeling so happy with the results. Vina really listened to all by wishes on this set - I got tips with floral design on two nails and she charged me $55. She was so sweet and super efficient. I will definitely be back!

Zachary Kramer Unfortunately not a great experience. The guy that did my nails, was so rough with the electric filer that he nicked my fingers in a couple places. Then after I left, I realized when he used the cuticle cutter on the side of my nails, he went way too deep and now I have sores on almost all my fingers..

Lauren Orozco Came here for the first time today for a gel pedicure and gel manicure. Prices are a big higher than I’m used to but honestly worth it. The experience was great! Not rushed at all, they really paid attention to detail and gave me an amazing massage for both services. My new go-to place for sure! Very friendly. Thank you Instant Nails!

Jamie Holwerda This is really a sweet little nail shop that does excellent work. Im new to Chico, and have been twice, but wont return due to the add-on fees that make pretty basic services outrageously expensive. My most recent trip was for a gel mani. Their pricing works like this: $5 gel removal fee (for the gel polish they put on me at my last appt) + $35 manicure + $15 up-charge for new gel. Im sorry, but $55 is insane for a gel mani. I got $35 gel manis every two weeks when I lived in Sacramento (at a very nice shop in Fair Oaks). $55 is acrylic fill territory! This is a nice shop, with nice people, that does nice work. Their price structure is prohibitive, though.

Tina Hanson Best nail place I’ve tried in Chico. Consistently clean, friendly and thorough. A little bit more expensive than some other places but you get what you pay for and more. It’s been my go to place for years now and every time I have to go somewhere else due to travel or scheduling I regret it and can’t wait for my next appointment here.

E Newt Went for the first time today for a basic spa pedicure, and it was by far the best pedicure I’ve ever gotten! The lady I had was so nice, gentle, and did a very good job. She massaged my legs for probably 30-40 minutes and it was amazing! The salon is the cleanest I’ve ever been to, and there’s no feeling of being rushed at all. They commit to taking care of you during your time, and I never once felt like they were trying to hurry so they could go to the next person. The massage chairs are also the most amazing ones I’ve ever experienced at a salon! It has a much cozier feel that your typical nail salon, and the quality and cleanliness of their equipment and polish was impressive. Not a single thing to complain about after my experience! And my toes look great! If I could give them a higher rating I would!

Sally Latham Best and longest moisturizing leg massage included in pedicure.. LOVED IT.. VERY Poor tip, dip, gel nail manicure. Got no dip, no moisturize or hand massage and nails are lumpy. It was my first experience getting tips so was very disappointed and yet paid full price. respond to their comment. Nothing they said is true. They did not explain or ask those questions. They did not ask if I was happy before I left. They did charge me full price. I have taken away one star because they are not truthful

The salon is so nice, clean and everyone that works there is very sweet. I love that I can make an appointment online. Also, they have so many options with gel and polish that it’s awesome. Kelly Schulman Bee is awesome, meticulous and her salon is clean, professional and a treat to visit! I’ve been searching for a nail salon that can create ombré style dip nails and Bee did a fantastic job! I loved them so much that I turned to Bee for lash extensions and once again thrilled with the results ! Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

They did a fantastic job and all the workers are so nice :) they are also one of the only places that have a hugeee selection of colors in dip powder which is so hard to find in Chico! However, my nail lady is in YC and I am temporarily working in Chico so it’s really hard to coordinate a date with her. I decided to try Topnotchz and let me tell you, I am not disappointed at all! Tommy does a great job. Quick, smooth, perfectly shaped and a cute design.

Michelle Marrs Extermly disapointed I just had to file for a complaint with my Bank. Yesterday over the phone to get refunded for the worst Hair Coloring & Cut I had received. Since I moved to this one shop backwords town out of the Bay Area! The owner did this botched up job herself after she talked me into a low light job for my whole hair besides my bangs last Fri. Plus over thinned my hair. Gave me a problem the other day over the phone after I just noticed how unprofessional it had been made. She clearly didnt want to stay on the line and hanged up on me. The way she handled herself was childished! Didnt bother to offer anymore of her of own time to let me come back down to recolor my hair free of charge. Nor told me about another stylist I could go down to see to redue my hair. I had tried being nice to her entire salon staff apperently their under the given impression that Im too bossy! For how I like my hair done a certain way. Ashely didnt like the fact that my prev stylist whose 3 hrs back in Los Gatos, CA knew how to do my hair the way I liked it. Plus knew how to do a natural look that you can tell has been done with the color fusion job with Redken vol 20. I had been told to reschdule my appt for a later time instead of having done when requested last Fri instead of Thurs. The Color Fusion product wasnt even in the salon after giving them more then enough time go even have it ready on the day of my appt. I DID txt and sechduled in advanced for what I wanted for a coloring job and she tells me to my face claiming she never receivced my txt!?! I had been waiting for a response for 2 wks for any reply. Which is another red flag with how their not that serious in the way their running shop. It was the right number! Another women named Angela whom I had to speak to put in my info to even TRY to see the salon owner for my appt. Obviously didnt put down my entire info into the system seeing exactly what I txted to her boss for what I wanted done. Dont go down to this salon if you want your color job done by actual people who know exactly what their doing. Just look at how my entire hair looks uneven from the low light/highlight job. It doesnt even look like my hair got colored at all!

gabriella hammond I Do Not Recommend This Place At All For Eyebrows. Definitely Not Professional. I Had Nice Thick Eyebrows When I Walked Into That Shop, Keeping In Mind I Only Asked For A Cleanup, When I Came Out My Eyebrows Were Thin And Looked Like Spoons On My Face. It Will Definitely Take At Least 3 Months Or More To Get Them Back To How They Were. All Else Im Going To Say Is, That Lady Is Lucky I Paid.

Maily has so many different cool decals, nail jewelry, nail magnets and anything you can think of!!! They also have kid pedicure stations!!! Very clean and friendly!! Dont forget you can have some wine or beer too!!

Jennifer Tammy and David are both amazing! The first place in the area I went to when I moved here had my acrylics lifting and coming off around 2 weeks. They last 4 weeks again since seeing Tammy and David. And Tammy is amazing with designs! And so quick but still quality work. They are very attentive to detail and perfection in their work. Their stamp card is a great thing and I love that they never try to upsell you on addons like almost any other nail salon I’ve been to in all my years. They are very upfront with costs and have always let me know before starting the nail color and design I choose.

My nails turned out to look amazing, however my sisters nails which was done by someone else, mine were done by the owner, looked awful there are air bubbles and the acrylic is uneven. They look horrible but then both my nieces look good. So I still give them 5 stars

You can literally show her any image and she can re-create it. If you happen to have somebody else doing your nails, she will usually jump in and do the nail art for you. They have everything from full sets and fills with acrylic, a HUGE selection of quality gel polishes & dip powders, jelly & cat eye polishes, all sorts of gemstones, lots of cute things for acrylic inlay, fun foils, chrome powders, etc. just about anything you could want & regular manicures. Their pedicures are so relaxing, comfortable massage chairs, super sanitary and they do an awesome job. You can get gel or acrylic toes with nail art as well. Lily’s skill set is amazing! She does amazing Lash Extensions! Super affordable price point. The retention I have experienced has been amazing especially compared to other people I’ve gone to and she is so fast. She does beautiful nanoblading, microblading, powder brows, combination brows & corrections. Can’t wait to get mine done! The lip blushing and correction she does I have seen on other clients and it is just beautiful and I definitely am going to be getting it done. I get my eyebrows waxed there & they offer other waxing services and she always does an amazing job and I never have any issues with my sensitive skin. Overall, this is just a great salon. Walk-ins are always welcome and if you want to get any of the other services like lash extensions, nanoblading, microblading, etc., lip, blushing, etc.. Make sure you call or go in and have a consultation and then you will usually make an appointment unless she has time that day. 10⭐️ out of 10⭐️

Karla Johnson Lily and her crew do fantastic work! Whatever nail idea I ask for, Lily never says "I cant do that". I get dip powder manicures and have never had a single issue. Pedicures are always awesome. Most recently I got lash extensions. They are natural and beautiful; not to long or fluffy! They dont even hit my eyeglasses when I blink. I love my spa days at American Nails & Spa.

Amanda Mcclintock I have been here 5-6 times now so overall I like this place over a few others I’ve tried in Chico. They have better prices and the quality isn’t less. One visit I had a longer wait time- 30 minutes- but they had me soak my legs while I waited which was nice to offer. 50$ for what I got this time a full set w a design, and my ombre fills are 40-45. Ombre and designs always cost more and other places I usually pay 60+ before tip. The techs are all really nice too. The first time I was there, the owner Lily, took me in on a Sunday 30 minutes before closing. I was shocked and that’s one reason I came back.

Olivia Rodriguez Honestly the worst massage I’ve ever got. I got my wife a couples massage. We got there 3 minutes late, the sir by the reception guilt tripped us a little bit but it wasn’t too bad. But then the massage started. My wife got luckier than I, I don’t remember the name of her masseuse, but she at least went all in there. Mine I honestly couldn’t feel anything, it felt like he didn’t know what he was doing. When I turned around on my back for him to do my neck/chest/shoulders, ALL HE DID FOR 15 MINUTES WAS CARESSING MY SCALP! on our way out, the lady at the reception was absolutely incompetent, we weren’t able to tip with card because she couldn’t figure it out. I came because of the good reviews but I‘m never coming back again. Only Urban Med Spa in Chico from now on! Really sad I spent so much money on this place…

Osmara Herrera We booked a couples massage a week ahead. Called ahead in the morning the day of to confirm the appointment only to get there a few hours later for our appointment and be told we were only booked for a single massage not a couples massage. It was obviously a clerical error on their part, which is understandable, but the receptionist didn’t give any solution or option, or even an offer to reschedule, just a “sorry, we don’t have you down for a couples.” Obviously expecting us to leave. Awkward experience.

cindee lanning I had my first Massage in years, It could not have been better. Sadie listened to me about my neck and shoulder pain. As I was driving home, I realized I wasnt in pain. The spa was everything you would want a spa to be. Calm, relaxing, and very enjoyable.

Jamie Chamberlain I had an apt on 1/18 for 1:45 that I accidentally booked under my husbands name. I called and asked that they change it to my name. I was told they would cancel my apt and re enter in my name. Show up for my apt and I was not in the schedule. Low and behold they accidentally scheduled me for the following week. I was told they could squeeze me in at 2:50 with a male masseuse, whom Ive had before and was not a fan of so I declined and said I would keep my new apt on the 25th. The original masseuse I scheduled came out and said she had a 1:45 and said my husbands name. I was like OH thats my apt, just wrong name. Another woman waiting said that was her apt, and the receptionist corrected the masseuse and said no, you have (womans name). So I said thats weird that the masseuse i had originally booked still had our name. To which I was told "she must be looking at an old schedule" at that point the woman who now had the 1:45 slot says to me "its my apt dont be rude". I responded stating i wasnt trying to be rude nor was I speaking to her and said "damn". (I was not yelling) The receptionist shushed me. I explained again to her I wasnt trying to be rude to anyone, I was just confused at the situation. She essentially couldnt have given 2 craps, gave me the most insincere apology and I said, never mind cancel please. In my opinion none of that was handled well at all. I walked out utterly mortified that someone thought I was creating a scene with no interjection from the staff.

Ally Miracle I asked for a white to black ombré and they said they could do it. The lady got my acrylic on and tried to do one nail before calling someone over to tell me she couldn’t do it. Then she said she’d give me black nails with jewels and i mentioned multiple air bubbles a few times before leaving but they weren’t as bad as they were the next morning. When i called the next day saying i just wanted my money back they said they’d redo them. I politely told them i really didn’t want them to do them again, i wanted to go somewhere else. They said no and i went in the next day to get them redone. They were better looking but lasted less than 1.5-2 weeks. the pics are the night/morning after i left. never went again.

The young lady just wanted getting done for quality of customer and hurted my nail couple time. After the job done my nail were thick , look ugly and they were not clean. Hannah Creech Everyone working here does an absolute amazing job every time. I love coming here, they are super fast, friendly, and they pay attention to detail. I’ve been coming here for years and Tony and Tammy are always soooo sweet. The man who painted my nails today (I didn’t catch his name) but he did an incredible job!! I walked out so satisfying with my nails, I’m in love. The attention to details and patience he had while working on my nails was greatly appreciated. And if your looking for a pedicure…. I highly recommend, they’re prices are pretty inexpensive and the leg massages are wonderful!

Romeo Valentino Super friendly people, they quickly sit you down in a massage chair and get right to work on you. Very comfortable atmosphere and prices are very reasonable. If you go here, try and get one of the owners to work on you, they do the best work and take there time with you.

Rachael Hill I used to use this salon for my pedicures, but they started only having one person do them. And they would tease me about how much the person liked me and would ask if I liked them. It became very uncomfortable, and I stopped going.

Misty Neumann My daughter and I went to get our nails done, Mani/Pedis, for both of us. They have many selections and good prices though we spent $105 for the both of us before tip. However, my cuticles were not completely removed during my manicure and immediately after leaving my nail color was ruined because three layers of nail polish and using your hands never works well. My toes however did do well (they were done by someone else and she did pretty good). Overall, OK experience. UPDATE: One week later and my daughters acrylics have already snapped off!!! Never has she experienced that before. We will not be returning to have our nails done here. I wish we could get half of our money back.

Marissa N This is a nice nail salon to grab a relaxing pedicure in massage chairs or get a manicure. Seats for pedicures are located next to one another, so if youre looking for a place to bring a friend along this is a great set up. Took my daughter to get a full set of acrylics for Homecoming with her friend. They accommodated us without and appointment and were so sweet. Friendly technicians and clean environment. We will definitely return for fill. They offer a wide array colors to choose from and have a wonderful pedicure area. The nail art turned out just as the girls had requested. They were pleased with nails for the dance. What I loved about Bliss is they dont seem to have that powerful odor of nail salons, its clean and the techs are sweet.

Katie Plaw If I could give 0 stars I would. Nail tech seemed very irritated and was rushing through. Wouldn’t let the lamp run a full cycle so they kept smudging and she had to redo a few nails a few times. Cut them way too short, kept putting the wrong color so it seemed she was getting more irritated as I was correcting her. Also watched a guy drop a dremel on the floor and proceed to put it back in his kit. Better off with the nubs I had before. Edited 12/16 Every gem and nail ended up falling off within 2 weeks

Jennifer Hoglund Went for pedis with the girls. They were flexible about adding an additional person for a manicure. Trying to communicate my allergy was a struggle. So I just opted for the basic pedicure. The gal that worked on me broke the skin on my heel scrubbing but otherwise did a great job. We were all happy with how our gel pedicures turned out. Of note, they prefer cash and only take cash or checks.

Ingrid Miller They do a great job, as with any nail salon expect to wait a little bit. But their work is really good so it’s worth a little wait. I love a traditional ombré French tip, and it’s always on point.

Rissa Ma Pedicure was great. The manicure was horrible. Not filed correctly super messy nail polish job, not happy at all. I also asked for black and red designs and she told me no, I get black.

Lauren Alvarado I love this place. Maily is the technician I use and she is precise and takes her time. I have been going to her for years and am never disappointed. She takes into account my fragile nails and makes sure she is careful when doing my nails. I usually have a picture handy for her but she always makes my nails look better than the picture. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a good technician to choose her because she is the best out there!!!!

Daelyn A I came in for a fill and left with oddly shaped nails. The nail tech didn’t shape them at all, after I asked for the acrylic to be a little bit thicker because it kept breaking as she was trying to file the nail. Not with $40 to go get them fixed else where or do it myself. It’s seems they try to use as little supplies and they can and work as fast as they can.

Lily’s Nails is everything you could want: clean, welcoming, and filled with the kind of nail artists who genuinely care about making you look and feel amazing. Hannah was my nail artist, and she worked magic on my hands. She didn’t even judge me for coming in with a tragic, broken set that looked like I had been clawing my way out of the underworld. She took her time, made sure everything was perfect, and now I can’t stop staring at my nails like I’m about to be cast in a hand soap commercial. Kaila, the manager, was just as wonderful, so warm and welcoming, I felt like I was part of the Lily’s Nails family within five minutes of walking in. If they offered me a little nail station in the back to live in, I’d probably consider it. Highly recommend this place! Whether you need a fresh set, a confidence boost, or just some good vibes, this is the spot. I’ll definitely be back!

Annaliese Kuhn Unless you’re getting acrylics, I would go somewhere else. They’re great at acrylics, but consistently produce disappointing quality for any other item. I try to be communicative about seeing thin patches/weird shapes/etc to which they simply assure me “don’t worry don’t worry” but then leave all the same issues and don’t fix them. Every time I hope they’ll be better, but this will be my last time here after another disappointing visit Why are the nails on my fourth fingers (on both hands) leaning so weird? I’ll never know

gloria caves Just got a pedicure. Had to point out dry skin to the tech. After leaving and really looking at it, I saw it was terrible. My feet still had dry skin on them, ends of nails not polished or filed, and sloppy polish. I went back in to ask for a refund and was told it’s because my feet are too dry! They didn’t even put oil or lotion on them. After the last trying to argue it was basically my fault for not getting pedicures often enough, I gave up saying I would just post a review. Suddenly, she asked if I wanted my money back. I don’t expect to have to argue for what I’m paying for, be insulted, then have to argue for a refund when I didn’t get what was promised ( the menu card specifies what you are paying for). I will not go back and suggest you don’t go either.

ashley Taylor This is my second trip in. My first visit I was blown away with the skill. I got a different person this time and am still very pleased with the results. The technicians never make my hads hurt and never make the nails too thick when getting acrylics done.

Charlotte Caravalho Tech took a chunk out of my cuticle and I bled the entire manicure. I paint my own nails regularly, and I do a better job than the end result of this manicure. He also had to redo some nails because after drying he told me to wash my hands and the paint just came off the other nails’ color is uneven, has weird texture and bubbles. Quality of the regular polishes is pretty questionable. Sloppy job that was extremely rushed (even tho nobody was waiting and it was super slow) and I was still expected to pay full price. I went with a friend and she ended with several tiny cuts on the tips of her fingers from them filing her skin. Will not be going back. I do not recommend their services.

Zury Cibrian Got my nails done for my bday weekend at this place for the first time, classic white both mani and pedi gel, you cant mess that up its a plain color. I feel like the guy could of done a better job, its monday and my nails have some type of hazy brown film on them, that should NOT be happening. He seemed like he was in a hurry even though there were only 3 ppl in there, it was a saturday morning. This is what bothers me, for $80 bucks including tip, why do i feel like you want to be done with me and push me out. Im a customer that came to pamper mysef not to be rushed. I will not be coming back. I am still trying to find a nail place that I can feel relaxed, so far in chico I have not found it. Please send me a msg if you have any recommendations.

Brianna Waybright WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Unsanitary tools!!! If I could give this salon a 0 star review, I would in a heart beat! My moms friend went there for a pedicure two weeks before my mom did about three months ago. Eventually, my moms friend felt like she had an ingrown toe nail. A couple weeks later, my mom felt the same way, she chipped at the nail polish and found her big toe nail BLACK! Turns out her friend experienced the same thing!! They both got a fungus infection in their big toe. My moms other toe felt weird and she fortunately caught that one early and is now treating it, but her other toe nail is completely dead and chipping away from this infection she caught at the salon! If you decide to go there, be sure to DEMAND they clean their tools AND hands before touching you! What happened to my mom and her friend is absolutely horrible and should never happen to anyone getting a pedicure! We pay them good money to take care of us and for them to not clean their tools correctly, if not at all, is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!

Teena Budd Went in for a basic manicure and the gal didnt clean my nails, soak them, give me a message or even put on finishing oil. Done in 10mins. I had to ask for the oil. Staff is rude and doesnt care about keeping clients long term. That was 10 days ago, now I have an infection on one nail bed. Save yourself and go anywhere besides here.
